Hello all, logged on for the first time this week as we have the week off work and have been busy doing lots of lovely things (inc lots of bding )

Debs - so sorry to hear the old bat has turned up again. It is heartbreaking isn't it - you try not to get too wound up but it gets you every time. Hugs to you, have a large glass of vino tinto, and I'll save you one of the yummy choc brownies DP made me before he went out for the night!!!!

HBA - trying so hard to catch up - did I see a BFP for you - have just checked to make sure I wasn't making an eejit of myself - I did, I did - hurrah for you and Mr HBA

Had an OV scan last Thurs and they have said that I am as clear as a bell and they are 99% sure it isn't PCOS - aaaaagggghhhh - not sure what to think but we are seeing the infertility DR on 3.10 so will have to see what happens there...

well yesterday i gave into my own pressure and took a poas test, (not due till 4th oct) i know i know too early and it was BFN (no surprise there) im just too bloody impatient!!!!

Stacey - question for you and maybe I'm just missing something here but if your AF is only due on Oct 4th - how on earth can you expect to get a result on a pregnancy test stick now? That's almost 2 weeks away and the 'average' woman only ovulates 2 weeks before AF. So I'm confused - can you explain your situation again?!

Debbsy - . So sorry to hear about AF arriving. What a nightmare - I was so hoping for a positive result for you.

Harriezb - any news yet?

Jen - yes - I have had a BFP. 5 weeks now and feeling quick sick today!

i know handbagaddiction, i cant expect any result at all, i know i know, im just really bad at waiting, and as i had a test there i just had to do it, i think i was expecting it to be a BFN anyway, just being silly really!

So when you think about it then - all the symptons you were describing earlier this week could actually have been ovulation symptons rather than anything else?

Af arrived 5 days late, . Debbsy sorry you got yours too.

So now we have a dilemma, we have a holiday booked for next august along with 3 other families. We knew we were trying for a baby before the holiday was booked and so do the other families and we were asked what we'd do if I wasn't pg by this month - as this is really the last month we can, and that would have meant us taking a 6 week old away with us. So now we have to stop until Feb so that I am not too far gone to fly. I am really not sure that I want to stop. We have decided that we will keep trying and then just pay for our share of the villa if we can't go - but my concern is how the other families will react to this. I really don't want to fall out over this, but can understand that people may be annoyed at me going back on what I'd said I would do at this point. What do you think?

I haven't caught up properly yet so will post a proper message tomorrow. Hope everyone else is ok and fingers crossed for some BFP's soon. If someone wanted to start a new thread I think it might be a good idea - who's up for it?

Do you think you might to IUI (?) debbsy? What does it actually involve?

I can't see the other familes being annoyed harriezb. I am the most easliy offended person in the world and I wouldn't be irritated by that. I mean its not as if you woudl be leaving one person to go on holoday all by themselves is it?

hi harri no news on mum she seems to be coping ok on the oramorph her consultant who ive complained about it on hols again! yet dad rushed in to hospital again last nite so ive been at the hospital all nite with suspected dvt it never rains but it pours.
