Aaaarrrggh! I hate the 2ww!

I think I ovulated on CD19. Due to DH work commitments we only managed SWI once but that was on CD19. I know a BFP is still possible but we did only do it once.

It's too early to test but I have all my hopes of a BFP running through my head and symptom spotting. My body has been cruel in the past though and got my hopes up only for AF to appear.

However, this evening I am feeling quite nauseous and have had feelings like ligament pulling in my abdomen. Also slightly tender boobs.

I'm 8dpo and just want the next week to be over so I know!!!

Feel better for getting that out!

Hola all. Well I got a BFP on Tuesday, when I was due on. Well, 2 actually, as DH didn't believe the first one so trawled the local towns for a chemist that was open to get a swanky digital thingy. To say we are in shock is an understatement. Went to the GP today and all is underway - due date is 8th September which seems yonks away!

Congrats to those with BFPs :-D Am still in the 2WW, & only on day 6po. Since when did time pass so slowly??? This is killing me. No symptoms at all to report either (although not surprising given how early it is) so nothing to even prod or poke. Argh, i'm never going to last two weeks of this!

As for me, I'm now on the 6ww
DH's throat infection meant no SWI in the vital week and then the few days he was better that may just have snuck in on the timing, we were in Ireland where we didn't have the best of times :(
DH's cousin was killed in a car crash on Monday evening. He was 28yo with everything to live for. He and his best friend were killed instantly and a pg woman in another car also died along with her unborn baby. All so sad and tragic. Being Ireland, the funeral was quick (yesterday) so we went to that at 2pm and then drove directly to the airport to fly home afterwards.
The family are understandably devastated and DH's granny - who is 95yo - was broken. She kept saying it should have been her as he was so young. It was heart-breaking :(

We couldn't get away from it at all really as it was on the front pages of the national newspapers over there and on the tv headlines.

Sorry to put a downer on things but it does put things in perspective. I think my new years resolution will be to appreciate more what I have.

Anyway, I'm getting excited for all you other ladies in the 2ww. Keeping my fingers crossed that this stays a lucky thread :)

Sorry I disappeared from this thread, Christmas and half the world descended and er, I have barely been near the computer! Lovely news on the BFP front for all of you BFPers. So sorry to hear your terrible news Essence.

I was a BFN last time out, have taken Clomid this month and think I've ovulated (my left side felt like it was laying a duck egg the last two days but temp was up this morning).....

Fingers crossed for you all this time, hope it stays a lucky thread for everyone!

well, I convinced myself that there was no hope for about, what, 24hours??? Still only 10 days post OV.....

No change in the boobage department, so was thinking its a definite no, but now have slight nagging nausea and am at my desk feeling a bit green

Is there any chance this is an early PG symptom, or just the result of massive over-eating at Christmas??

Hi everyone can I join you? TTC#2 for 11 months.

I am currently 3dpo. I have PCOS and I'm sure I ov'd for the first time in ten months on Saturday which was cycle day 30.

However it could have been one of those stupid LH surges, but still I'm trying to be hopeful.

We have been SWI and no alcohol/caffiene etc.

I am at gynae for my first appointment regarding my PCOS diagnosis tomorrow. If they want to do swabs/internal examination will this effect anything?

I don't think I can wait 2 weeks to test!!

Hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. Any investigations at 4dpo really shouldn't make any difference I don't think. If fertilisation has happened, there would not be implantation for another few days.

Thanks to you all for your kind words about DH's cousin. Unfortunately the tragedy has continued as another cousin has now committed suicide - presumably as a result of the first tragedy. DH is bearing up well and I had never met either of the 2 cousins that have died but it is heartbreaking for the family :(

January just seems like such a rubbish month already. My best friend is also waiting on news of her grandfather who has survived without drip or fluids for 5 days now. He's 94yo and his body is just shutting down. So sad.

HI. Im in the 2ww. Due on this Friday- have had light spotting yesterday- pinkish then a darker brown- maybe implanation bleeding?- I hope so!!!! If I don't come on Friday gone do a test this weekend I think. Fingers crossed!!!! Good luck every one who is waiting X

i went outside just now to clean my bunny out and i had a weird boob feeling when i wnet outside i had been out there for ten min or longer and coming in and out to gt stuff for my cage and bunny
and when icame bk in i started washing my hands and i gott his weird boob feeling like it hurting it wenrt my boob this time it was my nipple lol

i think this happened to me when i walked down the cold aisle in tescos last month or month b4
so maybe im just clutching at straws
idint imagine it though
and it was so sore my nipple
which they have been to touch when i gt sore boobs its just sore around the boob and heavier or heavy boobs that kill
but last 2 days nipples been sore to touch sumtimes
but just now went out in the cold and nipple hurt me but not both of them weird iknow ibet af will gt me soon x:(
