Ok I just had a shock, I did a test and was hawk eye watching it and I swear a line started to develop so I put it down then when I picked it up again after 2 mins it Had disappeared and is categorically not there anymore. Def a case of wanting something so bad that you start seeing things!! Confused Dp also confirmed def nothing there. I'm going to the soca monday to see what they think. I actually think af might arrived tomorrow, I'm really crampy now :(

raspberrytipple · 12/11/2010 18:13

Doctor, not soca stupid phone. I'm also going to have a drink tonight, I'm getting really cross with myself Angry

TomboyWife · 12/11/2010 21:19

Aw raspberry, sorry to hear you're still in limbo. A few of my pg tests have freaked me out in that a line looked like it was starting to form, but orientated the wrong way. I think it was just light reflecting off the clear plastic cover.

highheels hooray for yolk sacs! Keep us updated.

ToriaPumpkinHead · 13/11/2010 00:04

HH Glad to hear about your scan! fingers crossed that's the last scare for a healthy pregnancy :)

rapsberry Sorry you're still in limbo lovie.

I'm in Edinburgh with two of my bridesmaids and planning on spending mosof the weekend happily intoxicated. I didn get an absolute shitload of EWCm this evening, whicnbi stypical as I'm far away from OH, but we did the deed less than 48 hours ago, so if this should be me ovulating then we're fine, and if not then I'm enjoying the wine Grin

I ashall come bacn one day whe I can type in a normal fashion, but it won be for a wile, so I hope everyone has a good weekend xxx

raspberrytipple · 13/11/2010 01:02

Haha, toria is drunkie!!! :) :) :)

raspberrytipple · 13/11/2010 08:11

Blimey I was up late!! ERTD got me :( not a happy bunnykins so going shopping with girlie buddies to cheer me. Not that I have any money but hey ho, gotta be done :)

TomboyWife · 13/11/2010 09:05

So sorry raspberry. Sad

TigerseyeMum · 13/11/2010 09:30

Morning all. Glad things are all OK Highheels :)

I am still TTC, plodding on. I am rarely on here as my job has gone ridiculously busy and I work all hours, how we have the energy left to TTC at the right time I have no idea!

Someone I work with is pregnant with her first and everyone is clucking about her. I should not be jealous, I should not be jealous...

Hope everyone is OK, I shall try to catch up but it's been ages Confused

DessieLou · 13/11/2010 11:41

Hello, ladies! Hope you are all ok, like Tigerseye I rarely get on here now so lots of catching up to do! Firstly a big big big congrats to Highheels!!!! So pleased for you!
No news on the TTC front with me. Altough FERTD seems to be settling down a wee bit. We have moved into the in-laws for a month or so 'til we move (can't say I'm enjoying it!). Good news is that we will be gone within the month hopefully...up to sunny Scotland! I'm quite excited as DP's job will mean I can cut down my hours and hopefully give us a bit more of a chance of conceiving. In theory!
Best try and catch up with you lovely lot... Confused Grin

Truffkin · 13/11/2010 12:14

HighHeels great news, hope you feel better about it and the bloods just give you more confidence

Raspberry sorry hon but enjoy the shopping and wine to cheer you up!

Toria very amused at your late night drunken posting! Hope you're having a great time with your girls.

Not much news from me. I'm 3 DPO so will be another week (ish) before any crazy symptom spotting starts! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend, we're out to see Stewart Lee tonight and probably a few bottles glasses of wine. I'm feeling surprisingly chipper considering the quick drink after work turned into several bottles of good Argentinian red followed by a curry at midnight then the night bus home! Happy Saturday people!

That's REALLY greta news highheels!

This is a drive by post as I should really be cleaning the kitchen Hmm.

raspberrytipple · 13/11/2010 15:50

Cheers slow yep I'm cycle day one now :(

Well, shopping didn't go too well. First thing best mate says to me.... I'm pregnant, not gonna keep it though. Felt quite hurt that she would chose to tell me that but I know she must be stressing about it but even still. Put a bit of a dampner on the day! Glad to get back to DP for cuddles.

Well done highheels so glad they found something, you can relax a little now cos that's great news, hope the next 8 months or so much less uneventful!

Sorry ERTD got you too slow, crap isn't it but I bought myself some lush looking choccies while shopping so I'm about to tuck into those with a coffee and eat like a pig for the weekend.

toria hope your head isn't too bad!

truffkin sounds like you had a good Friday night! end of the night curries are always the best.....

Josie did ERTD turn up at all? I'm sure your friends daughter will ride again, it will take a while to work up to it but she obviously loves horses so I'm sure she will once she gets over the shock of losing him.

Hello to everyone else, I'm off to get some more cuddles from DP then have a snooze on the sofa.

xx

TigerseyeMum · 13/11/2010 17:20

I have bought some EPO and a thermometer.

Oh when did Saturday afternoon shopping get so boring???!!!!! Grin

Florin · 13/11/2010 19:03

Hello all hope everyone is having a lovely weekend.
It been quite a full on 36 hours in the Florin household. Yesterday morning went to the doctors to get my test result, dh came with me too. My FSH and LH levels were both under 10 which I think is good? but my progesterone on my day 21 test was 2! So really rubbish and obviously not ovulating. The doc was lovely he explained stuff especially to dh, he was sympathetic but wasn't too emotional either so I didn't get even near teary which I thought I would. He said of course he would refer me straight away so we can get it all sorted out. He isn't too sure about clomid and wants me to go straight for Ovarian drilling-anyone have any experience it sounds a bit scary. Dh also got to have his test next friday although the only place we can get it tested on the NHS means doing the sample at home and then rushing it to somewhere which is over an hour away by car so that is going to be exciting. Then last night we went over to my parents as dh felt its only fair to let them know what is going on particularly if I am going to have a small operation. Dh started it as I had no idea how. Then I carried on and of course burst into huge floods of tears and let out the huge frustration and upset of the last year. I really did tell them everything even about how wonderful a support all you guys have been. Had both my parents giving me big hugs. They are insisting I go private and that they pay for it. Going carry on with the NHS to get dh test done and also get myself tested for Clamydia (sp.?) and check my rubella immunity to save having to pay for these being done privatly. Then going to get referred to a private specialist. Anyone got any suggestions in the West kent area? Feel so positive that we are really going to get sorted now. Plus telling my parents is such a sense of reief good to share it. Today went out for lunch with friends including one couples baby which I found difficult but managed to smile my way through it!
Sorry for the me me me post will now catch up with everyone elses news!

TigerseyeMum · 13/11/2010 19:17

Florin so sorry things have been so difficult for you :(

Florin · 13/11/2010 19:57

they have been tricky but a lot of people been through the same or worse. Feeling really positive now as suspected problems for months and its good to be diagnosed with Pcos and to be now to really start treating it. Hopefully by getting treatment privately I can speed things up and hopefully I could end up getting pregnant very soon!

womanlytales · 14/11/2010 00:16

Hi Florin, I had variant drilling in Jan at Clementine Churchill hospital. It took about an hour and I left with three small stitches and a night's stay at the hospital. Doc insisted on two weeks off work, but apart fm that my recovery was fab. Sadly I did not ovulate after the procedure and am on clomid for the same. There are others who have had success, hope that's the case with u. Best of luck and glad you hv family who are engaged.
Quick wave to everyone else.

Florin · 14/11/2010 08:27

Thanks for the info womanly did you feel you really needed the 2 weeks off work. That is an awfully long time and wold use up all my full pay sick leave for the year! From what I have read I was hoping for just a day or two.

womanlytales · 14/11/2010 08:34

No, I did not feel I needed the two weeks, but my doctor insisted. I basically had a two wk holiday because was able to do basic stuff, no strenuous stuff but I guess he was concerned about work stress more than I was. Ask ur doc what he recommends.. it does vary.

cavey I totally agree with your suggestion about the clinical horesy TTC method! I also really like the idea for the name of the new thread and think that you should start it. Shouldn?t be too long now before we need it.

womanly I hope you?re right about the flurry of BFPs in November- we still have half a month left to get a few in. I?m sorry that you are feeling so confused about your body. I don?t have any suggestions I?m afraid but I definitely think that if you can afford to you should get a private scan.gardens advice is very sensible. I have everything crossed for a higher progesterone level for your next test. I hope that your DH?s party this weekend was able to take your mind off things a little at least xxxx

raspberry sorry about ERTD getting you :( Have this extra large porn star martini with a sparkler in. It?s lovely that you are able to share your experiences with your mum. Sorry that you had such a shock whilst shopping with your friend :( I hope your cuddles and snooze cheered you up.

josie Hope everything has been ok over the weekend with your friend and her daughter. cavey gave you some great advice on Friday.

truff any more thoughts on having a TTC break because of your friend?s wedding? Fingers crossed that you won?t need to though as you will be pregnant this month:) Your Friday night out sounds so fun- I have a real craving for red wine now and a curry too come to think of it!

kaloki so sorry to hear about the problems with your house and hope that you are able to get something sorted asap. Thinking of you xxx

toria Sorry that you are feeling down and that you feel like you are not ovulating. I know how that feels. I agree with stopping charting, I felt so much better after I stopped, and would suggest just SWI every other day or every couple of days throughout the month just to cover your bases. I too agree with the white lie :) Sounds like you had a lovely time in Edinburgh Wink

karsten I?m so sorry that your anaemic again- what date is your consultants appointment? I know that a hysterectomy is an absolute last resort so I?m sure that there are alternatives that your doctors would suggest before that. Hope you?ve had a nice, relaxing weekend full of steaks and Guniess to get those iron levels up xx

Sorry about your ERTD too slow. Hope that nasty flu is finally on it?s way out too.

Great news on the yolk sac HH- how did you get on with the blood test results? Everything is still crossed for you sweet.

garden hope you had a lovely weekend away! Thanks for asking about my shot- it all went well thanks. I just hope it did the trick!

florin Glad you are feeling positive after your doctors visit and telling your parents. It?s lovely that they want to help out with your treatment. I hope that things move quickly for you.

Big hellos to lanky- hope you?re having a lovely weekend and that the ERTD has stayed well away from the lanky household....

Nice to see you both tiger and dessie- glad you?re still with us!

No news from me- had my trigger shot on Friday night so I should have ovulated some point over the weekend. Have been doing lots of SWI so am just in the wait and see zone now. Boring! Have my progesterone test on Saturday morning and then I will see what happens from there. In other news, I have become massively addicted to Gossip Girl! Hope you?ve all had lovely weekends xxx

OP posts:
MissFlick · 14/11/2010 10:52

I meant to ask womanly and garden about running in the 2WW. I know you have both mentioned that it can cause progesterone levels to drop. I have been googling and can't find much about it- what I wanted to know was have you been told to avoid running altogether or only run a certain amount of times of a week/ distance/ amount of time? I have just started running using the couch to 5k app on my phone so don't run loads but I have been alternating running and walking for half an hour three times a week and wonder if I should carry on in the 2ww? Thanks lovelies :) xx

OP posts:
TomboyWife · 14/11/2010 12:39

Right, sorry for mememe post, but...

Does anyone know how much bleeding you get from an implantation bleed? Either I'm having one of those, or ERTD has just turned up almost two weeks early. It came on pretty much as ERTD always does for me - a bit of light red blood, alternating with a bit of pale brown. (Sorry if TMI.)

Feeling pretty down as this, if it is a short cycle, will be the third irregular cycle in a row. Sad

TomboyWife · 14/11/2010 14:35

Never mind, it's getting heavier. It's a period. Sad

My glands are up and have been for several days, so maybe this cycle short-circuited itself because of that, but really, WTF? Angry

LankyLegs · 14/11/2010 17:41

Hello all,

Hope everyone has been having a nice weekend.

Florin you sound like you have had an eventful few days and lots of news found out. I read your post and felt for you but it sounds very positive that you have a route forward - which is the most important thing at this stage - to ensure that you are doing something positive. I hate that you have to try for so long long to even get a look in at the NHS. Hope that you find a good clinic near you - very important.

Flick pleased you have had a good weekend filled with lots of SWI! I had a lovely weekend thankyou - just starting to pack ready for the move on the 26th - very exciting! Was the shot ok?

High heels just wanted to say really pleased about the scan news - you must be hugely reliefed. Best of luck for the next 9 months - hope they are uneventful! xxx

womanly hope you had a nice weekend - how was the party???!

Tomboy sorry about ERTD chica. Mine arrived today - its sucks doesn't it?

Garden hope the weekend away was lush. Hope the 2WW is going well too.

Truff your impromptu night out sounds grand as well. How was your grandparent visit? Where did you end up in the end?

lovelycavey pleased your salsa classes are proving a hit and getting lots of attendance. Have you any sign of ERTD yet. Hope the reflexology is going well - have you had another session again?

Waves to everyone else - sorry for for quick post have to go off and make my shepherds pie - I do love winter comfort cooking.

I got my ERTD today :( I will update the list in a mo. No big surprise after my failed hycosy. I managed to get a referral for a HSG so will await the appt for that and then my fertility referral in December too. Other than that good weekend - although I saw my best friend on friday night and had to dodge the whole baby making question - except she didn't seem to notice and proceeded to go on about how all her other friends are pregnant and also her sister is now preganant. It just seems that EVERYONE apart from us seems to be bloody pregnant doesn't it?!

Anway - I do actually feel ok - just focussing on the house move and crimble.

Lots of love to all. What am I going to watch this evening- no Downton Abbey :(
