Sorry for my plebian ways!

spilttheteaagain · 04/01/2011 19:26

Evening girlies,

I have been reading but feeling a bit of a lazy bum for the last couple of days and hence not posting.

GetDown why are you not hopeful? Your chart looks really good to me.

Tory my guess would be CD15. I'm not sure why FF hasn't picked up anything as you've got a very clear temp rise. Unless of course you're still ill now and marking the current temps as illness? Sorry you've been unwell, hope you're on the mend.

MrsA sorry to hear about MrA's work. What a crappy year start.

I was GUTTED to go back to work today. I nearly wept when it started snowing yesterday afternoon - I hate driving in the wretched stuff! I told my boss and colleague about the bean (early days I know but the nature of my job means I have to tell them). They were very congratulatory but concerned for me too as they know what happened last time and about the toxoplasma too. I completely can't be arsed with the restructuring/redundancies/fight for a job stuff going on at work this month. It's enough of a challenge getting up, driving in, battling the nausea and not falling asleep/crying with tiredness. I wish I knew this little one would stick because if it will then they can keep their job! But if it's going to come unstuck I need to try and keep a job. Ho hum.

Hello to everyone else - Truff nice to see you back x

tory79 · 04/01/2011 19:33

Thanks Spilt - I thought day 15 or 16, and if I change the detection method to the opk one then it says day 15. The last day I recorded a temp as fever was the 29th, and its been ok since then (ie my thermometer wasn't beeping wildly at me telling me my temp was too high and I've generally been on the mend!!)

I am better now....ooh just in time to go back to work today - marvellous!

GetDownYouWillFall · 04/01/2011 19:46

Oh spilt you sound just like me!! I went back to work today too and it's hideous there at the moment with all the redundancy talk and restructurings!! I just soooo want to be out of there! Also I am so obsessed focused on wanting to be pregnant that I can't really concentrate on work Blush Really bad I know.

I also hate driving in the snow and am terrified of having an accident. Thankfully there was no snow around here today. I feel for you.

Do you really think so about my chart?? I know we timed it right, but I just don't FEEL pregnant.... last time (MC cycle) I'm pretty sure implantation happened on 7DPO as I felt definite sharp crampy pains and had sore boobs from the next day.

I haven't felt anything implantation wise and my boobs are not in the slightest bit sore Sad so just don't think I can be. But who knows? Implantation can happen late sometimes, can't it?

tory79 hi there! I would say CD16 as it's the day after your positive OPK. Maybe FF just needs a day or two more high temps to put in the crosshairs! Good luck!

nickstermum · 04/01/2011 19:49

Tory i would say 15 also, but these guys are lots more experienced than i!

Work was rubbish today....:( hate being back all stressy!!! Spilt now you have told them about the bean, you are a little more protected in terms of redundancy. no reputable company likes to touch a pg lady (she says!!!)

bee any POAS action yet?!

spilttheteaagain · 04/01/2011 20:49

That's the bugger of it Nix - I would like the redundancy!

GetDown I know just what you mean. I haven't concentrated much at work since stopping the pill in Feb... it's all been ttc/pg/babyloss in my head. Fortunately I can do my job standing on my head so I don't think it's been noticed and I got a great review in December Grin

Thank the Lord the snow disappeared by home time so it was a normal drive back. Now it better stay gone!

I think implantation is commonly around 9-10DPO and can be earlier or later. Only you know what you feel like when pregnant. I've never felt any implanting, just period pains/dragging feelings from about 10DPO to 7 weeks. I just looked at your chart and saw your temps are all lovely and high still so there's definitely hope. I do hope this is it for you, especially because I know you were worried about a winter birth.

GetDownYouWillFall · 04/01/2011 20:54

Thanks spilt I hope so. You've given me a bit of hope re. implantation commonly being around 9-10DPO. Let's hope!!

Like you, I would just quite like redundancy now. Don't particularly love my job and would really quite like to get out!

Thanks too re your thoughtful words re. winter birth. DD was a december baby and I ended up with dreadful PND (was hospitalised in a mother and baby unit for 3 months Sad) so was really hoping for a summer baby this time - My MC baby was due on June 29th so would have been just perfect Sad Ah well. I would be happy with another baby whenever he or she arrives.

nickstermum · 04/01/2011 21:11

forget redundancy, i would just like to not have to work! Wishing my dh would win the lottery or something...Confused

Bisquits · 04/01/2011 21:22

Oh yes...win the lottery and have a very early retirement. That sounds fab! I'd be a lady wot lunches Grin

Well still can't start charting as no AF. POAS lunchtime despite vowing I wouldn't - BFN. Just gonna be a rogue month I guess.

I know with charting you're meant to take your temp before rising, but I really don't want DH to know I'm charting for now. He feels it's too clinical and doesn't want to add to the pressure. He has a point but I want to check I'm ovulating and thought charting might give me a clue. Would it matter too much if I went to the bathroom and took my temp do you think? Sorry if that's a dumb question Blush

PS Yes I do like Fox's biscuits Grin

Ladybee · 04/01/2011 22:41

Temps are still up, so I'll be POAS tomorrow morning, cross fingers for me ladies.

Bisquits I think that if you consistently got up, sat on loo and took your temp every time, then it would give you a consistent enough pattern.

tory I'd say day 15. Hope you're feeling better now.

Sorry for short post - just did a massive catch up on another thread and am heading to bed. Will let you know any news (good or bad) tomorrow

Bisquits · 04/01/2011 22:46

Fingers crossed for you Smile

batteryhen · 05/01/2011 06:33

morning. Tory I would say 15 as it is the day before your thermal shift.

I want to win the lottery too. These early mornings are a killer, especially being so dark.

ladybee what news?????

Off to work, have a good day everyone xx

spilttheteaagain · 05/01/2011 07:24

Ladybee your chart looks very good! Any news?

Ladybee · 05/01/2011 07:48

Well my temps went up again today and at 14dpo I got a definite +ve test on First Response Grin

I'm v pleased but do feel quite daunted about the road ahead - I have to call consultant to get scan & injections sorted. Fortunately today is my day off so I can get head around it and make calls frommhome. Right now I feel like hiding under the covers.

Iwish · 05/01/2011 08:00

Congrats ladybee that's fab news Grin x

LadyGoneGaga · 05/01/2011 08:24

Oooh Congratulations, Ladybee. I know it's scary but sounds like you're getting the best care. Fingers crossed for a sticky one this time xxx

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 08:48

Congrats Ladybee~!! Smile

here's my chart at 10DPO

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 05/01/2011 09:12

Oh congrats LadyBee that's fab news. Here's hoping all goes well and pass on those pg vibes Grin!!

My [[http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2fdc80
chart is here]]
Nothing to report cd6 but am pleased that my early days temps appear quite static, which is what the acupuncturist said we were aiming for.

Another rise Getdown. You're on cd10, so when you thinking of testing? Your charts look like your LP is about 14?

have a good day all and Ladybee don't panic!!! :)

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 05/01/2011 09:38

Congratulations Ladybee!!! Why are you seeing a consultant? Sorry if I should know this!

GetDown your chart is looking very different to last month, nice steady rise!! I am getting excited for you!

MrsA your link doesn't work properly!! Smile

battery maybe we should start an MN syndicate, I am well up for winning the lottery Grin.

tory I would echo the CD15/16, just checked out your chart again this am and I can't believe you don't have crosshairs yet?!!? You know one time on FF I didn't get crosshairs and I went in and checked all the other methods and then when I went back to advanced it had given me them, maybe its a glitch, because all the signs are there! Confused

Hope everyone has a good day at work, especially you spilt.

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 09:42

MrsA my LP is normally 12 days, with AF arriving on day 13.

Do you know what I don't feel the slightest bit pregnant Sad I really don't think I am Sad Don't know whether to bother testing TBH.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 05/01/2011 09:48

Bugger bollocks Ta terrys! Grin

here!

OP posts:
MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 05/01/2011 09:52

Ah Getdown take heart. Every pg is different. I had zero symptoms with DD apart from feeling af was arriving every 5 mins until about 18dpo when my boobs started to ache.
It won't help but I sympathise - so hard to not get hopes up but you don't want to in case temps drop. To me, it's the biggest downside of charting, you know when your period is coming before it's here. Sometimes ignorance is bliss.

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 09:54

thanks Mrsa that's just it - I can't get my hopes up as the disappointment is crushing. I don't know quite how I'm going to deal with it when AF turns up on Saturday Sad

nickstermum · 05/01/2011 10:10

Not going to do toooooo much whooping for BEE cos i have already done it on the ttc thread..... BUT WHHHHHOOOOOOPPPPP! Grin delightment fills my face!!

Ooh Getdown, thats looking a little triphaisic!! I cant view yours MRSA, i must be doing something wrong!

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/01/2011 13:16

Do you think so nix ???? This is torture Sad
