afternoon everyone,
Gos you were all busy chatting this weekend. i cant keep up !
Suffice to say the fainting sounds horrid for all of you !Sad

As for me, well I am now 2 days late and no sign of AF ?? Havent a clue what is happening. I havent tested since saturday mornings BFN and dont have any inclination too as I know what it will be.
I havent a clue where my AF has gone though ! Im usually regular as clock work !

If my cycle has suddenly got longer does this mean I wouldnt have ovulated when I thought then as I have always had a 28 day cycle and used a calculator ( basic I know ) to work out when I ovulate. That clearly didnt work hence the BFN !!!

Im all confused. Good job I bought the OPK's !! Now need AF to appear so I can get started !!!

Unless of course there is a minute chance I am pg ? I mean if I miscalculated and ovulated later then who knows ??
Confused

Straws.............clutching.........who me !!

goatsarefabthinksnix · 08/11/2010 12:53

Who has the fish?? Get it ready for me - 7dpo and spotting!!

Rach I had the fainting big time for 2 weeks after mc! I fainted 3 times (different occasions) whilst having a poo Confused (tmi)

goatsarefabthinksnix · 08/11/2010 18:04

Ooh sounds good velvet! Keeping crossed:)

PinkFondantFancy · 08/11/2010 18:29

velvet I am most certainly not going to give you a slap, it sounds suspiciously like a real sign to me!!

inbetweener sorry you're in limbo, I'm afraid this cycle, and quite a few more going on my experience will be completely mental and unpredictable....

bonfire if no sign of AF it's all good!!

Nothing exciting going on over here, am either 2 weeks DPO or 4 days DPO depending on whether you take FFs first or second attempt at pinpointing ov.... Only symptom to spot here is tingly boobs (also a PMT sign from experience) and really fancying an egg Mayo sardine which I'm not sure actually counts.... Also had weird period pain style cramps for a couple of days. Probably wind tho! So have decided to test in 2 weeks if AF hasn't rocked up and temps still high, don't need the stress of neg tests... Really good mate who had mc earlier this year had a successful 12 week scan today so feeling both Grin and Envy simultaneously....

PinkFondantFancy · 08/11/2010 18:32

egg Mayo sarnie actually!, reckon fancying eggy sardines would defo be a sign!!!

PinkFondantFancy · 08/11/2010 18:34

egg Mayo sarnie actually!, reckon fancying eggy sardines would defo be a sign!!!

Wombat33 · 08/11/2010 18:42

Eggy sardines Hmm bleurgh!!! :)

Hello all and welcome to the newbies xxx

Day 5 here and everything noormal. My DH is away for the week though so i hope I'm not one of those women who ov particularly early in their cycle. He's due to be home from CD10 to CD18 (he's scheduled his work trips especially to try to be home for ov!!), so hope my body complies. I usually ov around CD18 I think... We'll see.

PS if anyone needs a little pick-me-up (and boy do I - I've been such a miserable mess recently) Starbucks new Peppermint Mocha is devine!!! (and no, I don't work for them!! :)

Velvetcu · 08/11/2010 19:05

egg mayo sardines....just saying it makes me want to gag!

Wombat are starbucks doing their xmas flavours now?

goatsarefabthinksnix · 08/11/2010 19:09

lets hope she doesnt wack you with an eggy sardine velvet, you will stink! Grin

appleblossoms · 08/11/2010 19:16

Evening all, just a quick post to spread some happines. After working myself up into a right old state involving no sleep last night, scan went really well! 8.5 week baby blob with a BEAUTIFUL heartbeat. Burst into tears when I saw it!
I then proceeded to spend the morning throwing up and this afternoon feeling sick in bed. Luckily DH came home from work to look after ds.
I have my fingers crossed for all of you, will keep checking back to see how you're doing. And welcome newbies, these ladies have been my safety net these last 5 months...you're in good hands here!

DachshundsRule · 08/11/2010 19:17

velvet I think they must be 'cos someone at work came in with an egg nog latte on Friday...

Velvetcu · 08/11/2010 19:33

haha nix that's true! it is definately a symptom-spotting deterrent!

Velvetcu · 08/11/2010 19:33

oh and great news on the scan apple

kat2504 · 08/11/2010 19:37

apple pleased to hear your scan went so well! Am very happy for you. Hope you are feeling better this evening after a rest in bed.

DachshundsRule · 08/11/2010 19:39

apple great to hear the scan went well! If I ever get pg again I'll be terrified of the first scan. Good to know it can go right! Think I'd be joining you in the bursting into tears thing :)

rachk32 · 08/11/2010 19:46

so pleased to hear some good news apple, had a terrible weekend, i think the grief just creeps up on you..
im in a negative head space and cant seem to pull through it at the moment, so any good news is one inch closer to me getting out, if that makes an sense.

PinkFondantFancy · 08/11/2010 19:51

Egg nog latte, bleugh.

Does overwhelming jealousy of every preg woman in the world that actually hurts my stomach count as a symptom?? :(

rachk32 · 08/11/2010 19:53

im sure its a symptom of grief pink chin up... Smile

mousebacon · 08/11/2010 20:03

Hi ladies thanks so much for all the advice about the spotting. I'm such an impatient person! I just want to ov, symptom spot etc etc!

nix I've only just realised how similar our circumstances are - my DS is also 3 and longs for a sibling. We were out shopping yesterday and he pointed out a babygro and said 'shall we get that for our baby?' He didn't know anything about the pg I just lost (thank god) but it's so hard isn't it. I do feel like I'm depriving him. Do you worry about the age gap?

I've just had the second negative result from my MRSA re-screening so that's positive. Just one more to go!

How did the meeting go this morning pink ? I've got one tomorrow too. Really not looking forward to it as I think the head and the deputy will be ganging up on me about how 'far behind we are' and action planning etc etc. I only went back last week and have already had several 'comments.' Not helpful! Hmm I will be mostly trying not to cry!

dachs mummya thinking of you both x

AandRMum · 08/11/2010 20:11

Wonderful news apples. I am petrified about next scan which is such a shame as I used to love going to the scans.
Betweener I am going to keep my suspenders on just in case ... and velvet here's hoping an egg has just skidded to a halt for a firm implantation.

rachk32 sorry you are feeling a little rocky at the moment. It is strange how it creeps up on you every now and then.

I just found out the wife of a friend had a mc earlier this year in Hong Kong. She is really struggling to come to terms with it as noone is willing to talk about it. Makes me realise how lucky we are to have threads like this! So thank you lovely ladies!

wombat33 how great your dh is committed! I haven't tested dhs commitment yet as we are only on cycle 1 - will see what happens when we have been trying for a bit longer.

Velvetcu · 08/11/2010 20:17

Mouse are you a teacher too?

HidingInTheBackRow · 08/11/2010 20:17

Hello everyone! Just thought I would check in and say hi. I have just spent the last hour catching up on the posts but of course I now can't remember anything of anything Hmm

So can we all just pretend that I have said exactly the right responses to all posts Wink

I am hoping I might actually be getting some AF symptoms (I know, the only person on the boards hoping their AF will start!). Had some cramping and also my own personal wierd AF symptom: really runny eyes when cooking. So fingers crossed I can start my next cycle soon and get temping again.

Anyways...just thought i would add myself to the list while I am here:
