thanks for the positive vibes Chloe hello and welcome. I think I may remember you on a thread a long time ago. I have been around on this one since June when I was about half way through my mc "complications" I had a mmc in March and it took 7 months for me to get my periods back. I have just finished treatment for AS and can start TTC again (literally this week) Feeling very scared too as there are quite high chances that things could go wrong again, but still determined to try despite the fear.

Anyway, all the ladies on here are lovely and you will find people at all different stages of their mc. The thread does move super fast at times, dont worry if you cant keep up, just chime in when you can. If you want to be on the list, just copy and paste it and add yourself in anytime.

take care xxx

Hello chloe, just a quick note to say welcome and sorry you've had such a tough time. I joined this thread quite recently after I MC'd my first pregnancy in December (Christmas Eve in fact Sad). Am waiting for my body to get back to normal so we can start TTC again but am also very nervous about putting myself through all this again. I understand what you mean about your cousin - my sister-in-law is pregnant and we would have been due about the same time. I find that pretty difficult.

Anyway, am enjoying your positive vibes - good luck with the Clomid and job hunting!

Ladybee · 09/01/2011 21:18

Orange I'm so pleased to see today's news. Although I'm sure you don't feel out of the woods, it's brilliant that the sac is there, everything is measuring as it should. Ooooh, fingers crossed for you and bean. And I hate to slap a girl who's down but really! nothing to complain about?

dachs really hope the follies have snuck up into action without you noticing. I just really hope it's good news. What happens if they cancel it? does it still 'count' in your allocation?

Pink it's harsh isn't it - those symptoms are such a pain in the A. You know we all want them to be real for you. Good job keeping some positivity. I'm using a hypnosis/relaxation app each night to help me chill out and not let all the thoughts going round my head keep me awake. It works well, I've never heard the end of it so far Grin

Chloe welcome, sounds like you've been doing a tonne of thinking and grieving and working out how to get your life more like you wish it to be. Well done on applying for the jobs - I really hope you are succesful with one of your applications. I hope the chlomid does good things for you - and that the side effects aren't too bad?

I'm battling fear right now - I think I'm in the same boat as Nickster - not really any symptoms. I'm trying to remind myself that with DS I didn't have much until wk7, but there's just a big nagging feeling this one isn't going to work either. Am trying to keep positive as obviously in absence of anything wrong I just have to try to believe my body will do the right thing this time. But I'm not good with faith v evidence Sad

Mamapower · 09/01/2011 21:31

Bollox! Wrote a bloody long message and Internet went down! Thanks BT! Now on phone so here's shorter version!

orange don't be daft, you did what we'd all do and freaked out! Feet up and relax!

Welcome Chloe sorry you are here, hope you find our support helpful through the highs and lows!

Dachs hope you've had amazingly relaxed weekend and follicles are not so small

Mamapower · 09/01/2011 21:36

pink totally get you and on case your not around much, I'll be thinking of you on Friday.

emoo and mummy they're men, give them time. I'm sure deep down any negativity is because they don't like seeing you in pain, emotionally or physically.

nix and yrmotb how were roasties? We had lunch out, so much nicer with no washing up!!

Sorry to all I missed, doing this on phone is bloomin hard! Ugh!

nickstermum · 09/01/2011 21:45

Welcome chloe sorry you have to be here though, and so sorry for your losses. Hope your stay is short and productive!

Dachs sending your follies lots of growth boosting vibes for scan tomorrow, hoping everything for you will be fine...!

BEE My symptoms started around 7 weeks, just as i came down with flu, then they disappeared. Keep calm x, might be an idea to stop temping as every little dip may send you doolally! (it would me!) Hope you got some meds sorted lovely lady :) Its very very hard to stay positive though when your thoughts are clouded with terror and knowing.

YO! Great bookface pics btw Grin

Pink glad you are kind of getting what you need from the PP, sad to see you lurk as you keep me laughing, but equally chum its not about me, its about you! Hope those symptoms do transpire into something real babes xxx

Izzy you are so lovely x Just wanted to say that

Well.. not much to report here. Booked in with mw, who gave me a bit of a boost, she had a blighted ovum before 3 children, made me a little bit reassured. Scan date 24th jan, still symptom free ish. Went to friends for dinner last night and bless my chum, made a yummy curry! (madhur jaffreys one) and it was delish.. however it kept me up alllll night! Have felt sick as a dog today but i dont think its pg related as i havent really felt like that upto now. More likely to be the curry!! Terrified of suffering an mmc between now and the scan... but just have to hope and pray its ok and lookaftermyself in the meantime.

xxxx

GetDownYouWillFall · 09/01/2011 21:52

I am soooooooo behind on this thread, it's embarrassing, but just popped in to see you all, and see that some kind soul has put me on the BFP's list - thank you!!

Got my BFP yesterday and am just so happy. (mingled with the fear you inevitably get once you've suffered a MC before).

Just hoping this one sticks.

It has happened the cycle after my WTF cycle, so hoping this gives some of you ladies some hope too.

Best wishes to you all x

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 09/01/2011 22:56

nicks back at you!!

Sorry you're not feeling too good, hope you're on better form tomorrow. Glad the booking in went well, and I hope you manage not to freak out too much before 24 Jan - it'll be here sooner than you think!

Chloe welcome, I'm sorry to hear about your losses Sad. I hope the clomid works for you and that you get your bfp before long

getdown we've "spoken" on Charters but here's another Grin for your bfp anyway!

nickstermum · 09/01/2011 23:04
MummyAbroad · 10/01/2011 00:44

GrinGetGrinDownGrin!!! Congrats!! Sending you lots of sticky sticky thoughts. xxx

apologies for my bizzare one-at-a-time catch ups ladies! Its CD6 and I am getting scared! Scared of failure and scared of success! I kept darting on MN in a sweaty panic, then flicking over to the yahoo Ashermans group only to read some horrifying story about how it all went wrong with a pregnancy after AS treatment and the green light (and with my doctor too Shock - although he does have lots of success stories) and its all just so SCARY!!

I think now that DH has calmed down and got over his fear its my turn to panic!

and breath...

AandRMum · 10/01/2011 04:24

I can completely 100% empathise with you on the fear factor and I am not dealing with your asherman's nor the long road you have taken to get here BUT , carrying on a rather belaboured metaphor you are just on the last bumpy bit of road before hitting a super smooth 4 lane highway! Fantastic that you've had such a great discussion with dh and he is back in the car so to speak. You have done everything possible to give you and your dh the best chance to have a lovely big fat bfp. The only thing you can do now is step away from google - take a leaf from Pinks positivity plan and tell yourself 'I am a beautiful, sexy woman who my dh wants to shag senseless!!!' - which I know you are and 'my womb is like a newly refurbished 5* hotel room all made up with super crisp bed sheets and the upduffed eggs are going to be lining up to dive in' ( you may want to modify these just a little to suit!!). You have been an inspiration and an amazing support on here - this is your time

AandRMum · 10/01/2011 04:33

Orange I can only imagine how worrying this all must be. I am uber-angry and confused by the percentage call - sac measurements and blood results all sound rather more positive than that. You take it easy.

chokky how are you doing lovely?

Chloe welcome - sorry you find yourself here. Half the woman in the area I'm in, conceived their DCs on Clomid so fx it will work wonders for you and great spirit on the job hunting front.

Just mad packing and last minute work avoidance going on here!

notsobarrenmorebrokenbrook · 10/01/2011 05:41

orange just popped in to see if there had been any news. Pleased to see there has and it's good! Go put your feet up and relax as much as you are able to and try to think positive (I know how much easier it is to think the worst). We're all here for you in the meantime. Lots of love x

nickstermum · 10/01/2011 07:30

mummy couldnt have put it more eloquently than A&R!!! xx

Don yer frillies,,,, and think of england x

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 07:50

Morning all!

Lol at mummya and frilly knickers thoughts. mummy step away from google and set your security settings to prevent you from googling horror stories... Google is dangerous... Fingers crossed for the swimmers finding abide snuggly bed in the new 5* hotel.

Chloe welcome to the thread. Sorry you find yourself here but all the people on here are lovely and supportive.

orange I hope you have your feet up and are able to try to relax. We are all thinking of you.

getdown congrats on bfp, sending sticky bean thoughts.

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 07:51

Random typo above ( autocorrect on the iPad) 'abide' should say 'a nice'

jigglebum · 10/01/2011 08:28

Morning everyone
Chloe welcome to the thread, though sorry that you find yourself here. We were TTC for nearly a year before my mc (just before christmas) so three years must be so hard.

Getdown I am so pleased for your BFP. I think we were on an earlier thread together.

Did people find their hormones a bit crazy after their mc? Last week I felt like I had permanent PMT and poor DS probably got the brunt of it as he was with me all day every day and was hard work as he was ill too. Im still suffering with flu type bug but feeling less grumpy today at last and DS's ear infection has burst through now so he is always happier then.

Like chloe I am making a more conscious effort to get a part time job, I need to focus on something other than getting pregnant - and some money would be nice!

Sending positive thoughts to all!

OrangeGloss · 10/01/2011 09:05

Dachs I'm thinking of you today, fx the new bedding did the trick and you've had lots if growth
Emoo sorry it's difficult at the moment, my dh seems to respond to logic not emotion, which I find difficult
Mummya I'm glad you're taking positives from such a difficult time. I thought me and dh were close, but ttc has brought us even closer - which is a nice thought
Pink thanks for advice, I've never had a clot like that during AF. Good call on ditching the thermometer, it may hopefully take some pressure away. Lots of my friends are trying at the moment and it has the potential for lots of disappointments and tears. We'll be here when you do drop in, and fx with new year and new positivity you'll get that BFP soon xx
Ladybee (((hugs))) I don't know how anyone post-mc can have a worry-free pg as it's so hard to not remember what's happened
Nix sorry the curry made you ill, I found that last pg anything too spicy made me ill, which is very inconvenient! Glad you have your scan date, not long now, but obviously time will go uber slow. Glad your poor cat is on the mend
Getdown congrats!! Grin fx for a nice boring 9 months
Mummya I bet you can find equal good and bad stories, but why is it only the negative that stick with us?!
Jigglebum my hormones took a few weeks to settle, and poor DH just had to deal with it. It might be psychological but I didn't feel 'right' until AF showed
Welcome Chloe sorry you find yourself here, hopefully your stay will be a short one x

Thanks again for all the support. Still feeling weird today, especially after 1st dr and sonographer told me it was over. Thankfully the dr making the decision seemed a bit more pragmatic. I've had no pain and only spotting, which I'm trying not to think about. She said i could have none and mc, or a bucketful and be fine. DH is feeling better so I'm getting more support at home, I've known him for 12 years and this was the worst I've even seen him

Oh yeah, and one last thing before I end my essay, someone please < me for googling all morning Sad Blush

Chloe55 · 10/01/2011 09:27

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

Jigglebum - yes your hormones will be all over the place, it takes quite some time to settle down. I focused on a new hobby which stemmed from my MMC, I started making semi-precious jewellery after searching for a keepsake of my own but not really being able to afford the prices of the ones I had found on the net. I love making the pieces but I also think it meant that I didn't allow myself to properly grieve and fully come to terms with things if that makes sense so give yourself plenty of time. Also, as I am sure many have written on here in the past - don't be at all surprised if your grief suddenly hits you like a tonne of bricks again one week, one month, one year down the line without any explanation, it is completely normal.

MummyAbroad - I did recognise your name, good luck on the TTC front this week. Would like to say I will be thinking of you but then that would just be so wrong Grin

Getdown - Huge congratulations, I haven't read up about your background situation yet but am very pleased for you.

Hadrian - Christmas Eve Sad what a truly awful way to spend Christmas. I read a little about your sis-in-law, it hurts doesn't it? I love my cousin dearly and she has been fab and understanding but it still doesn't help me feeling horrible stabs of envy Sad

Ladybee - you need to make the most of the lack of symptoms because they may just come along when you least expect them! I know what you mean though, at least with symptoms you can feel your hormones doing what they are suppose to.

Hello to everyone else - I am sorry but have totally forgot what/who I read about now, this thread is quick!!

Oh and what is Asherman's?

DachshundsWantPuppies · 10/01/2011 10:03

morning people!

orange Not sure whether it was the bedding but something worked. Not as well as I would have liked but at least they've started growing - they need to be 18mm, they were 10/11mm - now some of them are 18mm but most of them are 14 - 16mm so the egg collection will probably be on Friday...

At least there are more of them than last IVF cycle so hopefully that bodes well for my chances. I'm still feeling a little pessimistic given that the doctor said my eggs were poor quality but at least if there are more of them I must have more of a chance?...

Am trying to harness zen and stay relaxed.

KnitterNotTwitter · 10/01/2011 10:05

Getdown meant to say how pleased I am for you!!

Dachs. Yeeeeeaaaahhh so pleased they had a growth spurt. I think we need to each have a minute's positive growth thoughts for Dachs follicles to push them over the line for Friday. Straight back to bed for you young lady!!!

Nix very good preggers symptom to react to a curry!

Bugger knitter - also yuck not to have your partner in crime on the wait with you. The 2ww is soooo long - I am trying for silver lining thoughts that this means I am effectively having a longer life!
