Izz so proud of you for getting through it babes xxx and im hoping those kiddiwinks of yours kept your thoughts and time occupied during the dark times :)

I so so hope its this cycle for you lovely girl xxx

GetDownYouWillFall · 30/12/2010 19:59

Hi there Izzy sorry to hear it's been a difficult time for you, with the due date and all. Well done for getting through that milestone. Also it's a bugger about AF arriving on boxing day Sad Hope you are ok.

Terrys I can understand you needing to step away for a while, but just in case you are still reading, am thinking of you and hope you and your DH are coping ok. It's a rotten feeling. i went through the whole range of emotions from initial calm to disbelief, to sadness, anger, guilt etc. I really did experience them all. Finally reached acceptance but it's a process and you have to work through it.

I know you are probably sick of hearing it, but the fact you CAN get pregnant is very comforting, and I do believe it will happen for you again before too long. xx

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 30/12/2010 20:18

Second what Getdown has said.... Terrys i hope you are doing ok and dealing with it all in your own way. When you are ready there is a really good network of ladies on the MC/TTC thread who are all in different stages, some WTTC post MC others TTC.. its a busy thread, but the gals on there have been through it and can very much help, if you felt you needed a bit of support.

Love to you and your family xx

Hello chartees - frustratingly, FF is not letting me on at the moment so can't stalk you all. But I gather from some of your comments that there is some dropping in both temp and mood.
See, that's my love-hate relationship with temping, I like that it tells me when I've ov'd and don't need to worry about the SWI any more. But I hate the way the dips etc make me feel, especially right at the end of the cycle.
I was contemplating not temping once OV was indicated this month. Might still give it a rest now, as I'm heading into the psycho-zone. Grin
My temps are all showing white circles because we've been enjoying later rising, but they are actually all consistent with each other - within about 15 minutes, so I'm not worried about that. Oh and I've discovered that breathing through your mouth really has a bad effect on temps (as in, way lower!)
Fortunately that's cleared up but it gave me a few mornings of panic as temps initially had plummeted but then strangely rocketed after I slipped back to doze after blowing my nose and breathing through it for a half hour and temping again.

Will try to stalk charts tomorrow. Is anyone going to do an early test before New Year's Eve? We don't have big plans so don't think there's any point, will have a small glass of something most likely but won't be rolling drunk so not too worried.

mousebacon · 30/12/2010 22:49

Hello ladies, this is my first day back on MN for ages thanks to xmas then a yucky sick bug and I'm just so sad to hear terrys news. I hope you're getting lots if RL tlc but know that the ladies on here will always be here for you xxxx

Nix I'm thrilled you saw the heartbeat - we must be almost due date buddies ( too nervous to work mine out yet but I have a rough idea)

I'm still leaking brown sludge and worry about mc every day but I'm going for a swine flu jab tomorrow and I've finally plucked up the courage to book a 'booking in' appointment with the mw on Tuesday. The plan now is to make it that far. It's as far ahead as I can look if that makes any sense?

Waves and xmassy hugs to getdown lady mrsa spilt izzy and anyone I've missed xxx

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/12/2010 09:36

welcome back mousebacon sorry to hear about the brown goo. Well done re booking your appt with the MW. Hopefully all will be fine. If it's brown then not such a worry.

Ladybee I know exactly what you mean about temping driving you a bit bonkers. Every dip and wobble I find my mind working overtime thinking about it! Today DD woke me up at 6 screaming and I leapt out of bed without even thinking, to settle her. Got back into bed only about 2 mins later and took my temp straight away.... expecting it to be unusually high because of getting up.... but was actually virtually the same as yesterdays. So then was thinking "should this actually be a dip???!!" Arrgh. I am going round the bend I think. How many DPO are you?

I am 5 DPO now.

MrsA so sorry to see that AF arrived Sad

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 31/12/2010 10:44

Nix fab news re scan and mouse I hope the brown stuff stays brown and all is ok.

MrsP I don't think you've ov yet. Don't worry about having late ov - once I started charting, my ov date increased from cd18 to 27 this cycle!

Getdown I've had similar mornings where I've had to leap up or been drinking the night before and my temps have dropped not risen. I think I'm not very suceptible to these things so tend to view my temps as accurate.

And yes, AF arrived today. Gutted. I'm 39 in March and feel time is running out for me but when I see D playing alone, it breaks my heart.

On a lighter note, ladies who have acupuncture - how frequently do you have it? I'm back on Thursday for another session and would really prefer once every 3 or 4 weeks otherwise it takes up alot of time!

LadyGoneGaga · 31/12/2010 10:56

I had it once a month when ttc, MrsA - around ovulation. But I guess it depends what they are working on specifically. Your charts show you are ovulating nice and regularly and your lp is fine so I think is just a matter of time for you - if you are worried you can seek help after 6 months past 35 I think? But probably just needs more time.

Nice to see you back, Mouse and sorry bout the brown goo - but hopefully will be fine as is brown.

Glad you are feeling bit better, Nix.

Hugs to Izz - due date is always going to be a hard day. Hopefully you will get a new sticky bean soon.

If Terrys is around still am thinking of you. And I think you will fall again pretty soon if that is what you want to do. I know it's a really tough time. But at least lots of ladies here (if not most?) have been through this as well so lots of support.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/12/2010 12:20

MrsA please ignore this if I am way off the mark, but I've got TCOYF from the library and there are lots of example charts in there. There is one that she says is an example of low progesterone - the temps do rise after ov but are not that high, also the LP can be shortened. I noticed that on some of your charts the temps don't go that high above the coverline, just wondering if it would be worth asking for a progesterone test? As I say, please ignore if not helpful.

How are you doing LadyGoneGaga? Nice to see you. You gave me hope because you conceived on the cycle after your WTF cycle - that's where I am now, so hoping I have the same luck as you! Smile

Iwish · 31/12/2010 12:35

:( Angry arse and bollocks! I'm sure that explains everything. :(

mouse hope you are on and the brown sludge goes away soon.

mrsa sorry af arrived, what a load of crap :(

getdown hope you are ok today, 5dpo will be keeping my eye on your chart.

ladyg hope you are doing ok too :)

spilttheteaagain · 31/12/2010 12:52

You ok Iwish?

Iwish · 31/12/2010 13:06

Feel like a bag of crap and just want to cry but other than that yeh lol. Not told DP af arrived yet in case I start crying uncontrollably and dont stop. Hormones are rubbish sometimes.

How are you?

weimy · 31/12/2010 13:24

Big hugs Iwish xxx

spilttheteaagain · 31/12/2010 13:34

Oh sweetheart, I'd lost track of the charts did that happen today? I'm so sorry. Tomorrow will be easier. CD1 is always utter shite.

I'm ok thanks. Nauseous, lazy and tired but ok.

Take care of yourself x

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/12/2010 13:47

Oh no Iwish I am so sorry Sad I agree with spilt - CD1 is always horrible and you feel so low, but it gets a bit easier to bear by day 2.

At least you will be able to have a guilt-free drink tonight!!

Here's hoping 2011 is a happy year for us all Smile

Iwish · 31/12/2010 14:09

Thanx weimy xx

Thanx split yep just this morning, temp had gone way down this morning and then she appeared :( never mind like you say cd2 will be better. Glad you are all sicky and tired hun xx

Thanx getdown :) I will be having a few glasses of wine tonight (lightweight will only manage 2 lol). hopefully this month will be your month xx

LadyGoneGaga · 31/12/2010 14:45

Well, fingers crossed for you this month Getdown.

I'm ok. Nausea is easing - although am quite picky about what I eat and really have to fancy it. Am in bed when DS is though at the moment as quite shattered. All good though, sporting a little bump and huge boobs already. Got my 12 week nuchal scan in just under a couple of weeks! Still a bit nervous but better than was and hopefully will be more relaxed after scan. Being a complete horror to DP, seem to perpetually be grumpy/touchy - hormones I think.

Bugger, Iwish - is always the worst day. Make sure you enjoy lots of "naughty" food and drink tonight while you still can.

Glad you are well, Spilt - sounds like you are growing a strong one to me. What are your plans for tonight? We're staying in, cooking some nice food and not doing much else!

Iwish · 31/12/2010 15:26

Hi ladyg I will be having naughty food and drink :). I've just had mac d's as DP insisted we go and I have a bottle of wine waiting for me at home. Ooh glad you have a little bump there, hope all goes well with the scan, it has come round fast. :)

Well DP knows now. Driving while in tears is not good lol. He asked what was wrong when I was driving as the flood gates just opened, feel a tad better though.

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 31/12/2010 15:26

Ladyg was it you that said you have a 98% chance of pg to term after seeing a heartbeat at 8 weeks?

Is that true? hope so :)

Sorry the brown sludge is back mouse, mine too! a teensy weensy bit when i examine the tissue that comes and goes... puts the fear of god up me when i go to the loo!! Please god let it stay brown, or go clear...!

Im the same LG, nausea easing but cant even pick at the chocolate cupboard.... :( choc fingers, nope, biscuits, nope, dairy milk not a chance.... not like me at all!! Have gone off textures...!! Struggled to stay awake.. just off for a bath!

Going to a friends house from 5pm with all the kids.... they dont know but she is a fellow charter, so will no doubt ask me! Dont really want to lie to her, i have known about her MC's and IVF stuff...but equally dont want to jinx it!

I wish im so sorry the red witch got you, CD1 is always the hardest though :( Tomorrow will be better xxx

getdown isnt tcoyf fab?! Love it!! FX for you too xx

spilttheteaagain · 31/12/2010 17:30

It was me Nix, stat is from the Miscarriage Association here. It's in the bit half way down the page headed "Early Scans".

We shall be having a suitably boring night here. Beef in guiness in oven. Film. Early to bed. I hate New Year, always have. Not a big drinker and the tele is cack. The New Year will turn up whether I watch the clock with overexcited people or not. Bah humbug!

TerrysNo2 · 31/12/2010 17:44

Just want to say hi, I am here and ok, just a bit quiet at the moment. Will be back soon and more chatty I'm sure. Sorry for Iwish and MrsA AF arrival. So [happy] for Nix's HB, very Envy too of course but you have been where I am and so I am also taking hope from your success.

Happy NYE all, heres hoping 2011 brings us all healthy and happy babies or bumps! xxx

TerrysNo2 · 31/12/2010 17:45

doh, obv meant Grin emoticon!!

spilttheteaagain · 31/12/2010 17:55

terrys lovely to see you again, glad you are surviving. Still here if you want a bit of a rant or anything. Hope you have a nice evening and very much hoping 2011 brings you your next baby Smile

Iwish · 31/12/2010 18:35

Hi terrys. Hope you are ok huni, nice to see you. Hope you have a lovely evening and wishing a 2011 baby for you and for us all xx

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 31/12/2010 20:00

Happy new year all. Here's to lots of healthy, happy babies and lots of bumps too.

Hello Terrys, come back to us when you're ready and give you, DH and DS lots of tlc.

Thanks for your comments Ladygg, I'm hoping it is just a matter of time. I was 35 when i conceived DD. We'd been trying for 12 months and had all the normal bloods/sperm test at the GPs and had just been referred to the fertility clinic when i got pg.
I'm hoping we don't have to go down that route again, cos I feel a bit of a fraud going to the GP - we already have one child, DP and I are the wrong side of 35 and all our previous tests came back normal. We should be content with our lot?

Getdown T was wondering about progesterone levels but this cycle, after acupuncture, my temps have been pretty high and stable. I don't think my LP is short (average 11 -12). Any thoughts anyone with more experience?

Iwish so sorry AF got you too. We had the same LP this month too eh? Sadly, I won't ov now for another 21-27 days, so you'll overtake my next cycle.

Happy new year to all - I'll probably be in bed by 11!
