Anyone plan to start ttc in nov/dec?

Hi I'm new to the conception boards. Is anyone else planning to start ttc in November or december and wants to join me on a new thread?
DS has an appointment at GOSH on 25 November, we are waiting to get that out of the way before ttc number 2!

So I went to get my vits / folic acid today. And I'm booked into the doctor tomorrow for an MOT. Anything else I need to do? Eek! I am bricking it. So excited though.

Still waiting for a happy face on my ovulation test. CD19 and nothing yet Grr. But then I tend to have long cycles.

DH, the comedian, bought me a Tamagotchi to satisfy my maternal feelings [hhmm]. The blooming thing keeps bleeping.

Southwold, I have earned the nickname 'Fertile myrtle' I am afraid, and conceived both my pregnancies first cycle, my DD wasn't planned.. And I had a MC, I hope to be lucky and conceive easily again as I am going to be stressed enough when I am actually pregnant!

Purplebuns - are you a bit OCD abut things being in order? Mine is empty plug sockets being left on, drives me mad! Hopefully you'll conceive quickly again, hope we all do!

My copy of Taking Charge of your Fertility arrived from Amazon this morning (I ordered it express delivery as was too excited to wait! ) so I've been reading a bit of it this morning. It seems quite time-absorbing to be honest (temps every morning, checking fluid three times a day etc).

I think we might go for the ingenious 'lots of sex' method prescribed by Purplebuns above for a couple of months and see how we do.

Is everyone else planning on doing charts and things?

I was lucky to conceive DS in about 2 months - I was a bit to be honest!

I had been charting on Fertility Friend and doing temps/ov tests. Wasn't that much into inspecting mucus, although the EWCM is fairly obvious so I recorded that! Also used Preseed it was very fashionable amongst my internet friends at the time!

Had a look at my chart from then and it looks like I was doing the 'lots of sex' method too

I have been keeping note of my cycles in FF since my periods came back in April, my cycles seem mostly regular which I am hoping is a good sign. Still bf my 13 month old, not sure if it will matter as my periods are back.

Getting myself a tiny bit nervous now I have decided to ttc - had to have an emcs last time and pondering if I have waited long enough...

what a long list there is now and its nice to see so many under 30 if you believe my parents these day no one has them til they are in their 30's.

I'm so impatient to get going now, at least Ive now had my withdrawl bleed from last cycle of taking the pill, just have to see how long my cycle takes to regulate, but for the time being am definatley an advocant of the lots of sex rule, you just never know!!I think we will begin with temp etcs in a few months.

Asouthwold... We got pregnant in our first cycle, but then I was 2 years younger than I am now and it was over the christmas hols, so lots of opportunity to erm... get jiggy with it.

DH is so proud of his little swimmers he thinks it'll happen quickly again this time. I am not so sure.

Those who do want to chart etc, my friend is using a microscope to monitor her fertility, it isn't very well known link here she says it is fascinating and has tied in with all her other symptoms I.E temperature. etc

Southwold... I am a bit OCD about some things, most things don't bother me... But the quilt has to be the right way round with buttons/snaps at the bottom and washing has to be hung straight. Although this is probably because DH hangs up a crumpled heap and expects it to dry!

I'm planning on charting, but mainly because I'm still on the pill for now and want to know when I start ovulating again. I figure there's no point obsessing about ttc if I may not even be ovulating at the start.

Oh heck yeah I'm all nervous now, now it comes to it, I'm not due on until Sun, and it may even be after that as I the shortest my cycle has been is 30 days which would make it sunday, but the longest has been ridiculous 42 or something like that, so I am not really sure when the action will take place!!!! But I do want it sooo much. :)

I got my coil out on Monday and am so much more excited about trying for DC 3 than I thought I would be. I think it was the "occasion" of going along to the doc that did it!
