*GetDown stop temping, it won't make you feel better to know in advance, would be rubbish anyway. But two in a row is very unlikely so you don't have to worry either way!

ochaye · 10/01/2011 22:00

Flying post as I'm in getting ready for a trip tomorrow with my DD and didn't get home till late tonight. I just wanted to send some hugs to everyone who's feeling blue today. I hope it all gets a bit clearer over the next few days Terrys ... I've still no idea what's going on with me either. At the moment ... nothing!

Getdown - I've heard that about the liklihood of two MC's in a row being very uncommon. I'm sure it won't stop you worrying but will hopefully be a little bit of comfort. I also tend to get pretty bad insomnia when I'm pregnant and have found that if I force myself to get up and have a hot chocolate, it tends to send me back to sleep.

Yay auntiedoris - higher, higher!

AuntieDoris · 11/01/2011 06:24

Hmmmm... and down!!!

MrsP81 · 11/01/2011 07:13

AuntieDoris, check out my chart for this month. Its quite similar with the up down up down pattern.

And more importantly look at todays temp, it went up! MrsP's chart I haven't POAS yet though.

TerrysNo2 · 11/01/2011 07:31

Hmm, its definitely not a normal cycle I just hope that AF turns up soon or I do OV soon!! FX.

MrsP - POAS POAS POAS!!! Smile

Morning all!

Iwish · 11/01/2011 08:02

Morning all.

Sorry you bad a temp dip auntied

mrsp when are you going to POAS!!

Terrys I hope you OV soon. X

Please can someone take a look at my chart and tell me I havnt ov'd yet. Temps have gone up from cd10 to now cd12 and we haven't done hardly any BDing and it would be weirdly early!!

ochaye · 11/01/2011 08:12

Sorry auntiedoris ... I'm not very good at quiz games Sad.

Morning Terrys ... and everyone else. Just a flying visit again but couldn't resist checking how you were all doing!

MrsP81 · 11/01/2011 08:13

Just quickly wanted to let you know that I accidentally POAS and it was BFN. I promised myself I wouldn't because a similar thing happened a couple of cycles ago and it came to nothing but I clearly have no strength!

No POAS until at least Thursday now.

tory79 · 11/01/2011 08:42

MrsP I think we are same cycle day. Your chart looks much more promising than mine though, I am definitely on a downward slide now :(

it sucks

tory79 · 11/01/2011 08:42

PS pmsl at accidently poas Smile

TerrysNo2 · 11/01/2011 09:44

Hmmm, cervix higher than it has been since last time I OV-ed (I forgot how high it could get so been and changed all my previous "high" FF entries down to "medium"). FX this is a good sign!

MrsP don't give up yet!

Iwish · 11/01/2011 10:42

Forgot to add my chart I was moaning about!! here

Truffkin · 11/01/2011 10:57

Hi ladies, Battery and Terrys sorry this cycle is getting you down so much. I'm hoping things can sort themselves out so you know where you are. Terrys my FX too!

As for the am / pm debate Grin I use the 12-12 rule as well so anything after midnight is am up to midday, but before midnight is pm.

my chart seems to be looking promising so far. I did allow myself a quick 'triphasic' thought this morning but have been here before with no BFP so am really trying to keep my hopes in check. Still a week to go before I would test and as always I'm hoping that AF arrives in good time if she's coming as I prefer that than a BFN.

I'm on my phone so will catch up properly later on. Just wanted yo pop in after being away at the weekend to see what everyone is up to!

TerrysNo2 · 11/01/2011 12:56

truffkin thats a nice big jump! FX for you.

I am feeling more optimistic, got EWCM and OPK is still -ve but line darker than it has been all month!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 11/01/2011 13:49

Hello to all! Work so busy atm so wish I could name check all.

Terrys hope you get back on track soon but give yourself a break too - your body needs time to recover and I'm sure things will work out in the end.

mrs P I'm stalking!

My chart is cd 12 so nothing to see really as I don't ov till cd 18 at least.
I have seen a much smoother chart though. Hoping the acupuncture is working!
I'm also popping pills!

Right, back to the grindstone. :)

Hello ladies...long-term charter ready to return to the conception boards.
So many newbies here since I last posted so I'll do a quick intro:
Am 32, have one ds (2.4) and have been ttc#2 since Aug 09. Have had 3 early mc's and am now having tests for recurrent mc. At my last appointment the doc was very reassuring and said that given my circumstances we still have a good chance of a successful pregnancy so we're back to TTC while we wait for the test results.

I normally have long cycles around 40 days long, but the last one was 28 days (if I count all the spotting I had as a weird post-mc period). Now this one is looking like I've ovulated quite early too. Feeling quite post-ov tbh and cervix is now closed.
chart here
I don't think I ovulated on CD8 at all. My tempy jump on CD9 might be because I'd slept in a warm hotel room. Although it's possible that I might have ov'ed on CD12. Am quite surprised that my temp was so low on CD12 as I was drinking heavily the night before, so theoretically it should be even lower. But I suppose time will tell.

Anyone charting post-mc - have you found your temp ranges have changed? My temps are much lower than they ever were. Not sure if it's the winter or whether it's me.

Belated congratulations to spilt and getdown. Hoping you're both ok and not fretting too much.

Waves to MrsA and batteryhen Smile

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 11/01/2011 17:04

Hi DG

Glad to see you back here. Let's hope 2011 will be everyone's lucky year.

My chart is very boring but I'm hoping it's looking better than previous cycles as it's definately much smoother.
The 2 previous days are out of step and have clear circles as Sunday I woke an hour later (most welcome, thanks DD) and yesterday I took my temps at 5.30 as I had to be up then for work :(
Am knackered today.
I have also noticed creamy CM much more than in previous cycles.

OP posts:
Iwish · 11/01/2011 18:04

MrsA your chart does look very smooth! Do you think the acupuncture will bring OV forward for you?
Cd12 here too and I'm hoping I havnt already OV'd, my temps have gone up today and yesterday but not much SWI yet!!

ravenlocks · 11/01/2011 21:17

Hi everyone, checking in and seeing how you are all getting on. Thanks getdown for your thoughts on my chart and reassurances. Been madly googling 'fallback rise'!

Looking good MrsP, pah to the BFN.

What a hike triffin!

Nice to meet you digitalgirl, think I recognise you from somewhere... Oh your chart is interesting, does look like CD8 from your chart but you are right to trust your instincts.

Do you have any symptoms tory?

Iwish your other signs are suggesting not, but would be really interested in your temp tomorrow. If still high you can bet you will get preliminary crosshairs. I can only see one other chart of yours but looks like large hikes around this time in your cycle might not be that unusual. I wouldn't be suprised if it isn't sustained and they come back down.

batteryhen · 11/01/2011 21:18

Evening all. digi its good to hear from you - I found that post mc cycles,my temps are all over the place, and my ov days used to be cd15 every month, but am on cd17 and no sign yet.
iwish see what your temp is tomorrow - if it goes up again ff may say you ov'd on cd10?
mrsa your chart is so smooth am very Envy. Mine looks like a mountain range :(

Hello to all out pregnant ladies, and all our newbies and all our not so newbies

I am feeling a bit more positive today, have changed my acupuncurist and am pleased to say this one told me all about charting, etc and was really focused on fertility which is good. Still no sign of OV - I really need to OV soon and hope some swimmers are left or I need to hold off until Friday when dp is home.

Interestingly my acc lady said if you want to delay OV you can take nurofen? She said she had not researched it but a fertility Dr had told her. I will have to have a look !! xx

tory79 · 11/01/2011 22:12

Raven no symptoms, and my chart seems to be following the same downwards pattern of my other cycles, so I think I am out of the game this month :(

tory79 · 11/01/2011 22:17

So really I am just hoping that af arrives quickly now, my last 2 lp's were 11 and 12, so I guess she will be here in a couple of days. Having said that, I've not really had any af symptoms yet either! So thats something to look forward to tomorrow I expect Hmm

Pippaandpolly · 11/01/2011 22:36

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. Lots of exciting looking charts around - love the idea of 'accidentally' POAS and am sure I'll be doing that within a couple of weeks. I always say I won't test till AF is due and I always buckle!

Tory79 - might it go back up? I don't know how temps work in early pregnancy - should it be up and up or are a few peaks and troughs normal? Fingers crossed for you anyhow.

My chart is finally showing crosshairs - woo! Though I'm a bit worried we stopped SWI one crucial day too soon...bah. what do you think?

tory79 · 11/01/2011 22:52

Lol Pippa, I remember when we first started ttc (well, it wasn't that long ago anyway Grin) but I just couldn't understand why on earth ANYONE would test until af was actually late, I mean, surely thats just silly, I would never do that............hmm, anyway......

You SWI day before ov which I think is the prime day, so I wouldn't worry too much.

Its not impossible that my temp could shoot up tomorrow I suppose, but this month is so similar to the others I just don't see it happening. Ho hum!

Tory xx

AuntieDoris · 12/01/2011 06:13

Well it's another drop for me today. I have a feeling that isn't great news.

I got really upset about it last night. Was going through all the 'what's ifs...

"what if I am too old?"
"what if there is something wrong with me?"
"what if it never happens?"
"what if I can't be a Mum?"

So I spent half an hour or so getting more and more upset. I don't want to hear about any more of my friends getting pregnant. I just want it to happen for me. Is that too much to ask?
