The (updated) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday. Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). Horse-riding and other dangerous activities are also actively encouraged.

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at ever opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronmyage to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed. If you're a midwife, you can even get other midwives to furkle for you Grin

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

Miffles, I'm reading. I've just run out of things to say!! Well unless you count that my recent loo break = no sign of ERTD. Which is good. But it's not due till about Tuesday anyway Hmm.

TMI???

Miffles · 15/10/2010 16:28

Nelly - I think my singing the Womble Song showed I haven't much to say either, but am bored at work!! Will escape soon. I don't even have the excitement of date when POAS would be acceptable!!

Weekend plans??

Miffles · 15/10/2010 16:29

(and there is never TMI on this thread!) Wink

NervousNelly · 15/10/2010 16:33

Hmm well OH away tonight so will be stealing josies bath/candles/book suggestion. Then partaking in dangerous activities for much of the weekend Grin. oh and cutting grass and weeding. Lots. Oh the joys of a big garden Hmm.

Might squeeze in some JS if I'm lucky Wink

vallinnapod · 15/10/2010 16:35

God lord viroids, today's been busy! I haven't had chance to read all as had my first acupuncture today (Ouchy and relaxing so we'll see) and the nurses/pre-op appointment. All fine, just annoying at only being 3 days into my pill so about 21 days until we can start!

Oh and there is a nationwide shortage of the sniffy drung so I get to inject that too...wooohooo!

Off for a dirty w/e with DH hence the flying visits (sorry, I like I how I decided to clarify DH!! It's like I tried Daniel Craig but he was busy Wink

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 16:36

I haven't much to say either but I am mentally incapable of doing a certain amount of work without a non work-related intervention Grin

What sort of dangerous activites are you doing Nervous?

In the spirit of TMI Grin I have been fanjo-furkling but still no sign.....

vallinnapod · 15/10/2010 16:36

DRUNG??!! Gotta go!

Miffles · 15/10/2010 16:44

ooo...a dirty w/e with Daniel Craig DH. That sounds great. My DH will be dirty after his rugby, but not in a good way!!

Glad the chat with the nurse was ok, Vallinna although I don't like the sound of injecting things. Although sniffy didn't sound very effective, tbh!

Fanjo-furkling...that is brave! I'm not sure I'd have had the guts to do that! But in the absence of sticks, what's a viroid to do?

takethatlady · 15/10/2010 16:44

Thanks spareroom. Hope your DH does the right thing and says sorry for whatever it is Grin (It's got to be his fault, obviously!)

vallinna hope that dirty weekend goes well Wink I was going for cocktails but my friend says she's been out every night and do I want to come over for dinner instead. Pleased as don't have to pretend to drink cocktails now but also trying to put her off to next week so I can spend the evening procuring and peeing on sticks Grin Going shopping and for lunch on Sunday with my oldest and dearest friends, who I don't see enough, and two of them are about 7 months preggo. Another can't make it 'cos she has an 8 week old baby. I so want to be armed with a secret BFP!

Apart from that? Watching X Factor, Strictly Come Dancing, The Cube, and Downton Abbey, and desperately trying to think of something to say about Wordsworth before Monday morning Grin

NervousNelly · 15/10/2010 16:48

same as you Josie :) (oh and not the POAS variety)

Loving the idea of vallina having a dirty w/e with Daniel Craig Grin. Don't tire him out will you!

baby2b · 15/10/2010 16:56

AF arrived this morning whilst at work, spent my break crying in the toilet. Gutted

Just waiting on dh getting home to go out for dinner and drink a bucket load of wine.

Hope everyone else is having a better day!

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 17:08

Oh no B2B, so sorry, if my ERTD arrives today I too will be crying in the toilet. Big hugs. Enjoy dinner and wine though.

Glad to see I'm no the only fanjo-furkler Nervous Grin

Share the Daniel Craig please Vallinna, even just a look at his washboard stomach will do thanks! Grin

Hedgeblunder · 15/10/2010 17:10

Miffles- oooh I like the song! My dp's a rugby boy too -I think I just needed someone who's thighs will always be bigger than mine Grin
I'm having my induction for my new job tomorrow, eek! Must try hard not to swear or laugh like a drain and be generally super happy clappy all day, even though I'm suffering the red fecker! If I was you I'd stay in bed all day Reading magazines and eating!

Nobody knows we're ttc, I told my mum about the PCOS and she said 'well, victoria beckham had that ' I truly felt like screaming 'yes but she's got FOUR kids and squillions of pounds to pay for all the ivf and she's a nasty mum who flaunts her epileptic kid in front of paps all day!!!!' ahem...

Josie- if there is an iPhone near by you could pee on that, there's meant to be an app got everything after all!

Welcome brokeoven!

Baby2be- we're on the same cd, high five!

Brassica-hope you're ok!

Vanillainapod- oooh I reckon your dh IS actually Daniel craig, lucky cow.where are you off to? Monaco? The Maldives?

I'm doing much the same as takethatlady and nervousnelly, I am quite dissappointed that I don't fancy anyone on the x factor this year. Bugger.

NervousNelly · 15/10/2010 17:14

Shit baby2b that's rubbish and pants and arse biscuits Angry.

Wine is a small but critical part of the process. Drink lots .

NervousNelly · 15/10/2010 17:18

Oh josie I feel the need to clarify Blush. Same as you meant my dangerous activity was the same sport as you Grin

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 17:21

PMSL Nervous, sorry! Blush Sounds good though, I will be doing it too but no falling off this time! Will be terrified though if I get a BFP in the morning, think I may cancel hack out with friend in case the jiggling could cause any damage early on Hmm

Listen to me! You'd think I'd had a BFP already. You're all going to be so disappointed when red-fecker arrives!

Hedge I don't have an i-phone, luckily or I may have believed you and peed on it I'm so neurotic at the moment! GrinGrin

KC11 · 15/10/2010 17:36

My crush is on Jake Humphrey from Formula 1 motor racing. He can do no wrong in my eyes. Even hearing his voice on the radio or on the lounge TV (cos i listen from the kitchen) is cool. other ideal men include James Martin. He's so capable in the kitchen and my DH can't won't cook. I've love to be cooked for regularly and spoilt and made to feel special.

KC11 · 15/10/2010 17:41

baby2B So sorry for you. forgive me for crap memory as you trying naturally or assisted?

My AF arrived early hours today. Had a cry to myself whilst waiting for bath to run. Then had to pull myself together and get ready for work and carry on as normal. A couple of work colleagues know i'm having trouble conceiving but I don't go into much detail as i'd spend the whole day blubbing. It's frustration more than upset. Does that ring bells with anyone? i just want what should happen naturally. The women who conceive and carry to term and have heathy babies don't have a clue about the world we live in. My SIL has recently had baby. I am being happy auntie and adore her baby. Every baby cuddle i get i keep reminding myself this is practice that will come in useful one day.

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 17:44

Oh KC11 so sorry Sad Frustration totally sums it up. It must be difficult with SiL having a new baby too, although I bet baby hugs help a little Smile

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 15/10/2010 17:46

I popped in early afternoon and thought you lot had gone mental then (and so did my puter hence radio silence), but blimey viroids! What a day!

Grin's at Josie's uber mentalness and also the womble song. Not sure where the sore womble comes in though. Think I missed somethings along the way.

More newbies?!Fanjo-furkling must be a great advertisement Grin, Hello at make yourself comfortable. Hope you've all got you're shag-capes on Grin

well I'm busy cooking up a storm for a picnic tomorrow (as well as Josie's mushroom and chicken pizza). Not an X-Factor fan, so will prolly cuddle up with DH and watch Knocked Up instead Grin

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 17:49

Hee hee NoMore, glad I can make you giggle still! I was way too calm last cycle and then recently with this one, hope I have done you proud this time Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 15/10/2010 17:52

So Josie| it's nearly 6pm. Anything? and have you rung the hairdressers yet? Grin

Wonder how Brassica is doing?!

JosieSmith1 · 15/10/2010 17:59

NoMore hairdresser is booked for 9.30am! If I get a BFP in the morning I may have to tell her as she's pg too and she said my thick hair would go even thicker if I was pg so she might just pass out at the though of it! Grin

Still absolutely no sign. I am heading off to yard, so will come back on here tonight (I don't normally get on after work but will make a special effort so I can update you whether good or bad). DH is meeting me here so hope he has popped to shop on his way over and bought some tests, though I don't think any of the shops near here sell them

Fingers crossed furklers (wonders what work colleagues would think if they knew I was extreme fanjo-furkling in the toilets!)

BrassicaBabe · 15/10/2010 18:18

Wow viroids! Busy day! Not at work though obviously! Grin

Welcome broken but please put away the kettle! I'm afraid wine is the order of the day around here. We've even done wine in mugs Blush So sorry you've had a difficult time. It sounds like you need a trip to your doc to kick up merry hell! We've learned around here that you don't get anything if you are nice. Forgive me if you've already tried that Blush I don't want to sound like someone on the main board. But you really ought to be seeing a specialist. Until then, hang out, make yourself comfortable Grin

What about womble-furlking?! That sounds like something you could get arrested for! Grin

What's accupuncture like vallinna? I was considering it?

Sorry red-fecker arrived b2 Sad I'm with you on the "bucket of wine" idea!

Well what another fecking day! Phoned GP at 10am to book a telephone appointment to have MC/BFN results read to me. They were supposed to call me back after morning surgery. I phone them at 1245. I'm told that morning surgery is just finishing. I ring back at 1345 and get a bit arsey. "I'm sat here waiting to find out if I'm pg or have mc'ed. Please call me back". They eventually call me back at 1415 to say that the results aren't in yet and that the receptionist had a note to call me and let me know but they must have been too busy! AngryAngryAngryAngry In the mean time I've taken another test. Pretty much a BFN. It's def sooo much fainter than the previous ones.

The mc bleed (as I know it now) started Sat 2nd October and continued until about Sunday 10th. I'd give anything to understand where I am in my cycle. I've had a postive OPK and pantsnot today. But surely I can't be oving now?! I've not had a heavy mc bleed.

I've been googling private GPs. I'm just sick and tired of the soddy treatment. Sadly it doesn't seem like my area is flush with them.

Hedgeblunder · 15/10/2010 18:46

Oh brassica, bloody nobheads, it's sososo insensitive I can't get my head around why anyone would think it's ok to treat you this way.. Grr.
Tell us where your gp lives an we'll go round and slap him with the biggest stinkiest most rotten kippers we can find.

Ooo-er womble furkling! I think its ok as long as it is your own womble!

Nomorechocolate - sorry that's me with the sore womble, my dp wasn't getting the hint a while back when I was moaning that I had stomach cramps and back pain

good luck for the morning josie! Let us know how your hair appt goes too!
