The (updated) 'rules' from our Just Shagging Originator

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday. Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended). Horse-riding and other dangerous activities are also actively encouraged.

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at ever opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Keep acronmyage to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'. Try not to get sucked in by Fertility Friend (at least for a while), but knowing where you are in your cycle and furkling for pant snot is most definitely allowed. If you're a midwife, you can even get other midwives to furkle for you Grin

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Most of these rules are well and truly broken!! But we try to chill - honest

Oops, that wast meant to end with a smile [hgrin]

TTL - crying at Neighbours!!! LOL!! (According to kids at school it is not cool to say LOL anymore but I don't care). I agree with Miffles, you should stay here and contribute to the madness. By the way, I too often enjoy a sneaky McDonald's with obligatory McFlurry Wink

Josie good for you about emailing the POs you work with. I miss living in the North East, so quite jealous.

The thought of NMCB doing pilates in odd positions and giggling is making me giggle!

There are some very strange dreams going on, hope it's not contagious. Maybe it's because we're close to halloween.... [hgrin]

I am feeling quite good as have just had my hair cut and only 3 days until holiday. This thread moves so fast that by the time I come back I am going to have LOADS to read.

Right... need to do laundry. I have a glamorous life.

JosieSmith1 · 22/10/2010 09:11

Morning!

Where do you live now SingingMog? I would hate to leave Newcastle, absolutely love it! I have just had my hair cut and I'm on leave next week so I'm really excited too! And my new GHDs are to die for!!!! [hgrin] Where are you going on your holibobs?

Hope you have a fab time too B2B! See you on the 2ww [hgrin]

PMSL Vallinna [hgrin] Had you been watching x-men by any chance?

I am going to buy a Wonder Woman outfit and wear it to work when colleague leaves [hgrin], nearly cried last night when the full realisation of what I'm going to have to do hit me! Though I have decided I will not be working overtime and if stuff doesn't get done it just doesn't get done.

If I don't get back on today who am I kidding hope everyone has good weekends!

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 22/10/2010 09:32

vallinna am rofling in the office at your car-jacking dream Grin Not quite as disturbing as the sex dream I had about Kurt Russell when heavily pregnant with DS

DH gone off to a music thing for the weekend so no JS for me. Not that it was too likely anyway as I have a cough that makes me sound like I smoke 100 fags a day...mmm, sexeh Hmm

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 22/10/2010 09:43

Grin[hgrin] at your dream Vannilla

Envy at all you viroids going on holidays. Especially if there is warmth and sunshine involved. Guess I'll just have to take comfort in the fact I'm still in my pj's and most of you are at work right about now. [hgrin]

JosieSmith1 · 22/10/2010 10:05

Oh NoMore that's so not fair [hgrin]. I'm off next week but not going away, I will be riding most of the time as my friend is off too, but then trying to finish my last assignment too. I have been up since 6am and will not get home till late as going out tonight. I'm shattered already, might not last the whole night [hgrin]

vallinnapod · 22/10/2010 10:14

DarkStar - I hate the subconcious! I had a really raunchy/sex dream about a guy i work with who I don't in the least fancy...and I didn't have pregnancy to blame!!!

aDarkStarWithStrangeWays · 22/10/2010 10:23

That's even worse vallinna, having to see the person the next day and feel all conflicted. Ugh. That's happened to me before as well, also not when pregnant Blush

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 22/10/2010 10:31

Soo glad I'm not the only one who has disturbing dreams about people I know, but not well enough to want to dream about them!

Josie you'll be pleased to know I'm now fully dressed and pretending to facing the day.

crowette · 22/10/2010 13:19

Good afternoon ladies!

Speaking of dreams, I dreamt that I POAS last night (well, two!) and they were both BFP! It made me pop into town this morning and buy 2 CB digital tests. Although it's highly unlikely I'm pregnant Blush

I'm a week late, had bout of unfinished JSing, so it's probably just my body taking its time returning to normal after the MC.

Hopefully I'll test and if it's BFN then AF won't be far behind Hmm

milanomum · 22/10/2010 13:27

OHHH! crow maybe you're psychic! POAS!!!!

Miffles · 22/10/2010 14:14

Hey all,

Not much to say from this end. Feeling poorly and sorry for myself Sad - coughing and spluttering and wheezing like someone with a 20-a-day habit.

V jealous of these holibobs people are going on...sun...sigh...

Loving the wonder-woman outfit Josie - so do it!

crowette · 22/10/2010 14:43

Just as I thought - BFN. So come on AF, hurry up and stop keeping me waiting!!

JosieSmith1 · 22/10/2010 15:31

Sorry for BFN Crowette Sad I have regular dreams about POAS, usually near ERTD time [hhmm]

JosieSmith1 · 22/10/2010 15:41

Me again, sorry!

I'm off on my holibobs now (well, from work anyway) so I won't be here for a little while but will try and get on sometime during the week, if I don't post I will be lurking [waves]

takethatlady · 22/10/2010 16:26

Have a great holiday josie :)

I am freaking out right now because my sore boobs have totally gone within about 2 hours, which has been accompanied by bad cramps. They're not like period cramps but are up under my rib cage, but they were really bad for about an hour and still sore now. It could just be trapped wind or indigestion or something, but it is accompanied by a sudden and total loss of sore boobs - this is the first time I've had no soreness in my boobs even when I prod them. There's just othing. Absolutely nothing. They were really firm, too, and now they're back to normal.

Sudden loss of symptoms is not a good sign. I just can't take it if this happening again. I know people go through worse but I can't bear to go back to square one with my stupid fucking cycles lasting 7 and 9 weeks, and to lose another pregnancy so early on - twice in two cycles.

Praying right now that this is just me being a drama queen. Somehow I doubt it though...

OP posts:
vallinnapod · 22/10/2010 16:52

TTL - please, please don't worry. I know this is coming from someone who knows bugger all about this whole process but your hormones change soooooooo much over the first few weeks you are bound to have symptoms come and go.

Can you give the docs a call before they all vanish for the w/e to help put your mind at ease?

Wish I could say something more helpful

takethatlady · 22/10/2010 16:56

Thanks vallinna I just called NHS Direct and the nurse said that because I've had upper abdominal pain and no bleeding I should go and get checked in case it's an ectopic.

Obviously she said it may not be and it may just be something digestive or unrelated, but with the loss of pregnancy symptoms too she wants me to be checked.

At least it means I might get an ultrasound or something? I'm not sure what they'll do. So an evening in A&E for me.

I don't want to be a drama queen and over-panic but I just feel like I'm losing it. I hate it how hard this ttc thing is. I have tried so hard not to get excited this time, and I haven't told anyone. Just this afternoon DH texted me to say he couldn't hold his excitement in anymore. So typical.

I'll let you ladies know as soon as I know anything.

vallinnapod · 22/10/2010 17:06

TTL - fingers crossed for red faces all round when you are told it's wind xxxxxxxxx

Miffles · 22/10/2010 17:11

Oh TTL - I totally feel for you and am sending you big hugs - squeeze-so-hard-you-can't-breathe type hugs. Keep calm. It doesn't definitely mean the same as last time or ectopic. Hope you get seen really quickly and your DH is there with you.

milano - have just ordered my pre-seed from Amazon (some internet cheapy HPT sneaked into the basket too!) so am all set to rock and roll once I get my clomid. Did you use the syringy thing? And exactly when, during the deed, did you put it in?! Blush. Ta.

SingingMog · 22/10/2010 17:31

I too know next to nothing about these things, but try not to worry TTL, like you say it may be wind or something. Also make sure you get to A&E early since it is Friday evening, then it will still be quiet.

The dream stories are getting worse guys.... glad I haven't had any gross sex ones. Obviously got it all to come!

I am going to the Costa del Sol Josie. When I lived at uni I lived in Longbenton, Leazes Terrace (next to St James) and Heaton. Then when I came back from living abroad I moved back and lived in North Shields. I live in Preston now, which is good but I do miss it. Sis in law and her family live in Hexham though, so get to visit often Smile Loving Wonder Woman costume idea!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 22/10/2010 17:38

Neh wrote a big reply to you best part of an hour ago now TTL and as my internet connection lost said reply I had a minor emergency happen.

It involved a suggestion of hangry boobs heading south to eat stomach contents and a serious suggestion of ringing GP or NHS direct.
I know how it feels to lose 2 in a row, so really really really hoping it's not happening to you. xxx

milanomum · 22/10/2010 17:41

TTL I really, really hope it's ok. xx

miffs I used the syringey thing but be careful to keep it turned towards the ceiling when prepping because it'll run out if you don't! I put it in just before going to bed and then lay flat so it wouldn't come out! Just use a little to start because it's... well... runny!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 22/10/2010 17:44

Oh helps to catch up on posts! Good to see you've already called NHS Driect. Good luck at A&E.

BrassicaBabe · 22/10/2010 19:07

I've been lurking working so not posting much. But I've been bought out of hiding by takethat.

Lovely, we're all routing that this is just you being mental. Run out of decent words this evening. But ((hugs)), prayers and fingers crossed for you. xx
