TTC a 2011 baby

Hi all
I didn't want to hop on a bus because i'm not really aiming for a specific month to have a baby in so i thought i'd start a general "trying to conceive a 2011 baby" and see if anyone wants to join me :D

another sex pest here! praps we should nickname ourselves the 'sex pests' for future threads

yep my EWCM is usually pretty obvious and i dont need to go ferreting. and yes it is bizarre when i get my OV pain - as i said earlier i literally dropped the shopping in the house and pounced on DH when we were TTCing for DS!!!!

This particular sex pest got DH home from work for afternoon SWIing! Never done that before!!!!!

weimy you go girl! this sex pest is waiting for DH to finish his computer game - the mood lighting is ready!

Think I will OV tomorrow. Got a 2nd line on opk today (wasn't as dark as control but that happened last cycle) bring on the SWI tonight tomorrow and Sunday!!

Oh yes - we SWI last night! Nearly didnt do it as i am only CD9 today but next week we will be going for it!

IWish you may be a little AWOL from this thread this weekend then!

When do you usually OV summerbird? we only started SWI from cd11 this cycle

And yeh I may very well be AWOL. Might try and persuade DP to SWI twice tomorrow! All for the cause of course lol

I had a temp dip yesterday I think and my temp is higher today so I hope It goes up again tomorrow!

Well did some SWI last night but couldn't this am so maybe just tonight and tomorrow. Feeling a little tender today as I was out with the girls last night. I'm such a lightweight lol

Iwish I am that way too, have left DP in pub with his friends and come home so I don't get drunk. I have to be up early with the puppy tomorrow for training, plus have a very sore bum after they (Three dogs) tripped me up coming down the stairs this morning .

Hi all, can I join? We are TTC no.2 this year.
DS happened without any real trying on our part so I'm hoping the same will happen this time round otherwise I think I shall have to start learning the lingo. I have got some OPK strips but haven't used them yet and have no idea what cycle day I'm on.

Hi all, on the 2ww at the mo 3dpo (apparently), by the chart I have certainly swi'd at the right times but if that was all it took :(. Grr this will be a difficult two weeks.

Not much to report here, being a minor sex pest and still waiting for my egg if OPK's are anything to go by. I'm CD19 but not had a positive OPK and temps are their lowest since starting tempting. Hmmm wonder what's going on?!

Hi Mslk. I too am being a sex pest, poor DP is shattered lol. My temps have gone the other way this cycle and are higer than last cycle but also all over the place.
how long are your cycles again? sorry if you have alreadey told me, my memory is rubbish. i OV'd cd16 last cycle and had a 11 day LP, you might just OV a bit later too.
Can you post a link to your chart?

I'm now 2dpo. Have been SWI for the last week so just to wait and see now

Well having had one DC already I should know these things but it just kind of passed me by. I just read the thread and realised I had no idea what was being said most of the time.

Cycle length, not sure I have written stuff down in my diary so... my last period started on the 25th dec, finished on the 1st Jan. I started peeing on sticks on the 5th jan then got a positive for one day on the 8th (had sex 7th,8th, 9th)then I got a bleed on 10th, 11th, 12th, this is quite common for me but not sure what it is. I guess I won't know cycle length until next period.
Any advice welcome!

shuffle do you know what date your last period started? The bleeding you got could be ovulation spotting. I think you could have ov'd 9th or 10th which would be cd16/cd17 I think which would make you 6/7dpo now.. if you have a 14 day lp (the days between OV and your next period) then your next period is due around 24th/25th jan. My lp is only 11 days. Does that help at all?

Is ovulation spotting good? Does that mean I was too early with my sex fest on the 7th, 8th and 9th?

Hi shuffle sorry I thought you said you had a positive opk on 8th. Usually you ovulate 24-48 hours after a positive. I usually OV the day after. No not too early, it's good to get the swimmers up there ready for the egg to be released. :)
