Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

Think I got my hopes up too soon Sad

Was feeling a little crampy at work, been home for abiut 30 mins and just gone to the loo, and when I wiped there was pink on the tissue.

Bugger.

And there was me on the bus, when it was going over speed bumps, thinking how much that hurt my boobs ... just had a good grope of them now and nothing.

Was just on the verge of telling OH that AF was still late.

I want to cry.

OH has just given me loads of hugs and said if AF does indeed turn up, then we'll just keep trying ... seems his jitters have gone away completely. He said we'll try every day and that we WILL have a baby together. This is why I love him so much - he's wonderful :)

Truffkin · 26/01/2011 21:39

Crow that sounds lovely and all the more reason for extra 'trying' effort next month! The Truffkin household shagathon starts on Saturday Grin

BamBam fingers crossed for you then, I hope you don't get the overqualified feedback, that is so condescending.

excitedLJ · 26/01/2011 22:02

well ladies JS number 1 for today done (nickel with successful ejaculation- unsure of sticky beans!!), I've been to my burlesque class and now patiently waiting to pick DH up from town later for JS number 2! There are definite perks to this Grin

crow that's so nice to hear (the cuddle bit obv) and all your joint positivity will definitely help next time Smile

crowette · 27/01/2011 08:16

Morning ladies :)

excited burlesque dancing sounds fun - my kind of thing! I wish I had somewhere here that taught it.

No more spotting since yesterday, but did have cramps and my boobs are barely tender at all ... so just waiting for AF to turn up now.

OH went out and got me a huge bar of Galaxy chocolate last night, so I still have my 'feel good' stash Grin

JosieSmith1 · 27/01/2011 08:35

Welcome excited Smile

Sorry Crow (hugs). Hope you enjoyed the galaxy though and fingers crossed if it hasn't arrived yet it might not....

I am feeling a bit crampy this morning but can't decide if I should be getting my hopes up or if I might just need the loo Blush Grin

deemented · 27/01/2011 08:53

Aw Crow - no chance it could be implantation?

I'm afraid i've had to admit defeat in the shagathon stakes. Just. Too. Knackered. Give it a few days though... Grin

nickelbabysnatcher · 27/01/2011 10:18

love the idea of practising your burlesque with your DH excited

crowette still hoping, cos it might be implantation. Have you POASd yet? If your period is due now, you should get an accurate read. then if it's BFN, you can get on without worrying (like I did!)

does anyone here get the feeling that the men in our lives are only excited about this JSing because it means they get to have sex all the time? Grin

DH is far too happy when I tell him I'm not PG again.... Hmm

Thanks Josie I did enjoy the chocolate and still have more to enjoy tonight Grin

I don't think so dee, Had more spotting just now ... only when I wipe so far, but dug out the panty liners and stuffed my handbag with tampons - just to be on the safe side. Actually as I typed that. I got the feeling I'm going to need them, lol!

T'is only our second cycle of actually trying, as we took some time out after the MC and still weren't putting in enough effort as we could ... will be different from now on though Wink

Tsk, bollocks to double posting!

crowette · 27/01/2011 10:34

Hi nickel ... not POAS, don't think there's any point now and don't want to waste the money. Is odd how very sore my boobs were, the only times they've been that sore was when I've been pregnant ... maybe it was a CP, or another very early MC? Confused

nickelbabysnatcher · 27/01/2011 10:43

it might be - apparently (i have been finding out recently) CPs are very, very common.

[big un-MNy hugs]

I've just done a bit of googling to find out about the likelihood of my homebirth being frowned upon (yes, I have a very long outlook!)
and i found <a class="break-all" href="http://www.birthchoiceuk.com/BirthChoiceUKFrame.htm?www.birthchoiceuk.com/Tables/TableC_ST1.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this , which quite clearly shows that my area, Swale, has one of the highest HB rates in Kent, and is much higher than the national average (not that anyone could dissuade me if they tried, but it's nice to know it's common here)

OP posts:
NervousNelly · 27/01/2011 10:48

Aw crow hugs, I know what you mean about not wanting to get your hopes up. We've been trying about 6 months now and I've POAS only 2 or 3 times. And one of those was just because I was going to the dentist so wanted to be sure Hmm. Even thought last month I went a whole day late (flipping body is regular as clockwork normally) I refused to test as knew full well it would be a BFN.

Nickel my OH doesn't even seem that enthusiastic about the JS at the moment :( He has been very busy at work admittedly, but he's not being very interested or enthusiastic about any of it. He certainly isn't rushing out to buy me Galaxy. Arse.

LOL at Josie needing the loo!

Anyway seen or heard from Sleepycaz lately?Hope she is doing ok. What about 30? You still out there? .

WFH today so will try desperately not to be sucked in to MN today. So don't get all chatty like you did the last couple of days Wink.

NervousNelly · 27/01/2011 10:49

Anyone not Anyway. Idiot me.

NervousNelly · 27/01/2011 10:50

Grrr sorry also just realised I typed a worky acronym Blush. WFH is working from home, if you don't speak Office!!

nickelbabysnatcher · 27/01/2011 11:38

:9 Nelly - tell him from me that you need chocolate and sex or he can sleep on the settee

OP posts:
crowette · 27/01/2011 12:15

Well, that's AF arrived - a whole 4 days late Hmm

Just eyed up evening primrose oil here at work, will nab some of that after my shift and start back on the conception vitamins again! OH will at least be happy to be getting pounced upon a lot more!

nickel I had a planned home birth with youngest daughter 11 years ago ... I told the Dr as soon as I found out I pregnant that I wanted one, and he told they didn't support them here ... I told the midwife the same and she said the same. I hold them both that I had friends who'd had them, so knew I could get one. At my next visit and subsequent ones I repeated my wishes and as soon as they realised it wasn't an early pregnancy wishy washy fad, they were fully on board. My midwife was very excited to do her first home delivery with me Grin so Is recommend you push for it ... it really was amazing and I'll wanting it again :)

crowette · 27/01/2011 12:19

Grr crap phone post again ... I should remember to proof read my posts Grin
