Hi all
I didn't want to hop on a bus because i'm not really aiming for a specific month to have a baby in so i thought i'd start a general "trying to conceive a 2011 baby" and see if anyone wants to join me :D

Hi Ladies,

Hope you're all ok,

Even though I know I have only a tiny chance of conceiving this month I am still symptom spotting like mad!! Have decided that the infection I have is an early sign of pregnancy as my immune system has lowered! I had an itch the other day and apparently being itchy is an early sign of pregnancy!! I had a metallic taste in my mouth forgetting that I had bitten my tongue and it was probably the bleeding that made the metallic taste! I'm a nightmare! DH keeps telling me to stop but I can't help it! Also had a bit of spotting the other day which I have decided is implantation, nothing to do with the infection at all!!

Good luck for Wednesday iwish You'll have to let us know how you get on!

So how excited were your parents summer? I bet they were sooo happy for you! Hopefully they were, my bf holds the record for having the most horrible pregnancy announcement. Having told her not so DM that she was expecting DC3 she said to her "Oh my god, I think you should have stopped at 2, what were you thinking!" and promptly put the phone down on her! What a charmer! As you can probably tell they don't get on so well!

And Shock at the comments made to your bf when she announced the news! Did make me giggle a bit tho.

weimy you keep going! You know I drank grapefruit juice this month and only got the tiniest bit of ewcm per day and I mean tiny but the swimmers managed it :)

fraggle you drink the grapefruit juice up to OV to increase the amount of ewcm and then drink pineapple juice after OV to help implantation. I drank both and am quite happily up the duff :)

Soooo tired today. Was in bed at about 11:30 last night and didn't get up till 11:15 this morning! Was up 3 times having to pee tho!

Iwish I struggle with ewcm spotting, all I ever see is a bit of white discharge in my pants (tmi). I have got the conceive plus stuff which I will use when suspect due to ov.

Mad how quickly all those sypmtoms kick in!!!

To be fair weimy I never really had much ewcm, the first 4 cycles I had maybe 1 bit on the 1 day, month 5 had quite a lot for 3/4 days and month 6 when we concieved had a tiny bit per day for maybe 3/4 days. If you just have watery cm thats supposed to be good. I was thinking of the concieve plus stuff, looks quite good. I'm keeping my FX for you.

Yeh symptoms kicked in quite quick. I'm grateful for all the symptoms i can get for now so I know all us well.

my parents were over the moon, i felt a bit Blush telling them i was pg and then that it is only 4.5 weeks! but i did want to tell them face to face. mum now excitedly looking at babba clothes and is convinced i am having a girl Hmm

i went out with my friend last night who had her DS the same weekend i had mine. turns out she is pg too! Grin and is 4 weeks ahead of me - we are beside ourselves with excitement.

fraggle sorry but every symptom you are describing sounds plausible to me! not wanting to build you up or anything...

millyFX for your test this week - your timings sound about right then if you think you only ov'd just over a week ago

unicorn fx for your appointment, hopefully you can get some answers

iwish excited about your ante natal! we dont get them in our area until around 34 weeks, but we do get regular mw appointments - i need to make mine for about a months time.

summer I'm so glad that your parents were pleased. And it's so lovely that your friend is pg too, you will be able to do it all together. My ttc buddy is almost 4 months ahead of me! We started ttc at the same time.

weimy yeh bring horny is a sign of OV! Get SWI now quick lol! Have you got a +ve on your opk?

I'm a little tired today but I have been cleaning like a mad woman. Decided to get rid of some of the stuff in what will be the baby's bedroom. DP ended up in a strop and we shouted at eachother quite a lot then ignored eachother for about 2 hours. Blush. He then made my tea and acted like my servant bringing my tea to me etc. Think that was his way of apologising.

iwish i have been like a bitch troll from hell this weekend - think my mother got the brunt of it! (which in a way is good coz she knows i am hormonal and just laughs at me - which makes me worse!!)

Grin at bitch troll from hell summer! my hormones seem to be a bit mad hence the shouting back at DP. Even burst out crying lol! How are we both going to be in the rest of pregnancy!!
I reckon if you can keep your gov shut for the first few days you'll be fine. I was dying to tell someone at first but then it got quite easy to keep my gob shut. Only about 6 weeks till I can spill the beans, not that I'm counting haha!

mslk it is onwards and upwards now, get yourself ready for a shag fest! (we did 6 times in 8 days if that helps!!!)

Hello! Just popping back in to say that I got a v faint positive on Friday, now a bit firmer, yippee! Grin Still feeling sick, but like iwish says it makes you feel like its all going ok! Still scared stiff AF will turn up in the next few days, I'm not actually late yet!

GP's test came back indefinate so she's asked me to do another next week. She says it sounds very likely that I am and that I should look after myself as if I am.

If I get too stressed out I may risk losing baby as I am very prone to letting stress totally take over.I'm forcing myself to stay calm

unicorn you will be fine, just stay chilled out as much as you can.

If this is a little bean then it is being well looked after by you, i have had to do it before when pg with DS and i astounded myself with my nerve and you will too.
