Last thread was here

The (updated)(again)(again) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator for the Viroids:

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday (or when you've had bad news). Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). (It just takes longer to get in the mood

What does PIAR stand for?

Test, test, test, test!

Cheeser · 18/01/2011 10:24

Oh, or test when you get the sticks Blush sorry, cross-posts.

Yes I would second how serene the water-birth woman was. Really inspiring actually. Especially as she managed to cope with her annoying attentionseeking sister in the room too, as well as her mum and DP! So lovely. Watching that programme definitely makes me more broody. Also slightly scares me as it looks painful but I still can't wait Grin

Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 10:28

PIAR = Pee in a ramekin. We are classy here, you know! Grin

BamBam21 · 18/01/2011 10:35

Morning ladies!

I just read through the last day of the thread, and was so excited to see if there were BFPs from GOML and Nickel! Where has GOML gone? Sorry you are having to hold out a bit longer Nickel. Hang in there!

Bit confusing here. ERTD seemed to arrive on Saturday, but was really light and has practically disappeared now. Usually a gory nightmare that lasts about a week! (TMI - sorry! Grin Anyway I am now wondering if something is up, as I still have quite sore boobs.

Hugs to everybody! Smile

If you were due for ERTD, BamBam then might be worth a test. Milano one of the grads, had a day period and she was actually pg.

GetOrfMoiLand · 18/01/2011 11:32

PIAR - lol!

No I haven't pissed in a ramekin yet (nickel - me and you are disappointing) - I was going to last night, but couldn't find the test anywhere. I had an empty pregnancy test box with nowt in it. I think that DP pee'd on it just to check Smile

Funnily enough my boobs are not at all fizzy or sore today. So perhaps I have just imagined the whole thing. But come on then period if you are bloody going to arrive

Yes - Ra is indeed a sun god Hmm.

DP and I watched OBEM - he actually welled up at the water birth (wasn't that beautiful) but I cried at the look on the welsh woman's face - didn't she look amazed when she first saw her baby? Went from pain and shock to complete awe in about 3 seconds. Beautiful.

panpipe · 18/01/2011 11:39

My Testing Tuesday is.......another BFN. I'm now 5 weeks and 2 days without ERTD so I haven't got the faintest idea when it's gonna show up. I've been fed up of them since the age of 15 (or whenever it was they started) and now one hasn't turned up I can't wait to see one! I just want to know what's going on!

Anyway enough of that. GOML have you tested yet?!?!?

And Cheeser are you actually my long lost twin? I've also been having the horrible sore nipples and am in the middle of decisions with DH about what to do next with our lives. One of the reasons to start TTC now so soon after getting married was that I'm still in an entry level job (which I'm really not enjoying :() so if I do take a break for kids then I won't have missed out on too much. We're also thinking of moving closer to London as the commute is getting to us now! We'll need a bigger place anyway if we do have kids so basically I'm looking for where I can find a better job. Doesn't matter so much to DH as he's all over the place with work.

I can't be doing with all these life decisions! I think a pub lunch is called for :o

Oh panpipe, I am so sorry. Sad

Sounds like you have a long and erratic cycle as well. I have not ever cared before in my life (period turns up when it wants, who gives a monkeys) but now I just want to bloody well know. I am too scared to test really because I don't think it will really tell me anything - if it is a Neg does that mean anything, or is it because my period is not due yet?

I am also 5 weeks 2 days.

I think it is a good idea pan to move closer to London if you can, commuting after a long time is exhausting. I used to have a 2 hr per day commute, it was wonderful when I ,oved jobs to be closer to home. I worked it out that I was spending 40 hours a month (a working week) in the car. It is hateful and I can't imagine factoring a baby into that.

Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 12:12

My sympathies for the BFN and also for horrible commutes. I'm so fortunate that we're settled in a lovely house and our jobs are sorted. That's why it's so galling that the baby hasn't shown up!!

GOML - that is a ridiculous long time in the car. I had an hour and half to get to uni every day - lived outside London and hated every bit of train and tube. Wonderful to move away again.

Can totally get you with not wanted to test. It's always a toss up - the longer I don't test, the more my hopes get up. I prefer to test, know it's negative and then forget about it. If it is too early still, I'll have a pleasant surprise!!

nickelbabysnatcher · 18/01/2011 12:13

GOML - it was the welsh woman i was talking about in my post (i didn't see the water birth)

panpipe - that's most odd. Confused

don't worry - I'm doing that, too - I'm obsessing over every "ooh could i be pregnant?" thread atm.

and it's not good for me to have this nickname on the pregnancy/birth sections....

nickelbabysnatcher · 18/01/2011 12:25

Morning Caz how are you?

OP posts:
Got2Dance · 18/01/2011 12:26

Hey sleepy - how goes it? You'll notice our group has changed somewhat. Some new faces and the grads have moved on. How are things with you?

SleepyCaz · 18/01/2011 12:31

Hi Nickel and GTD

Doing pretty good.Need to be tidying up, but MNing instead.

It has changed hasn't it? So many grads, aww :)

Did a HPT last night, still testing a VERY faint +ive. Want it to hurry up and turn -ive now, so can crack on.

How are you viroids doing?

nickelbabysnatcher · 18/01/2011 12:35

loads of newbies, too! Grin

It's a bit mad round her at the minute (the thread, not IRL, cos that would be insane...)

BamBam21 · 18/01/2011 13:04

Sorry to hear about the BFN panpipe. I hope you figure out what's going on one way or another soon.

I am terrified to do a test, as I only have one cheapy one in the bathroom, and can't afford to buy any more at the moment. It's really odd and unusual for me though. Boobs aren't as sore as the last couple of days, but still a bit.

Nickel and GOML - still have evrything crossed for you both. Don't know if I can hold this pose for much longer! Confused Grin
