Hi everyone, back to catch up properly. How are we all? I'm feeling very unhungover considering it's a Saturday, probably due to the fact that I fell asleep on the couch before I managed to finish the bottle of wine last night :o Was completely wiped out all day yesterday after the acupuncture session and felt fairly yucky. She had told me that this was possible/likely as it's clearing everything out of my system and to rest and take things easy, not so easy to do at work though. Feeling better today but still a bit yuck and could happily sleep for a few days. Have a bbq to go to later this afternoon and trying to get up the energy, when really I'd be happier curled up on the couch with my book.

Josie sounds like you're being very restrained with the symptom spotting and avoiding POAS this month, good luck with it. Don't worry about the garlic, it's good for you. I put it in my salad dressings for lunch some days, no one's commented yet but perhaps they're just being polite Sorry I can't answer your question about your cycles, sure someone can though.

Lanky still no smiley faces but my cervix is definitely a lot higher today (sorry for TMI) and I thought I saw EWCM again yesterday. Will see what the temperature says! I've never bothered to try and look for signs before but am curious to see whether I'll ovulate without the clomid ao trying to keep track for the next couple of cycles. Feeling very positive about the acupuncture, and although I'll miss my coffee she did seem to have good advice and was very understanding about how some things are difficult to do in reality (such as drinking litres and litres of water when standing in front of classes all day long without a chance to go to the loo!). Your week sounds hectic, but hope you enjoyed your Friday night, your food sounds yummy. I'd be tempted to go for the scan anyway, especially if you find it as difficult to get appointments as I do, hope t goes well.

MissFlick glad everything went well for your friend. If your ovaries are polycystic it's really obvious on the scan, they look like they have a necklace of beads around them. I'm rubbish at interpreting scan pictures but managed to see that on my ovary scan.

Cherry sorry you're still feeling yuck with the cold. Think I was more zonked then zen after the acupuncture (went to bed thinking it was late as I was exhausted, looked at the clock and it was half nine!) but it's all good. Apparently future sessions should leave me feeling more energised.

Raspberry glad you're feeling a bit better but boo to the horrible man following you round the shops. I'm really missing my coffee already, managed to give up the caffeine no probs but miss the taste, still it will be worth it. This is the gemini, I can do a cross knee release but don't think we've done cross ankle yet. I'm not that good but have quite good strength from pilates and yoga so find some of the strength moves quite easy. Plus have a high pain threshold so will put up with the agony of some positions :o

evil I've just ordered 100 ov sticks so planning on doing them everyday, although not sure if I'll ever see a positive result.

thanks everyone for the kind words re my mum. her op went really well :) they were able to do it without putting her completely under general so i was able to talk to her last night when she got home. she sounded really positive and just glad it was over. my sister and brother were both taking care of her and my dad was expected home shortly so i felt much better about not being there, although still hard. now we just wait for the results - should be about a week... in other news - 8 mile walk was great AND we finished painting the ceiling in the dining room. productive day but i feel exhausted and can't wait for a well-earned bottle glass of wine and xfactor tonight!

Well, today wasn't awful, did have Chavetta in whining all day but my best mate text me at lunchtime and told me to imagine her with a giant fish head which kept me going for the afternoon :) Just waiting for OH to get home from clibing something then will be forced to make dinner, totally lacking in enthusiasm, imagination and inspiration though so suspect it'll be along the pizza/pasta/cheese on toast route lol. He wasn't supposed to be coming home tonight so had a lazy night of eating snacks and watching films planned. May sulk for a while hehehe (well, right up until the paranoid mentalist inside me jumps him...)

As for me.... well, I have news! Firstly, (especially for lanky, crazy bella and all else who like them....) I had my first Porn Star cocktail! Have also made it my profile pic on FB although that is fruitless seeing as none of you are my ?friends? but you know it is there in spirit! carzy it was at Aqua! We had the best night at Aqua and then the Penisula Hotel for dinner and then the comedy club (are you proud of me for posting ALL of this under the influence?!)

Secondly, ERTD arrived! most bizarrely at about 11.30pm this eve.... I always wake up with it in the morning so the timing is slightly off but am not complaining! I will confirm whether it is ERTD in full force in the morning and if so, I?ll be off for my blood tests on Mon.

Managed to get away from the bbq at a reasonable time so that I could have a nice bath and then curl up with a nice glass of wine. DP went upstairs to tidy out the spare room but instead has been playing his computer. I'm trying not to go and hassle him to come and sit with me, he's abseiling off the Finnieston Crane in Glasgow all next weekend for charity and has a practice tomorrow and he's starting to feel nervous.

Flick She's just absolutely chavtastic, ignorant, racist... She has a four year old son, who she conceived after an ecstasy binge, and who she has told us all more than once she wanted to abort but the father talked her into keeping him. She then split up with the father, because he cheated on her, again, and she rants about this at any given opportunity, despite also telling us about her eight month long affair with a married father of two. She complains about everything, all the time, she uses apostrophes as if they're going out of fashion, is intolerant of human beings as a race and I often feel the need to pluck her eyes from her head and feed them to her. She has said more than once that she hates reading, comments constantly on my marriage, despite her general attitude to marriage being, and I quote, "Fuck that for a commitment" she told me she'd rather have another baby than get married as it's less of a commitment. She treats customers like they crawled from the primordial ooze and she makes the majority of the staff want to beat her with a piece of "art" that our MD wants us to sell. The list goes on and on, but basically she's a complete fanny and I can't wait for her to get one of the jobs she keeps applying for, and should she shout at me on the shop floor, over something SHE has done wrong, one more time I may just kill her with a stick. I shall breathe now...

I can be kinda stroppy during ERTD!

I am having the nicest most chilled weekend filled with lots of pottering around and nice cakes and teas chucked in. Bliss! Off to the Thames Festival now where is loads of stuff going on along the river and to top it all off the sun is shining!! My white denim skirt will get a last summer outing hopefully!

Alien Sorry about ERTD :(

Raspberry She does that as well, and not only takes tham back to her flat, where her son is, she talks about them in front of him. A couple of weeks ago she took the weekend off to go to Aberdeen and, on the shop floor, I kid you not, she told us all about her plan to pull and how she was stocking up on condoms, and then when she came back she told us in great detail, again on the floor, this time with her son in tow, she told us all about how she did, what she did and what she did next. It was delightful. She keeps telling us she hates her job, she hates retail etc, so is applying for other jobs. Fingers crossed!

Hey flick I'm cycle 3 now :)
I'm ok just watches DH play footie, now off to the pub for a drink. Then I pulled short straw and have to do the food shopping :( I'll just sneak lots of chocolate into the trolley haha.

Had a busy day of doing nothing today! Had a lovely massage on my quest to zen like state today and have another reflexology sesh on Fri.

I'll catch up properly tomorrow but just wanted to pop my face in and say hi :)

lanky the Porn Star was yummier than I had imagined! I imagine it is quite easy to get wrong though... I love the Thames Festival. I've not had a chnace to catch up on Strictly yet- been watching Eastenders (it was ) and Waterloo Road. Will watch it tomorrow- have enjoyed your thoughts!
