Hi all! Sorry I haven't been about in a while. Took DD to the cinema and shopping this morning. Now watching a DVD and chilling out. Feeling quite sick so not moving from the sofa, excuses, excuses Grin
queen Sorry you're feeling so blue today. Maybe treat yourself to some chocolate

queenrollo · 02/10/2010 17:35

today turned out lovely.....pottered around the house this morning, out in the garden this afternoon and inbetween a visit from my herbalist. I now have in my possession a herbal concoction that will hopefully get my cycles into order and get me a baby Grin

DP cooking dinner and later on i think i'll make a fruit crumble. Feeling all autumnal and wanting stodgy comfort food.

Teds77 · 02/10/2010 22:50

Hello all - can I join you? Recognise some of you from the June bus.

DH was on cooking duty too in attempt to cheer me up at arrival of AF.

But am convinced that the July Bus will be a lucky one.

Off to pick up DSD cot today. Get to have DSD on Sat! Really looking forward to meeting her, bit nervous too.

Hi July'ers. Can I jump on? (Hee hee will be saying that to DH quite a bit in the next couple of weeks!)

Rejected from the June bus, and the May and April on before that.

Going to try to chillax this cycle and see if that does it.

Fatheadsgirl : I tend to go on Ebay and check what my nexy pushchair will be Grin

Well, CD33 for me and I'm starting to get bored,LOL
we ony BD twice this month ,on CD 22 and last night on CD32 when ( VERY WEIRD) I found a lot of EWCM Confused
I'm pretty sure I ovulated around day 22 because I started having pain around day 18 and I had some brown spotting on day 24-25-26 and the Dr said it was very likely it was ovulation bleed(ng and I also had some EWCM at the time 9 not much ,but still some)
The only thing is that I've been going to the loo for a pee more often over the past few days and I've been having a feeling of heaviness in my lower abdome. If AF doesn't show up by Tuesday ( 35 days has been y longest recorded cycle since we started TTC) I'll do a test

hippyhen · 03/10/2010 17:57

Hello, I'm pretty much new (posted on a couple of threads about a week ago).

Am in a bit of a mess really. Have been TTC for three years, am now 37 (just). At the start our attempts were rather half-hearted though. I am now very very tired of being disappointed every month. I feel very lonely. Not the place for this on this thread I suspect. Haven't been to the doctor for reasons that would sound pathetic to you, but am promising myself I'll make an appointment tomorrow.

Now, I'm not sure what # means in the stats - is that the number the child would be to you? - or what Cycle number is. But I reckon this is the latest:

hippyhen · 04/10/2010 08:25

Right, have now read through this thread and understand a bit more. Re the 3 year bit - we weren't TTC determinedly all that time, just open to it. DH suffered from depression, and had a close friend who regretted having a child, which was hardly encouraging. I found it hard to want sex enough, and he reckoned this was bad because I'd want it even less after a child. Fortunately this has improved.

So it's really only in the last 18 months that we've tried to have sex often enough. All this does mean though that I'm finding it hard to believe I could ever conceive. Reading this thread has helped me a lot to come to terms with seeking medical help, which felt like an admission of defeat before - I know that sounds daft.

Have started taking a strong herbal infusion which I believe may help, and will book Dr's appt today. Have also ordered Toni Weschler's book (Taking Charge of your fertility). So:

Hope you all had a good weekend. Thanks to Luce for keeping the stats up to date - I tend not to post over the weekend.

Welcome to all the new people - I'm sure this is going to be a super-lucky bus :-)

Phew - it worked! Looking forward to the journey & lots of luck for many BFPs :)

kat2504 · 04/10/2010 21:10

queenrollo I have the same situation in reverse! My partner has a son with a previous girlfriend. It is me that wants the I created it feeling! I see it in other people and want it for me too. When i type it like that it sounds rather selfish, but it isn't, it is something in me that I can't really express in words. A strong need.

FHG - hope the weekend goes well.
hippyhen hope you have some luck with the doctors. A hard step to take for you maybe, but the start of achieving your goal perhaps?

luce wish i had that with all the ewcm! I can barely get any at the so-called right time! Let alone any extra supplies!

ravenlocks · 04/10/2010 21:53

Hi everyone,

Am bored tonight. DH is out on a night out. So I am MN'ing.

One thing I have just been pondering... why do we do the stats as we do, that need updated all the time? If we listed AF due date rather than CD, we only need to update when someone joins or leaves the bus, or when someone who is charting has a change in AF date coz of knowing when they ovulated etc. Did it based on longest cycle length.

What do you think? Flip it back if you don't like it. I may be breaking MN law or s'thing. It has passed the time on a dull Monday night, however!

Luce2006 TTC#2 cycle 14 UCL 19-36 AF due 5 Oct

kat2504 · 04/10/2010 21:56

good idea ravenlocks makes it easier to read thread without all the three-times-daily stats updates. I'm all in favour.

Still wish I could add myself though.....

Luce2006 · 04/10/2010 21:57

Ravenlocks I think you had a good idea!!!!

PeevedEve · 04/10/2010 21:58

Thanks Ravenlocks - genius! I think that's a great idea. Saves all the updating & slips that go with

ravenlocks · 04/10/2010 22:02

On that basis - go Luce, let you be our first grad!

Luce2006 · 04/10/2010 22:07

It would be nice but I don't feel very hopefulSad tings are tooooo weird at the moment.I did 1 PGtest and it was negative...did two OPKs and the morning one was very positive but the second one this late afternoon was not positive. THe seond line was there, very visible but not as dark as the control line.
I'm seeing the DR tomorrow and I'm going to see if I an get some blood test done but several times throgh the next cycle sot hat we can see what my hormones are during during the various phases

Luce2006 · 04/10/2010 22:09

ok, I apology for the spelling....watching a movie at the same time

ravenlocks · 04/10/2010 22:11

Aw, sorry you are Sad. Good though about seeing the doc, hope it goes well, let us know about your experience. Sending you lots of positive vibes.

kat2504 · 04/10/2010 23:03

AT long last! I think my bus ticket is here for tomorrow morning. Just a little spot of a bus ticket now, the conductor will be inspecting at 6am. But, if someone is doing a list tomorrow, could they please paste me in? I'm off to mainline some feminax!

kat2504 ttc#1 cycle 2 CD1

My partner has at least 4 family members with july birthdays, reckon it ought to be lucky for me!

fledtoscotland I know just what you mean about the opks. It is particularly hard during the "moment" when you know it is "the right time" too. And then when it doesn't come to anything it is worse. too much pressure!!

queenrollo · 05/10/2010 09:00

Good call on the change Ravenlocks

Well, I am shattered. DP has a chest infection and so the last two nights one of us has slept in the spare room.
I have starting temping as best I can but there's no way i'm going to manage the same time every morning, but i think for now at least it feels like i'm taking control.
I also have this stuff my herbalist gave me.......blimey it tastes foul, something that tastes that bad surely must be good for me Grin I'll cry if i don't get pregnant this month, not sure how long I can tolerate taking it for!

KnitterNotTwitter · 05/10/2010 13:08

ravenlocks genius idea
