Anyone plan to start ttc in nov/dec?

Hi I'm new to the conception boards. Is anyone else planning to start ttc in November or december and wants to join me on a new thread?
DS has an appointment at GOSH on 25 November, we are waiting to get that out of the way before ttc number 2!

southwold sounds like we are in a pretty similar position then! Is this your first/ second/ ??

ghost we have talked about having two close together, but DH really doesn't sound keen, and I dont want to do it unless he is 100%? I understand his point, but I just hope it isnt something we end up regretting; I'm sure it won't be...

I've just got back from watching Everton tonk Liverpool, woop. Good times...

Skies - this will be my second, DS is 2.6. Tbh DH took quite a bit of convincing for us ttc again. We'll have a bigger age gap than i'd have liked though. I'll be so glad when we actually start ttc, I still worry he'll change his mind! He says it what he wants but I know he wants it because that's what I want, if that makes any sense?

I think I'd be pushing my luck wanting a third though!

south I know what you mean, but I'm sure he will be just as up for it as you when you are expecting... and in the meantime you can both enjoy TTC!! Does your DH have any more DC? I think that does influence DH when he is thinking about how many DC to have- next DC will be his third, and my second (hopefully, of course). We managed to conceive on the 2nd month of trying last time (1st month totally pill free though), but if we dont time it right and baby ends up due mid Oct, then it will join the other 5 close friends and family that have birthdays at this time of year for us! Its a crippler... Aunty on 15th, Mum on 16th, brother on 18th, friend on 18th, other friend 24th Oct, and another couple of friends in the first week of Nov!

You could always ttc until Christmas then if no joy use condoms for January? But then I suppose there's the possibility of him/her being born early if you conceived in feb/march (I had DS at 8 months). What's meant to be will be.

Exactly, you can't really plan these things can you! And there is no point trying, as fate will always thwart you...

Ghost, nope no rattling, I'll get it checked tomorrow at work if I am no better :) I'm pretty relaxed about it, have no temp so I don't think it's an infection, just a bloody annoying throat and cough that sounds like a bark.

Hi, someone asked me about stats much earlier, it would be something like this;

Your name,
then what DC you are ttc,
which month starting ttc,
List any other DC and ages,
also can include CD (which day of your cycle you are on)
location and age can be added as well.

We could even organise by grouping everyone who is trying in November and December. etc

Example;
OldPramLady TTC DC 2 Nov (DD 17months)(WTF Cycle) Devon

(I am a WTF cycle as I am post MC and lord know when I will have AF again!)

It's probably obvious but can I ask what AF actually stands for?!

Awesome, somehow I'd been encouraged to believe that no-one under 30 ever has children! Certainly true in my social group... Nice to see some other people under 35! My parents were 23 when I was born (DH's the same) so we already feel old.
