Evening all - sorry haven't been online much, it's been slightly stressful here and currently have parents visiting to help out with DD's school induction etc.

Welcome to ladygonegaga and auroraleigh - I'm so sorry you're here but it's the best place to be in the circumstances.

Only a flying visit right now as it's bedtime for me, love the fact that mummyabroad has updated our list pre-uk midnight and therefore gained me an extra day Smile.

nickstermum · 14/09/2010 23:31

WHOOP! Heres wishing vomiting veronica would deliver on the spunky sperm swim shimmie !!!!

Trying to remember what i typed!

Auroroa so sorry you find yourself on here. Its shit! nothing about MC is good - it will get better and easier - although at the moment am sure you think i am crazy. I too was given an empty scan, to be told that there was still a 50/50 chance of viability! Pissed doctors i think! HCG levels came down only after 3 weeks then again i was 12 weeks. have they tested for ectopic?

I too have been having delayed anger/meltdowns/rages although tonight i alienated my parents and sister til i begged forgiveness! I was desparate to be pg before MC now its even worse, BEE picking up on your post on the splinter thread, i too am having guilt about the age gap. DS is 3 in october and i so want a sibling for him!

Well have had some light relief, JAmies America!! been pissing myself at the thread! Anyone see it?! Hilarious. Poor sod.

mamap have been inspecting! Thought i found a pimple the other day, mind you feels lots softer today! NO ew tho so maybe not - oh well will get the hang of it soon. Also using tesco own pee sticks, think they are crap - any suggestions? YROMTB thanks - will maybe try - i have particularly senstivi skin, anything i have used in past has stripped it bare - but wil give it a go :) in the meantime, carry on with dot to dot!

nickstermum · 14/09/2010 23:41

Grumpy so sorry your news wasnt good. Stay positive :) if thats possible.... :(

Interesting - did anyone rread the dailymail today - centre section on recurrent MC. Highlighting all the inadequacies of the NHS and what tests they should be offering but arent! Thought i would mention it.

YROMTB - GRIND IT!!! Mash it into his potato he will never know :)

(have to say TMI ALERT!!!!! Blush been feeding DH with fish oil, supposed to help volume i think... have to say it seems to be making a difference :) Blush

try getting a man who hates fish and anything remotely fishy to take them...... must clearly love me!!

Wombat33 · 14/09/2010 23:54

Just poas (digital one) and got a 'Not pregnant'. Can't work out if this is sad final confirmation, or good because it means my body is moving on. Will do a non digital tomorrow morning as they seem to be more sensitive, just to confirm.

Thanks for the extra day MummyA!

Sleep well everyone, see you for more work avoidance support and encouragement tomorrow.

MummyAbroad · 15/09/2010 02:20

Blush Blush whoops sorry for list timing (and the cock up Velvet!) I got caught up in my own enthusiasm at adding myself and didnt check my watch.

and what are you lot doing up so late? you are normally all in bed by 6pm my time!

nickstermum hope you find it soon. Cant remember who advised it but way back on this thread there was some advice to do "small circular sweeps" which helped me find mine. Have you tried different positions? Re: OPK's I got a positive on internet cheapie but was doing them twice a day (came up positive in the morning, gone by afternoon)

night everyone!

PrettyVacant1 · 15/09/2010 09:34

Pant snot.............................. ha ha ha ha ah a!!!

Wombat33 · 15/09/2010 12:01

Hello everyone! I'm afraid I don't seem to have the brain space to do personals this this morning but I'm awaiting all your news with interest. Hope those who were struggling yesterday are having a better day and those on the 2WW are loving the FAB gagety website thingy that I can't wait to use in a few week's time (hopefully)! I did a FR this morning and got a clear BFN :( so I guess that means I'm good to go again. Still a little bit achy though so have a GP appointment on Fri to double-check everything's okay.

DachshundsRule · 15/09/2010 12:15

Just a quick one to respond to PV and her desperate plea for POAS info!

Officially I'm meant to test on Wed 29 Sep. And of course I won't be symptom spotting like mad before then. no. not me. Uh uh. Not at all.

I feel you ladies may need to lay in a colossal supply of haddock.

But for now I'm too busy at work to really have my mind on that. Oh, and the builders have now knocked lots of holes in my walls, so there is dust everywhere. (And a scratch on my nice wooden floor :( ) There are, for the avoidance of doubt or horror, supposed to be holes everywhere, as they are knocking some extra doorways through for us - but they are still holes rather than having doors in at the moment, so it look more like an industrial unit than a house!

nickstermum · 15/09/2010 13:24

Morning PV i too am now addicted to apps having relented to an iphone! Lovin the one about fertility :) heres hoping they have one soon that will make us pg!

wombat finality! but on a plus things are returning to normal - sad and happy!

mamap thats where i was going wrong. Was doing in aft! DOH do i not know anything. Had lots other symptoms too of OV just slightly lacking on EW - oh well looks like have missed the slot - MUST get a CBFM and do it properly!

waves to everyone else xxxxxxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 15/09/2010 18:39

wombat it is a strange and sad feeling, looking at that first bfn afterwards, isn't it? But try to remember that at least your body is getting back to normal, which is good in terms of ttc again. Fx it won't stay bfn for long.

nickstermum - I'm also looking into bee products!

Can anyone recommend somewhere online/high street to buy? And is it definitely bee pollen I want, or royal jelly, or both? I've found good reviews of both on different websites and not sure where to start Confused

Sillyness · 15/09/2010 19:10

Hi, just wanted to join as my circumstances meet the criteria Sad

MCd in july, ttc again! (no chn as yet)

Good luck to us all!!! Grin

MummyAbroad · 15/09/2010 19:12

Hi Izzy I have bee pollen granules and they taste like dustballs (but I now think of them as rocking horse poo - see other threadSmile ) so I would recommend capsule form. Dont know about which stuff is best, I have never found any real "science" for any of it.. but now I want royal jelly too Smile

MummyAbroad · 15/09/2010 19:14

Hello Sillyness,
sorry about your mc, lets hope its not too long before circumstances start looking up Smile

hugs xxx

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 15/09/2010 19:57

Hi mummyabroad, yep, I accept that science and reason no longer play a part in my ttc efforts, tbh I think if I'd actually found an online recommendation for rocking horse poo I'd be scouring the Internet to find it! Anyway, I'll take your word for it re the granules, capsule form it is then. I've also now come across bee propolis, gawd knows what that is, so now I'm thoroughly confused! Think I'll just get whatever I can find in Holland & Barrett tomorrow.

sillyness - sorry to hear of your mc Sad but welcome to the thread. Fx you won't be hanging around too long before that bfp gets you.

LadyBee · 15/09/2010 21:36

wombat, that's big milestone, I think, not a happy one but an important point in turning a corner on this twisty path.

Hi sillyness, welcome. Good luck!

Dachs, was your house significantly lacking in doorways? Smile I sat in mine trying to think of a place were another doorway might come in handy and couldn't place one so am now imagining your house as having several long hallways.

Hulloooooo prettyv your break sounds so nice. Can I join you? I fancy lounging about and having nice croissants etc.

I bought 'treats' today. Two new nail polishes, a mascara and a magazine. Think I'll take a cup of tea to bed and relax.

DachshundsRule · 15/09/2010 21:55

ladybee the house had a strange layout before due to the previous owners' extension and blocking up doorways, so you had to go through the kitchen and dining room to get into the lounge and there was no direct access to the garage. So we are knocking doorways through from the hall into the lounge and the hall into the garage, and putting in french doors in place of the window in the dining room. I wish we had a house with lots of long hallways! Sounds very grand...

nickster yay on the iphone! i succumbed a few months ago and fell in love with it as soon as i got my hands on it. :)

sillyness sorry to hear about your mc, but welcome. This is a great thread.

Feeling a bit miserable tonight because DH is away for work (and hasn't called yet even though he said he would), the dogs are in kennels because of the building works and the boss from hell was awful earlier. I can't have a glass of wine, I can't find the chocolate and the house is covered in dust. Oh, and there's no hot water because the central heating system etc. had to be drained so the builders could move some radiators.

nickstermum · 15/09/2010 22:53

aaah no dachs

Poor u - enjoy your peace and quiet. Is there at least one room that is dust free you could make into your sanctuary you could disappear into and curl up comfortably?

Hi Sillyness sorry you are here but its very supportive!

Well, i am curled up in a hotel in Brissle, spending a night of rest away from home. Had a bit of a mad day - got accosted by RUDE BMW M4 DRIVER. (not anti bmw drivers, just this one!)

By that i mean i was sat in my car minding own business eating a butty when a BMW drove into me on the tesco car park! To add insult to injury he then accused me of lying, accused me of colluding with the witness who saw him and then point blank refused to give me his details... whilst giving me a load of shit. Not lots of damage but enough to cause a fuss.

Never take on a woman harbouring MC issues and unrelenting conception frustration..... BMW M4 Tosspot man will get 6 points from the police Grin for failing to stop and report a collision Grin... mwahhahahahahahah!

Do i feel bad.....? NOPE Grin

Sillyness · 15/09/2010 23:15

Nickstermum-LOL! Tosspot BMW!

You're all very welcoming-it's nice to belong!

Just back from the cinema to see Tamara Drewe, it's lovely! Random ending, but lovely! Unfortunately no pick n mix as i've been piling on the pounds of late Blush

Sillyness · 15/09/2010 23:21

BTW, was browsing another thread which mentioned eating grapefruit for EGCM (aka pant snot!!!!) and brazil nuts for implantation...probably just a load of ol bollocks, but needs must right?!

nickstermum · 16/09/2010 07:04

silly possibly not..... ? am trying the load of bollocks as we speak Grin

IzzyWizzyletsgetbusy · 16/09/2010 09:44

Hope things are a bit more comfy and calm at your place today dachs - we're in the middle of redecorating so I can sympathise with the chaos, albeit without the holes in the walls! (Although come to think of it we do need an extra doorway here so send any spares my way!)

silly - I'm another one subscribing to all the bollocks this month, am heading off to H&B to load up my basket with random supplements Grin

nickstermum - hope the hotel was comfy, whenever work sends me to one it's always cheap and nasty!

I can't remember who was worrying about age gaps ( Ladybee ?). it is hard, I always said if we were to have 3 I wanted them close together, but after DD it just didn't happen. She's 4 now and just started school, DS is 7 next week, so the possibility of a small age gap has gone for us. I thought when I told them about DC3 they wouldn't be that interested, the time had passed, but actually they were thrilled. Being older, they understood and appreciated it more and were really loooking forward to helping out and being proper big brother and sister. Their attitude helped me get my head around the big age gap, and I don't feel as bad about it now. My (long-winded) point is I'm sure your DC would love a sibling, whenever it arrives.

youremindmeofthebabe · 16/09/2010 10:22

Morning all! I have a day off, without DS, and am currently relaxing in bed. I need to get up soon and go to town, but lack the will! am reminiscing tunes from my yoof via youtube. I'm having a great time! Currnet playlist involves moby, underworld, hybrid and a random bit of trancy stuff.

Hello sillyness. WelcomeSmile

nickster I do have an irrational dislike of BMW drivers. I suspect it's only cos I have yet to meet one and not that im judgy. Slap him with the 6-pointer, it's what he deserves!

Hope DP called in the end dachs. it's wap waiting for them. Hope you found a dustless spot to chill in!

Right I need to get up now. Just one more tune. speak soon all.

owlshoes · 16/09/2010 11:16

Nicks what an absolute arse - I'd def. report him and he deserves the points Grin

silly welcome & please make yourself at home here. Sorry you've had a reason to come and find us but tis a lovely supportive place to be :)

Izzy I'm with you on the absence of science and reason in TTC and suspect the longer this goes on, the more daft things I will do "just on the off-chance". Oh dear, there goes my sanity Hmm

Dachs that does sound dreadful - not being able to find the chocolate is my idea of a nightmare. I think you should go out and restock immediately (several of those 1kg bars of dairy milk should do the trick)

LadyBee Hurrah for treats :)

PrettyV Watch out, missus, I'm after your croissants.

Wombat33 · 16/09/2010 12:15

Morning all. God I feel old. Had to take clients out last night. Great fun but my first alcohol in a couple of months and a last night on a school night. Struggling today!

Izzy and LadyBee - thanks for you kind thoughts. I'm keeping everything crossed (except the obvious WinkBlush) it's not going to be BFN for long either. I hope the decorating is going well Izzy.

Sillyness welcome, but I'm sorry to hear about your MC. I am still stunned at how common they are but feeling positive when I read all the sorties on here about women having health pregnancies afterwards. FX that happens for you and all of us!

Dachs hope the dust levels are settling now the builders have knocked the holes in the walls and the job situation has calmed down.

Nickster !!!!!! at BMW man! He deserves everything he gets in points!! Wow, that really puts my driveway incident in the shade!
