spilt pleased your DH is home safe and sound. Hope you've got a nice lazy day booked in for tomorrow. I don't mind the snow when I don't need to go anywhere but getting to work this week has been horrendous.

Still haven't told DH, it's not been too hard tbh. Am hoping to wait at least another week. Am knicker checking like there's no tomorrow. Expecting the worst but hoping for the best. I'd say I've pushed it to the back of my mind but we'd both know I was lying! I keep sneaking upstairs to look at the tests again.

I wish sodding amazon would deliver my internet cheapies (and clearblue digis!) so I can compare darkness! Damn snow!!

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet, was DD's 3rd birthday yesterday and have had a manic few days with party organising and everything!

Very boring chart for me at the moment GetDown's chart CD5 The only strange thing is that I'm still having fresh red bleeding, normally only get this on day 1 and day 2 at the most. Could this be something to do with the WTF cycle??

nannyl - hi! Looking at your chart looks like you ov'd on CD15. Your last unprotected sex was 7 days before this, and it IS possible to get pregnant from this, although unlikely. My DD was conceived from sex 6 days before ov. You may not be preg though, you may have just had an odd reading today where your temp took a spike. Hope you get the result you want!

mousebacon - really hope this is the one for you. Can understand your nervousness. Can't believe you haven't told DH!! Don't think I'd be able to hold it in!!

spilttheteaagain · 05/12/2010 09:01

Could be GetDown. Mine went the other way and I had hardly any proper bleeding at the start of this cycle and I have assumed it's just because the WTF cycle is a time for hormones to be haywire and trying to regulate.

Aaggh. I have had very vivid pregnancy dreams last night. Did about 5 tests in my dream (most of them in the work loos, all positive, and then took my chart to a local pig farmer Hmm to get advice on when I conceived). Please don't let this be a premonition!

Chart today, 7dpo.

Good morning all.

Well my temp dropped to 36.53 this morning... I guess AF might be on her way tomorrow.
Am very excited as it means this is the month that we are TTC, and having had a 29 day cycle for the 1st time ever since i came off the pill, it means that if im successful baby will be due on my birthday.

Am getting out my clear blue fertility monitor that i bought back in Augast ready for this month, although now i have charted so much i dont think i need a machine to tell me, but i have it so might as well use it!

nannyl · 05/12/2010 10:02

(my cycle is always 28 days, just not this time!)

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 05/12/2010 10:20

Good morning all, beautful sunshine here but deathly cold... roads are like icerinks! My DH went snowboarding up on Buxton yesterday... he was waist deep in snow!!! Bonkers huh?! DS has pox, is covered from head to foot in blisters poor baby.... wasnt very happy from 1.30 this morn til 5am thats for sure!! Then getting up at 7.30 am...mummy wasnt particularly! Xmas Grin

//How are we all? spilt fab that dh made it home safely :) thank god! Kind man stopping to help!! mouse feeling ok ta. Have done several more tests, not using first urine and they come up strong lines very quickly. Boobs have changed and feel fuller, little bit of cramping but i have been in bed at 9.30 the last 3 nights!! Xmas Grin no nausea yet but my appetite has increased Xmas Grin well thats my excuse and i am sticking to it Xmas Grin

terrys how is DS now? LadyGG how do you feel - everything good? *nannyl i was about to say that looks a promising chart, but if they have dropped perhaps not! I have just realised that our bfp would (if it sticks~) result in a young child, august! Hey ho, would have been midyear if pg 2 had stuck. Cant always plan these things, but great if you can x

TerrysNo2 · 05/12/2010 19:17

Evening all, been away with no t'internet and laptop about to die, will go charge it so I can say hello properly in a bit but first a question....

DS has lost my BBT therm - no idea what he has done with it - so as a makeshift this am I used his one, accurate to 0.1 degree and used in the mouth. Anyway it was 36.2, which really confused me as that was quite a drop but I had expected it to be higher, not lower as I went to bed at 1am and took temp at 5.45am (thanks to DS) and I had a couple of glasses of wine last night (Blush).

So what do you think??

GetDownYouWillFall · 05/12/2010 19:39

Different thermometers read differently Terrys. My DD's one always reads low readings compared to mine. I wouldn't trust it TBh, I expect your BBT one would have read higher than that. Make a note of it on your chart.

How annoying! Hope you find your BBT one soon!

spilttheteaagain · 05/12/2010 20:08

I would say you can't trust the reading due to the change in thermometer terrys. Bummer to lose it half way through the 2ww!

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 05/12/2010 21:36

Not to worry, bought a new one today so only one day should be distorted. I did make a note of it on my chart LadyG.

Anyway, back to my hello's...

Welcome nannyl Smile - I don't understand your chart very well - afraid I have only been FF trained! But I wish you the best of luck with TTC-ing!

mouse I understand your reasons for not telling your DH but how on earth are you keeping that secret - I would burst!!

Nix thanks for asking about DS, he is better now but he seems to just be prone to chest infections which cause seizures, but the good thing is that, although they are terrifying, he seems to recover fine and is developing normally. They think he will grow out of them by the time he's 5 or 6 (although that seems like a long way away right now!) How are you? Glad to hear the lines are getting darker and that the symptoms are starting! LadyG what about you, many symptoms?

I didn't know pig farmers were good with conception days spilt Wink

8dpo today and I really don't feel anything, last month after OV I had cramping from 6dpo. TBH I really don't feel like this is going to be our month, just a feeling.

mousebacon · 05/12/2010 21:43

I'm not sure terrys I don't even have the urge to tell him! Think I'm suffering from severe denial - thank god I've got MN!

Just want to get to the xmas hols without incident then I'll have to tell him! Have got 2 nights out coming up and think I'm even going to pretend to drink in front of him! Have offered to drive but we'll see what happens Xmas Grin

Pleased your DS is on the mend xx

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 06/12/2010 07:25

Wow, mouse, i think your willpower is incredible!! terrys thats good news re DS Xmas Smile that the docs think he will grow out of it. My DS was also prone to chest infecs for his first 18 months after he was born term + 6 with problematic lungs. He seems to have grown out of that now at age 3 (touch wood) so its amazing how resilient they are :) worrying time for you at the min i expect.

Catch up later, gotta hit the road x

LadyGoneGaga · 06/12/2010 07:27

Hi All.

Mouse can't believe you're managing not to tell DH. Denial is right. How are you feeling?

I'm entering the exhaustion phase. Just feel permanently knackered and if I'm not actually eating at that moment then I feel sick. Isn't putting me off my food though (piglet). Am 6+4 now. Lost my symptoms at 6weeks last time and started bleeding at 7+0 so feeling rather tense this week. This pregnancy does feel differnt though so hoping that is a true reflection of what is going on. Scan is two weeks today!

Terrys I didn't mention your thermometer. But you knew what I'd say Grin!

Hope everyone else is well and all the pregnant ladies are happy and well and sticky.

mousebacon · 06/12/2010 07:47

With my imaginary 1st day if last period (I counted back 2 weeks from when I ov'd) today makes me 5 weeks pregnant! No real symptoms but I can tell things are in the turn so to speak. I'm more tired than usual and my appetite is changing. Could also feel my boobs aching through the night. I didn't feel really rough till about 7/8 weeks last time so here's hoping I feel really rough by Christmas! That should make cooking for 10 a doddle...

Have a good day ladies, I should probably go to work.

Hope the symptoms stay strong ladygg x

Fedupttcnosuccess · 06/12/2010 09:33

St Nicks, Lady and Mouse: CONGRATULATIONS Grin. What a lovely Christmas present. Good luck. Grin xxx
Sorry to be so neglectful of participating here. Too much on at work and home. Terrys - really hope your ds gets well soon: this cold spell is conducive to colds and chest infections, the poor love WILL grow out of it: but not before worrying you to hell and back( as is the way with kids: not his fault!).
Take care. Good luck to all. Congrats to everyone else who's had a +ve. Apologies again for not reading back. I'm off to work now. Ciao! Smile

TerrysNo2 · 06/12/2010 09:41

Things on a downward slide like last month, not hopeful now. Feeling a bit Sad

GetDownYouWillFall · 06/12/2010 09:53

Not necessarily Terrys they still look quite high to me. On my pregnancy chart when I got pregnant with DD my temps took a dip around 9DPO or 10 then climbed again by 14DPO.

I'm on CD6 and still having fresh red bleeding Confused. This has never happened to me before. A bit scared something is wrong Sad

LadyGoneGaga · 06/12/2010 10:04

What Getdown said, Terrys. Have you got any symptoms?

Getdown it's still not long since the mc. Things are often a bit weird afterwards - I had a 7 or 8 days AF I think. I should think it's fine.

TerrysNo2 · 06/12/2010 10:19

not one peep of a symptom Sad

I want to feel sick and sore!!!

TerrysNo2 · 06/12/2010 10:49

Sorry for being such a misery guts!!

Anyway - sorry about yesterday GetDown it was you who commented on the thermometer thing - thank you!

GetDown can you go to GP and ask about it? Maybe your AF has changed slightly, I don't know! I hope you get some answers soon.

LadyG symptoms sound good, keep it up! The scan will feel like forever away but come around in no time. I predict a very happy christmas for Chez Gaga! Grin

Mouse happy 5 weeks PG. Smile

Hello everyone else.

GetDownYouWillFall · 06/12/2010 12:24

Awww sorry for your lack of symptoms Terrys - don't give up yet though. Does sound a bit like me last cycle though. Sometimes you just get that feeling that it's not your month, don't you? Well hopefully you will be feeling sore and sick tomorrow Grin

Don't know about talking to the GP about the bleeding? They will probably dismiss me, can't think they would do anything else. Unless I get the nice lady doctor but she is booked up weeks in advance. Will just have to hope it settles down.

Am going to OPK again this cycle, but try not to get too obsessed. Last cycle we did everything right timing-wise, and still nothing. I am going on the principle that if we keep timing it right every cycle, surely it's only a matter of time? Hope so.

Hope everyone is doing ok today.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 06/12/2010 12:27

Glad those pg are feeling (or starting to feel) rotten Grin. Hope it continues and you're merrily chucking up over the sprouts and turkey on the 25th!

Terry I know how you feel and it's a rotten time. There is still hope as your temp may go back up but the next few days will feel like months. Try to stay positive but remind yourself that if it's not to be - you can have lots of lovely xmas food and drink.
I'm on cd14. No signs of ov, but that's normal for me. DP off to Glasgow on wed, back fri so hoping I hang on till the w'end!
My chart is definately smoother, possibly the effects of acupuncture.

And were you asking about DD's age? She's almost 2.3 and has taken to no nappies with gusto. We're on day 4 and apart from one accident yesterday while she was napping, she's cracked the wees. No poo yet and she's not keen on the travel potty so no idea what I'll do when we need to go out! May search other threads.

Hope all is ok with everyone. Did someone mention Buxton. I have a meeting there on Wed (I live nr Chester) and am debating whether to cancel. Are the roads passable do you know?

GetDownYouWillFall · 06/12/2010 13:03

Great news about the potty training MrsA. My DD is 3 now, but she potty trained at 2.3 as well, and was dry within 48 hours! I think when they are ready, they just somehow "get it".

The poo will come - keep feeding her lots of fruit Grin

Glad to hear your chart is smoother and wow you are on CD14 already!! When do you normally get ov? I would SWI before DH goes just in case!

Not sure when to expect ov this cycle for me. Last cycle was CD23, but that was a WTF cycle. Previous cycles have been getting shorter and shorter and seemed to be heading towards to CD14 mark. So we'll see. Think I will start OPKing on CD11.

spilttheteaagain · 06/12/2010 16:19

Sorry you're feeling down terrys. Your temps still look good, there's no reason to give up yet on that basis. If it helps you can see my pregnancy chart on my homepage (it's the purple one). I had a dip at 9dpo too.

Lady I can completely imagine that it must be a nerve wracking week for you. I imagine I'll have exactly the same "agh this is where it all went horribly wrong last time" around my anomaly scan next time. There's nothing you can do really, but if you need handholding or a place to fret then we are all here. All your symptoms sound good (and grim!). Early pregnancy really is the pits, I do feel for all of you in it right now, hope it passes quickly and uneventfully.

Still hot today so that means an 8 day LP and counting... Fingers crossed I could make it to a record 11 days!

Had a bit of a rubbishy day at work again (nothing to do with work, I am just having a hard day) so I left early and went via the cemetery to go and sit with Bobbie and talk to her. It's absolutely beautiful there just now. There's a heavy frost on all the grass and trees and everything is shades of silver and white and so very quiet and peaceful. I sat with her just under the big holly tree for a long time and told her how much I'd looked forward to feeling her wriggle and kick, to spending early maternity leave on the sofa with my bump, to building the birth pool and her being born in it infront of the fire, hearing her first cry, feeling her first breath, seeing her open her eyes and look at me for the first time. I miss her and I miss what might have been.
