Hello everybody wondered if I could join here as I think this is the best place for me. I started bleeding yesterday after finding out last week that I was pg. The line was very faint which made me Hmm despite people saying on here that it was fine, I knew something was up.

My history is a mmc back in 2006, my daughter was born September 2007 and pregnancy was all normal but very anxiety inducing. Now this miscarriage, thank god very early but doesn't seem to make it any easier Sad

Seeing my lovely lovely GP this afternoon who moved some stuff around to fit me in, I'm always eternally grateful to him for his complete compassion and professionalism, he is amazing.

Anyway, was looking at an old thread I was on called ttc after mc and i remembered how helpful it was and how close I felt to all of those on it, and hoped I would have that again!!

something to make people smile-here I am, bleeding and sobbing, and what should bloody happen but the flush on the toilet falling off in my hand!!!! What a good time for that to happen!!! Bloody dp leaving these jobs.

youremindmeofthebabe · 20/09/2010 11:21

Hello all!
How are you lovely ladies today? I am stiff. Finished my run in just over 2 hours, and feel very weak today! Thank you for your sponsorship, izzy and mamap, the children will appreciate it. it is here if anyone else wishes to donate

mummya I am Shock that you had to wait 4 years! I am making a mental note not to complain about the NHS much now. Sorry you're still BFN. I wasted so many sticks in firt 2 WTF cycles. I feel your pain.

nickster I am so confuddled by the 2 lines darker thing that's going on with the OPK. I also started temping for 3 days and then decided it was too much hard work, for now!

wombat glad the reunion went well, and you held it together mainly with preg announcements, well done you. Am impressed by your OPK, I suspect I haven't even ov 'd for the last 3 months.

waves to all, I need to get in the bath to sooth my aching muscles, but will return later.

youremindmeofthebabe · 20/09/2010 11:22

Sorry wobble, X posted. Welcome Smile

youremindmeofthebabe · 20/09/2010 11:25

Oh, SFB, X-posdted with you too! (slow typer) Sorry you've had a rough time of it, that all sounds awful. Hope you have support, and we're always here for any whinging that needs to be heard. Feel free to vent, it solunds like a really tough time for you. ((hugs))

DachshundsRule · 20/09/2010 11:26

wombat Wednesday as in 9 days time rather than 2 days. (If it was two days I think I'd need a lot of haddocking at the moment!)

sfb I'm SO sorry to hear about your crappy time. I hope DP is looking after you. I hope things get better for you soon. Until then, take care and look after yourself

Jamface · 20/09/2010 11:33

I'm sorry to hear you've had a horrible time brains, it is so frustrating wttc, especially when more things keep being thrown in your way to slow things down. You probably feel really drained and under the weather too if you've lost lots of blood. Are you taking extra iron? I was recommended a good liquid form (easier to absorb) called floradix. I noticed it made me much less tired. Do something nice for yourself every day; a cream cake, a glass of wine, a facial and you will get to the stage, probably sooner than you think, when your body will be ready again

Welcome wobble, I'm sorry about your sad news but hope this thread helps. I have a DS born Oct 2007, so about the same age as your DD! I hope your drs appt goes well. It makes so much difference if you feel they are sympathetic and have time to talk to you.

How typical about your flush, it never just rains, eh! x

Wobblewatcher · 20/09/2010 11:46

Thanks jamface and YRMOTB

I know, how annoying! But if you tip jugs of water down it has the same effect as flushing thank god.

Thanks for the luck with GP, I'm looking forward to venting. DP is at work so lots going round in my head today. Sorry I haven't had time to read up, will slowly catch up with what's happening for everyone Smile

shitforbrains · 20/09/2010 11:46

Thanks all for the lovely words and support.

I'm sorry I can't namecheck... I can't see beyond my own nose half the time these days - but I am really grateful that I can vent in a place where everyone knows how I feel x

DachshundsRule · 20/09/2010 11:49

sorry - cross posted with a number of you there.

wobble welcome! this a a great thread.

yrmotb congrats on the run. Hope you feel less sore soon!

owlshoes · 20/09/2010 11:50

Oh lord, I'm about 6 pages behind again.

SFB sorry you're still feeling so rotten - you whinge as much as you like, you're always assured of a sympathetic ear (and virtual gin and tonic) in here. I've had anaemia and it completely wiped me out - lots of steak and chips required with big heap of chocolate to follow :)

Wobble you poor thing - hope your GP appt is good this afternoon and you're feeling better soon. Welcome to the thread - it's a lovely place to be (given the circumstances) and people are very supportive.

Right; whilst I'm here, is there anyone I need to slap with the traditional haddock? Grin

Wombat33 · 20/09/2010 11:53

Well done on the run youremindmeofthebabe and what a great charity!

Dachs okay - Weds next week. I think my excitement levels on reading your post this morning almost warrent me being fish-slapped for wanting you to poas in two days time... Blush

Wobble welcome and I'm sorry you are going through this again. Hopefully this MC will also be followed by another DC for you. The ladies on this thread have been an amazing supprt for me over the last few weeks and hopefully we can do that same for you xxx

Nicks Sorry. Will be quieter in future BlushBlushBlush

Wombat33 · 20/09/2010 11:55

Hi Owl please don't hit me with the haddock - I only said I 'almost' deserved it...

Wobblewatcher · 20/09/2010 11:58

Thanks dash owl and wombat

Wow you guys are very welcoming! It's rubbish isn't it despite it being v early, I cannot stop crying. Think it's the hormones.

Thinking of trying reflexology, do others have any experience?

Have to ring my weight watchers leader in a minute to tell her I'm not being weighed in tonight. Hope she doesn't ask why...

DachshundsRule · 20/09/2010 12:35

wombat if you want me to POAS in two days time, I can. That way I can't get haddocked for ridiculously early testing, as it will all be your fault! Wink

DachshundsRule · 20/09/2010 12:36

wobble I cried for weeks after my mc, at the slgihtest thing. Don't worry about the sniffles, just cry when you need to.

Don't have any experience of reflexology I'm afraid...

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/09/2010 13:18

appleblossoms welcome back, I hope you enjoyed the break. And also welcome to wobblewatcher - I'm sorry you're here at all but -as others have said - it's a nice place to be, all things considered.

s4b - I'm so so sorry you're having such a crap time ((((hugs)))). You must be soooo fed up with it all now. I hope things pick up for you soon, I do think all our luck has to change sooner or later Sad

dachs - I am making a mental note to get the fish ready for next week, fx those swimmers are doing their job Smile

nickstermum HURRAY for RTD (it feels bizarre to write that but you know what I mean)!

My CBFM went up to high today (day11) so I will be joining wombat (not literally - that would be weird Grin ) on the SWI.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/09/2010 13:19

Oh and YRMOTB - well done on the run!!!

nickstermum · 20/09/2010 13:44

Will catch up properly later.

FFS will somebody slap me with a frozen fish, so it hurts?
Even though i got a little bleed this morn (which is now nothing!) i initially thought was AF, i then convinced myself that i could have OV'd and caught the eggy and that it was implantation spotting so i did a PG test which of course was BFN

GAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its probably AF just getting started!

Wobblewatcher · 20/09/2010 14:07

SFB

Haven't read far back but just seen what you put about post op stuff and it sounds truly awful. You poor thing!!! Take care, look after yourself.

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 20/09/2010 15:09
MummyAbroad · 20/09/2010 15:20

Oh SFB so sorry you are having such an awful time. You poor thing. I had two blood transfusions after an ERPC after the birth of my son and was anaemic for a very long time. Its truly awful and effects you emotionally as well as physically. Please make recovery from this a priority and do everything you can to get your iron levels up fast. If you can stomach it eating liver/oysters/sardines is best. Dont forget coffee, tea and red wine INHIBIT iron absortion, but while wine HELPS it.Thank god there is some good news at leastSmile Raisins pack a decent iron punch too and are easy to carry with you and munch throughout the day.

My mmc got very very drawn out and complicated, 5 months and still counting to be exact. While it is very frustrating and frightening, I DO think there is one advantage, that it gives you time to fully process your grief and recover emotionally. I am sure this is not much consolation now, but in the long run perhaps this WTTC period will turn out to be a blessing in disguise, and when you are physically recovered you will also be ready emotionally to get back on the rollercoaster again. In the meantime, I hope you are getting lots of treats and TLC from those around you. Big hugs xxxx

will catch up with you all later! xx

MummyAbroad · 20/09/2010 16:36

oh bugger, just did a nice long post and lost it!! grrrr

Wobblewatcher · 20/09/2010 16:47

Just back from doctors and he was great.

He is going to do some basic blood testing just to check that I don't have any antibodies that I shouldn't have etc. Would normally wait until someone has had 3 miscarriages but he is very good and very thorough so is going to do them anyway. Said it would be unlikely that there is anything wrong given how early they both were but may as well check it out.

Feel a bit better Smile

Oh and DP has put a nice posh flush on the toilet. I know, I am so spoilt Wink

MummyAbroad · 20/09/2010 16:47

nickstermum Whallup Gathump and Slappy!

Hope it is implantation! Not too much boob feeling now... Wink

YRMOTB Very impressed with the run. Well done you. Puts my 10 min pilates workout to shame (but at least I have started excercise again - yay!)

Wobble welcome to the thread. I am very sorry for your loss. You will find lots of support on here, and the odd fish slapping if you feel your HPTing is getting out of handSmile (Personally I would tell the WW woman, get all the sympathy you can off everyone! you need it!!)

Izzy whizzy go get busy!! and wombat too!!

Thanks to everyone for your lovely messages, helped me get through a pretty rough weekend. DH is making plans to fly to Canada to see if he can get his prosthesis sorted out once and for all. Might bankrupt us but its looking like this or just keep waiting and waiting, and it really is so unfair and hard for him.

I am still Buggery Fucking Nothing, I think I am 11-13 DPO. would love to be able to narrow that down, any charting experts here? Its only my first month doing it and FF gave me a dotted red line. I want a solid red line please! (or just a Bloody Fantastic Pregnant!) Grin Grin Grin

xxxxxxxxxxxxx

MummyAbroad · 20/09/2010 16:49
