Hoping that all of us still waiting get the news we want and soon!!

At least it's almost New Year, new start Smile

OP posts:
IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 03/01/2011 10:50

terrys lovely to have you back x

getdown 8dpo is way too early to be worrying about lack of symptoms!!! Deep breaths, and try to think positive thoughts....

ladybee how's it looking today?

LadyGoneGaga · 03/01/2011 10:56

Hi Terrys my WTF cycle is here, second one down.

I basically ovulated about a week later than normal (taking first day of bleeding as cd1). My temps didn't really come down into a normal pre-ov range and then in luteal phase didn't really shoot up either so didn't look very biphasic despite having positive OPK's, EWCM, HSO cervix etc. And as Spilt says, LP only 7 days.

But the next cycle I settled back into my normal pattern and conceived so there is hope! The cycle where I conceived I immediately had much stronger symptoms and stronger lines on tests etc and generally felt a lot more pregnant - it's funny what our body "knows".

I hope you're doing ok, hon, and glad you're getting back to it. xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 03/01/2011 12:31

Oops nearly forgot to post my chart

terrys I didn't temp on my WTF but it lasted 30 days (fairly normal for me) and I had a normal AF afterwards. That was after erpc at 17 weeks but I got a bfn a week later.

GetDownYouWillFall · 03/01/2011 12:57

thanks Izzy I know you're right that 8DPO is way too early. Thanks, I have trying to do as you say and think positive. I know we timed it right this cycle, so know we've done everything we could. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen. Just need to chill out more.

It's just I will be disappointed if it doesn't happen this cycle - have been trying to avoid winter time for another baby, as I had really bad PND after DD (a december baby) and am sure the dark miserable cold days didn't help at all.

But I know you just can't be too choosy! I will be happy if and whenever another one comes along!

Waves to LadyG and spilt hope you are having good days.

ravenlocks · 03/01/2011 15:59

Welcome back terrys, really good to see you back in the saddle.

I have added my other charts onto my home page, this is only my 4th with temping and I took a bit of a break for a couple of months as thought I was borderline obsessive and you know when people tell you to just relax and not try so hard and it will happen? Will I did and it, erm, didn't! So I got back into temping in Nov.

Yes, we have been SWI'ing everyday and did do twice on one day - think DH was feeling a bit 'merry' that day!! Smile But I haven't had a positive OPK yet and I think we might be beginning to flag - ooppps!

I am supposed to be taking down the Xmas decorations. Does eating my way through the Quality Street that are dotted about in little bowls count?? They are kind of decorations afterall and I am removing them, one by one!

Bisquits · 03/01/2011 16:20

I'm reading this thread with interest. Good luck ladies.

I'm on CD21, UCL21, BFN on CD18 and CD20. I think I ovulated early, about CD7/8 but can't be sure.

Got very sore boobs, and they have been for days now, and very teary. Probably all due to AF being on her way. Just thought I'd join you for some hand holding. Gonna start charting next month I think.

nickstermum · 03/01/2011 16:59

terrys good to have you back hon, how fantastic your body has got back to normal so quickly.. if ever there was a silver lining huh?! You sound so upbeat, well done Grin

My WTF after nat mc at 12 weeks was i think about 5 weeks long, cant quite remember,.. put it this way i mc 8th Aug, started to bleed 2 days later, then conceived this pg cd1 /october 26th and it was only the second cycle post MC! My wtf i dont think i ov'd but then body was all over the place, whereas yours has seemed to get back to normal quite quickly :) I so so hope you catch the egg vrey very soonx xx

MrsP81 · 03/01/2011 17:07

Lovely to have you back Terrys. I wasn?t charting on my WTF cycle but it was about usual length if I remember correctly. My friend conceived straight away after her mc so there is definitely hope.

battery, sorry you?re feeling down. Hopefully the time until you visit will fly by.

iwish, hope you?re DP?s nana is ok.

There must have been something in the air that day raven because we managed more than one SWI too!

Chart is looking good ladybee Smile

I?m now in the 2ww so here is my chart for any potential stalkers!

Hi to getdown, nix, spilt, izzy and anyone else I?ve missed.

batteryhen · 03/01/2011 17:29

Hello all :)
Thanks for the lovely messages. I feel better now - and I am seeing DP on friday in time for OV so fingers crossed!
bisquits welcome to our little home :) it is sounding hopeful that you get a bfp!
terrys my wtf was about a week longer than my normal cycle. I counted my erpc as day 1 and then ovulated on day 23 (3 weeks after the op) I then had my first period 2 weeks after that. So from erpc to period was 5 weeks exactly. Good luck :) xx
mrsp - so you are now in the 2ww.... I send you lots of patience vibes - I have no patience in the 2ww!
raven because me and dp see each other infrequenly we often SWI twice a day - especially at my OV point. I often come back from germany with cystitis Blush - but you know a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do ... Wink
getdown I know what you mean about timing it right. I know we timed it right last cycle and still nothing. I try and relax about it too but it is hard.

Work tomorrow - I think it is harder as I should have been finishing for matt leave in March - rubbish.
However, moving on I have been swigging grapefruit juice and munching on brazil nuts (where's the harm??)

I have a question for all the stalkers - how do you find everyones charts? Do you scroll back or save them somewhere? I want to stalk too but never can find anyones charts??

ravenlocks · 03/01/2011 17:34

Good luck bisquits, you testing tmorrow if AF doesn't arrive?

Bisquits · 03/01/2011 17:52

Thanks for the welcome Smile

I'm going to wait until Wed/Thursday as I really feel AF on her way and don't want to waste pennies. I'm very achey and crampy. And grumpy Grin

Just trying to get up to speed with the charting. I've bought a fancy thermometer today so just need AF now so I can get started.

TerrysNo2 · 03/01/2011 19:35

Welcome bisquits but I hope you're not here long! Smile

battery when I want to chart stalk I just go back through the thread. I think there is a FF friends bit but I've not used it and don't know how.

Thanks battery, MrsP, LadyG, Nix, Izzy, spilt, GetDown and Ladybee for your WTF cycle info, seems like they are fairly normal for most people but sometimes a little longer and OV later, also short LP's. I will be looking out for all that!

MrsP some nice temp rises there. Smile

ravenlocks eating the decorations definitely counts in my book!

Trying to work up energy to SWI tonight, knackered after DS had a bad night and busy holiday period. Not looking forward to work tomorrow, if anyone has the winning lottery numbers, please share!!

GetDownYouWillFall · 03/01/2011 21:00

batteryhen I think I must get the prize for queen stalker Blush Am I the only one who bookmarks you all??? Grin Blush

MrsP81 · 04/01/2011 07:11

Oh no, back to work. Sad

getdown, that's an excellent stalking technique!

Sorry bisquits, missed you yesterday. Welcome. Smile

battery, I don't have much patience either so thanks for the vibes!

And ladybee, your chart looks so good.

Hope work isn't too bad today for anybody else going back.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 04/01/2011 10:56

Morning all and sorry for not being around much. It's been hard with DD to entertain (not that I'm complaining) and I'm now back in work Sad and DD is at nursery...she's moving up to the older toddlers/pre-school room today so am finding it hard to concentrate. Plus DP has had some disappointing news at work - he's self employed and has come back today to find one of the companies he works with are cutting his income stream by 60% so all in all not a good start to 2011. Sorry for moaning on [pulls herself together].

Welcome back Terrys you sound strong - clearly having a supportive family around you.

And hello to everyone else - cannot name check all as I can't remember everyone's names but hoping Spilt, LadyGG and Nix are all suitably pregnant. Getdown re-link your chart so I can stalk! Iwish CD5 like you, so assuming your chart is a boring as mine.
LadyBee looking good!
MrsP I am also stalking you!
Bisquits welcome (do you like the Fox's ad? Grin) and hope you find this thread useful.

And thanks for all the comments about supplements and acupuncture everyone. Have an acupuncture appt on Thursday and have also bought VitB complex supplement and Omega3, 6 &9 one (as well as taking Ante natal multi vit).

I find acupuncture a bit painful sometimes - when she wiggles the needles, especially in my lower leg or foot, I have shooting feelings up my leg.

And at work I can't keep charts open but my personal laptop uses Firefox as the browser (highly recommended btw) and so i can keep multiple tabs open showing everyone's charts...hehehehe

Have a good week all.

GetDownYouWillFall · 04/01/2011 11:10

Hi there MrsA nice to see you again!

Here is my chart currently 9DPO.... stalk away! Grin Although not feeling too hopeful.

Sorry to hear about your DH's work. That's a bummer. Lots of companies seem to be cutting back at the moment. I am back at work today too. There is a glum atmosphere as loads of redundancies are coming up (including me). A lady was really rude to me this morning and normally she's ok. I think everyone is getting really snappy with each other which is horrible.

Really wish I was pregnant so I'd kind of have a reason to not dread being unemployed, IYSWIM? Ah well.

Am trying to think positive.

how long have you been having the acupuncture? Is she a specialist in fertility? Wondering whether something like that could help me too, as I have such long cycles. It's so frustrating getting AF and realising it will be so long before another chance comes up.

Realised that if I am not pregnant this cycle, it will probably be February before I ov again!!

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 04/01/2011 11:29

Hi Getdown I hope the next few days are positive for you. I hate 8 and 9 dpo as there is so much hope but......well, you know what I mean.

I had weekly acupuncture sessions for 4 weeks up to Xmas and didn't see a change i the length of my cycle, if anything ov was later, but I have seen a smoothing of my temps and my post-ov temps have been higher. This cycle, my first few temps are consistent whereas in the past they have been very spikey.
I found her by googling and checking she was a member of the British Council of Acupunturists. She was and was near to me, and by sheer luck she specialises in fertility. She has just started to work with midwives in the area to help with pregnancy and labour too.
Given my workload this month, I reckon I can fir in a session every 2 weeks then we'll see. I certainly can't afford the time for weekly sessions.
She charges £40 a session but I get £30 of that back through my health policy.

Truffkin · 04/01/2011 11:54

Hi ladies and Happy New Year to you all. I've been offline for a while and spent the time getting back to a more chilled a positive place re TTC. So chilled in fact that I forgo to temp for a coupe of days (Christmas and Boxing days) and didn't stress about it at all Grin Also my temps have been a little haywire for this cycle as I had a bit of a bug during the holidays, although things seem to have settled down in time for OV hopefully in the next couple of days. Given all of the random temps earlier on this month, I'm sure FF will have something to say about not accurately identifying the OV day so may need to play around with it chart here

GetDown fingers crossed for the next few days for you, hope it's your month

MrsA sorry to hear about your husband's situation, hope things work out for you and he finds other clients. I wonder if you will notice a difference from the acupuncture. I was having reflexology until December and want to get back to it as I found it very relaxing if nothing else! Loving your work on the chart stalking, dedicated to the cause!

Raven eating the chocs definitely counts, it's a post-Christmas rule that the detox can't start until all of the festive goodies are gone so you are doing everyone a favour Wink

Terrys am really amazed by your approach, very inspiring. Hope work has been bearable today, I'm managing to work from home so easing myself back in gently! Think tomorrow will be a struggle but I'm already half way through the week on my first day in the office Grin

nickstermum · 04/01/2011 14:39

how do you chart stalk then? Bookmarking whats that?! Spill GD Grin sorry about the redundancy feeling x

battery i heard that weeing straight after sex can reduce the risk of post shag cystitis...but then you run the risk of the swimmers falling out... lesser of two evils i suppose!! Would taking some higher strength cranberry tablets help ? before and after?

terrys i too hope work has been ok x

mrsA acupuncture sometimes hurt where the needle goes in if there is an area of inflamation... i think from memory. Or maybe i am talking bumpf! I had quite a lot of spinal work done for a back injury and all down one side hurt like hell, which was the bit where all the muscles were jammed up!
Sorry for DH work news, not what you need to kick start a new productive year x Well done on the supplements though Grin

waves to everyone else xxx

ravenlocks · 04/01/2011 16:12

Yet another negative OPK, boo!

Getdown hope you are feeling more positive for this cycle.

MrsA sorry for the news about your DH too.

Does anyone know what the green squares are on the stats row on the FF charts? I am guessing it has something to do with increased fertility but doesn't seem to tie in with anything else ie predicted ov date, CM etc.

TerrysNo2 · 04/01/2011 16:52

raven I think the green squares are when they think you will OV.

Work is ok, been kept busy by a conference call that started at 11am and still not finished! Really hard to answer the "did you have a nice christmas" question Sad

GetDownYouWillFall · 04/01/2011 17:12

Hi all, back from work now, boy today was a struggle!

nix ha ha I will make you into an expert stalker! I use Firefox but I think on Internet Explorer they are called "Favourites" or something. I click on the person's link to their chart, it opens a new tab on the browser. I then right click on the tab and choose "bookmark this tab" you can then name the bookmark with the name of the MNetter so you know who's chart is whose. Clear as mud??! Grin

Sorry you got another negative OPK ravenlocks - I know how that feels as I had 12 of them last cycle, waiting for ov to appear Angry Keep persisting though! Looks like you are gearing up for it with the EWCM which is good. I'm not sure what the green squares on FF are either Confused Probably says somewhere in the FAQs?

Terrys sorry you had to face all the "did you have a nice Christmas?" comments, that must have been horrible. Sometimes it's easier to just say "yeah, it was fine" - that's all most people hear anyway sometimes. Hope you are ok.

Iwish · 04/01/2011 18:42

Hi all. Long time no speak :)

Back to work today and I did not want to get out of bed!
Well DPs nana seems to be ok after her fall. She had a Hip replacement so now has a matching pair. She will be in hospital for a while now but at least she's being looked after.
Also now trying to persuade DP to buy me a netbook. Have any of you got one? Not sure if they are good but they look ok.

MrsA yep boring cd5, waiting for af to bugger off, thought it had gone but oh no appeared again this afternoon Angry Sorry to hear your DPs news, rubbish isn't it! Hope you are ok x
Getdown Chart Is looking good :). I really hope this month is your month. Im still stalking you.
LadyBee have you resisted testing?
MrsP I am stalking you too :)
Welcome Bisquits!
terrys I'm sorry you have had to answer those questions, I bet it was hard and I hope you have coped ok x
Spilt, LadyG, Battery, ravenlocks, truffkin and Nix. And after all that if I have missed anyone I am so sorry.

tory79 · 04/01/2011 19:14

Hi all

I was just wondering if there was any lovely lady around who could share their thoughts as to when I ovulated this month [http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/315af5
]

I was pretty ill over xmas and New Year which has mucked things up a bit, I thought it was day 16, but ff is still not saying anything.....
