wombat - another straw for you to clutch, I am on 200mg a day of progesterone and my temp is only 97.8 (that is in the high post ov range for me, but my highest were 98.3)

I got the scan results, including a rather posh DVD of whizzy videos of my insides but on the whole they totally incomprehensible (anyone know if 100 HU is a good thing??), going to see a lung specialist on 7 Oct. Its also my due date.

Nicks - I don't know what's 'normal' post MC, but for what it's worth, my opks seemed to suggest that I oved this month at about the same time I would in a normal cycle. hope you don't have too long to wait!

I also think I've heard something about spotting and ov but not sure - suggest you engage in the cheesewire and SWI just in case (assuming MrNicks still willing!)

Ah thanks Izz & Cariboo ... thats what i kind of suspected, but its early for my normal cycle. Off to do another peestick in a min.Also been cramping! So maybe it is. Who the hell knows! Have let Mr Nicks out this evening with his chums, so maybe i will be in for a gratitude shag!

Hi to EVERYONE ELSE

Holiday was fab. not just SWI - weather, hotel, food, sea, pool, beach, trips around in our car, exploring Greek villages etc - everything perfect. Just hope we brought the perfect souvenir back too.
As expected I´m symptom spotting. Its day 23/27
have funny frog in throat syndrome which had last time....
but I will not unwrap the POAS until TUESDAY!!!! - mantra -

Went back to work today. 1st october seemed so far away at the time. thought it would be good to get the emails read and hear about all catastrophes and p off into the weekend before it haunts me on monday morning, with the thought of having a whole week ahead of me. So - I saved a days holiday for another day and had an early finish. Great!!

Went to Ikea tonight.....they had a special offer with 5.5% discount......so ended up buying stuff I wouldnt have bought.....I´m such a sucker. saw it as "nest building investments" and will chuck out an old set of drawers and desk and replace with new chic drawers in the still-called "Guest-Room"...

anyway.....hope you´re all okay. Its good to be back.
Looking forward to a few FISH suppers next week.

Izzy I'm not too worried about the scan results, it was more actually getting in the machine and being force fed nasty black liquid in a drip that was freaking me out. I think the more medical treatments and tests I have the more of a wuss I am becoming!!

What IS worrying me is the following: (and I know its stupid which is why i havent mentioned it until now) After god knows how many zillions of BFN's AND a blood test, I keep worrying that I dont have AF because I am pregnant and I have just bombarded the tiny thing with radiation from the scan!! I am starting to have minor panic attacks about it. As much as I convince myself that I am not pregnant, it just keeps creeping back in. I think all this stress and scary medical things looming over my head has really caught up with me.

Can someone convince me that I cant possibly be pregnant please?

last had sex 9 September, blood test was 23 Sep. Here is my chart Tested BFN with internet cheapie yesterday.

Mummya I don't think you're pregnant. From your chart your temps have dropped significantly below the coverline since ovulation, plus you had (if I remember correctly) a very low HCG level when you had your blood test AND your HPTs are all coming back negative at nearly four weeks post-ovulation. If you were pg, your HCG levels (according to my googling should be 5,680-13,660 mIU/ml by now. Given a hpt should pick up HCG at 20-25 mIU/ml and taking into account all the other factors, I think it's pretty near 100% certain you're not. I know that doesn't explain why you've still got no AF and in your situation I'd be driving myself round the bend wondering and fretting and questionning - because that's the way my mind works - but if you can, please try not to worry xxx

mummyabroad 9th September is a long time ago; I really really hope that you are headed for a BFP but realistically I would have expected it to show by now...In terms of the chart, I don't know, it does look like temp dipped back below coverline although it has gone back up slightly. I guess all you can do is keep testing intermittently though and watch to see if temp stays on or below coverline or goes back up? Fx you get some kind of resolution soon though, this must be driving you mad!!

choccybick I was wondering when you'd be back, good to see you again!!! Glad to hear you had lots of SWI action, sounds most promising...I will be due to POAS later this week, but am not v hopeful - we did SWI around OV but OV seems to have happened on day 18/28 which leaves my luteal phase shorter than the ideal. I am plugging away at the b6 but not sure it'll make any difference. Still, it's not over yet Si fx for us both [ever-hopeful emoticon]

a&rmum in same boat as you want my cycles back KNOW. really thought I was getting there had 7 days with no spotting, thought I was on my way to the 20/21 day space needed, but very very light pinkish spotting tonight....BUMMER... so think I'm back to square 1 but hopeful it's body just trying to jump start... Boobs are def a bit bigger just like before I get my af !!! Fx

Hello everyone! Sorry not to do lots of personal messages but it's been a few days and too much has happened to include all of you (you can't half talk, you lot!)

Still f*ing disappointed that the IUI didn't work, but we've been back to the clinic and they've agreed to let us have IVF. So we're starting on my next cycle and should have some the results by about 25/26 Nov (assuming things work out according to my usual schedule!). Which means.... I might be finding out on my 35th birthday! Still really upset at the whole mc and unsuccessful treatment thing, but trying to keep positive for the first IVF attempt!

MummyA I don't think from your chart you are pregnant. I've charted my way through all 4 BFPs and each time about 11 or 12 dpo my temp has shifted a third time and got higher again. The docs must have some suggestion as to where you period is because going on the first part of the chart it does look like you ov'd?

Thanks Izzy, Choccy and Urbanlolly - so far so good but next week will be a big one. Lolly you did amazingly well with your colleagues keeping it together like that. Its bizarre how some days you can have those conversations with pregnant folk due when you were and other days it will tear you apart. Lets hope there are more of the former than the latter for you.

Nicks I have seen the TTW movie yet but after the book reduced me to tears on public transport it can't get much worse in the comfort of my own home. Also Lolly I bawled at grand designs so you're not alone there!

teacake BIG HUGS try not to beat yourself up regarding your ds concentrate on gettiing yourself better. I found lots of hugs, kisses & cuddles go a long way. Unfortunatly they just pick up our vibes & there's nothing we can really do about that...my ds is now back in pullups@ night positive it's cause I was MIA.. However on a positive school dinners have just started & today he had soup "with grass in it"(vegtable) & a chicken burger... So happy he's a terrible eater I had given up a long time ago... Wee bugger!!!

Just updated FF looks like I ovulated on 19th...how long do sperm last as we swi on the 17th...bloody hell will now be driving myself mental.... & been drinking like a fish. PANTS!

You are talking sense - just need my subconcious brain to accept that I am not pregnant (so ironic that right now thats what I want more than anything, how messed up!!! {To save you reading back, I have just had a CAT scan i.e. massive dose of radiation which you CANT DO if pregnant.} Anyway, I'm drinking relaxing now, so feeling better.

Urban sperm will live between 2 hours and 5 days depending on the quality of your cervical fluid (affectionately known on here as "pant snot") At non fertile times, it is acidic and therefore hostile to sperm, around ovulation it changes and actually contains nutrients that keep the little blighters sustained on their journey. Seen any "egg white" looking (aka fertile quality) fluid lately?

PS I found out very late I was pregnant with DS, had been drinking like a WHALE before the BFP. He was born 9 pounds and is perfectly healthy, so dont sweat it.

Hi mummya thanks fo sperm info... Feeling a tad silly after a shit nights sleep...99.9% sure I'm not preggers... It was just the shock that I MAY have ovulated got my head spinning!!!!! But rather pleased cycles are doing someting resembling normality!!!

O' yeah I only found out I was preggers @ about 8 weeks after a very liquid start to the year..... A healthy 8.12 pounds !!!!!

wombat we have two doors, but we still don't have the french doors from the dining room into the garden. and the builder was meant to be finished over a week ago. we have someone coming to replace our drive on Monday so if the builder doesn't finish today I will be tearing my hair out. if you don't hear from me next week it's because I've been arrested for murder. (Actually we're having the patio replaced as well, so if I hid the body well enough I might not get arrested?)
