Had an mc and need some wine, chocolate and somewhere to moan and cry? This is the place to be! We chat a LOT so it can be hard to keep up, but everyone on here is great and will hold your hand until you get your BFP.

Thanks Lady DH was a bit taken aback to be woken so early Blush
Hairy thanks and glad to see things are settling down for you

Nix I bled for a week before mc and it was never brown, always pink or red with increasing clots (I was waiting for erpc so already knew what it was) I got cramps too, which for some reason felt 'different' to pg ones. I really hope today goes quickly for you x

that's what I'm telling DH, start the diet next year. I'm also working on him coming swimming with me

I've spent the last couple of days swinging between happy/nervous/pleased/scared, which I suppose is natural after a mc. The chronic wind is taking my mind off that a bit Blush but I keep thinking I should have more symptoms. Early days I suppose (hope)

kat2504 · 27/12/2010 08:24

PA congratulations! What a lovely Xmas present. Hope you get your drugs really soon. Even if your consultant isn't there surely the hospital must have someone available who can prescribe for you. Very pleased for you, hope this is your lucky one at long last!!

LadybeenKissingSantaClaus · 27/12/2010 08:26

Wow! Wow wow wow!

That's some de-lurk pretty - have also contacted your gp? Chances are your consultant will have been writing letters to your gp outlining your care under him/her so in the circs you might be able to get them prescribed as an emergency supply until consultant contacts you. OR can you go to a&e for an emergency referral? Do you have copies of letters /notes exposing treatment protocol?

Bloody hell love - I thought inwas in trouble needing to get a dentist appt today for ouchy tooth. I hope you get to talk to someone today.

nix how are you today? Hope that brown gunk has stopped. So sorry for all the stress and illness and abs etc I really hope that bean clings on.

PrettyAwfulGoodGirl · 27/12/2010 09:13

I called the out of hours service first thing.
Waiting for them to call me back.

Awwww, thanks for all the advice, I'll keep on at them.
I may be a little unhinged if things dont go my way Xmas Blush

I can't believe this is happening now.

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 10:00

pretty that is an amazing de-lurk!! Amazing news about BFP!!! exceptional ironic timing with bank holidays though.... Reckon you've done the right thing leaving messages, and agree with the other suggestion about gp or a&e? Although I know naff all about NK cells, hopefully if the levels usually go high by 6 weeks you've still got a bit of time if it takes a couple of days to get drugs?? Punch me if I'm being a nob tho, as I know naff all!!!

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 10:03

Also pretty there's some private clinics in London that 'believe' in NK cells, maybe they can help if youve got paperwork? Sorry, don't know where you live though-clearly not a helpful suggestion if you don't live anywhere near!!

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 10:11

Sorry for half arsed catch up girls, on phone!! lady I was half tempted to watch it so that DH can start to get some exposure to the minging side of having babies but decided that watching it would be a bad bad idea for my mental stability over Christmas....

hairy good to have you back in the ttc mentalling. Big waves to everyone else, hope you're having a fab time!! My bad food brakes have definitely been taken off and I am such a nob that I am now wandering around with a permanent sugar rush headache :) xx

PrettyAwfulGoodGirl · 27/12/2010 10:12

Just spoke to lovely Doctor, I baffled him with my sciences and ishyooos.
As it was a trial he didn't have much of a clue about dosage and as it was a year ago neither did I. [eeek]

I've persuaded him to prescribe me 20mg of drucks which I can pick up in an hour!
Whoooop!
Hope it's enough. Xmas Hmm

Thanks again for advice, much appreciated xx

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 27/12/2010 11:28

Pretty thats fantastic :) glad you got sorted.

Brown goo has gone, still going to epu tomorrow (feel sick just at the thought) no blood - just bits of brown. Hoping its old implantation blood and that it comes and goes is a good sign, but will see.....!

can only hope x

batteryturkey · 27/12/2010 11:38

just crashing to say fab news to pretty Grin xxx

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 12:26

Try not to think about it nix I've got a strong feeling you're going to be fine xxx

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 27/12/2010 15:12

Will see pink! Cross everything, don't trust my own instincts anymore! :)

HidingUnderTheTreeWithSanta · 27/12/2010 18:13

Evening all Smile cor what a lot of excitmrnt since my last visit!

The fact that your breasts are still sore is a good sign nix. my mc did start with brown spotting but my symptoms had started to go away for a few days before so that so I was already suspicious. I'm sure the epu will reassure you that a bit of spotting is pretty common during pregnancy and you will be fine Smile

Big Congratulations pretty! sods law that it would happen at the most annoying time though Wink. Fx that you got the right amount of rugs and it all goes smooth for you.

Well me and dp have been swi like porn star bunnies over Xmas so I am hoping I have ov'ed on time and will have a lovely Christmas bean we can announce on dp's birthday at the end of march. Just have to hope it gets good and implanted nice and quickly to beat my stupid short luteal phase. Hey, a girl can dream right...

HidingUnderTheTreeWithSanta · 27/12/2010 18:15

Sorry pretty I meant to say drugs! though I'm sure some rugs would also really help.... Ummm... Maybe...

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 27/12/2010 18:41

Pmsl at rugs!!!! :) am sure they would keep the bean nice and warm!

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 27/12/2010 18:48

Hiding have just checked.. Boobs still swollen, still veiny, nips still disgustingly large and the scary vein across tummy to uterus still there, haven't had much nausea tho but didn't with any!

Goo has not returned today, just clear or opaque so can just wait and see! Last time the fetish had not formed but the stipple sac was retained, and so were my symptoms til they disappeared at 10 weeks! Scary boobs hung around for a while so not sure how reassuring that is!! Can only wait, and pray (Altho not religious!)

Orange, it's terrifying! I have found happiness overwhelmed by apprehension and fear! Both last 2 pg were so carefree and I loved both, up until 2nd went wrong, feel like am walking on eggshells now!!

IzzyWizzyletsgetChristmassy · 27/12/2010 19:04

Wow pretty that's fab news - congrats!!!!! Fx the drugs will work and you have a boring eight months ahead Xmas Grin Xmas Grin Xmas Grin

Big ((((hugs)))) to nix - brown goo is usually old blood and not necessarily a problem but I know everythings worrying especially after a mc. Hope you're coping ok and you get some reassurance tomorrow - will be thinking of you x

Will update the list as I'm back at the bottom again - AF arrived yesterday with the result that I got outrageously drunk slightly tipsy at a family party last night and am fighting a raging hangover bit of a headache today. Pretty so pleased you got those drugs sorted out. I have everything crossed for this one sweetheart, you have been through so much.

Nicks I've been thinking about you and for me, when I got brown goo, it didn't stop. It just started, continued, cramping started up, then it moved to red. You are stop starting and I think that's got to be a good sign, but I'm just hoping that the scan shows good things. Also...Grin re your typos. A 'stipple' sac? and the 'fetish'?

Izzy sorry AF couldn't stay away you gave it a really great shot, so annoying when it doesn't work out after all that effort.

Well, I'm not sure what's up with me - I'm soooooo tired. Went to bed twice today, feel a bit breathless, a bit achey but not really. My tooth is feeling a bit better but still a bit sore. Guess maybe it's just a case of lots of things all contributing feeling really run down. Anyone got 'feeling like shit' on the list of Is Definitely Pregnant at 5DPO Symptoms?
Nope?
thought not. Damn.
Better have some more chocolate then.

Oh by the way, can I just say that my DS chose for Santa's refreshment a Christmas biscuit (which we made together), and a glass of pink milk. I love that this is his idea of the Best Drink Ever Grin

LadybeenKissingSantaClaus · 27/12/2010 22:21

Izzy. Your DS deserves a Hard Stare for that question.

But you've reminded me of a question I meant to ask the combined wisdom (that's yous lot).

If you're over 35 and are coming up/have reached cycle 6, are you going to go in for fertility checks?

I'm cycle 5, so basically have one more shot next cycle and then should really go in for referral - that's what my PCOS consultant said - 6 months trying, don't leave it longer than that. And I think that's a standard timeframe now for NHS referral for over 35s isn't it? Just wondering?

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 22:45

Xmas Grin at pink milk lady, that is so sweet! Sorry no idea about referrals, am under 30 (not that it makes any difference.... Xmas Sad) Would have thought it's worth going to GP and asking for a referral anyway, no harm? Fingers crossed feeling grim is a sign!

Hahaha nix your message is very intriguing! Not sure whether they are typos or not!!! I'm betting my pile of Christmas chocolates on it being old blood. Want to raise me??

izz sorry about AF. LOL about DS - definitely hard stare as probably worth him getting the hang of that not being good chat, to any woman, of any age Xmas Grin. Sorry you're feeling gloomy, it sucks eh?

hey hiding good work on the swi - here's hoping for you, being able to announce at DP's birthday would be lovely.

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 22:52

Why did I just go on the due Jan 2011 thread??? Why would any sane person do that???? Guess I was just wondering what my life would be like now, out of interest..... Xmas Angry Xmas Sad Xmas Angry Xmas Sad Feel predictably sad and pissed off now.....

LadybeenKissingSantaClaus · 27/12/2010 23:11

Oh Pink it's like poking a papercut to see whether it still hurts.

I stroll nonchalantly past the grads thread every so often...it feels further and further away with each month.

chin up lady. You will get there by hook or by crook.

RudolfThePinkNosedReindeer · 27/12/2010 23:23

lady it's EXACTLY like a papercut!! Or when you know you've got a mouth ulcer and when it stops hurting you put your tongue on it to check if it still stings........ Urghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghghg
