Can i just say Terrys that you can only change your chart name if you have VIP. Some of us are too tight can't afford it!
Sorry - when you're stalking me in the next few weeks, I'll keep posting a link! Grin

OP posts:
ravenlocks · 13/01/2011 20:07

Wooo mrsp, looks like a pg chart to me.

Updated the URL terrys!

ravenlocks' chart

jaggythistle · 13/01/2011 21:15

done

:)

digitalgirl · 13/01/2011 21:26

Both ravenlock's and MrsP's charts looking good.

spilt yes ff has agreed with my hunch at cd12. I thought about whether I'm yet to ov, but cramping today was so reminiscent of pre-af cramps that I'm pretty convinced I'm in the luteal phase. I'm continuing to check my cervix just in case. I think stopping the agnus castus and not having as much acupuncture as I used to has really exposed how haywire my hormones are. Pre-mc my post ov temps used to be over 36.4, but now they're barely reaching 36.2. But my pre-ov temps are also a lot lower than they used to be too.

I have felt exhausted, dizzy and crampy all day. If I wasn't only on cd16 I'd be absolutely convinced AF was about to turn up.

batteryhen · 13/01/2011 21:38

my chart
I hope this has worked :)

Think I might have cross hairs tomorrow.

To all asking about BBT thermometers - it says 'lo' before you put it in your mouth as it can't read a temperature. It doesn't mean it has a low battery.

Sorry not to name check, just back from zumba and tired out :)

tory79 · 13/01/2011 21:41

OMG ravenlocks I am seriously impressed with how many times you have dtd this month! You deserve success!

Truffkin · 13/01/2011 22:28

Terrys I am massively impressed with two things 1) your neighbour harassing SWI Grin and 2) your thorough chart stalking activity! I think my URL already ends with my MN user name so hopefully that should aid your stalking!

Ravenlocks 10/10 for effort with the SWI this month! You will certainly have earned your BFP so FX for you.

MrsP your chart is wonderful, definitely looks like this is your month!

Spilt your days sound grim at the moment, although of course I know all in a good cause. Seriously though, I hope you get some relief in a few weeks once the placenta takes over otherwise you'll be a wreck. (((hugs)))

Battery thanks for the BBT explanation. I have the Boots one as well and wondered why it did that! When I bought it, I had gone to Boot at Liverpool Street in my lunch hour because I am impatient and it was about £15 as part of the 'kit' (which included a paper diary that I have never used) and I saw the exact same one that weekend in my local Boots, reduced to £3!!! I was quite annoyed as I am sure you can imagine!

I'm not really sure what my chart is doing and I have nothing resembling a symptom Sad at the moment. It will all pan out in the next week though so for now I can hope.

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 14/01/2011 01:19

Hi to all you familiar & new charters. I'm just quickly popping back to ask if you can save me a seat ower here as I'll be joining you lovely ladies again soon. Unfortunatley, I found out today that my 11 week pregnancy is no more than an empty sac :( I've had a good cry, and I think I've accepted it a bit easier than with my first MC as I was prepared for the worst from day one! I need to dig out and dust off the ol' BBT and get myslef signed back up to fertilty friend - seems like such hard work, but hey, as my nickname suggests................................... "If At First you don't succeed......." Love to you all xx

MrsP81 · 14/01/2011 07:18

If, I'm so sorry to hear your news. Sad Hugs to you.

My chart is no longer looking so good. I know temps can't keep going up forever but thats a fairly big drop. I think its all over.Sad

tory79 · 14/01/2011 07:41

If how sad for you. You sound incredibly positive about it though xxxxx

MrsP that is quite a drop, although as everyone says, it ain't over til af actually darkens your door. Are you feeling af'y at all? My temp dipped back down again today, and my back has started aching, so I think today will be the day for me.

xxx

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 14/01/2011 07:46

Oh MrsP so soory your temp dropped. It's not over yet as you're not below coverline but it's not looking so good. That's what I hate about temping - the last few days of lp gives such highs and lows.

and If I'm so sorry that you'll be back joining us. Hugs.

I've had a v low temp today, despite getting up at 5.50 to see to DD. No EWCM so not ov yet.

OP posts:
Truffkin · 14/01/2011 08:27

IfA so sorry to hear your update (((hugs)))

MrsP ditto from me (sorry to feul the fire!) but you're not out until your period actually arrives!

My temp went slightly up again today so I'm officially Confused and still not the merest sniff of a symptom!

GetDownYouWillFall · 14/01/2011 08:57

Ifatfirst Sad how heartbreaking Sad I am so so sorry. Did you carry on having symptoms up until the scan? It is so unfair. Well done for being accepting and willing to try again though.

MrsP sorry your temp has gone down a bit but an individual temp doesn;t actually mean all that much. Hopefully it will be up again tomorrow.

Very impressed with all the chart stalking going on! And how on earth did jaggythistle get that little fish at the top of her chart??!! Grin WOW!

I'm going to do another test on sunday, as this will be the 5 week mark - the point at which I MC'd last time. So hoping it will be good and dark and give me a bit of reassurance. Still not feeling sick, but got sore boobs so hoping it's ok.

Good luck to all waiting to ov, and those in the 2ww!

TerrysNo2 · 14/01/2011 09:20

IfatFirst I am so so Sad for you and sending you lots of hugs. Is it your second MC? We're here for charting advice when you're good and ready. xxx

MrsP sorry for temp drop, FX its an anomaly, it ain't over till the red lady arrives!

Sorry for short one but got to get ready for toddler group!

batteryhen · 14/01/2011 09:37

if - Hugs to you my lovley, to get that far along is cruel - I know how you feel, but well done for being positive, look to the future - you will get your baby xx

mrsp yes it is a big drop but a one off drop means nothing. You are still in the running xx

terrys I am seriously impressed at your stalking skills. I have added all our charts to my favs so I too can stalk more easily :)

DP is home tonight Grin - FF says I ov on Tuesday so lets hope I had enough swimmers from the weekend.

I have a day off today - am off to get a wax (ouch) and have my hair cut (lovely)

Have a good day all xx

Iwish · 14/01/2011 11:56

if I'm so sorry hun ((hugs)). Glad you are so positive though x

mrsp hope the temp drop doesn't mean anything and fx for a bfp for you :)

Ooh battery a wax, you are brave!

Cd15 for me and got a darker opk today (lighter than control line) which also happened last cycle and I OV'd the day after so fx I OV tomorrow. Going out with the girls tonight so will make sure we fit in some SWI when I get home and lots tomorrow and Sunday.

franjam · 14/01/2011 12:08

Ifatfirst - I'm so sorry to hear what happened, I have every faith that you will be successful next cycle Smile

mrsp - I know a temp drop is disappointing but hang on until tomorrow when FX it will go back up!!

terrys - hope you've had fun at the toddler group!

battery - have a lovely day and enjoy your wax Grin

And a big hello and TFI Friday to everyone else Grin Grin!!!!!!

I am 9DPO and in my last cycle this was the day that my temp started dropping but FX this morning it rose....I know it doesn't necessarily mean anything as it could just as easily drop tomorrow but I'm finding it hard not to get my hopes up. I even text DP and said that if my temp is still up tomorrow then I'll POAS...tut tut! AF is not due till Monday so would testing tomorrow be too early?! It's only a cheapy test that I've got....that's my way of justifying it Grin

Karbea · 14/01/2011 12:19

Hello,

We started TTC last month for our first baby. I've decided this month to start charting, but i don't know how...

Please can you give me a quick intro. I'm on CD2 and i've been measuring my temp when I wake up for the last three days. Is there anything else I need to do?

Sorry new to all this Smile thanks for your help xx

jaggythistle · 14/01/2011 13:01

getdown there's a homepage option to add a ticker. I've actually had it there since last time ttc 2 years ago! there are numerous options for backgrounds and stuff.

batteryhen · 14/01/2011 13:15

karbeawelcome to our lovely thread :) The best thing to do for charting tips is to have a look of fertilityfriend.com.Most of us chart on there - and then we can stalk look at each others charts if you want to.

You don't have to join but there are charting lessons on there and you can find out most of what you need. Good luck but ask any questions you need to.

I have just got back from my wax. Dear god alive. That lady has seen parts of me that the gynae dr doesn't know exists. Honestly when she says 'there are some stray hairs at the back so if you just pull your knee up to your nose....' and then disappears with a pair of tweezers. Makes me very Shock and Blush xx

Iwish · 14/01/2011 13:49

Haha battery!! you made me laugh with 'disappears with a pair of tweezers'!
Good ol razor will do for me. Had a wax once and wasn't my cup of tea, ouch!!

TerrysNo2 · 14/01/2011 13:56

karbea welcome Grin

OK, charting, here's what I do:

  • set up Fertility Friend account, I think you get free VIP for a bit. Here is my chart (I think if you sign up after looking at my chart, then I get a few free VIP days, that would be nice! Smile
  • take temp with BBT at the same time on each day, should be after at least 3 hours consecutive sleep. Make sure you take temp before getting up or doing anything, literally, roll over and take while still lying down.
  • check your cervical mucus, it is just as lovely as it sounds Hmm but its very useful. Look here for a CM overview.
  • If you want to, and can, check your cervix, I do this in the morning in the shower as its clean and easy (its good to check at the same time each day).
  • use OPK's These ones at the top of the page are the ones I used and they work for me.
  • Record all that info and any other symptoms onto FF. You can also go back and put in any info you have from previous cycles which will help with an overall picture.

Hope that helps!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 14/01/2011 14:23

Karbea welcome from me too. Terrys has been so helpful and put lots of info for you. Have a read and get back to us with qns.

I remember how exciting it was to start ttc and I hope you won't be with us long (in the nicest was of course!)

I've been ttc No2 for 5 months now. . Bit down today, no reason, just surrounded by tales of newborns atm.
Hey ho.
