News flash, straight from the horses mouth (well the mouth of a nationally recognised fertility specialist). Everything you read regarding Luteal phases is pure and utter shit!! ok, I'm paraphrasing, but I am assured that retaining a pregnancy has nothing AT ALL to do with the length of your luteal phase (it has everything to do with the hormone change post ovulation and this can be tested but given we have all conceived at least once is a sign that our hormones are doing what they should, when they should)! Great news ladies and for added reassurance he has told me that as I conceived the first so quickly DH's swimmers are almost certainly super dooper, my tubes (or at least 1) are good, I def ovulate and although my cycle has altered, this is quite common post mc and as long as they are still regular it makes no difference!!
So to all those with short LP's (I know izzy and posse one or two others), stop worrying, throw out the pills and just enjoy SWI
So on that note... I am gonna bow out for a while my lovely girls! I'll certainly lurk and leave me on the list or move me on to MIA. I think for me this is the wake up call I needed to STOP stressing and let nature take its course.

I've been for my acupuncture this morning and feeling great. Trying hard to prepare myself for the disappointment of AF's arrival next week but can't help getting my hopes a bit as had a temp dip at 10DPO and now a little bit of brown spotting. Somebody slap me!

So, I tested last night and I got a very faint line. Tested this morning, got nothing I got OPK+ on CD13 morning, and am on CD32 now. I got bad cramps/pain on CDs27 and 28 (worse than normal period pain), which have stopped, I am bloated, have wind more CM than I've ever seen and bigger occasionally a bit sore boobs. I'm out of ideas :( I keep trying to forget how long it took to get the BFP last time as I don't want false hope

Anyway, AandR I just noticed that was cycle 2, that's great! Have you told DH yet?

Orange the boobs and the CM sound similar to my pregnancy symptoms, I know you don't want to have false hope but it really does sound good to me. Maybe you can wait a day or two and test again and you will get a reassuring big fat line?? You must be feeling all over the place... Fingers x'd for you while you wait.

HKBaby you're right. I think I may need to give my tests to DH and tell him to not give them back to me till an agreed time. My friend suggested Xmas eve.

mamac you know what, that is the best news you could have been given. The GP said something to me last week that has stuck in my mind, and he said... 'you wil only fall pregnant again after a miscarriage, when your body is ready to do so' it kind of makes sense, but also kind of doesnt ?(certainly doesnt help with frustration!) Its quite possible that it takes longer for some to physically & hormonally rebalance after the trauma of an MC - i dont know!! Im so glad you got some clarity and i hope it helps :)

Haven't been on here for a bit as have been trying to stress less too. SWI done for this month now. Two good chances in the fertile window. Wanted three but he had to go to work this morning so lie in was cancelled! Yesterday was probably best day any how.

Well I started spotting again yesterday and I feel very PMT'd today, I have no idea what the hell is happening to my body! Its only blardy CD16! Oh well I suppose sooner AF turns up the better and then I can start again, rather than it taking the usual 40days! Feeling sorry for myself today

I know that really I need to pull my finger out of my arse and loose some weight to sort out cycle, as I have put on loads since MC and I know it always causes problems. but its so hard when you're feeling down in the dumps!
