Morning MrsA! I have just updated and my temp has risen again. I decided to POAS and still BFN. Argh!

I reckon you've cracked it MrsP.

I'll have a look later but there are stats on how many DPO people get there BFP at. I think even at 14DPO only about 65% of people get their BFP even though they are pregnant so I wouldn't lose hope.

What was it I was saying about well rested = less nauseous? Had a crap night's sleep, knackered and started the day with violent puking. My insides hurt

Not really. I have been putting the therm in my cheek. I blame sleepiness. Just occured to me one day. When I put it under tongue it temp is higher.

Morning all! Quick question about the thermometer.....is it OK to change the battery or will it affect the temps? I'm 8DPO and the BBT is flashing 'Lo'....grrrr....talk about timing!!!

Just checking in - Ooooh MrsP those temps are up again! Looking at your last cycle they were definitely on a downward slide by now, so hopefully this time will be the one! Annoying about the BFN, but as others have said it can take a while to show up.

As for me, the sickness seems to have gone but I accidentally took my temp again today and they are up again - yay! So trying not to read too much into the lack of symptoms.

Sorry you're feeling rough spilt - I think a day off in these circumstances is perfectly justified. Have you told anyone at work??

folicacid re. orally meaning in your ear!! Ha ha ha! But inside your cheek is prob ok if you did it consistently, but agree that under your tongue is better!

franjam not sure re. the changing the battery. My one is from boots at it's sealed. I read in the instructions you can't change the battery so when it dies you just have to get a new one. However, been using mine for over 3 years now and still going strong!!

mrsP oh looking good!!! And with DD I didn't get bfp until cd42. Assuming I ov about cd25 or 26 that's 17 or18 dpo. Just depends on how your body reacts. Good luck!

No change for me. Cd 14 and no EWCM. Perfectly normal. Could be another week or more yet.

franjam what BBT do you have? I have the boots one and it always flashes up "lo" but its nothing to do with the battery, I don't think.

GetDown glad temps are up again, at least you will stop worrying for maybe half an hour!

folicacid yes, under the tongue is best, and I keep my mouth closed whilst heavy breathing through my nose!!

Right my chart stalking feedback:

MrsP go on temps not on test, you are still in the running! Temps are higher than ever on 13DPO!

AuntD your temps are back up again! Maybe the dip was implantation?

Truffkin temps back up and looking good, perhaps an implantation dip today!

Tory temps on the way back up!! When are you going to POAS?!!?!

PS - can I make a request to those who have not already done so, to make the chart stalking easier, on FF can you:

• go to "My home page"
• then "Home page settings"
• then at the very top of the page under "Your Charting Home Page Web Address" can you put your MN ID at the back rather than the code, its much easier then when you are stalking lots of charts!!

I am very annoyed this am, DS woke up at 5am and I jumped out of bed to go see him and forgot to temp, so took it after 1.5 hours sleep (when he woke again ) and it was 36.2 which is too high!! Now my chart is going to be messed up regarding OV which is frustrating! Cervix wasn't really soft today either so don't know if it might happen tomorrow?

Q when you get a +ve OPK do you do another one the next day as well or just stop?

Well temp went down a bit more this am but FF still sticking with OV on cd10. Will see what happens in the next few days.

Am v confused today. My last period was preceded by no cramping (just a bit of ov-twitching which made me think I'm might be attempting to ov again). Anyway, since Sunday I have had mild cramping, all very normal just after ov. But today is is accompanied by back ache, tiredness, dizziness and irritabililty. Which are all my usual pms symptoms. However, am only 4dpo so shouldn't be feeling like AF will be arriving tomorrow. And temp is dropping. In fact, chart isn't looking too great.
It's also too early for any PG symptoms so I know it's not that. Yet temp is dropping. I'm fearing a very short luteal phase. Next acupuncture appt is next Tuesday, hope it's not too late by then.

I know I know...it's too early to tell which way temps will go.

Lovely, thanks digi. I don't know much about your overall cycle but I would say that the drops aren't significant, and they are still quite near to the peak. Could there be other reasons for the symptoms?

Blardy hell - +ve OPK's are like buses, none for ages then three two at once! When do you reckon I will OV, today or tomorrow??

Terrys - I bought the BBT from Amazon - it has always flashed 'Lo' after showing the last temp taken when I switch it on, but it's started showing up as soon as I turn it on? I dunno, I'll wing it for the next few days and see what happens lol!!

Thanks GetDown and MrsP but I was very good and toddled off to work. Very glad to be home though now. My boss and colleague know so I don't have to explain my constant tardiness, snacking, white face and toilet lurking.

Hi all in light of the possible +ve opk yesterday have been SWIing busily! was -ve today but will carry on every other day I think. I am def having some cramps so think that might be a sign of ov possibly or just (TMI) poo pains!

I had to get out of bed before taking my temp as the pup was being sick, should I disregard the temp that I took?

I think this might be a silly question but after SWI does it matter if everything seems to come straight back out/down again?

My thermom flashes lo after it comes on too.

weimy try lying with a pillow under your bum after SWI for a while and it will stop it all coming back out, that's what I do anyway.
PMSL at poo pains! I get cramps from OV till af so you could v well have ov'd today but carry on anyway ;)

I just had a v faint line on an opk so hopefully in the next few days I will get a dark line and eventually OV! Woo! Last cycle I got a v light line then a dark line the day after but not as dark as the control line and ov'd the day after that. Hope that happens this time n I should OV Sunday which will be cd17 and FF can't stop telling me I've ov'd on cd10!

I know weimy I never got them till I came off the pill. They aren't like proper af cramps they are a little different. Still not particularly pleasant though.

Re my chart, I did have a temp rise, but am not sure what to make of it - 1. I woke up at 5 desparate for the loo and 2. In my other cycles I have had temp rises right before af is due. So its a bit hard to know what to think - right now my chart is following the same pattern as all the other months!

FF says to test on saturday, I definitely won't be testing tomorrow, if I get another high temp I might allow myself a moment of excitemen. I am going to hold out til Sunday if I can and if af hasn't arrived by then. I have felt vaguely crampy today so I do think she is probably on her way, stupid witch!!
