BrownB are you ok? Hope you're doing alright and that you get the news you want before long...

We can take you off the stats if you want, but please still feel free to pop in whenever you want if you need a chat x

pv hope you're doing ok too, lovely. I can understand the needing a break over Christmas and hope you have a lovely relaxing time (and that you're back before long - hopefully with a bfp!) Smile. Take care and do keep popping in to let us know how you're doing x

mummya yay re bleeding!! (only in here could I write that!). Fx it turns into proper AF soon!!!

batfink - any news?! anymore symptoms to spot??

GetDownYouWillFall · 28/10/2010 09:34

thanks all for the welcome pack of chocs and wine.

I had a rather nice glass of rioja last night and fell asleep in front of the apprentice so never got to see who went Angry

Had some sleep but woke up at 5am and couldn't get back off - annoying. Had to get up to change pad anyway Sad I guess you are not supposed to use tampons?

Am going to have to make a sad trip to the shops to get more pads. Am down to my last one. Was really hoping to not have to buy any more for some time!

Hope you are all doing ok today
x

Morning all :)

BrownB it's no fun being stuck at the top of the list, is it? I took myself off it completely for a bit which I found helped, but still lurked in here for the good company :)

MummyA Whoop! Fingers crossed things are getting back to normal for you at last.

PV Eating (and drinking) whatever you want during the festive season sounds like a top idea as does a break from 2WW mentalling - hope it does you a world of good and you get our first 2011 bfp!

Was it Nicks who wanted to do a name change for halloween? If so, you just change your username under the 'my mumsnet' bit.

PFF To be fair I did purchase some ebay cheapies but they haven't arrived yet :) Basically if it's in the house I'll pee on it, regardless of reason, DPO, etc - which is why I ran out in the first place Grin Am sure AF will arrive today or tomorrow as I am lucky enough to have a cycle one could set one's watch by - and I don't feel remotely up the duff, sadly. Never mind, at least the holiday SWI was good fun.

owlgiblets · 28/10/2010 09:37

PS. Dachs if you're out there, hope you're doing okay my lovely ((squish))

GetDownYouWillFall · 28/10/2010 09:51

sorry for my ignorance, is the "WTF" cycle the one straight after the MC? And what is the "W" in WTTC?

Going to add my stats but don't really understand

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/10/2010 10:03

getdown yes WTF is straight after MC as it seems that anything can happen in that cycle! WTTC = waiting to ttc.

If you're joining the main ttc list, just slot yourself in according to your current cycle day.

Hope you're doing ok today, it's a horrid time and we're thinking of you x

GetDownYouWillFall · 28/10/2010 10:25

thanks Izzy I do feel a bit better today. Mercifully I had some sleep so feeling fresher.

The worst times for me are going to the toilet, the rest of the time I just seem to be able to put it out of my mind, but seeing it in the loo you cannot ignore Sad

Blimey I have no idea what to expect with my WTF cycle then! My cycle is weird at the best of times (anywhere from 27 to 44 days!!) so who knows what joys my body will throw into the mix.

So here I am:

GetDownYouWillFall TTC#2 Cycle 1 (post MC#1) UCL 27 - 44 CD2 AF due - who knows.

nickstermum · 28/10/2010 10:47

Love the noo name Nickster
Clever girl!
I meant to post how to do it last week but tunnels, work and doing my face on the train it slipped my mind.

Although I'm holding off which of course means I'll be diffed next month can I still keep my stats up.
Ta la's x

Velvetcu · 28/10/2010 11:12

fx that its AF mummyA!

I am gearing up for the shagfest too. Since I have no idea whats going on I thought day 12-25 would be the best bet - do you agree??

DH says I have to get the naughty undies out but I say why does it have to be me who does the turning on?? He has a permanent boner anyway, you only have to mention his bits and it is standing to attention.

Nicks I too have the beginnings of a graph and from what I can tell its quite normal atm. But, those in the know please help me, how are you supposed to predict ov and therefore SWI if you only get a temp rise after it happens?

Have a good day everyone else

inbetweener · 28/10/2010 11:25

Morning all,

Only doing a half day at work today as I am actually going to get to spend a bit of time with dd2 during half term. dd1 has been at brownie camp so I can only imagine what she has been up to.

getdown hope the beeding eases soon and welcome. I havent been here long either I only mc last cycle but have just decided to jump straight in on the ttc again. Only trouble is I havent a clue what my body is doing !!

So its cd19 for me today. I have just looked and we have dtd on days 8,9,12,13,14,15,and 18 so far. According to ov calender days 13-15 were my most fertile but I dont test ( yet Blush) so you never know ????? I dont feel very optimistic thogh and I dont have any symptoms I dont think. Sigh to be honest I feel really meh about it this month. I juts cant see it happening for some reason. My DH said similar to the sperm comment last night too, he saw the stock of first response pg test I have in the bathroom cabinet ( they were buy one get one free whats a girl to do !! Blush) and said " once you are impregnated you arent going to need me any more are you !!" oooooooops.

Anyway, better do some work I guess.
I have such a bad headache today .

inbetweener · 28/10/2010 11:29

Do any of you agree with the findings of the ov calenders on here by they way ? velvet thats way more shagging then I have been doing so maybe thats where im going worng. I have only been doing it ( see above ) the days I am likely to be fertile. maybe I should just continue till the 5th of November when I am due. Like yours, its not like DH will need any persuading .....Hmm.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 28/10/2010 11:33

Right pv have put you back on main list although have removed cycle day as have lost track of where you are (moved you to next cycle though as it didn't look right!) and wasn't sure whether you wanted to keep updating - but change it or post current stats if you want to keep them ticking round x

GetDownYouWillFall · 28/10/2010 11:48

thanks Izzy for adding me Smile

Waves to Veletcu and everyone else.

mousebacon · 28/10/2010 11:57

Hi ladies, welcome getdown Smile

I'm so bored of this WTF cycle now - I don't even have any cm to chart! Have been rubbish at taking my temp this week but should be better next week when I have to start setting my alarm clock again!

Good luck mummya hope it is AF.

[hgrin] Off to buy pumpkins xx

MummyAbroad · 28/10/2010 14:05

Pretty, hope you enjoy your time off. I must say after the big trantrum about the enforced pill taking I am actually feeling much calmer and happier now that the stress of TTC has been removed. Hope it relaxes you too (and you get a sneaky BFP creep up on you when you are not looking!) Keep us updated!

Getdown, yes, you have to use pads not tampons and avoid baths too until you stop bleeding and the risk of infection has dropped. Its rotton being reminded of whats going on with every loo trip. Sad Hope its over soon. xxx

inbetweener I think you will be glad of the extra HPT purchases. Many women who have an mc and then got pregnant again, like to do a few tests in the early weeks to see if the pregnancy hormones are still there and get a bit of extra reassurance that all is well. Having said that, most of us cant keep extra supplies in the house for very long, the urge to test gets so strong you need iron strength will power (if this happens to you, I seriously recommend buying packs of cheap tests of Amazon (25 for 5 pounds) otherwise you will risk bankrupcy!)
By the way, I use fertilityfriend.com to record SWI info, it makes it all very clear to see if your timing is right. Even if you dont temp you can use the overide feature to put in when you think you ovulated and it calculates if your timing was good or not.

Velvet good luck at shagfest - Its fair play for us to make requests from the gents too you know, I am now insisting on being wined and dined first. Smile
You are right about the temps, you cant use them to predict ov (but as you go on you will start to see a pattern) Its most useful for knowing when you can STOP SWI - and also knowing what your lutueal phase is and how good your timing was. I found the best way to predict was cervix checking and then using OPK's when I noticed a difference. This still wasnt accurate though because I ovulated three days after that!

PrettyMyraMains · 28/10/2010 15:31

Fanks Nicks [hgrin]

skeletalnix · 28/10/2010 16:41

[hgrin]

question - who out there has started to use Tampons post MC? I darent even though i hate pads and suffered the total & utter mortification of a leakage today in a meeting (TMI [hblush] [hblush] [hblush]) I still cannot bring myself to put one in?! The one and only time i did it was so painful i cried. (i am now bacteria free.... no i am not dirty [hhmm] just imbalanced!) I think i am scarred................ [hbiscuit]

A special halloween treat! Sing along....[hgrin]
