Hi also to Knitter, CaribouMoo, LadyB, wiggle, silly and owl!

Wombat33 · 30/09/2010 17:59

and BrownB, velvet, loony...

Wombat33 · 30/09/2010 17:59

Who did I miss??

owlshoes · 30/09/2010 19:12

Everyone else Grin

I am so helpful. NOT.

Womble the best thing to remember about percentages given out by doctors is that doctors are often crap at calculating percentages. And also they often give a 'worst case scenario' anyway. Please accept this enormous pyramid of profiteroles, I always find patisserie very cheering :)

owlshoes · 30/09/2010 19:13

(I should perhaps justify my last statement by saying I work with doctors)

nickstermum · 30/09/2010 19:25

Golly gosh, what yummy treats we have for this evening, thanks ladies just in time for my movie night....weekend starts tomorrow for me!

Teacake A&R & Wombat sorry you are feeling low. It does get easier, i promise you that!

I think for definate that there is going to be some impact on DC when mum and dad are in turmoil...when something hideous like MC happens, goes without saying. Sensitive little creatures at the best of times.

Well the good news is that Mr nix has decided to stop sulking and be nice... good stuff.. got a sitter on sat night, so you never know.... might even get said cheesewire out Grin

Waves to everyone, hullo! Oooh off to watch a chad movie on sky true movies or something equally as shit!

nickstermum · 30/09/2010 19:26

xx

youremindmeofthebabe · 30/09/2010 22:04

Mmm, patisserie. I agree.

Hello all. Apologies in advance, for me me me post.

My SIL is pregnant. We had a miscarriage at the same time, in May. I am so pleased for her, she will be a fantastic mum.But not happy for me. have had a major wibble. I feel useless and like my ttc is crap. And I feel like a shitty person for not being totally overjoyed, like having feelings clouding things?

My DP is being very helpful not and saying it was their time, and it will happen for us, and asking stupid things like, are you upset, or does this make you sad?? He means well, but what the Fuck. Sorry for expletives.

loola2shu · 30/09/2010 22:58

Oh yrmotb I know exactly how you're feeling, its absolutely horrible.... and men are crap at the best of times let alone when you really need them to be not crap!
You're not a shitty person, you are human. Anybody would feel the same as you do.
It will happen hun, honest it will. It won't make up for all this heart break but it'll make it more bareable.

Nic sounds like a plan, get that cheese wire out Wink

wombat I know how you feel on the % front. Both of my dcs were c via fertility tx and the 1 and only time i conceived naturally I ended up with a mc. I wouldn't even like to count my % tbh... 10 years of no contraception and pg naturally once [hmmm] I honestly think it would be a miracle if it were to happen again, but heres hoping Sad

Sorrry not to mention everyone, I really struggle to keep up xx

Velvetcu · 30/09/2010 23:15

Yup men are crap!!

We are catching up with Glee series 1 (i dont know why!!) and the girl has given up her baby. DH said to me this evening "I dont think you realise what being a mother is going to be like". NO FUCKING SHIT! thanks for reminding me.

MamaPower · 01/10/2010 00:18

Evening all, sorry had mad busy day and dh gets home tomorrow (currently sitting in clay face pack in hope it'll make me ten times more gorgeous....or i'd be satisfied if it would get rid of all these pre af sodding spots on my face!!!) Smile

So only had time for a quick scan BUT yrmotb, two words for you lady; shameful behaviour Grin Also, I know that it's tough when family/close friends get upduffed, a shit tough one for you...big hug x

Jam yes the little dimple is the opening... it's very as you move into the fertile stage you will notice it becomes softer and wider...have a good ole feel Wink By sounds of it you are certainly moving in to the fertile phase as for whether or not you have ov'd?? Are you charting? That was rotten of dh not to play... bah humbug to him Grin

Hi AandRMum, sorry you're hear my love, but pull up a comfy chair for as long as you need Smile

Oh nix happy SWI Grin Grin

Apple Glad you're feeling more positive, it goes like this, good days and bloody awful! Smile

Wombat and teacake Sad

The ole thread is getting mightily so sorry if I missed you but hugs if needed or wine and waves to all

PS Might be busy with dh next few weeks days, so catch you all next week, have a lovely weekend everyone xx

PPS How long is this frigging post??!! We chat for england!

nickstermum · 01/10/2010 09:51

Hmmmph bloody spotting today, whats that all about... day 11 or 12.. prob tail end of the old bitch.

YROMTB perfectly natural.... pls for them but almost resentful its not you. I am the same. I have not seen my friend who is due on my due date, not resentful of her, but wishing it should be me. I have found its helped to get closer to my other friend at work who is due in nov, like organising her leaving present etc, but i was worried i would hate her! It will be your time soon :) i just know it.

DH's just dont understand...

Wombat33 · 01/10/2010 12:15

Thanks for kind thoughts and chocolate. I'm beginning to think maybe I'm just getting really bad & early PMS. Nearly burst into floods of tears on a colleague this morning - that's so unlike me except on the day before AF is due. Not expected until late next week, but given this isn't a normal cycle I guess it's possible the old woman's going to make an earlier than expected appearance. At least that would explain my despair.

Nicks hugs. Hope the spotting resolves. Bodies do their own sweet thing in their own sweet time don't they? Glad Mr Nicks has relented.

Velvet and yrotb hugs xxx

Owl - thanks! And thanks for advice on docs. I know, I need to try and keep things in perspective and deal with the bad stuff when/if it happens, worrying in advance won't change anything. Easier said than done though.

loola sorry you've been through the mill too. It will happen for both of us. For all of us. We just have to keep believing. Tough though.

Mammap hope the face pack worked!

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 01/10/2010 14:16

Afternoon all

Nicks - pleased to hear DH is back on board - have a good weekend Wink

((((Hugs)))) to velvet and YRMOTB - DHs can be rubbish - unintentionally but I really think they have no idea. And it is very difficult when PGs are announced, especially when it's someone close to you who you know you have to be excited about and can't get away with avoiding for a week or two while you get your head around it. It does not mean that you are not pleased for them and does not make you a bad person.

An extra squeeze for wombat too - I hope you feel better soon and that the PMS-type symptoms turn into a BFP (fx!) or RTD so that you can get on with things again and know what's going on.

mamap - enjoy your weekend!! Make sure you keep DH busy!

I'm going to attempt updating the list because I don't think it's been done for a couple of days, but can't remember where all our lovely newbies fit in - if you're not on it and want to be then please re-post with yourself on!

Thanks Izzy, mine was a bit out so I'm just updating. It would be fab if the PMS is actually a BFP, but I'm not going to get my hopes us too much! Still, if I recall, you did cheer on Mr Wombat's swimmers, so just maybe that was the magic trick...

Wombat33 · 01/10/2010 16:48

Don't stress Izzy - thanks for doing it! There's no way you caould have known what CD we're all on!

MummyAbroad · 01/10/2010 18:40

Hello girlies,

Hope you are all OK today. Big hugs for wombat I'm hoping that PMS is BFP too. I keep thinking about how Hairy said she felt really really rubbish before her BFP, so now I wondering if feeling all down and despondant could be another sign of impending BFP? Its always darkest just before dawn and all that.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Wombat33 · 01/10/2010 18:54

Let's hope Mummya although my temps aren't nearly as high post-ov this month as they were when I got pg in August. But the weather's also got colder right... am I clutching at straws here or what!?!

Also I have a confession. I poas [again Blush] this afternoon and it was BFN. Still, I didn't get my TWP until CD29 last time and indeed had a BFN on CD 26...

Mummya when do you get your scan results??

nickstermum · 01/10/2010 19:05

I was totally teary 2 days before i gotmy last BFP - so you never know!

Izz MCwizzy dont stress. At least you did it!! I wouldnt know where to start Grin

WTF is spotting midcycle all about then - ? its gone now thankfully... as i was hoping for a night of pash tomor.. although pee sticks are negative at this point - i still have no clue as to whether i am going to be on a long cyle as normal or shorter post MC! Does your cycles tend to resort back to normal? If so i will be prob OV on day 20 Hmm - still, the swimmers can last a week right?Confused

CaribouMoo · 01/10/2010 19:16

Nick i've heard that can be related to ovulation? Good to hear you don't need to employ all your feminine charms and are out of the doghouse. Lets hope for a positive opk soon.

YRMOTB I see where you are coming from with your SIL, this is only natural and your bound to feel like that. What were you thinking lady with POAS action!!

Hugs to Wombat and anyone else having a hard time. Hope you all have a good weekend x
