A shiny new thread girls and hopefully we shall all get merrily up-duffed with sticky beans Grin

spilt Xmas Sad Xmas Sad Xmas Sad big hugs x but really good you can go somewhere peaceful and talk to her.

mrsa i live in congleton. Dh was up on buxton on sat, whilst it was raining in cong it was blizzards up on buxton. I would probably say the roads arent passable in a normal car, from what he said. He said there were lots of cars getting stuck in snowdrifts/ice etc etc... may be fine now but prob check AA roadwatch.

mouse i am so glad you have just said that about symptoms! I am 5wks tomorrow. So far just fuller boobs, starting to be a bit tender, and appetite is changing, other than that i had been worried... veiny boobs anyway from BF DS.... you have re-assured me Xmas Grin

getdown my AF's were totally diff post MC also.... eased off after one or two though.

Sounds awful saying this ladyg FAB you feel rough Xmas Grin and everything crossed for your scan. Did you get that on the nhs due to history of MC or are you going private. I am seeing GP on thurs. Last pg i wasnt seen til 10+ weeks at all, so i want to push for an early scan (last time blighted ovum) but not quite sure what to say!!

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 06/12/2010 18:03

Spilt, so sorry you are having a tough day x LadyG, glad your symptoms are kicking in good an proper! Grin I have finally gottten over the most awful cold I can remember, apart from the tail end of a cough. However, I am absolutley exhausted, so the cold is a useful excuse at work. My appetite has taken a plunge, and over the last couple of weeks I've lost nearly 10lbs (not good). I'm now 5+5 and am panicking at every cramp and every damp sensation. I just want to know that all is OK - boobs are still reasuringly sore :). Phoned the docs on Friday, who said that I don't need to see my GP, and to go straight in and see the MW at 8 weeks (last time doc pretty much said congrats, don't eat this, and go and make an appt at reception to see the MW),so I still dont actually feel as though it's official. DH is well & truly freaking out this time, he mentioned that he had a bit of a panic day on Friday, and doesnt think that he'll be able to cope with the worry for the next(hopefully) 9 months. I woke up with a stomach ache on Sunday (too many chillies in thee previous nights tea I guess), and his face dropped when I complained - although it was just a stomach ache and nothing else (I had to remind him that the baby :) wasnt actually in my stomach) Grin. Sorry for the lack of paragraphs & typos, I spilt water on my laptop the other day and now my backspace & enter button arent working - how annoying!!! Hope you are all well xxxx

spilttheteaagain · 06/12/2010 18:17

Thanks girls. I know I am lucky to have a little place where she is. It's an extra grief for those of you who have lost younger babies that you don't even have their little plot of land. Lady you're right it's just not the same when they only live in your heart Sad

Glad your cold is passing IfAtFirst. Your DH sounds lovely and concerned Smile

LadyGoneGaga · 06/12/2010 18:51

Having a private scan, Nix. I don't even book in with the midwife til 20th (same day as the scan coincidentally) so I guess I would have to ask GP for NHS scan. I read though that only offer them if you've had more than one miscarriage although prob depends on area. I could fib and say I'd been spotting or something but would feel like tempting fate! So having a private one but they only do them from 8 weeks so still two more weeks to wait.

Don't worry about the weight loss, Ifat. You will more than likely catch back up when you are feeling better. I can't stop eating despite feeling awful as is the only time I don't actually feel sick. Bit like being seasick.

spilttheteaagain · 06/12/2010 19:49

Poor you Lady I remember the sickness well. I found that iced water with a slice of lemon in it was actually quite helpful for the nausea. Smelt nice and fresh.

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 06/12/2010 20:21

IF hope your appetite comes back lovely and glad you feel better, get some calories down your neck :) ladygg i seem to remember from the private nuchal scan i booked but never made it to last time, they do a viability scan at 6 weeks, 60quid i think, then at 10 or 12 weeks a nuchal is 180. I think i woul probably have one of each plus another at 8 if i could afford it!! Will see.....:)

lady all i can do is eat......! god will be a heifer before i know it... put tons of weight on when i was pg through the summer before MC and didnt really lose it... I am eating like a carthorse now again.... oh well tell myself its all for the 'cause' Xmas Grin

mousebacon · 06/12/2010 20:32

So sorry you're having a hard day spilt I hope the cemetary brought you a little peace today. It's such a painful thing to never get to do those little things for our babies isn't it? I was so looking forward to the wriggles and kicks.

Hope you other ladies are feeling good and sick, the sicker the better my friend would say!

Pleased to be the voice of reassurance nix I reckon in a couple of weeks well be a nice shade of green (fingers crossed!)

My internet cheapies finally arrived and the line is miles darker so I'm starting to believe I might actually be pg. It's a bloody miracle Xmas Grin

I'm going to ring the epu for an early scan this time next week, all being well, with the hope that they'll be able to see me during the hols. God, I hate fanjo-cam though!

batteryturkey · 06/12/2010 20:59

Hello all :)I am back from my travels. Glad to see everyone is doing well, sorry not to name check, just wanted to give split hugs and xxxx

Not much happening here, am starting to do my OPK s this week, should ov on friday, and picking up DP on Thursday Xmas Grin

I have come back to a poorly cat, she went out tonight and has come back in not able to put any weight on her back leg :( am hoping its just a strain or will have to get her to the vet tomorrow:(

My poor furry baby. Wave to everyone else xx

spilttheteaagain · 06/12/2010 21:06

battery your poor puss Sad After what we had this week I would say keep an eye on her paw incase she's trodden on a thorn or something and given herself an infected foot. Hope she's moving better in the morning and she's just pulled it.

mouse are you planning on taking DH to the scan?

who's charts are stalkable at the moment then? I've forgotten who's where on the cycles...

OP posts:
mousebacon · 06/12/2010 21:16

I'll have to have told him by then I supppose but I can't deny it's crossed my mind not too...ugh, starting to feel like a cow but really don't want to get his hopes up.

Hope your cat is on the mend soon battery x

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 06/12/2010 22:24

Ooh just watched Corrie tram drama tonight - can't wait for tomorrow!

getdown, I normally ov between CD18-23 or even 25. We intend to swi on Tues and then get back to it on Fri.

Had smear today. Nurse said I'd never feel my cervix as my pelvis/cervix is so high that she had to get a longer smear instrument thingy (i'd mentioned I was charting but could never feel my cervix). My blood pressure is up - hmm, yeah, that could be the fact I'm about to have a smear Hmm

spilttheteaagain · 07/12/2010 09:05

ooh terrys your temps are back on the up - here's hoping!

MrsA that's intriguing, when I had mine last week she had to get a longer tube and said I was very "tall". But I can get to my cervix (though it never feels low - this is probably why). I do have long fingers though Grin

OP posts:
TerrysNo2 · 07/12/2010 09:41

I feel honoured to have a chart stalker spilt!! Temp is highest its been and I am Smile about it but trying not to get my hopes up as I had a rubbish nights sleep and woke up at 3am and 5am. I didn't get out of bed though and took my temp at usual time of 6.45 but not sure if that might be the reason.

mouse I am eagerly awaiting his response - you should hide a camera in the room!

Hi battery I hope (assume!!) you had a fun time with DP Wink. I hope his visit on Thursday coincides with a +ve OPK for you. Sad about your cat - I hope she gets better soon. My poor cat is so neglected since DS was born Blush - everyone said that would happen and I didn't believe them but I honestly can't make time for her sometimes. I do still like to see her stalking about the place, except when I find dead mice on my nice new leather boots Angry!

Nix just eat - you're going to get big anyway for the next eight months and you have something to blame it on!! Plus if you BF then the weight falls off. And you won't have time to eat when baby arrives!! Grin

Ifatfirst glad to hear your boobs are still sore, symptoms are a good sign. Your poor DH, it must be worse for them sometimes as they aren't the ones going through it so they can't feel it IYSWIM. Mind you, lets not tell them that!! Grin

spilt I am very Sad for you when you are finding it difficult but I think you are coping tremendously and having your own special place to be with Bobbie must be a good place to go when you feel down.

Grin
spilttheteaagain · 07/12/2010 10:13

Anyone seen digi recently? Hope you're ok digi.

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 07/12/2010 10:54

CD7 for me and still fresh red bleeding. I even had a clot this morning Sad What is going on?

TerrysNo2 · 07/12/2010 10:55

GetDown if you are at all concerned maybe you should go to your GPs now?? I hope you get some answers!

Digi hope you are ok and too busy to talk to us! Come back soon! Smile

spilttheteaagain · 07/12/2010 11:03

terrys thank you, you are lovely.

GetDown is the bleeding getting heavier? If so I would be thinking about phoning someone to ask if you should be concerned. Maybe NHS direct first?

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 07/12/2010 11:39

not heavier exactly, just still bright red. Normally my periods only last 4 or 5 days.

I had a "normal" cycle this cycle, with a normal ov chart pattern, so surely this couldn't be stuff left over from the MC? Confused

Anyway hope you are all ok today. Thinking of you split, it's so so hard. The grieving process is a long journey and there will be bad days and better days. You will be ok. Just give yourself time

mouse hope you get an appt for early scan. It's great that the lines are getting darker - yay!!

Glad to see your temps are up today terrys.

batteryturkey · 07/12/2010 16:07

Hello all :) just a quick wave from work - will try and catch up later tonight. Took the cat to the vet - £80 later and she is ok but still limping around - vet doesn't think she has broken anything but have to go back on Thursday for a check up.

I have started to get some CM today so I hope I can 'hold out' till DP gets here on Thursday :)

Will catch up later, best be off so I don't get the sack x

spilttheteaagain · 07/12/2010 19:40

Poor battery. It's always a bit Shock when you go to pay the vet bill... hope the mog is walking better tomorrow.

I have sticky CM and homicidal urges. I believe this means AF is almost here. Please may it wait til Thurs, then I'd get my 10 day LP!

OP posts:
MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 07/12/2010 19:51

Evening ladies. Hope everyone is ok and your temps continue to rise Terrys Envy!

Just a quick qn - I know ff has 4 types of cm (apart from dry): sticky, creamy, watery and ew. But tbh, mine isn't any of those, it's just a bit wetter but not dry IYSWIM
What would you put that down as?

Spilt not ignoring your moving post about Bobbie, I just do not feel able to say anything that would help as my words would be useless. You sound stronger than I would be and I hope days are getting easier.

MrsArchchancellorRidcully · 07/12/2010 19:54

terrys that emoticon was meant to signify a humerous envy, not the grumpy face shown!!

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 07/12/2010 20:18

hi ladies! turkey your poor mog! Terrys empathise re the dead things! I have been known to have to turf out rats/squirrels/rabbits generally oh yes and lots of birds and mice!! LIVE and dead! My kitten cat is so tiny and carries them for miles!! Nutjob.

I know Digi is about as i lurk on the RecurRENT BUNS MC thread, as they know tons about MC/Tests etc and i have seen her posting on there a few times. While i think about other threads, getfdown the ladies on TTC thread were asking about you the other day also.

spilt have you thought about bvits to increase LP or acupuncture?

GetDownYouWillFall · 07/12/2010 20:38

Aww thanks Nix that's nice to know they were asking about me. TBH I steered away from that thread for a while as I felt quite emotionally vulnerable for a while after the MC, and it's easy to feel ignored there as the thread moves so fast. I know noone was deliberately ignoring me, but just felt like there were some well established friendships and it was very difficult to break into IYSWIM.

WhenStNixgotstuckuptheChimney · 07/12/2010 21:37

I know exactly what you mean Xmas Grin i love that thread, but its lightening quick! Theres a lot on there who are ttc as well, and at diff stages post MC. Its been a massive support for me, but i know what you mean x
