I think I ovulated on CD19. Due to DH work commitments we only managed SWI once but that was on CD19. I know a BFP is still possible but we did only do it once.

It's too early to test but I have all my hopes of a BFP running through my head and symptom spotting. My body has been cruel in the past though and got my hopes up only for AF to appear.

However, this evening I am feeling quite nauseous and have had feelings like ligament pulling in my abdomen. Also slightly tender boobs.

I'm 8dpo and just want the next week to be over so I know!!!

I think af is due on the 10th and I think I ovulated on the 27th of Dec.

We are ttc dc4.

I have a few symtoms but I'm sure they're in my head
I'm feeling abit bloated and windy tonight, I think this isn't our month.

I can't remember what I felt like with my other pregnancys,

I'm abit nervous of a bfp tbh because I've had 3 mcs, 1st, 3rd and 5th pregnancy were mc, there seems to be a pattern, In my head I will have a mc before a healthy pregnancy. I'm going on now lol.

i had my last period on 10th dec lol and ov on 27th dec and 28th dec do you think we have ov too late

everytime i got pregnant before summin wnet wrong i fell in 2001 and had a termination long story its on one of the threads already
i couldnt cope my son was 4 or something and has special needs learning diff and he couldnt be left etc to geton with stuff if you gt wot imean he had to be watched etc all time
i didnt have time for anew born in my life
i couldnt of coped and had to think of me and my son and money etc as my other half was ganna leave me
anyways i feel again mc really bad inearly lost my life my hospital saved me as i really bad hemoreged needed a emergency op and a blood transfuison
worse thing was i was at home by my self and ileft it ages to fone amublunce as i always think sum one needs it more than me
but thst day ididnt icalled it within half a hour to be honest i didnt know wat was happening
as never had that b4
hopsital did say ican mc and if i hadnt by the time my next scan was as i was being scanned weekly they said they take me in
the next day i mc
anyways ihad another termiantion for health reasons and baby wenrt right
then i hap eptopic then another one or 2 terminations
because of baby not being right so yep i had bad times too
im under gynae and got a app on 14th jan
but this happended years ago latest being 3 year ago i think
but under gyne for summin else longer periods lasting upto or ovr 2 weeks and 48 days period i had last month
and im usally 30 to 40
anyways im in the 2ww and its annoiyng me
ive been doing shoppin online lol
just oredered a canvas print from next lol
of me ad my dh xlol try not to worry though yer
when i had eptopic iknew there was summin wrong being it happened too quick and ijust knew
you gt a proper gut feeling hun from the day you do that test well i did afewtimes
but i did mega with the eptopic
im lucky i didnt have my tube out
i had a injection used for cancer patients for bad cells x

I'm bored of the wait already......only the 10 days to go. On the up side at least my middle section has subsided to it's usual, non duck egg laying, size and feel!!

Now, dumb question, how soon do you really notice anything if you are pregnant? I feel completely normal (so far as I ever do), not a whisper of anything going on so I'm inclined to gloom and doom as I keep hearing of people just knowing the second they were.... But then others who have no idea until much, much later....ladies?

Hello everyone, hope its ok for me to join?

I'm on my second month ttc and thoroughly exasperated already with the waiting (I need instant gratification most of the time...)

Last month I had a few symptoms, but I think the flu made the whole thing none viable and AF turned up bang on time.

Now 10 days dpo and hoping... took a test this morning in vain hope but BFN. Was trying to wait until Thurs when AF due, but will power gave out.

Just to add current symptoms:

Enormous boobs (well they feel that way anyway)
Irritable to the point of feeling embarrassed about it later (I'm normally very even tempered)
Tired, though this seems to be easing off a bit
Difficulty concentrating
Light spotting as of today
Slight back ache

Probably most of it is in my head... boo.

Hi everyone, may I join too please? :)

Came off the pill just before Xmas and OV'd on CD19 (1st Jan). Really wanted to catch this egg as I have heard that we can be super-fertile the month after stopping the pill but then fertility levels drop for a while after that.

Started having all sorts of symptoms over the weekend (sore nipples, very, very thirsty (still am) all the time and therefore peeing all the time!, metallic taste in mouth and total exhaustion on Sunday.)

AF is not due till Sat but caved in yesterday (6 days before AF) and did a 6-day-early First Response in the afternoon but was obv BFN. Did another one this morning (yes, I am very very good at wasting money!! :)) with FMU but was BFN again. And suddenly all my 'symptoms' seem to have completely vanished (apart from massive thirst!) so I really don't think this is our month. I also know that I got a BFP with late afternoon urine with my DD 5 days before AF (which I am today)so it's not looking good at all. Boo :(

Sorry you got AF Essence, been following this thread for a while and keep my fingers crossed for you everytime. I really hope this is your month!!

Congrats Lolly and fingers crossed for you too Katee, sounds like your spotting is implantation bleeding, that can't be in your head and is a massively positive sign that a BFP could be just round the corner!! :)

Also meant to say Essence - so sorry about the tragedies in your family over Xmas, sending you big hugs and hoping that you and DH are coping as well as poss in the circumstances.

TTC our first. Came off pill in October, been having 28/29 day cycles. Not been using ovulation monitors but usually get ovary pain before ovulating so can kind of guess. This month we had sex on CD13, 16, and again on day 19 so not sure what chance that gives us. Have had an odd symptom though which I've never had before - very, VERY sore and tingling nipples on day 21&22, different to anything I've had before. So i'm hoping that's a sign Never been pregnant before so what do I know!

Anyway AF is due on Monday 16th Dec so am trying very hard to put it out of my mind

Wht day did you get your OV pain then? I also get very bad pain, in fact, this month, I could feel it all building up for about 10 days before OV!!! Then at about 7:30am on 1st Jan, it got unbearable (had to breethe through it! for a couple of minutes and that's how I know exactly when I ovulated! And the pain is totally gone after that. It's weird but nice to know for sure that I did OV and when! I had the same thing when I conceived DD so was hoping this was going to be lucky again for us this month but now I don't think so :(

Hi littlesquirt! I last felt the pain on 31 December (CD15) (it builds up too) so hopefully got the right time. It seems to be the same time every month - I've been using an app on my phone that shows me when my most fertile days are (you input when you ovulate and put in when your period is etc) so according to that, we had sex around the right time.

I always find my ovulation pain builds up, to the point where if i move suddenly I'm bent double in pain, feels like everything settles in position then the second I move, it is agony. Can usually always tell which ovary I'm ovulating from too. It's weird!

Sounds like we're on about the same timing then littlesquirt (or at least we ovulated at a similar time) - when are you expecting AF?

Hey everyone, how are you today? I am still symptom spotting like mad, though OH is concerned I am getting my hopes up.

Today the cramping and back ache have eased off, so hoping that means implantation has taken place! My tummy feels really hard, and it was an effort to eat my lunch (and I didn't fancy breakfast). Normally I can eat for England, so that's really unlike me. Last night I was so tired I went to sleep for 2 hours when I got home from work, then went to bed at 10 and could hardly drag myself out of it this morning.

Does anyone else feel really spacey with this? I'm not sure if its just the mental pressure, or hormones or what, but I feel weird!

I'm off to York tomorrow. My best friend lives there with her DH and DD. They've had a rough time of it recently so I'm hoping we'll be able to cheer eachother up! I'm taking 20mo DS with me. It normally takes us about 5hrs to get there (we live in Surrey) so I'm going to time the journey around his nap time!

Hi Essence - I hope you have a lovely time in York. At least you can have a few drinks with your best friend (trying to find positives to the evil witch catching us!).

Katee - it all sounds extremely promising!! I am so impressed that you are not going to test until Thursday! You all know my lack of restraint when it comes to POAS, it really is shameful (and expensive! ).

Cheeser - it's so uncanny, everything you described re. the OV sounds exactly like what I get and our dates are v similar it seems. I also have an iphone app that tells me about my cycles (it's called FMC, is that the one you and Essence have? and it tells me to expect AF on Fri. However, I also have the TCOYF software and that tells me to expect AF on Sat. I am chosing to go for Sat at the moment.

With regards to OV, I know that I ovulated on my left side this month! It freaks people out (my Mum in particular) when I say that I know I ovulated on my left side at 7:30am!! :) BTW, I have Endometriosis and I think that's why I can feel it so well. I have it behind both ovaries but not really anywhere else (I had an endo a few years ago, that's why I know) so as a result OV is very painful but I dont' get so much pain around AF time and don't get the heavy bleeding. Do you know if you have endo?

LittleSquirt I have three tests left... may well cave in and test before Thursday, but DID manage to resist (so far) today, ha ha! Last month I went through about 8, all BFN, poo.

Just hoping its not PMS... though having never suffered from it I would be a bit shocked if it was.

I don't think its odd you can tell OV... I usually get a stab from mine (usually my left) one, every other month!

LittleSquirt - the app I have is just called iP. I've only been using it a month but it predicts my fertile days and ovulation day and I can record my temps and it gives me a nice little graph of them to look at!
They're all probably fairly similar I expect!
