Well here goes for the new thread

Welcome aboard the beanie express
Wishing everyone sucess on their TTC journey, and hope that the journey is travelled with friends.

It's a beautiful day today so I hope that that rubs off on our new thread and that we'll soon be seeing some beautiful days here too.

Lots of love to one and all

debbsy - well done on getting persona. that and the temps worked for me as munzie said, keep bd'ing today and tomorrow as you could still be in with a chance however slim. once you have 3 high temps you know its definitely the long 2 week wait time...

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 08/09/2005 19:02

ohhh i still dont know how these temps work as from the 1st day temp was 36.49 then went up a little due to lack of sleep i think the on cd 9 started dropping down stayed down until cd 12 now its back to 36.29.I dont know what a coverline is can anyone help me?

milosmum · 08/09/2005 19:03

as far as i understand it debs- the cover line is thw average of your temps- therefore it can tell if a temp is very low or very high...

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 08/09/2005 19:30

thanks milosmum just looking at the persona monitor instructions too, fully armed for next mth, with mum not being well think im far too stressed for it to happen this month.

milosmum · 08/09/2005 19:36

no problem- fingers crossed for you debs

Jen1209 · 08/09/2005 20:12

Hi - thanx everyone for your lovely messages, I know we will all get there eventually. AF arrived yesterday morning so that's that question answered. Not sure what is going on with me as usually exactly 29 days and this one was 31!!!

I am going to take the advice and spoil myself on my week off. Going to have lots of chilling out and going for romantic picnics and days out (fingers crossed the weather holds!)

Debs, so sorry to hear about your Mum again. Hope complaint is taken as seriously as it should be and you get some results. (((hugs))) back to you.

Hi to everyone else, hope you are all ok and there is lots of bd'ing going on!

I got AF today. Feeling pretty fed up so thought I would vent on here a little. Trying to sell our house too, lots of viewings, one offer which fell through.

My son started at playgroup today where I will eventually be able to leave him. Bumped into loads of women I had seen at other things with same age children;they are all pregnant or with little babies. got asked about 5 times was I planning another. Part of the reason I wanted my son to got was for me to have a bit of free time when pregnant or moving house but neither thing has happened.

Sorry to moan on as I know most people on here have been waiting much longer or are trying for their first which I know is FAR worse. Its just at 39 I feel time is running out. (also got no +ves last month using cheap ebay ov kits so no idea if i am ovulating)

romilly · 09/09/2005 15:08

temperature taking - all you need to know

HandbagAddiction · 09/09/2005 15:21

Oh dear - we are all having a rough time of it aren't we. This TTC lark in an emotional roller coaster beside which most of us already lead stressful, busy lives so it's no wonder that we all have our ups and downs. It can be a soul destroying process often leading to complete irrational thoughts.... Take me for example - found out this week that someone I don't really like (by virtue of the fact that she is incredibly false, two-faced and bad mouths everyone) is 10 weeks pregnant. This was also a person who had such bad PND and refused to recognise it that she left her 3 month old baby alone in the house while she drove 30 miles to her sisters house and it was only the fact that her husband came home for lunch that day, that no harm came to the little girl. Now I know that PND is hormonal and the poor girl probably wasn't in control and therefore what I'm about to say is completely out of order...but here's my irrational thought - I'm thinking how come someone like that gets to be pregnant again so quickly after very little effort and I'm still struggling after 6 months???? See what this TTC stuff makes you think???

Anyway enough of that...on CD20 today...and counting!

Jen & Jane - so to hear that for both of you AF has arrived . It's gutting every time isn't it.

Hula - big hugs - sorry to hear you're feeling so low. You're not alone in this. By all means take a break but please continue to use us a prop....

Debbsy - so sorry to hear about what's happening to your Mum. I really do hope you get some redress following the complaint. Do keep us up to date with what's going on.

Harriezb, Milosmum, Jag - hope you all OK.

Hello also to Romilly and Munz- thanks for checking on us all and glad to hear that you guys are still looking after yourselves well.

BethAndHerBrood · 09/09/2005 16:07

This is only my 2nd post on this thread, i feel a bit like i'm intruding, when you all seem to "know" each other!!

I have had my coil out for a week now, yesterday and today i feel sooooooo tired, my breasts are sore and i'm spotting(sorry if tmi), What's going on with me? It's like having a strangers body, i have no idea what it's doing!! Not a nice feeling.

milosmum · 09/09/2005 16:43

Beth- Dont worry about us all "knowing wach other" honey- we were all new on this thread once - i want to see lots more posts from you!

We all need each others support- thats we are here right?

JAG123 · 09/09/2005 17:16

Hi All

Hi Beth I've only been on this thread for about 3ish months but everyone has been really friendly and supportive.

Debbsy - I hope your mom is getting better and you get her treatment sorted out soon.

Jen & Jane - Sorry to hear that you both got AFs

Handbag - I think that we get a bit irrational sometimes and it just doesn't seem fair, but we have to hold on to the fact that it will happen for us. We have to keep our hope.

Me - Well i've had a week of highs & lows and both have made me cry. DD started reception yest and she was fine ( next door to nursery so not much diff) but i got really emotional. Had to go straight to work after i dropped her off and got ribbed by the lads in the office.
The low is AF due today and although no sign yet all week have been getting cramping, stitch on left side and really bloated, i really thought i stood a chance this month. Never mind have to take my own advice and not give up hope.

Milosmum, Harrizeb and anyone i've missed hope you are all ok.

J

milosmum · 09/09/2005 19:16

guess its just not any of our lucky months this time - but we ll keep trying- the babydust may be taking a while to filter through, ladies.

jane313 · 09/09/2005 19:30

thanks. yes it is an irrational time. I am convinced everyone is pregnant. Also I hate the acting like you might be pregnant for 2 weeks bit. Its not so much laying off the alcohol and non-pregnancy food but I have quite bad psoriasis and can't use any medication. I wouldn't mind looking like a flakey freak if I was pregnant but its annoying when you've done it for nothing. Last time i was so laid back, assumed it wouldn't be so lucky to get pregnant first time and carrying on drinking etc. I do appreciate I was incredibly lucky to fall so easily.

beth, do you know if those are normal symptons for coming off the coil?

romilly thaks for the temping info. i think I'll use the clearblue digital next month and temping the month after. So I always have something new to try.

I don't think I can keep up with that bd marathon of last month though!

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 10/09/2005 09:04

moring all well temps gone high now 36.83 this morning but im only on cd 14 but ff said my ov day was between cd 8 and cd 10 my boobs are sore too is this cos im ov and ff has got it wrong.Oh i dont blooming no will use persona next mth sounds a lot easier than ff i dont even know what luteal phase is sorry to sound so thick but no naff all bout temping and im really struggling with ff.

munz · 10/09/2005 09:11

lol, debs calm donw honney - LP pahse is after OV, if i'm right ('normally' about 10-14 days ish) and honney FF said I ov'ed on CD18 and I didn't it also goes by what ur CM is doing as well as ur temps, stick with temping - FF kept changing mine when I used it - most annoying.

don't reset persona till CD1 (if u need it)

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 10/09/2005 09:35
