Evening ladies just catching up......
izzy this was my first time using opk's also from amazon... Really had no clue what to look for...so I started when the instructions said...& I lined them all up on the bathroom shelf & put date/time on them. This really helped as the line indicating a rise was not a really thick dark line like the test line... Did them 2 a day till FF confirmed ovulation!!!

And it worked BFP today!!!!!! Dh was in bits when I told him....still don't quite believe it myself. Long road ahead just so thankfull we are over the first mountain. Offto catch up with all the other posts hopeing for some more good news!!!!!!

PinkFondantFancy · 01/11/2010 20:39

digi mine was 4 weeks after neg test, 9 weeks after MC :(

aandr are you building your own house from scratch? That is very exciting!

inbetweener step away from the tests, they have a horrible habit of bringing doom, which might be completely unnecessary if you're testing too soon. I've made a pact with myself not to test until 18 dpo- we'll how long that lasts!!

Hi rach sorry for your loss :(

I hadn't heard about lily Allen, that's so sad :( I think that's her 2nd mc, I know she had one a few years ago.

I'm always too excited to look at thermometer later-want to know straight away and see what the graph looks like!! Such a freak! Then when DH is out of the shower I'm like "want to see my chart???", he is very sweet and obliging :)

Hehe about the £1.25 jeans!! Do they do them in grown up size too??? Bargainius!!

Just on way home from work so dinner and straight to bed for me :( feeling like a bit of a loser today, heard about more people that got pg straight off th pill and carried to term :( boooooooo.

O girls thank you all so much XXXXXXXX
So so sad about lilly....I just had my erpc when I found out about her happy news....& now Jesus here we are again.....bloody hell goose bumps......
Hi digi for your poll erpc 7th sept af 5th oct although I did not have required 21 days free of all spotting etc but I suffer from cervix erosion (something to do with the cells there being super sensitive the slighest touch & I get some bleeding)
izzy times for opk's were a bit all over the place due to work but usually at lunch 12pm/3pm & when I finished 5pm/8pm. Live 10 mins from work so go home for lunch....
kat loved your tips for opking on the go!!!!
pink sorry you had a crap day enjoy your dinner & fx tomorrow is brighter..

Just to throw something into the mix re temping. I do mine in the evening!!!!! Start work at silly times & like pink i like to have a good look at what's going on straight away.

WAVES TO ALL

Urbanlolly · 01/11/2010 21:46

Sorry rach forgot to welcome you.... Your def in the best place everyone is FAB!
But be warned it's hard to keep up!!! They don't half chatter!!!!! So just pop in and out as you like....! xxx

AandRMum · 01/11/2010 21:48

Lolly wonderful news - so excited to see a bfp. Good luck all the POASs

Yep we are building from scratch - if we ever get planning permission. It is like waiting for two bfps

Ladybee · 01/11/2010 22:13

Well, my week at home on poo duty has ended - hoorah! I think it went quite well , DS is now telling us that he needs the potty and getting there in time probably 3/4 of the time.

Anyway...enough of that...

Horrendous news for Lily Allen, that's so cruel, especially having to be in the public eye. Poor thing.

Tigger I don't think that variation would be officially classed as 'irregular' but you should definitely keep a record of the spans. Are you able to get Friday off and go to the Infertility 'show' (why do I imagine that as having high-kicking dance line). There were some sessions that looked interesting about choosing clinics, getting NHS help etc that might be a good starting point. Equally the infertility network website might be helpful. I think you just need to research who you want to see - I guess you'd do best to look for someone with some experience in fertility & diabetes etc and then just ask about the procedure. I expect if you're paying they should be more forthcoming with info? The ladies on the assisted reproduction thread would know if you can face asking them. Let us know how you get on.

Pink - I had the same two months ago, all highs, no peaks. The next month I had no highs, then two peaks. This month I had two highs then two peaks and a high. Honestly, I do just think it takes a little while to learn what your normal levels are. And if you have a really short surge, you could miss it.
Your chart does look right to me though, the peak last Sunday (36.4) looks like an anomaly, and there's a definite temp rise. Plus looks like the ol' EWCM is gone so I think you're done. The 'Highs' might just be registering your normal background level of estrogen? I'd just start using the same stick if it keeps asking for tests.

Izzy - it sometimes take me a while to register a temp rise after ovulation. And the peak doesn't mean you have ovulated but are going to sometime in the next couple of days. I think a three day gap between first peak and temp rise sounds about right.

I'm trying really hard not to get too bound up in pinpointing ov though, as we all know that you can do the deed at the right time and still not get pg - and that is sooooo depressing. Not that I had much say in it this month. DH and I pretty much loathed each other right up until last weekend. Fortunately I seem to have ovulated a little later this month so all is not lost - but I felt almost relieved at the prospect of missing the window. Just the idea of another negative is daunting right now.

GetDown (and digi) I can only speak from my experience, but I'm pretty sure I ovulated in the WTF cycle, it took about 10 days from end of bleeding to get a -ve and then it like a normal cycle but with those 10 days added on at the front.

MummyAbroad I have everything crossed for you that the pill does it's business and it all gets back to normal asap.

kat I'm amazed. You peed in a tampon wrapper??

inbetweener here's hoping it was just too early, but do try to prepare yourself for the disappointment if it didn't work out. Maybe book a night out with a close girlfriend for early on and have a good few drinks lined up.

welcome rach, I think that if you feel ready you may as well start after that 4 week post-rubella delay. Oh and try not to panic about the age thing. There's nothing you can do about it so absolutely no point in adding it to the burdens - there's enough to worry about Smile

Velvet my temp range is normally about 36.2 in low, going up to 36.6 for highs.

and finally.....so pleased I clicked refresh!!!

Velvetcu · 01/11/2010 22:38

Congrats urbanlolly :)

I really hope you have set the trend for this month!

PinkFondantFancy · 02/11/2010 06:05

lolly I've just scrolled back and my phone post doesn't look very enthusiastic but (((huge squishy hugs))) but I am!! Grin I have everything crossed for the most super boring 8 months ever (in the best possible way) Whoop!

skeletalnix · 02/11/2010 07:27

Morning all. Lolly you have inspired me this morning! Ds is working his magic on dh by asking him for a baby brother (go ds) reducing daddy to tears yesterday! Here's hoping he will act on it during fertile time :)

Incidentally has anyone read the grads thread lately? Deeply saddened to read about louise on there. She is in my thoughts. Wanted to post, but didn't so I will do it on here instead ! :(

OrangeToeNails · 02/11/2010 08:27

Amazing news urban :) It cheers me up to hear good news :) :)

Is there a waiting ttc stats, and how do I add myself? I had mc 15th Oct and waiting for af before ttc #1. Can I ask a random question? Has everyone's cycles return to pre-mc length? Mine was 35 and was hoping I might get shorter and more chances! Mr Orange is away in a few weeks and am worrying I'll miss my ov chance when not even had af yet! Have already bought ov sticks, pg tests, preseed, BBT thermometer and grapefruit juice. Phew! Anything else? Impatient, moi?! I got lucky last time, but a mc has changed everything

youremindmeofthebabe · 02/11/2010 08:48

NICKS -didn't mean to shout- I'm not testing til Saturday, I will still only be day 29 then, but have a wedding in the evening. Gonna use FMU too. The brown stuff was 4 days in total, now all gone. Am wildly symptom spotting, and probably setting myself up for a huge fallSad Have decided that if I's not updiffed this month, will probably have xmas off, I've got soo much going on atm. Probably. Maybe I'm just kidding myself.

orange My cycles are nearly at pre mc length, although I haven't lost any days, post mc was about 33 days, and had a 8 week cycle, then a 40 day, then 38 day, then 33 day, so getting better. Mine was a mmc and erpc after 12 weeks scan though. yours may not be that bad!

digi My first period was 2 calendar months after erpc.

I read about louise too. Such terribly sad news.
