Congratulations Ladybee!

No Terrys I can't believe it is still not giving me crosshairs! At this rate AF is going to arrive before its made its mind up!! I think my high temp today was because I am ill again though, so am beginning to think I will just ignore my chart for this month.

Pippaandpolly · 05/01/2011 17:37

Congratulations Ladybee! What a lovely start to the New Year :)

I'm giving up hope this month. Aside from looking like the Alps, my temps don't seem to be rising at all. I'm on CD1000. :( Any thoughts? my chart here I've also had ewcm for aaaages so I keep thinking the temp's going to go up and then it keeps not. Argh.

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 17:40

No don't give up pippaandpolly!! It looks like your body is gearing up for ov. Do you know when you normally ov?

I ov'd on CD26 this cycle, and like you had patches of EWCM for quite a few days in the run up to it. I was starting to get really fed up too, but then it happened. You are only on CD21!!

ravenlocks · 05/01/2011 17:40

Brill news Ladybee congratulations! I thought by the look of your chart that might be the outcome for you this cycle.

Smile
IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 05/01/2011 17:43

Just a quickie in between swimming lessons and spellings to say whoop! (again!) for ladybee Grin Grin Grin and to say getdown your chart looks really promising!!!

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 17:45

Aww thanks Izzy I really hope so....

weimy · 05/01/2011 17:47

Congrats Ladybee!

I have set up a chart but am on day 5 and my sticks and thermometer have not arrived yet
:( But I will fill it it once stuff arrives anyway :)

ravenlocks · 05/01/2011 18:03

getdown had a peek at your chart and agree with nix that it looks like it could be triphasic. Fingers crossed!!

Pippaandpolly · 05/01/2011 18:09

Thanks Getdown - it just seems a bit late! My longest ever cycle was 35 days but it's normally 30 or 31 - I suppose I'm worried that if I do ovulate now I am very likely to have a v short lp...or maybe I'm just going to have a super long cycle this month, who knows! Your chart looks very promising though...fingers crossed for you!

weimy · 05/01/2011 18:57

Hi Guys I don't understand how to put info on the charts? Can any one explain it simply? Confused

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 19:01

thanks everyone, do you know what though I still don't FEEL pregnant, I really don't have any symptoms at all apart from occasional cramps (can't remember if I got these prior to TTC or not!!)

weimy you need to click on "Enter Data" if you enter your periods then it starts a new chart for every day 1. You can enter your temps and CM data etc. here too.

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 19:03

pippaandpolly your LP remains fairly constant (give or take a day) - ovulating late doesn't give you a shorter LP/

Our bodies can be quite tricky can't they? Mine were settling down into a pattern of ov around CD16, then I started TTC and suddenly they are very looooooooooong again! So frustrating. It's like my body just doesn't want to play!

spilttheteaagain · 05/01/2011 19:06

LadyBee GrinGrinGrin
Congratulations!! Lovely news.

GetDown I am hopeful for you, it looks good. Everything crossed. Thanks for the tips, I have geekily bookmarked most of you now!

Thanks terrys, it was a bit of a battle today though. Just felt crap all day. I was violently sick at home this morning and had to spend about half an hour mid morning hanging over the work loos gagging horribly. Bastard things weren't all that clean which was yuck Angry
How are you feeling?

Welcome bisquits

nickstermum · 05/01/2011 19:07

pippa I have had a cd24 ov before, sometimes it happens. The more you stress about it, the more chance there is of delaying ov... thats what i told myself... and the following month it came back down to 19/20 :)

nickstermum · 05/01/2011 19:09

Oh spilt what on earth did you do in a previous lifetime to have to hang around filty toilets, head first?!?!?! Bleurgh!
I have a phobia of mucky loos... squat and wiggle always...or vomit from afar Grin Grin

spilttheteaagain · 05/01/2011 19:12

Grin Nix I must have been very bad!!

franjam · 05/01/2011 19:38

Hello again everyone - I haven't been on here for a while, things were pretty hectic over xmas and new year!

Congrats to those of you that have had BFP's while I've been absent - I'm so pleased for you!! GrinSmile

I'm after a quick opinion (or 5!) on my chart for this month - I'm convinced that the massive spike was due to getting a wee bit drunk on NYE but FF seems to think that's when I ovulated....and my temps seem to be coming right back down again...??? Sod's law that I've also come down with a stinking cold and that happened the same time last month around the time of ovulation....Confused

Let me know what you think : www.fertilityfriend.com/home/324da9

MrsP81 · 05/01/2011 19:39

Just popping in to say congratulations to Ladybee! Grin I saw your temp rise this morning and was very excited about what your news would be.

I think your chart looks very good at the moment too getdown. I know what you mean about looking for symptoms that you've experienced on previous pgs, but then I have to remind myself that when I was pg and had sore boobs it ended in mc. So maybe with a good sticky one I wouldn't get sore boobs IYSWIM? Easy for me to say now but in a few days I bet I'll be exactly the same!

I'm absolutely knackered and feel like crap today. Its too early to pretend it might be a symptom, so I think its just a reaction to going back to work!

batteryhen · 05/01/2011 19:42

Ladybee soooooooooooo pleased for you :) I may even have to do my chicken dance with pom poms in your honour :)

Nothing happening her, I have started with some cm so am glad I am off to see DP on Friday. I have had achey low abdo pain all day - surely this can't be ov pain already - am not due to ov until sunday??

My temp was up abit this morning, but had a restless night filled with rude dreams Blush. And not about dp either Blush. Felt fab when I woke up Grin. Told DP and he said muttered something about being a 'scarlett woman'Grin
Sorry not to name check but am going to collapse on the sofa with the crippled cat xx

MrsP81 · 05/01/2011 19:50

Hi franjam. FF isn't sure cos its put in dotted lines. I don't think you've ovd - have you tried discarding that high temp to see if it changes its mind? I had a similar problem this month too with some drinking and long lie ins. Smile

franjam · 05/01/2011 20:02

Hi MrsP, thanks for your response Smile

I have discarded the temp for that day and it has taken the crosshairs off so doesn't look like I've ov'd....we'll see what the thermometer says in the morning Grin
It's so frustrating!!!!!!

Pippaandpolly · 05/01/2011 20:18

Get down-I know, I'm just driving myself crazy by working off past cycles and figuring it's unlikely to be longer than 31ish which would mean lp is short. It's my first month charting so I don't know when I ovulate and am assuming this month is 'normal'-and therefore normal is bad. Do you know what I mean? However there's no reason for me to assume anything so I should prob just forget about it (hah!) and see what happens. I have a v bad habit of imagining and assuming the worst!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 05/01/2011 21:21

Pippa try not to worry. before i started charting in June, my cycles were generally about 28-32 days but occasionally 36/37. When i conceived DD, it was after 12m months and i didn't know about charting. What it seems now is that i didn't realise that i often ov late and so completely mis-timed SWI.

In short (!) I ov anytime between cd18 and 27, however my LP is always 11 or 12 days so it shouldn't affect my chances I hope. It shouldn't matter if you ov late, as long as you get a temp shift.

And as others have found, once I started TTC No2, my cycles started to increase in length meaning I was worrying about SWI!

You can't win so try not to worry.
