A safe haven for those just off the mc rollercoaster and thinking about getting back on or are already on the TTC rollercoaster. Be warned these lovely ladies chat, and the thread moves lightening fast, but all are welcome to join in any time Smile

For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

Good morning all - welcome to Tuesday! Thought would update list and add myself in if that's okay (hope have done it properly, apologies if not).

Congrats to ladygg, amazed by your list! Thinking to take myself to accupuncturist, especially as in China so is a local speciality. Wanted to try charting too but cannot get bbt thermometer out here, does anyone know would it be at all worth while to do with normal thermometer or just waste of time?

Anyway, enjoy your days everyone.

Morning! A message from the other side of the other side...I started here on this thread and had my baby on the 19th October. Although it is a rollercoaster there is hope and there are many many success stories. We have just started a new thread

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/1084599-Pregnancy-post-mc-Totallys-grads-continued-part-5

for support in pregnancy post mc. Armed with your bfp please do come and join us for unrivalled support in pregnancy. The most heartening part of our group is that we are all at totally different stages of pregnancy; some of us are posting while feeding at 4.30am, some are due imminently (sp?), some are just pregnant and lots are in between. The ladies are all lovely and my pregnancy wouldn't have been the same without them!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 16/11/2010 07:22

Morning all - HKbaby good to see you on the list, just updating as me and wombat have lost a couple of days somewhere along the way Smile

Samantha thanks for popping in, it's great to hear some success stories from people who have been all the way through this and cone out the other side Smile. Hope you're having a lovely day with your baby - huge congratualtions! x

mummya good luck for today, lovely, let us know how you get on x

PinkFondantFancy · 16/11/2010 08:13

Morning all! I had a dream about having a little boy last night-I think I am officially losing the plot!!! mouse please could you use your Geordie accent to announce that it is cd36 in the pink house and there's not a lot to report.... Apart from being a complete cow to DH for absolutely no reason Blush

mummya hope everything goes really really well for you today and that you recover from the surgery super quickly.

dachs how are you feeling today hun? Everything crossed for you and your two little beans.

Hope you all have a fab day-I am stuck on a broken down train, marvellous way to start the day!!! Xx

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 08:15

Fondant, where have you gone to??

Sam: your dc shares my sons birthday, thank you for some inspiration :)

Hk, Basel therms on amazon website, for 6 quid Digis not so good so am told! Try that. Also opk sticks on there are 30 for a fiver so may be worth it or not I don't know!! Thought I would suggest!! I know one of the other posters lives abroad and buys them from amazon!

Wombat33 · 16/11/2010 08:32

morning all!

Good spot on the cds izzy. I feel a bit like I'm going backwards but hopefully not actually!

GOOD LUCK today mummya! Hope it goes well!

Hope things are also going well in the Dachs house. Thinking of you and sending positive vibes!

To the rest of you: have you any idea how embarrassing it is to snort hot chocolate down your nose with laughter on a packed rush hour train?! Do you!? I.m holding you all responsible for the fact that half of london now knows thinks I'm a total loon!

AandRMum · 16/11/2010 08:47

Am now soberly dressed - heading off for serious interview - so no hot chocolate allowed here - Nix you are not helping things! I haven't worn my suit for ages so used a babywipe to get the dust off - note to self babywipes are not the answer to every dirty situation! Was doing final check as running out door with DD1 attached to leg when I noticed wipes had left a white residue over my jacket - arghh I am unemployable!!!

MummyA you go girl. This is your day and hope it leads to some bloody good ones in the near future!

Loving the BB announcements. Please add mine. It is day 27 and AandR is going slightly loopy!

youremindmeofthebabe · 16/11/2010 08:58

Congrats to ladygg, and a mahoosive GOOD LUCK to mummya.

MamaPower · 16/11/2010 09:02

I've missed something, I knew I would, 3 weeks is a lot to catch up on! someone tell me what op is MummyA having is she ok?? MummyA if you're reading this before your op, hope all goes well x

youremindmeofthebabe · 16/11/2010 09:13

She's having a swanky uk surgeon operate on her Ashermans, which he previously diagnosed for her. She's in the UK now. Dr Adrian Lower if my memory serves..

PinkFondantFancy · 16/11/2010 09:18

Good luck in interview aandr!! mamap mummya has come to England to get her ashermans fixed by an expert doc!

BB status update: the pink discharge of impending doom has arrived at the pink house booooooooo. Am currently feeling surprisingly chipper about it, no idea why!

nicsteroo what do you mean?? I'm confused!

DachshundsRule · 16/11/2010 09:20

Good luck mummya

pinkff I'm feeling a bit more philosophical today than yesterday. Was v depressed yesterday but today am thinking 'well, at least there are two there. 20% chance is better than zero'. Still hoping though. Keep everything crossed for me!

It was really annoying yesterday - when I got there they were still doing other procedures and they don't do implantations until they've completed all the egg collections, because the environment needs to be more sterile for the collections than it does for the implantations. Which wouldn't be a problem, except you're supposed to drink a litre of water an hour before the implantation so if they are running an hour late it means you're desperate for ages!

It was all very undignified.

Officially my test day is 29 November, and I need to keep free of any physical or emotional stress throughout the next 2 weeks. Not quite sure how that is meant to work, but I'm not supposed to worry too much about work or leave work late. They clearly don't know me or my boss very well!

I spent most of last night having nightmares about being arrested for murdering someone (which I can only think must be my subconscious worrying about the embryos) so I'm knackered today. Great start to the stress free regime!

wombat lol for the hot chocolate snorting! Grin I wish I could get a hot drink to snort on my train.

welcome back mamap :)

aandr good luck for interview. they might think white smear is a fashion statement? ;)

MamaPower · 16/11/2010 09:21

thanks YRMOTB and Pink. Will be thinking of MummyA all day, great that she has found a good doc to sort, even if it did mean a trip to Blighty :)

MamaPower · 16/11/2010 09:24

Dach's can you take the next two weeks off work?? Would your doc sign you off sick with stress? Not exactly a lie! This is all about you and your shot at happiness, not your stupid boss and you should have your feet up, watching shite morning TV and being relaxed. Anyway, you take it easy lovely :)

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 09:56

lol

inbetweener · 16/11/2010 10:10

Morning all,

dachs I would second the suggestion to get yourself signed off for two weeks. This is your chance take it !!! Good luck xx
pink ahhhhh no, it might not be ! It aint over yet.
nickster I bought those OPK's from amazon and never got a chance to use them Blush so fingers crossed if all goes well and my bfp stays in there, mine are up for grabs if anyone wants them ? I dont know how good they are ?

Well not much to report here. Phoned GP this morning for my blood test results and she has the day off WTF !! She didnt tell me that. She said she would phone me with the results today !
So it looks like I will have to wait till tommorrow morning.

Had an argument with DH last night which has left me feeling Sad. He was grumpy cos the bloody foxes had ripped the binbags apart again and I was the one that had put them out there even though he said dont cos of the foxes oooops. He was then irritated and restless in bed so I shouted at him and off he went to sleep on the sofa. sigh. Bloody men.

I am 5+3 today and feeling....well normal. Slightly achy boobs, no sickness, no cramps. Hmm

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 10:29

fondant you hadnt posted, and i wondered if you were ok, but then we crossed posts!!! glad you are ok, soz for the red witch, CD36 huh, that ties in with the CD22/23 OV as per FF though doesnt it. Same as me lovely, swi'ing at the wrong time.

Need to figure out how to copy chart off FF onto here, you will die when you see mine! Its all over the shop!

wombo i had just cleaned my kitchen worktops last night when i spat PJ all over the side thanks AR! Funny about the choc, but not at the suit!! AR what are you like with the babywipes! They clean off most things GOOD LUCK Grin hope you get the residue overlooked Grin

Sadly between my DH is like that too. My bin is so far away from the house i tend to sling the bin bag out the back door and move it later on, but we too have been visited by foxes :( so have also had a bollocking! Didnt help when said fox appeared in the lounge during the summer whilst we were watching 'mary queen of shops'...(freaked me out somewhat after those baby twins got savaged in their cots :( ) but it wasnt scared when it was chased off with a baseball bat and stood its ground!

dachs take the week off lovely :) sick or holiday. ASk your lovely DH to book you into a lovely country hotel for the weekend :)

HidingInTheBackRow · 16/11/2010 10:30

Morning all

I'm working from home today but my flat is so cold I am seriously thinking about going into the office...brrr

Good luck with the interview AandR. not that you will need it of course Grin

inbetweener your gp sounds rubbish! Surely someone else can give you the blood test results?

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 10:35

mama MA got her diagnosis and consultancy over the phone/postal i think and the swanky doc basically got her in ASAP to be reviewed/operated on etc etc. She went on the pill for a month but still no AF but brilliant she has managed to get in quickly.

So, tomorrow all being well her damaged womb will be repaired/close to repaired! And whats brilliant is there is still a high rate of successful pg post op :)

Wishing you all the luck in the world MA
and a speedy recovery xx

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 10:36

hairy also thinking of you today my lovely xxx speedy recovery also, both mentally and physically xx

nurse47 · 16/11/2010 10:39

Hi ive been posting on the miscarrage forum but now feel ready to start all over again!
My story, Had my first MMC in nov 2007, followed by an erpc (worst moment of my life) this was my first pregnancy and i felt robbed. Waited for two periods and got pg with my little DD in feb 2008, i had a great pg and birth but was on constant knicker alert. We decided when she was two we would like another baby to add to the familiy, we decided to try in sept this year and got pg first time! (very shocked) I was so hoping this would be my time to have a stress free pg and actually enjoy the experience! How wrong i was, i started to spot at six weeks had a scan which showed a sac but no baby, i then enjoured the worst two week of my life by having scan and blood tests. I was told on the 8th on nov the pregnany was not going to continue and i had a blighted ovum, and on the 9th i had a erpc. I have recovered well and stopped bleeding the day after the procedure. I went to see my doc last week who told me i could start ttc asap as long as i feel up to it?? anyone else ttc straight away, last time i was told to wait and i did but this time i have read that there is no lit to say wait apart from to date the pg?? Im hoping there are some people who can share there experiences with me and i can join in your chat!

my stats are (i think this is right i may need some help)i have had 2 mmc, one dd she is 2, my normal cycle is 28days and im very regular. Is there anything else?

HidingInTheBackRow · 16/11/2010 10:53

Hi nurse47, welcome to the thread. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you will get a successful pregnancy soon.

This is a great thread full of sympathetic ears and strong drink when needed. It has certainly kept me going since my mc a few weeks ago Smile

I've not had an AF yet since my mc and though I am not going all out crazy trying we are not exactly doing anything to stop it either.

MamaPower · 16/11/2010 10:56

Nurse Sorry you are hear and welcome to this very friendly and supportive thread.
Regarding ttc again, I think we are all pretty much agreed here, start when you feel physically and emotionally ready but no need to wait!
For your stats we need to know what cycle day you are on at the mo and would you like to be put on the WTTC or TTC list? Big hugs to you.

nickstermum · 16/11/2010 10:59

nurse you have come to the right place :)
so sorry for your losses, its hideous x My story is also blighted ovum at 12 weeks in August(no embryo, yolk sac or stalk) (DS age 3)

There are no guidelines. My doc and epu said wait intitially 1 cycle but that they only say that to date a pg in case you conceive! I SWi'd during WTF cycle (whilst waiting for period to arrive after MC)

Docs say wait 1 cycle and i do wish i had...I have found that my body is only now getting back to somewhere near to normal (cycle, Ov, Skin) and my emotions are in check... having a project to focus on has helped, also my lifeline has been my DS. Without whom i would not have coped... and of course this thread.... has kept everyone going i think! You are in good hands, these ladies are just awesome :)

So what i would say is start as and when you feel both mentally and physically ready, do whats right for you but also that it does get easier.... that old cliche pisses me off tbh about time being a great healer, but from experience it has proven to be true!

Thinking of you, stay strong xx
