Hi ochaye welcome and thanks :) I know what you mean about the crazed woman thing, I think my craziness Is increasing every month lol!

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok. So hard to name check now there's loads of us xx

LadyGoneGaga · 08/01/2011 14:16

Congratulations, Getdown! Fab news! You know having no symptoms is a symptom! No PMS, see Grin

ochaye · 08/01/2011 15:51

I quite liked your use of "totally" jaggy Smile.

... so far I'm finding the pace of this thread a lot easier than the ttc after mc thread. I'm sure that could change!

Terry - the more I read, the more I suspect we could have a cycle without ov after our mc's. I'm kind of resigned to it but am charting out of interest. Don't give up hope yet though!

Ladybee · 08/01/2011 16:03

Just spotted GetDown's news! Fantastic job lady, well done. See? Each pg is different Smile

Am very Envy of your lovely high temps...mine are sinking which is make me very nervous. Still, nothing to be done about it so will just carry on as if everything's going to plan until I know otherwise.

MrsA you're over 35 so you may as well go to docs if it gets over 6 months, I'm over 35 too and if we hadn't succeeded this cycle, I had one more to go before heading there. I know its daunting to contemplate but actually I find getting the tests done reassuring and you keep on ttc while it's happening so nothing lost.

Tory drinking grapefruit juice did seem to work for producing more CM for me, don't know why but it does. Pink grapefruit juice is nicer than yellow btw.

Terrys it could just mean that the LH surge was quick and you missed the start and finish of it. Trust your chart more than the sticks.

Folicacid Low temps can indicate a thyroid problem, but they can also just be a normal variation from standard. Everyone's different. Do you have any other reason to suspect thyroid issues?

hi ochaye I hope this thread is lucky for you, I found charting after my MCs very helpful in feeling like I regained some knowledge (if not control) of my body.

tory79 · 08/01/2011 16:19

Ladybee I was trying to avoid grapefruit juice as I can't stand it Smile perhaps I could try the pink stuff though. So did you just drink it all the time or just around ov?

weimy · 08/01/2011 17:00

Hello again ochaye!

Congratulations Getdown!!!!!!!!

I took my temp before getting out of bed today :) was 96.4 is that high? Do you think that there being four large furry animals in bed with me that it will affect my temp? Should I try to kick the largest out?

(Largest is DH!)

weimy · 08/01/2011 17:00

Sorry 96.10

TerrysNo2 · 08/01/2011 19:00

Evening all - just wanted to share my latest blog post with you, its about my MC so thought you might be interested.

Now gotta do the last bit of my post! Wink

ochaye · 08/01/2011 19:33

Oh Terrys ... I've just had a look at your blog! How exciting!!! It's such a great way of keeping track of things for your wee boy. I have a friend who has a lovely blog with photos on it and so on ... you can go back and look at her posts when she was getting married etc. It's fab! I'm just not organised enough to do one myself Smile but love reading other peoples.

ochaye · 08/01/2011 19:34

Hi there weimy. I'm charting in degrees C so I'm not really sure about your temp. Think you should keep everyone in the bed though, especially in this weather!

nickstermum · 08/01/2011 20:36

sorry thought i had posted earlier, but mustnt have done it properly!!

GETDOWN I knew it!! Grin Grin Grin
Well done mucker thats fab news xxxx
feet up xx

Waves to all, proper catch up later, trying to get ds to sleep after we have been out for dinner :)xx

GetDownYouWillFall · 08/01/2011 21:26

Thanks so much ladies!!! LAdyBee you are absolutely right every pregnancy is different I didn't believe it until now. Boobs are still tiny Angry and not in the least bit sore! But oh well! Keep peeking at the test stick upstairs Blush Had to get DH to check there were actually two lines and I wasn't just seeing things. He freaked me out by saying "one line's a positive right?" Followed closely by "just kidding" Angry

Ladybee I really hope your temps start climbing soon, but they don't really mean that much and if they are stressing you out maybe stop temping for now?

Thanks nix you were right! I am feeling totally shattered - realising that getting up at 6am and too much excitement don't really agree with me!

hi to ochaye and welcome to this lovely thread Smile

Waves to weimy terrys tory folicacid spilt MrsP MrsA LadyGG Izzy Iwish jaggythistle and everyone else.

MrsP81 · 09/01/2011 08:48

Ladies, I am 9dpo and the suspense is killing me! Temps have not done anything exciting yet but for some reason I feel so hopeful this cycle. New year optimism maybe.

Welcome to ochaye and folicacid, nice to meet you.

Terrys I had a look at your blog, its cool, I love reading blogs. I'd quite like to do one but I'm not sure what to write about.

There are so many of us now!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 09/01/2011 09:05

Morning mrsP glad you're feeling hopeful, and I hope your instincts are correct!

Anyone else up yet? >

Well my temps have taken a slight dip here so I'm hoping I'm gearing up for ov today or tomorrow. However got my 6th high on the cbfm today (which is unusual - over the last few months i seem to have settled into a pattern of 3 highs before peak) so just hoping it's not going to turn out to be anovulatory or really late ov. Fx it heads up tomorrow!

jaggythistle · 09/01/2011 09:14

Me! At work actually - booo!

I'm only on CD4 so nothing at all to report.

Added an overlay of all my temps I have ever charted to my homepage when I was bored.

my page

Got pregnant last time the first month I did temps Shock so didn't get much practice!

TerrysNo2 · 09/01/2011 09:16

Morning all

MrsP patience patience Wink - I can preach but not practice!! Thanks for the nice comments re the blog. I have no idea what to write usually so its only if a topic springs to mind.

Izzy I hope you OV soon!

Well I haven't had a +ve OPKs but other signs (cervix HSO, EWCM, OV pains) have been there and now my cervix is low, hard and firm again. If I am going to OV this cycle I guess that's it BUT - temp not very high today and def not above the coverline (although did have a rubbish nights sleep and took it after 1 hour of sleep 1 hour than earlier!). Confused

Chart here

ochaye · 09/01/2011 09:30

Terrys - your hilarious! I think patience is exactly what you need Smile.

I'm not an expert and don't know much about the other signs but I think there's a good chance you could still ov. How many days did your mc take to complete? I bled for at least 3 days longer than normal so am expecting everything to be a few days out. Looking at your chart you're bang on your usual ov time so I would give it a few more days before you give up.

GetDownYouWillFall · 09/01/2011 10:04

Ooooh MrsP!! 9DPO? I will be stalking your chart! Hope this is your month. It's great you are feeling optimistic Smile

Izzy hope you ov very soon!

Jaggy that's pants you are having to work today, hope it goes quickly! Thanks BTW for saying you like my name Smile forgot to mention that yesterday. It was just something I seemed to say 100,000 times a day when DD was 18 months old!! Grin So it kind of stuck in my head!

terrys I think the rule is "anything goes" in the WTF cycle so don't panic if your body doesn't play by the rules this cycle. I think most people on here have had weird cycle after MC. The cycle after should be more normal. But some people have got preg the cycle after MC so don't give up hope yet!!

Morning to ochaye

I'm feeling really sick Envy

jaggythistle · 09/01/2011 10:19

GetDown

My DS is 15 months old and is just starting to figure out climbing...I expect it will be in my vocabulary a lot soon. He needs a leg up to get on the couch at the moment though Grin

Off for two days after this so not too bad... roll on finishing time!

TerrysNo2 · 09/01/2011 11:21

ochaye with my MC I bled for 5 days but pretty light throughout, my periods are usually 4 days but heavier. Who knows!!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 09/01/2011 11:29

jaggy it will definitely become an everyday part of your vocab!! I remember coming down from the toilet one day to see ds (aged about 17 mths) - who had previously shown no inclination for climbing - stood bolt upright on the dining table, looking soooo pleased with himself! I think after that getdownyouwillfall became our mantra for a while...

mrsP where's your chart?! [too lazy to scroll back emoticon - must bookmark everyone later!]

terrys you may well be coming up to ov soon, but try not to stress about it this month, since there is every chance your cycle just won't play by the rules x

getdown hope you're not feeling too sick (although I imagine having some symptoms is fairly reassuring right now!)

spilttheteaagain · 09/01/2011 11:53

GetDown Sad sorry it's got you so fast! The sickness is horrid. My lifesaver this time round has been orange juice. I find that the sickness is definitely linked to blood sugar and if I get too hungry it gets a lot worse. OJ gets sugar back into you very quickly so I'm always clasping a glass whilst making myself some food! Also being acidic it's seems to sit better in my stomach.

Hope you manage to learn to manage it quickly!

MrsP81 · 09/01/2011 14:33

Here is my chart izzy and anybody else who wants to stalk it. Smile

Sorry you're feeling sick already getdown. I imagine its quite reassuring to have a symptom though. Smile

And Terrys, I am the same. I'm good at telling people to be patient but when it's my turn I'm completely useless!

Iwish · 09/01/2011 15:49

mrsp I will be stalking you! :)

getdown sorry you feel sick, it is a nice symptom though :)
