talk to me about your temps...

I would consider for me 36.4 and below normal for FP, and 36.7 and above normal for LP. Anything in between is ambiguous for me.

Today was 36.68...

hmmm. Yesterday was 36.59 BUT I did take it half an hour early (stupid DH setting his alarm early how very dare he).

I am also in awe of the three times a day, that's dedication for you! Mus try harder this month.....

eskarina, I keep a pad and pen by my bed so that once I've done my temp I can quickly write it down or else it would go straight out of my head. I can then put it on computer later once I'm properly awake.

Hmmm, not sure - it's def moving in right direction . Think you will have to wait and see where it goes. Are you on FF? Can you share chart?

i haven't managed to take my temp for three days......DP gets up for work about 5am and sometimes wakes me (not on purpose) but if i turn over to temp then i can't get back to sleep and i need my sleep....then i forgot when i did wake up
I think i'll give it a miss this cycle and see whether this herbal stuff makes a difference to how i feel/cycle length and whether we're successful. If not then next month i'll make a better effort to temp.

I swing between very laid back about TTC and very despairing that it willl never happen....

queenrollo - does your thermometer not store the last reading? I keep mine under pillow, take it when I wake up, shove back under pillow and go back to sleep (unless I'm really excited about what it says )

Then when I turn it on again later, it shows me the last reading for a few seconds. It's the boots on one. I would not handle that writing down on a bit of paper thing at all.

Nope, is free. You can pay and have the premium service but does all the basics really well and really, really good tutorials on charti9ng.

I've hardly even seen DH this week, nevermind, well, y'know . I thought we might fit some in this morning, but DH had to be out of the house by 8am to get to a men's group at church. Why so early in the morning? (spot the couple without kids yet!)

I have polycystic ovaries but thankfully not the syndrome yet so fingers crossed!

Day 9 and i'm bleeding again not loads but more than just spotting. Have mailed my herbalist to get her thoughts on it.

Grapefruit juice is supposed to help with getting good EWCM.

Watching a film with DS before he goes to bed (later than usual but it's nice to snuggle on the sofa) and DP is asleep in the armchair. We've not really done anything all day either........

well......

my period was much, much lighter than usual but i'd had a BFN the day before it started. I had wondered if i'd OV'd very late and it was too early to test, but then AF turned up the next day so that answered that. But with the light AF, very tender boobs and now this bleeding i'm wondering. I feel absolutely shattered too.

I feel frustrated. Going to see what my herbalist says......she'll probably advise me to do a PG test, and go and see my GP.....

i haven't got one to pee on! and i live in the middle of no-where, so will have to wait until tomorrow to go out and buy one.
I do know that i'm ok to be taking my herbal stuff even if i am PG though as we talked about that when she was deciding what to give me.
I refuse to get my hopes up.......

I have joined FF, and am putting on my previous charts.

It doesn't know what to make of my current chart Hasn't detected ov yet, even though I think (hope) I have...

I keep the paper chart on my bedside table and just put it on when I get up. I tend to remember the temp, but my thermometer also stores the last reading. I've joined FF so will see if I can manage to get to grips with it.

I love FF, nice to have it confirm things for you! So you ovved day before me and can be my companion in mentalness that is the 2 week wait. Good luck!

Queenrollo Good luck to you too, let us know how it goes. The other thought I had was this could be an ovulation bleed. So make sure you do lots of SWI as well as pee-ing just in case.

I ov'd on the wed, and BD'd on the sun and tues.

So I think we are both in with a chance. Exciting!

Also nerve wracking. It's been quite a journey for us (I was hopitalised with severe PND first time round). For quite a while I didn't think I'd have another, but DD (who is 2 and 10 months) is such a joy now, I am totally smitten!

Sorry to hear you had PND, but at least you know what you are looking out for now and know how to deal with it/you will come out the other side. And often people don't have it again. My DS is 2 and 4 months now. I had to get out of a bad relationship with his Dad and into another one with my DP now (who is lovely) so been a bit of a journey for us too. Plus had the mc in September so going to be sh*tting myself as well if I do get pg again. But exciting too!

I've jst put this month's chart into FF. If I've done it right then it reckons I ovulated yesterday. We managed SWI on sunday, (prob too early, but am encouraged by getdown's tale of conceiving 6 days after SWI!), Wed and yesterday. So it's possible. I guess I'm now on the 2ww too. But that gives me a 28 day cycle, and they can be anything from 28 to 35.

Also, I started spotting on CD20 last time, and had odd bits of bleeding most days until a more proper period arrived on CD34, although it was quite light and annoying, and lasted ages before it settled down again. I don't want all that messing about this time!

Yes, I testify it is possible to get a BFP 6 days between SWI and OV. Maybe DH has super-sperm

The end part of your cycle (from ov to period) is always roughly the same length eskarina - so regardless of variation in cycle length, you should expect your period (or BFP) two weeks from ov date.
