MummyAbroad · 24/09/2010 01:12

owlshoes the blood test is more about moving things on than checking for pregnancy (which I would have loved though!) I have waited 11 weeks since ERPC and over 5 months since mmc for AF and still no signs of it coming. Getting really worried now that things arent normal (again!!) so I am going to take progesterone to bring on AF but obviously need to know I am not pregnant first. They dont sell First Response here, but fortunately blood tests are cheap and easy. DH and I decided that we would have one go at TTCing before doing this, and it hasnt worked so its time to try progesterone and if that doesnt work (FX) then it will have to be the pill (nooooo!!!!)

I was also advised to get a CAT scan of the lump on my lung which I decided not to do in the end (v long story) but in the last few days I have realised just how freaked out about everything I would feel if I was pregnant so I think its probably better if I do the scan so at least I can feel I have done everything I can to know I am allright.

So anyway, I think I will move myself back to the WTTC list for the time being and come back when when I have been scanned/medicated etc.

I need to get a flu jab and some anti parasite meds anyway so it will be a full pre TTC M.O.T. job Smile

Morning all

and a big welcome to brownb - sorry you're here, but it's a good place to be in the circumstances and hopefully you won't be here too long ( in the nicest possible way!)

hairy - good news re early scan, fx it will help in the chilling out stakes Smile

kat - step away from the peesticks!!! That way lies madness and obsessive boob-prodding Grin

mummyabroad - hope you're doing ok and that AF turns up soon. The TTC MOT thing doesn't sound a bad idea really - at least you'll know you're in the best possible position.

I am on CD15 and 5th day of CBFM high with no peak. Temps also showing no rise (if anything getting lower -have been under 36 the last 2 days - WTF??)

Did I mention I'm getting fed up wondering if OV is ever going to happen?!

KnitterNotTwitter · 24/09/2010 10:31

Well starting this thread has seemed to have had the reverse effect than the advertised one... AF turned up this morning 4 days early... Oh well, at least I know where I am now... back at the bottom of the list with LadyBee and away from getawiggleon and her smelly fish :)

Ah, sorry she got you knitter - early as well, that's just rude! Angry

Hope MrKnitter's using the time to build up his strength for the 3 times a day marathon when she leaves Wink

KnitterNotTwitter · 24/09/2010 10:57

thanks Izzy rude and actually quite knocked me for six... It means that I won't be pregnant when the due date for the ectopic comes around... As I didn't know I was actually pregnant until my tube ruptured with the ectopic I don't have a 'proper' due date... but it would have been lat Oct. I was SOOOOOoooo hoping to be pregnant again when that date came round... Now i'll just be hoping to fall pregnant when that date comes round

I noticed that BrownB hadn't been added to the stats so here they are again with her added... I haven't added teacake though as I guess the appropriate moment for that is after her ERPC....

4 days early? Cheeky cow! Tis rubbish, Knitter , boo

MummyA you poor thing, it all sounds rather stressful right now and having a break seems like a sensible thing to do. The wait post-mc for AF to turn up is uttertly shit and I hope it's over for you soon.

Wombat33 · 24/09/2010 11:07

Morning all. Wow - a lot of chatter overnight! Grin Grin Grin at "the award for chatterers annon goes to the group of mad women talking ttc on mn" I should confess that my DH refers to you lot as "the crazy ladies" (it's a term of endearment of course!!) I think it was inspired by my mentioning to him the collective swimmer shimmy/cheerleading that went on earlier this month Blush

EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW to sperm as a topical treatment for spots. I think I'll just stick with the zits thanks. Or alternatively the brownies (thanks BrownB), I'm sure if I eat enough of them they will help somehow.

As for Brazil nuts, does it count if they are M&S Belgian milk chocolate covered..?? Impulse purchase from the Simply Food store at the station last night - I spotted them and thought "brazils - good for implantation - chocolate is just a bonus!". :)

Izzy temps can dip for a few days just before ovulation - mine do - so don't give up hope!

Hello to everyone.

the stat's list, it is getting very long and seems to have a few peeps on it that are no longer around...are you hiding and just watching from under your duvets girls?
Perhaps tomorrow we should start a new role call...I'll be happy to kick off and then if you still want to be on the list just add yourself back in...what do you think ladies?

KnitterNotTwitter · 24/09/2010 11:26

YRMOTB la la la me too, tra la la la la dee dee. Well, only managed one swi attempt as was too busy gazing into own knickers trying to work out wtf ewcm looks like. DH has to go to Far East for TWO whole weeks next month with work - guess which two weeks of the month he'll be away for too. Is that the November bus I see, waiting in the distance...?

Congratulations Starflower :o

Knitter gutted that AF turned up. Good on you for positive thinking though. Extra wine and chocs for you and MummyAb today. I may well be joining you at bottom of list soon though. Feeling more and more pre-menstrual each day. (Haven't had sore boobs and crampiness since I was about 20) Periods were really heavy after 1st pg so am dreading what might be in store this time.

HELLO!!! I'm still here, sorry for being away for so long. I'm totally behind on the times and need to read all the new thread and half of the last.
Sorry to all new ladies who have arrived here but it is a warm supportive and lovely place to be Smile

About the new list, I think you can take me off the WTTC section. I have just got first my AF after the erpc last month so in theory I should be beginning to ttc. However I'm going to take a break for a while, so I'll be saying bye for now, but hope to catch up with you all again soon.

Many many un-mn-like hugs for all being so lovely these past few weeks and I'm bound to do a bit of lurking to see how you're all doing. I have all my fx for you ALL....
