Well here goes for the new thread

Welcome aboard the beanie express
Wishing everyone sucess on their TTC journey, and hope that the journey is travelled with friends.

It's a beautiful day today so I hope that that rubs off on our new thread and that we'll soon be seeing some beautiful days here too.

MeerkatsUnite · 05/09/2005 16:15

Milosmum,

I felt quite moved reading your posting

Will your GP not consider referring you to a gynae now?. I only ask as gynaes generally like to see people after 12 months of ttc without success. I cannot help but think that with your history you ought to now see a gynae specialist. I think you are way past the simple methods you are trying now. Both of you in my view ought to be tested further to see if there is any underlying problem preventing conception.

milosmum · 05/09/2005 19:27

thanks meerkats- thats really sweet. I have had success though- 2 mcs. I have spoken to the gp after my last mc- she advised if still no joy by xmas to come back but im not into that, if im just meant to have DS then so be it.....

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 05/09/2005 20:51

sorry about af hula hi mm how are you?

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 06/09/2005 07:27

anyone? does a temprature dip mean ovulation? As ive been temping at 36.29 this morning it was 35.88 hubby and i bd fri and sun was going to this morn but he was tired grrrr said we will tonight though cant help thinking we keep missing out because of this window of oppurtunity and all that.

munz · 06/09/2005 07:38

MM (((hugs)))

debs - where r u in ur cycle? think temps dip b4 they rise back up for OV, temps need to be high for 3 days (above cover line) to OV to hve occurred. if It dips down after OV (about 8/9DPO) can indicate implantation apparently. tht. rom's really the tempin queen!

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 06/09/2005 07:45

im on cd 11 today am i going to miss it do you think?

munz · 06/09/2005 07:47

no no don't be daft it's gotta dip b4 it goes back up again apparently so just keep calm relax and BD away as normal. (also watch ur CM)

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 06/09/2005 07:57

had cm on cd 9 nothing else since sorry for panicking just reaaaalllyyy wannt it to be our mth!!!

munz · 06/09/2005 08:07

I know honney, when do u normally OV that's the first question, i'll email over my chart if u want, I think rom's one was up and down and all over the place!, mine definatly dipped down b4 having 3 high days then stayed up went down and come back up again (then I tested) gotta keep relaxed thou - lie back and think of brad pitt! ooh did I send u the BP email? - that ort to relax u a bit! he he he!

Debbsywillgetherbeanie · 06/09/2005 08:21

normally anytime from cd 11 to cd15 i think, yes please your chart would be great then i can compare brad pitt email i couldnt open for some reason dh just come and given me a cuddle as i was upset and hes cooking me a meal tonight to make up for being tired (bless)how are you catch up later running late this morning.Rom the temping queen where are youuu???

munz · 06/09/2005 08:41

come over to the beanie thread and ask her - she normally pops in at lunch time.

i'll try to send it again for u. and the temp chart. I'd go with the trusted method of BD'ing like john wayne!

Harrizeb · 06/09/2005 10:00

Morning Ladies, hope everyone is Ok.

Debbsy did you get your questions answered about temp-ing - you are going to be the new queen of temp-ing.

Had a great evening, managed to catch up with a couple of school friends I haven't spoken to for a while, we are planning on a ski-ing trip to Italy next feb which will be soooo much fun, I'm looking forward to doing some more skiing myself and getting Ds on ski's for the first time too.

Ok Munz please explain this John Wayne style bding, I thought I knew what you meant and now I'm really not sure.

Take care ladies, and hope you have sunshine.

Speak to you soon.

Hx

hey debbsy - i'm here - ask away and i'll see if i can help. from what you have said so far you are most probably coming up to Ov time (unfortunately temping can only ever confirm by three days of a rise in temp AFTER ov - so for until you have been charting for a while you cant really tell from pre-ov temps, but as your temp has not yet risen you are still fertile which means you should be bd'ing. as munzie sensibly points out you must use temping in conjunction with the MOST IMPORTANT sign of Oving which is checking your CM, so EWCM is green light time.)

hth

munz · 06/09/2005 13:28

ah young HB - the john wayne style of BD is ahem well basically (if u're ready girls!) going at it hammer and tongs for 3/4 days solid around the time of OV! - lock urselfs in that bedroom and get BD - then emerge ahem, walking like JW! (don't know why I'm blushing cos i've known u girls ages! lol.) failing that there's always the 6/8 times over hte 48 hr period which also makes u like JW, and if like me u're too lazy to BD that much then just once does the job as well!

HandbagAddiction · 06/09/2005 13:33

Hello!

On CD17 today and as per usual, it's the most boring time of the month for me...roll on two weeks time. Now got cramps very low in my pelvis which is completely normal for me. Think I may have ov'd on CD14 or 15 this month...although I kept forgetting to do my temps in the morning..so apart from the OPK result, CM and very sensitive nipples over the weekend, I actually have no idea of whether I did ovulate or not!!

Quick question though - and you'd think I'd know the answer to this one by now - but if you do concieve, when does implantation happen??

Hope everyone else is OK.

Debbsy - sounds like you're having a nightmare with the temps, CM and stuff. Can honestly say that for the days that I did manage to take my temparature, it was all over the place and I'm not at all certain that it would have told me anything....but if I'm not successful this month, I will definitely pay more attention next time so we can compare notes!!

Milosmum - you sound a bit down hun - you OK??

Hula - sorry to hear about AF.

Wishing everyone lots of babydust and sending lots of positive thoughts!!

HandbagAddiction · 06/09/2005 13:35

LOL Munz - me and DH struggle to gain enough enthusiasm to do the minimum once every 2 days between CD9 and CD15....let alone JW style!! Besides which....what on earth would we do with DD?

romilly · 06/09/2005 14:06

handbag - implantation usually occurs about 7-10dpo.

it is worth remembering that the great thing about temping is that it does confirm that you have actually ovulated - after the 3 higher temps have shown up - so persevere with it girls! presumably you are all familiar with fertilityfriend.com website - it takes all the guesswork out for you and its free! sign up!

romilly · 06/09/2005 14:09

also meant to say handbag - you must try and take temps at the same time each morning (i know its a bore on weekends!) and before you get out of bed - so keep the thermo next to your bed. also the temps are completely thrown out by drinking alcohol (i know, also boring...but if i managed it then anyone can, its just around ov time you have to be well behaved!)

romilly · 06/09/2005 14:11

PMSL @ munz's John Wayne explanation it worked for me girls!!

Harrizeb · 06/09/2005 14:11

Lol thanks Munz and yes you have no reason to Blush over here - goodness the things we talk about .

Handbag I'm with you, this month certainly I'm not sure I can raise the enthusiasim for every other day let alone several times in a day - although I did seriously consider driving up to Leeds to 'see' DH this evening as I am sure we are about right for OV time and then back again tomorrow am. Also what would DS do while we were busy? can't really ask relly's can you have DS so that we can have sex lots please can imagine the response we'd get.

MM hope you're ok my dear , I'll tell you a clown fish anon joke if you really really want me to?

Hi to everyone else - presume lots of people are lurking or still busy with pre-school start preparations.

Lots of Love
H x
