Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed. If you're a midwife, you can even get other midwives to furkle for you

Hello all! Well I'm now 8DPO...wanting to test but know its still too early! Tell me its too early so I don't waste my time and a pee stick please!

Now for imaginary symptom spotting, I wasn't feeling preg but now have had heartburn for no apparent reason and have been feeling some twinges in the region of the baby house.. something or nothing, time will tell. BUT like you BB I'm VERY impatient now... it seems the closer you get to ERTD the harder the wait becomes and the more alluring the pee sticks become. Must resist!

NervousNelly didn't know you were in Edinburgh! I might know you then.. when it comes to this place there are only 2 degrees of seperation, its like a village! Sounds like you might be where I left (RBS?)...I'm now with the new Bank on the block, unfortunately their T&C's aren't like regular Banks. Thanks for all the replies on maternity packages confirms what I thought most people don't just get statutory. Thinking about it companies should be up front on all their benefits not just the obvious as I couldn't ask before I started as you know what would have happended!!

I think it should by my DH on this thread not me . I said to him this evening "shall I buy a little machine that I pee on every morning and it tells us when we can have sex?" His response was somewhat underwhelmed but he's not going to be told by a urine-soaked bit of machinery when to DTD . He's suspicious enough of the internet telling me when to do it. Then I told him how much it costs and he went off into a rant about how people are exploiting women's hopes in order to make money etc etc.
So I won't be buying one of the 23 CBFM's I'm watching on ebay then as far as DH knows anyway--

Eskarina your going to doc next week so they will give you the help you need so probably best to leave the CBFM on the shelf for now, could be expensive waste if you get some kind of help from the doc.

Cremegg I have such a big mouth all my close friends know we're TTC - not family though as my mum would be too excited and want constant updates! I think this does add pressure but they're close and I'd want to talk to them if something good or bad happens. A couple of them have been through TTC, MC and long waits and come out otherside so understand. Unfortunatley one of the others told another group of friends(not as close) when we were at a wedding making me embarrassed she was a bit tiddly on the champers though and realised what she'd done when it came out!! Too much pressure going it alone without talking but that might just be me! Wish you lots of luck for friday! Maybe the boozy night will by thread rules mean its a BFP, here's hoping I'm due Thursday and will on be hols, hopeing its the lovely end to our time in Paris but won't be too diaspointed if not as its only cycle #2 of trying so it would be expected a lot!

dyna and creme Are we going to have a test fest next Saturday then? Or is Friday bettern?! I'm 8DPO today, creme is 7 or 9 DPO dyna is 9DPO today. I'd like to hold off until at least Friday. I did a test yesterday but it was of course BFN at 7DPO. Today I quite easily managed to hold off. So my resolve is back in place.

dyna I'm in IT too. Not in a bank though.

I'm quite grumpy at the moment. DH and I decided that I'd cut back on the alcohol during 2WW. And there is nothing you want more than when someone tells you you can't have something.

Next Sat morn (fri eve for you gals) is gonna be the time for me, as by then the Red Fecker should have arrived. Lol to the test bb, i so wanted to today. Evening ladies. Well i am pretty ertain OH and i missed our chance this month but we've both had a lot on and sleep has takn precident over shagging! It was only month one and more effort will definitely be made next month.

I went to see a leetle ickle baybee today - just 4 days old - and was remarkably sane around him

I had rather rampant and... wait for it... FUN sex last night, just in case anyone was interested :). It was quite refreshing not thinking about dates and everything else. This new attitude might just pay off (for a month) ;)

I have told my mum, dad, sister, some friends (but not all) and DH's mum about us "thinking about trying to have a baby, maybe in February". I have noticed that since we got married people keep asking. Wonder why people ask that, you'd think they'd have more tact as how do they know if you haven't been trying already. Mind you, I am a bit of a heart-on-the-sleeve type so they probably all figured they'd know about it if we'd been trying!

hehe just re read my post,i am clearly nuts! by sleigh ride into work i mean on sunday night i start getting ready/mark some work/plan some lessons so by the time its sunday eve it just feels like its the working week again! lol to craziness... i live in adelaide (and i think its the xmas pageant next wknd so maybe will get real sleigh ride!)

other news... nearly POAS when i got home (had the box out and everything and was v encouraged by 'can test 5-7 days before periods due' but then thought about morning wee rule and backed away from ramekins. close call tho!

I really hope for some BFP's this week, out of 4 of us surely 1 must be preg...sorry for the weird and illogical logic, but kinda not really stands up when you think each will have an approx 20-30% chance if we timed well.. Here's hoping for at least 1!

Nothing going on this end. Still no AF, so still no clomid taken. Half wondering if I could be pg - but that is just craziness. Spotting doesn't tie in with anything. 11 days after one AF, got 2 days of V V light spotting. Unless it was ovulation bleeding (how novel?!) in which case I didn't shag right and am on a 2ww. Dunno. UURRGH!!

If I am symptom making up spotting, then the only thing I have to report is one that matches takethat. I'm a bit bunged up. In hindsight this happened last cycled before I MCed. But I think I'm imagining things.

Yep, it was 9DPO, though I posted the pic on here and nobody could see anything . Nor could DH, he said.

10DPO I did the digital and it said Pregnant 1-2.

Since then, in a bid to convince myself I'm more pregnant than I really am, I've added a couple of days to that, making it 11 and 12DPO that I tested at

DH didn't have to get the next day off as he's a teacher and it was Saturday, so he slept til 12 and then we had our first pregnancy shag . We have been doing other stuff but been a bit reticent about the shagging. It was good. Not as good as milano though, by the sounds of it!

cremegg did you have the scrambled egg on toast? I think this is a perfectly good dinner. To make it even more nutritious I usually add Heinz spaghetti, preferably in alphabetti form . It's one of my favourite dinners.

Only news here is that I am shitting myself about teaching today as I have been too tired to bother to prepare properly (teaching in ten minutes and then again at 11). Luckily I mean that literally, so 10 days of pain appears to be over

The truth is I tested +ive at 10DPO this time, which due to my short luteal phase thingy was the day before period was due. But I don't want to tell you all this as it'll be taken as encouragement to test early. The last 2 +ives came about 18 days DPO and didn't hang around beyond 20DPO. Early testing is EVIL and should be avoided. Keep yourselves in ignorant bliss for as long a possible.

I know what you mean sleepy. This is month 10 for me and cycle 9. I'm already planning with the conversation with the useless consultant on Wednesday when I ring for my day 22 blood tests results where I ask for IVF referral. Sorry for your BFN.

(BESH probably came about in the same way our viroid did. It's the 30s TTC bunch - Barren Evil Selfish Hags. Although I'm sure that's not true! )
