Loola snappiness can be mistaken for pg hormone and implanting too y'know!! Test test fx crossed;)

Strong willed and opinionated huh? FAB good to see them exerting themselves already! My ds is quite shy at school and likes to play with the girls which am glad about as there are a couple of boys with behavioural probs! Ie hitting etc! But he loves it, as long as his favourite toys are still trains and not dolls!!

Fondants get fertling! With early pant snot does that mean swimmers will survive in it longer? SWIM re the grapefruit effect? bonkers huh, shame it tastes rank!

Lady glad u feel like spending money on the grand plan!! Me too;)

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 06:58

choc you are in my thoughts lovelyxx

wonbo hope your rewsab better than the effort made by the nurse yest for me! Go to doc x

Feelin crap today already, dh (also commonly known as dick head) has given me and ds his fucking bloody man flu!!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 21/10/2010 07:20

choccybick so sorry to hear about your loss. Thinking of you x

and dachs sorry about your dog - I've been there recently as you know and it's horrid. Sounds like he's still in with a chance though so will keep my fx for some good news x

nickster sorry you're feeling rough lovely

ladybee I got into researching my family tree while on mat leave after DD, sounds sad but I found it really interesting. My dad's cousin in Australia was doing the same thing so we joined forces over the Internet and actually got quite far with it (back to 1300s on some lines although it's all a lot of guesswork at that point). It is amazing the number of children people had, I was also pleasantly surprised to see quite a few women still having children into their 40s quite a while ago - I had assumed that it would all have been done much younger. The sad thing was looking at the number if children who survived in those days because of childhood illnesses/nutrition etc - I think my gg-grandma had 11 children of whom only 2 lived into adulthood. It did throw up some interesting characters though - let us know how you get on

loola - that does sound promising! When are you due to POAS?

PinkFondantFancy · 21/10/2010 07:55

Sorry dachs :( fingers crossed for you the 50% goes the right way for you.

Also big hugs for chocs, sorry for your loss :( I hope your day goes easier than expected today. Is it cheaper to fly into somewhere like Scotland or Manchester and get the train? I guess it's a lot more hassle though :(

boo I'm sorry for missing you off yest! I was having the same conversation with DH at the weekend-I feel like we've opened pandora's box and we'll never not be ttc ever again... Hehe pandora's box, that's what the boys at school used to call fanjos Grin. also asking if you could borrow a rubber was hilarious as you were clearly asking to borrow a condom hahaha.

PinkFondantFancy · 21/10/2010 08:01

Has anyone researching their family tree found they are related to anyone (in)famous?? Apparently I'm related to fletcher Christian who started the mutiny on the bounty-family reckon it explains a lot hehe.

youremindmeofthebat · 21/10/2010 08:53

PFF I am quite impressed by them calling it "pandora's box". That seems quite an elevated term when one compares it to muff, minge etc.

chocky so sorry for your loss. Sending you and family hugs xx

wombat that's a bit of a PITA.

pretty Sorry, I didn't mean to shame you! Lovely to see you back, and glad to hear the hands are feeling a lickle better. Still splinted, or not?

Yey to velvet about ofsted, bet that's a weight off! Is work still grim, or getting better, you were having trouble a little while back?

Spiced Cider is sounding fab. It's bloody freezing too, so could be just what I need. I wish I wasn't at work today!

Hope everyone else is ok! sending hot water bottles and hot chocolate!

owlshoes · 21/10/2010 09:59

Aw, Choccy v.sorry to hear about your bad news, hope you are okay.

Dachs sorry also to hear about your little doggie, hope he's doing alright.

PFF yes; I remember when we began TTC it was all "righto, we'll just shag and see what happens" but post-mc the charting and counting and POASing began and now I can't put it down :( I feel like if I do I might randomly ovulate in a different week or something. And thus the mentalling begins....

Bat I think we need to do the Alpine thing and add some cognac to that hot chocolate. Grin

Wombat33 · 21/10/2010 10:44

Chocky so sorry about your sad news. I hope you manage to make it hopme okay and to celebrate her amzingly long life despite the sadness. Good luck with the presentation. xxx

Nicks Hope the lurgy b####rs off soon!

Good morning to everyone else! Hope you all have lovely days and enjoy the sunshine :) Mine's going to be busy so if you see me on here, tell me to get on with my work!! [hgrin]

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 11:23

No sunshine here wombo miserable and cold, heating on full!! Frozzen last night i was!

owls & PFF i remember those conversations, trying not to conceive but not trying to if that makes sense, now MC has happened i am turned into a woman possessed!! CANNOT miss the window, according to DH he is gonna diarise my symptoms also so he can tell me when i am ov... as last month i was Ov five times during the month!!

I would love to trace my family tree, i think my auntie has started to do it, but sadly not related to anyone famous, although an old school friend i know traced hers back to william shakespeare (i think it was him... seems a distant memory) So Fondant you cant be blamed for being mutinous, its in your genes [hgrin] Izz when you watch who am i on TV and you see how many children women had that didnt survive their conditions its very sad. Without medicine now some babies wouldnt be conceived, or survive these days [hsad]

Feeling a litle more hooman now thanks guys, lots of coffee...defo wont be implanted this month then!! Lots of love and big hugs to those who need it - im off to try and carry on in the bedroom, sadly not nookie but yet more decorating. Not even got to wallpapering yet :(

MamaPower · 21/10/2010 12:59

OMG! Can feel mammoth post coming on to catch up with you all (was too busy falling out with DH last night to post)!

Choccy, so sorry to hear your news, lots of love to you x

Dachs, sorry to hear about muttley, let's hope it's not worst case scenario. I dread the day my pup becomes seriously ill!

Wombat, hope the swabs they take tomorrow are conclusive this time.

Velvet, well done on ofsted and boo to the knob at work, what a tosser!

Caribou, fab news honey, may your bean be happy and snug for the next 2 trimesters.

Pretty glad hands are on the mend. BTW, Myra Mains! LMAO [hgrin]

Izzy, I gave up on all the charting, was stressing me out and making sex a boring mechanical job 'to do'! We just make sure that during the fertile period we SWI at least every other day! Having said that, seeing LadyB's post, I totally agree...you can never truly stop 'watching' in some way or other!

Tigger, good to see you around. Have you heard from SarahMia?

Mouse, this is the only time I shall applaud a negative hpt! Hopefully not long before you can start ttc Smile

AandR, off to Melbourne, plus a few days in Sydney and we're stopping at KL for two nights on way out and way home....I shall come back twice the size seeing as I have a small obsession with Satay!! [hgrin]

Inbetweener, did you see the inbetweeners this week, I haven't laughed so much at a TV comedy for ages...it was priceless!

Waves to Owl, Pink, YRMOTB, Jam, MummyA, Apple, knitter and all I've probably missed!

I had a wobble yesterday! Thought to myself that after all my efforts, I wasn't going to be upduffed this cycle, and I never would be and I wouldn't be before my EDD and would it ever happen??!! yada yada yada! You've heard it all before. Think I was having a pity party because for some reason I really had it in my head, this would be the month, don't know why and perhaps it will be... 2ww is a pain in the arse!!

! Won't get to catch up tonight as last minute late night shopping for jolly's, catch you all tom [hsmile]

MummyAbroad · 21/10/2010 13:40

Morning all,

Sorry for not catching up personally, finding it hard to jump back in after missing the action for a while.

Just wanted to report on the Red Clover Blossom I've been taking, its been making me feel rubbish! I wasnt sure at first, but I stopped three days ago and am starting to feel better again, so I think that was what was responsible for making me feel really depressed, anxious and tearful! (as if I need more of that!)

Just a little forewarning in case anyone else was thinking about trying it.

Love to all xxx

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 13:49

Ah mamap sorry you were rutting with dh, hope you kiss and make up

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 21/10/2010 14:45

mummyabroad glad you're feeling better after stopping the RCB. I think sometimes we get so carried away with the supposed benefits of all these vitamins and herbs that we don't stop to consider the possibility of any side effects!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 21/10/2010 14:47

Only slight downer from today's appointment is that the acupuncturist advised me to swi morning and night if poss for the next couple of days, so the mammoth shagathon continues chez izzy [hgrin]

MummyAbroad · 21/10/2010 14:50

Thanks Izzy and Nix to be honest I didnt think it was going to have any affect at all, other than being a placebo. Now I have new respect.

So getting back to this fertility show, do you think it is just a giant room full of pee sticks? Grin

Is anyone going (so that you can report back and satisfy my curiosity)? Grin

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 15:20

Sorry on here so much today. Really pissed off. Have streaky discharge which either means the silly cow nurse test cut me or my period is starting which would give me a very low lp. Ov day 23/24 and Af day 32, not good. Never had that before.

Plus also still incredibly spotty on my cheeks so my self confidence not that great :(

Sorry whinge over Grin

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 15:22

Sorry that was supposed to read silly cow nurse cut me yest < mutters at damn phone>

MamaPower · 21/10/2010 15:42

nix, if, af is starting, it's not all doom and gloom hon. I have a short LP but my progesterone levels are rising after ov to 39 and I have been told by my GP and had it verified by friend GP that as long as the progesterone levels rise to a suitable level the lp is not an issue! I wound myself up like a top about this, I think there is a load of misleading crap on the internet to be honest!!

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 15:49

Ok Ta mama ever the voice if reassurance!! Grin Add that to mid cycle spotting a wk before ov I am confused;(

Think may seek out doc for a chat, but obviously wait to see what it turns out to be!!

Wombat33 · 21/10/2010 16:07

I need some happy news or at least to focus a bit more oon the good things in life. Felling down in the dumps and struggling to pull myself out of it. Anyone got anything cheery they fancy sharing?

I'll start: It was lonely and sunny this morning and the sun had melted all the frost on my car windscreen so I got to the station earlier than I thought and had time to get a cup of tea to drink on the train :)

Wombat33 · 21/10/2010 16:13

Talk about Freudian slip!!!! I meant: 'It was a LOVELY and sunny morning'. D'oh!! BlushHmmGrin

owlshoes · 21/10/2010 16:31

Aw, womble . Happy things is a good idea, I too am majorly down in the dumps as SIL is up the duff and they are considerably younger than I am as well which makes me feel like an old bugger.

BUT: Happy thoughts! It's the end of my working week in half an hour, and tomorrow I shall go shopping for a new pair of boots :)

Wombat33 · 21/10/2010 17:00

Hugs owl. Sorry SIL's news feels crap for you. I totally know what you mean. xxx

Nicks sorry to hear you're bleeding. Hopefully it will all sort out soon. I do hope it wasn't the nurse cutting you that caused it!!

Wombat33 · 21/10/2010 17:02

PS Ooh Owl what kind of boots?

nickstermum · 21/10/2010 17:38

We are just about to sit down for home made pie and mash hearty food fir cold weather. Hope that warms your cockles wobbles xx
