For those who have just mc'd, there is great info about your first cycle here

If you want to add yourself into the stats, just copy and paste the lot, change everyones CD (cycle day) if necessary and add yourself in.
WTF = first cycle after mc
WTTC = waiting to TTC
CD = cycle day
UCL = usual cycle length

Only two survived the weekend and they are grade 2 rather than grade 1 so they're going back in today. Bit depressed that it's not better news...

Oh Dachs I'm sorry the news is not as good as you hoped. Keep positive - it only takes one! Thinking of you today and keeping everything crossed that the transfer goes smoothly.

velvet AIDEN IS OUT !!!!!!!!!!!! I am so so gutted. i actually cried a bit he was my absolute. I love quirky, I love different and I do not like katie bloody - im a fighter - Waisell !!! AGHHHHHH I am so so annoyed he is out.

As for me , I went to the GP this morning and she basically sent me to the hospital for a blood test as she wasnt sure I could be pregnant so soon after a miscarriage ?? Well this sent me into tons of doubt, so rushed to the hospital in the opposite direction of the one I work in, cos my GP wouldnt let me go there grrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Then got on the bus to go to work, got stuck in traffic so ended up jumping off and wasting £15 on a clear blue digital as I am paranoid now my bosy is telling lies.

Got to work, flew into the toilet, mid POAS my mobile rings, its the school and they need verbal permission for DD1 to attend choir practice as I havent returned the letter. Ooooppps. Not like me at all as I am usually quite organised. Sat on the loo and waited, saw Pregnant 2-3 weeks flash up, and breathed. !!!!

Sooo, I guess I will go back to the GP on wednesday for the results and then get booked in once she belives me !!

dachs sorry it's not more, but don't lose hope. You would only have had two put back anyway and it only takes one to get a baby. Try not to let the gradings bother you too much (I know it's hard!) - they only tell you the level of development at this particular, very early stage and are no guarantee of success or failure. Try to remember that if you conceived naturally you would have no way of knowing whether you were carrying a grade 1 or 2 embryo at this point (or ever). Fwiw dsis had a grade 1 and grade 2 put back and both took; it was impossible to tell even from early scans which was which.

I know that won't stop you worrying, but try to relax as much as you can. We're all keeping our fx for you x

orange I had my miscarriage on the 8th October. It was early days and happened without intervention so I didnt wait at all

Once the bleeding had stopped I basically forced DH to have sex with me pretty much every day lol. I didn't think it would happen so quickly so do feel very lucky ( and terrfied )I didnt get a BFP till I was 5 days over my usual cycle length so to be honest I just figured the miscarriage had messed with my system. Clearly so does my GP ! Mind you, wont I get a shock if the blood test comes back negative

betweener can't remember - did you get a bfn post bleed? They may make you have two blood tests to show your levels are rising. Given you had a faint line to start with and now show 2-3 weeks there can be little doubt - grrrr GP for causing doubt!

inbetweener I don't blame you for not waiting and what fabulous luck I had to bargain with dh from 3 months to just wait 1 AF. Digital test should put your mind at ease, but I'd be the same I think it's only natural especially after a mc

wombat transfer went reasonably well - the embies took less than a minute to get into me after they were taken out of the incubator, which is apparently good (it can take up to 3-4 minutes)

orangetn thanks for the luck! only a 20-25% chance of them implanting, so I'll need it...

aandr Officially I test on 29th Nov (although the chances of me waiting that long = 0, especially when it's my b'day on 26th - nice b'day present?)

inbetweener all it means is that because only two survived and they're not top quality (although they aren't the worst quality either) the chances of them implanting are lower - would be a 40% chance of a BFP if they were higher quality.

Also, they'd expect them to be 6-9 cells by now but mine only had 5 cells each, so even less chance of them implanting. But at least there were two and there is still a small chance. I'm not optimistic though!

izzy thanks for the perspective! It's good to know that grade 2 embryos can implant, and you're right about not having a clue about what grade natural conceptions are!

Hello, I know I don't often post here but I do lurk and know a few of you quite well from other boards(Wombat, MumyAbroad, Owlshoes sorry if missed anyone).

Just wanted to say that I got a BFP this morning. First proper cycle (not including WTF on) after my mc. So chuffed to bits although very scared and getting past 7 weeks (when I started to bleed last time) going to be a HUGE hurdle.

LadyGoneGaga that's awesome news! You must be so pleased. Selfishly a good news story cheers me up and makes me think it is possible as i'm on WTF now

Do you have to wait until 12 weeks for scan? I would be in same position with nerves. Did you do anything in particular (apart from the obvious!)?

Glad it cheered you up, Orangetoenails! What didn't I do more like!:

Increased my Thyroid medication (obv not relevant for all).
Took Evening Primrose oil up to ov
Took Vit B complex after ov
Took multivit and folic acid
Took Magnesium all cycle (acupuncturist told me this would help rebalance my hormones after mc)
Ate: Brazil nuts, Pumpkin seeeds, avocadoes three times a week (as I don't eat oily fish) and took a Fish oil supplement (acupuncturist is also a nutritionist
Had acupuncture around ovulation day
Followed the sperm meets egg plan (sex every other day, but then started every day for 4 days in advance of ov. Then stopped as was knackered!)
Drank very little alcohol before ovulation and none after
Drank very little caffeine (maybe one tea a week)
Charted
Used OPK's
Made DP use a cushion so laptop wasn't directly on his knee.

I prob won't get an early scan as have only had one mc.

Bit worried as bled in first pregnancy and was fine, DS now 2, bled in second and was not fine. So think if I see any blood I will freak out completely. Also not sure whether a scan would even reassure me as last time I saw a strong heartbeat at 7 weeks although had started spotting and 3 days later it was all over
