Settle down girls settle down as I hand you all a yummy pornstar cocktail complete with a sparkler and tacky umbrella. I take it we are all wearing our fabulous vintage 50's frocks, high heels and have our red lipstick on? Make yourself comfortable in the penthouse... the naked butlers are just heading in with grapes and truffles in trays...

All new first timers welcome - as long as suitable goodies and alcohol are dropped into the penthouse for all to share.

Morning all,
HAPPY WEDDING DAY KALOKI hope you have an amazing day- will be thinking of you xxx Can't wait to hear all about it.

aly that massage sounds really interesting- I have been googling but can't find many places in HK that do it, suprisingly! Rubbish. There are some in the UK though.

Sorry for the BFN's raspberry and tomboy I will just remind you of cherry and mrsW and saoralba and will say no more. Will just send big drinks and yummy food your way. Enjoy your lovely BBQ tomboy

truffkin your weekend (especially tonight!) sounds lovely. I am going on a work night out tonight which I don't really want to go on and then tomorrow I am treating Mr. Flick to Posh cocktails before dinner at a lovely restaurant and then on to a comedy club. The cocktail place and the restaurant both have amazing views of the HK skyline so I am really looking forward to it.

Good news that your consultant called back HH and your acupuncture sounds great!

Nothing else to report here- work very busy and annoying but my day is almost over now so its not too bad. ERTD has still not made an appearance Angry Sad but on a brighter note, my friend is having her baby today! I will be waiting by my phone all night she is booked in for ELCS at 8.30am so am keeping fingers crossed that she does not get bumped down the list so that I will still be awake to recieve the news (although I already know the sex and name of the baby!)

Have a good day all- I don't have time to do the list today. Sorry xxx

alien06 · 10/09/2010 06:52

Good luck kaloki hope you have the most magical day x

TomboyWife · 10/09/2010 07:37

Morning all, and happy wedding day to kaloki!

truffkin I'm normally very regular, which makes me think (though obviously I can't be sure) that I usually ovulate. The months I've had long and presumably anovulatory cycles have been months with stupid amounts of stress. This month, on the other hand, hasn't been especially stressful, so I don't know.

I had the day 5 and day 21 blood tests this month, so if the results show no ov I'll be able to discuss with my GP what to do next. I'm going to suggest repeating the bloods next month as this one was obviously wonky for some reason.

Right, enough with the me-me-me. Have a wonderful Friday everyone!

LankyLegs · 10/09/2010 08:28

I couldn't read and run but wanted to say have a wonderful day to kaloki !! I know it will be the BEST day of your life!!

I am off to do a presentation to the executive board of the rather large Company I work fo and its easy to say I am crapping myself! Will be back afterwards for a proper read and update!!

Sorry for absence!

Morning all, I just wanted to wish kaloki an amazing wedding day. Can't wait to see pictures!

missflick (love the new name!!) Sorry you are still waiting for ERTD. I hope your friend gets to meet her LO soon.

Waves to all and good luck to those testing over the weekend.

JosieSmith1 · 10/09/2010 09:24

So sorry Raspberry and Tomboy Sad

Happy wedding day Kaloki hope it?s absolutely perfect! Grin Grin

Nothing to report here. Had garlic chicken and garlic potatoes (second attempt way more successful than first Grin) for tea last night and thought I?d got away with it but someone came into the office this morning and asked if anyone had been eating garlic [embarrassed face]. I can taste it in my mouth still so I?m trying not to talk to people! Grin

Normally by now I?m symptom spotting but I?m doing well so far (mainly because I haven?t got any symptoms Grin) and I?m trying to think of next Friday, whan ERTD is due, as the earliest day to test as I usually think ?oooo it?s 4 days vefore ERTD is due, the tests should work now? otherwise I?ll betesting early next week and getting a disappointing BFN again. Grin That?s my plan and I?m sticking to it Grin

kkas · 10/09/2010 10:20

josie so funny about the garlic. according to emma cannon's book it's supposed to be good for the LP period of your cycle so no need to feel embaressed! if it's all in the name of making baybees...

lanky good luck with the presentation. sounds very impressive!

toria you really made me laugh about your dreams about me! i wonder what you think i look like

LankyLegs · 10/09/2010 10:48

Hello you lovely lot!

Goodness loads to catch up on!!

Firstly love the name changes cavey and flick muchos lovely!!

Cavey hope you are not too daunted by all the studying - at least it is something that you enjoy/love and will keep the baby making madness at bay by keeping you busy right?! Where is your lovely friend pink? Hello if you are lurking!

Flick I haven't had a chance to respond properly since you got your news - but sounds like the fab womanly has given you loads of advice on diets etc to help with the PCOS. Quick question- have you actually been diagnosed with it or are you drawing your own conclusions young lady?! When if your follow meeting my dear? Or do you have to wait for ERTD and then get your bloods done?

kkas are you ok? I would have been totally freaked out at what happened too - reminder to us all. Am pleased MrKkas was in too. Poor thing - hope you are not too shaken up. Well done on the running front too - sounds like you are making really good progress - it is totally about getting into the zone. Keep it up! Also - sorry to hear about your mum - am thinking of you and hope you hear some good news soon.

Highheels any signs of ovulation my dear? Sounds like the acupuncture went well? I can imagine you feel quite snoozy after that. I think don't search too hard to look for signs of OV now and just SWI when you want to - sometimes the stress of it all can delay it so maybe take the 'sod it' approach and do it when you want to. It sounds like you also got some good advice from your acupuncturist too.

Truffkin hope you are feeling better for the weekend. I can not bladdy wait for it too - have had the week from hell!

Rasberry am so sorry about BFN. Is there any sign of ERTD yet? I am not going to say anything but i feel your pain - hope you feel better soon.

womanly have a great holiday and I sounds like you got the SWI covered before you go away!

Tomboy sorry about BFN too - as I said to you earlier might be worth temping - really allows you see whether or not you ovulated and the fertility friend website is great to keep you occupied.

Florin how exciting with your new car! I can not wait to get a nice estate at the moment we have an Audi TT ( but it is very old) which I love but not practical at all for baby. Infact I purchased it from my sister and bro-in-law when they had the first.

Bella you seem to be at the top of the list - how is your counting days going? Hope you are well chica

Josie I just realised that we are cycle buddies - on the same day and also my ERTD is due next Friday - hoping it stays away for both of us!! Your garlic dish sounds yum - very amusing about the comment though! Have fun at the christening too!

How are all the lovely recently pregnant ladies crazy, Cherry and kurly? Hope you are loving the feeling!

Waves to alien and toria (very impressed with your cleaning!)

Well I have had the busiest week ever pulling close to 11 hour days as we had a formal gateway review for our project this morning and my project team is full of dithering idiots I had to do most of the work myself. Angry Hey ho the weekend is here and I am SOOOO looking forward to doing nothing!! DH is out this evening so need you to help me decide to:

a) call up bessie mate and go and have a few drinks Blush ! A few who are we kidding?!
b) get some yummy food in - watch eastenders (did anyone see that last night?) , put a face mask on, do my nails etc etc...

Hmmm ...I don't fancy waking up with a hangover either... noot after last weekend's antics and I know if I go out with bessie mate we will get very drunk - plus am wondering whether I should take this 2ww seriously or not. Other than that very dull here - looking forward to some normality!

Ooh on TV chat - can not wait for strictly tomorrow! If anyone likes comedy you can get free tickets to see live at the apollo here: www.sroaudiences.co.uk
I love free tickets! Sorry - its in London for all you non-london folk.

Morning all
Happy Eedding Day Kaloki!!! Savour every moment, it's such a wonderful feeling knowing that everyone there is there because they love you and want you to be happy :)

How is everyone doing? I had a horrible busy day at work yesterday so couldn't chat :( I go to Geneva this evening and really looking forward to it as Mr Crazy has been much of the week. I felt guilty leaving the cats this morning though - hormones kicking in!

raspberry and tomboy you never know, it ain't over til the crimson tide greets you. raspberry sorry for the late reply to your questions... I didn't have any symptoms before I tested, I just thought 'why not'! I got a reeeeeally faint line. I think I was around CD25 but my periods had been weird the month before so I think I might have OVd really early. I am 5 weeks today - and terrified! I know it sounds daft but for that month I was really focussing on relaxing and trying not to think about it too much. I'd read the Emma Cannon book and tried to implement a few of the things she recommended for my type (cold) like making sure my abdomen was warm, eating warm food rather than salad, not walking barefoot on cold floors and SWIing every other day. Obviosuly that is all only appropriate if you are also a cold type - she lists 4 (I think) types and suggests things for each. She also says baths with certain oils help (which I did when I had time) and apparently around and after OV you should eat fresh pineapple?! I did all that and here I am. For now at least!!

Good luck for the presentation Lanky, I don't envy you but am sure you will be MARVELLOUS Grin

missflick your evening sounds fabulous, hope you have a lovely time, and don't forget a ponrstar or two. And your comment about smilies yesterday, please don't stop using them, they really cheer me up!! They are usually the first thing I see when I get to work and its lovely :) Grin Wink :) Grin Wink That goes 4 U 2 highheels!

toria hope you managed to get your wicked way with DH!

truffkin I have missed most of BB... who is the favourite to win?? Have a fab friday night, sounds lovely (was the mention of pizza that did it!!)

Where are cavey and garden...? hope you are both fandabbydozy.

Well that's a mammoth post. Hi to everyone I have missed... had better catch up on some work now before my few days off. Will try to check in later but if not I hope you all have wonderful weekends and keeeeeeeeeeeeep shaggin! xx

Hi could i join you please
my stats are TTC#1 CYCLE 6 UCL 29-31 CD35
We have been TTC since April 10 I managed to get preganant first try but had an early miscarriage no luck since. I am having a weird month nearly a week late but 5 BFN'S just want ERTD to arrive so we can try again. Does anyone know if you don't ovulate one month does that mean no bleeding that month.

KALOKI Happy wedding day

Truffkin · 10/09/2010 12:25

Hi everyone and happy Friday!

Kaloki hope your day is going perfectly for you, not sure where you are but we have sunshine today so hope this has headed your way!

KKas I meant to say yesterday that some friends of ours were broken into whilst they were in bed by 2 men trying to steal their cars. The car keys were in their bedroom and luckily they managed to barracade the door with furniture and call the police. Scary stuff and such a good lesson for security at home, so glad you and MrK are ok. Also really hoping for a positive outcome from your Mom's surgery. Everything crossed for you

Lanky I simply cannot make a choice between your two Friday night options as I love the idea of both! Is your DH back tomorrow? I love a night in pampering myself, eating decadent food and watching what I like on TV but also the idea of a mad night out catching up with my best friend sounds great (and you can indulge in a fry up to cure your hangover tomorrow!). Hope you have a fab time whichever option you go for.

Welcome Puppy and sorry to hear about your MC, hope this thread is lucky for you. I'm not great with understanding ovulation and cycles but there are some great fertility minds on here who I'm sure will be happy to share their knowledge with you.

Crazy hope you have a great weekend, like a mini babymoon for you and Mr Crazy. I really heart Geneva, we stayed at the Beau Rivage for a weekend break in the run up to our wedding and absolutely loved it. In BB news, normally DH is the fan and I can take it or leave it but this year we have swapped sides! I had loved the 'ultimate BB' show and was a fan of Vanessa Feltz who was evicted on Wednesday. Am thinking maybe Brian Dowling will win, or Chatelle but who knows? After tonight it will be all over, although I'm sure we'll manage to survive some how Grin

Ariesgirl · 10/09/2010 12:41

Hello, I know I've not been around but HAPPY WEDDING DAY Kaloki. Hope you have a wonderful day xx

And kkas, hope you're ok, flower. I gather you've been broken into. That's bloody scary - it happened to me when I was a student and I was alone in the house. Shook me up for ages.

Ariesgirl · 10/09/2010 12:42

PS and I hope you're mum's ok. She's probably in the best place in the world for treatment if it is anything horrid. Hugs.

womanlytales · 10/09/2010 12:46

Hello ladies,
Am at the airport having onion soup.... really rich. Managed to run and give blood for P test.... its only cd 18 but they wanted me to do it today... fingers crossed that I ovulated.
Quick wave to ebody... wkend plans sounds fab... cojgrats to kaloki.
Hope to come back to plenty of bfps...looking at u crazy and lanky.

raspberrytipple · 10/09/2010 12:47

Hi Girls, just a quickie from me as at work and my boss always seems to walk in!!!

ERTD arrived this morning so CD1 for me. DP and I had a talk, he's been so sweet and lovely but I know he was very disappointed this time just as I was late so we were both getting our hopes up but we do feel a bit better today. I just think mother nature can be an evil old cow bag when she wants to be, making me late and confusing me was just cruel.

Welcome Puppy!!! Nice to meet you.

Will update later once I've downed a bottle of wine (or two).

LankyLegs · 10/09/2010 12:57

Rasberry sorry about FERTD - sounds like you and lovely MrR have you head screwed on about it though. Gutted for you but here....let's raise a drink to the next month... xx

Womanly have a brilliant time on hols and well done for cramming all that in before flying off! Make sure you properly chill out and enjoy the break.

Welcome puppy sorry to hear about recent mmc. Do you know when you ovulated?

Truff I agree - am not sure what to do - although being quite lazy today after crazy week and early morning so might continue down the same fron this evening and chill out at home! What are you up to - any more football fuelled drunken nights planned?

Hello aries - hope you are doing ok!

OP posts:
MrsWajs · 10/09/2010 13:14

Happy wedding day Kaloki hope you have a fab time!! :)

And hello top everyone else - hope you're all keeping well :) xx

JosieSmith1 · 10/09/2010 13:27

Oh kkas, didn?t realise that! That?s my excuse then Grin. Turns out someone else in the same office had garlic last night too so it?s not just me and I don?t feel as embarrassed now Grin. I really hope your mum gets the all clear, fingers crossed

Lanky we can slowly go mad together then Grin I?d go for option b but that?s because I?m more of the stay-at-home type.

Welcome Puppygirl, I?m afraid I have no clue whether or not ERTD would arrive if you don?t ovulate, sorry, but I?m sure there?s plenty on here who can help

Sorry to hear about ERTD Raspberry but it sounds like you and DH are supporting each other really well. I think my DH has forgotten I exist at the minute!

I need some advice please ? had ov pains at ov time as usual, but then day 16 had really bad ov pains and could hardly move. Then nothing the next day Then yesterday and today I had tiny pains in left ov like I had on ov day, and a creamy, thick discharge (sorry if TMI). Did that make sense? It?s my third month off pill, been regular as clockwork, no signs like this the other 2 months. Any ideas what it might mean?

Ariesgirl · 10/09/2010 14:10

Not too bad actually Lanks. Thanks for asking. How's you? I actually have a bit of a chance for BFP this month, so let the mentalling commence, I say. Only 10 more days or so of it. Will let you know if it occurs!

Truffkin · 10/09/2010 14:16

Josie quick google says that increased thick and creamy CM could be sign of implantation as result of increased progesterone. Really don't want to be contributing to getting your hopes up too soon, but I just have so oops!

Raspberry sorry to hear about FERTD and how upset you both were. Good sign that you are in this together though, non? Here's to a new month of great sex Wink

Lanky no football this week (weekend off due to International games, although will be back up to watch Villa next week, my team!) and a nice quiet one planned for tonight. Out for a friend's birthday tomorrow and that is likely to be a very messy late and drunken night. Looking forward to it though, there will be dancing!

Truffkin · 10/09/2010 14:18

Cross post with Rie am excited for potential menkulling, keeping everything crossed (and wishing away the next 10 days)
