Right ladies I'm off to attempt some cooking! Might use my last early response test tomorrow as I'm due Friday....not holding out much hope.

Have a lovely night

Mojomummy · 07/09/2005 19:49

Hi Strike, well I'm not sure if it helps as I've always had a 28 day cycle, but I saw it on mumsnet (just searched agnus castus) & a few of the mums seemed to think it was useful, so decided to take it.I was concerned because I am desperate to get pg again, that I'd have to wait weeks for a period. Instead I've had one after about 20 days (bits of bleeding in between). And I ovo'd on day 14. I'm open to trying most things. I've also had a reflexology session, which showed nothing wrong with reproductive organs (unlike a pal of mine who had a miscarriage in June). I'd much rather have a go at something herbal, than talk to doctors & be told to wait .

petunia · 07/09/2005 20:04

Evening all,
Just lurking to see how you're all doing. I just thought I'd update you on things. I'm now 7wks pg and if you remember, my midwife didn't want to refer me for an early scan because before 10wks "they can't see anything." This was despite the EPU saying at the time of my mc, that they would do a scan from 8wks and after the midwife saying that, me ringing the EPU and them saying they'd do one from 6wks. So I went to the Drs on Monday and she basically said the same thing, that she doubted that they'd give me an appointment. Anyway, she rang up and they were happy to make an appointment for me. So I'm having a scan on Friday at 12.10. Not sure how I'm feeling about it at the moment, but will probably be very nervous before it.

I lurk most days to see how you all are. I feel really awful when I read things like Lottielou's post today on wanting to be pg. Makes me wish I could do something to help. Really hope for some good news for you all soon.
Petunia.

HELLO I'm back!!!!!

Had a lovely time on our break with Mickey Mouse, it was great, and yes they do still have a its a small world.

Coathanger - good to have you back with us, have missed you loads, you've been away so long didn't have time to CAT you back on Saturday sorry, but yes i did get your email thank you. I think you're wonderful just the way you are, and its great that you're so positive, but watch out for those low days that will creap up on you, and please feel free to share them with us, you don't have to put on a brave face for us, you can be whoever you want here. Excellent news about your tests, i bet that took a load off your mind, thats brilliant news.

Peepee - I am so, so sorry that you're little beanie didnt cling on, sending you and your family all our love and best wishes, I noticed you haven't been on much, you know you need to take time for yourself, come back whenever you feel upto it, we're here for you, as you have been for us.

Maddyd - Getting Married in Florida, that was our dream, i am so jealous we wanted our family to see us married though, and they couldnt all afford toc ome, so we had a gorgeous wedding in this country. I know you will have a fabulous time, where are you having it?? i want all the details. We are saving frantically to be abel to afford to go back to orlando in December 2006, we can't wait. p.s. its nice to see that you think about us, and i can honestly say i think of you everytime i'm on here, there are a few of us that have been on here the same anount of time, we m/c so close together. Our time will come

Auntynon - fingers crossed for your tests at the doctors/hospital for your lump, i hope it comes back positive news for you, it was today wasn't it? when will you get the results?

Spub - welcome back from your hols, hope you ahd a fab time, sorry to hear about the thrush, hope ti clears up soon. I have to sayy Helkkats suggestion at the live yoghurt, made me cringe, can't imagine doing that, yuk. sorry hellkatt, i'm sure it works though.

Wishingchair - welcome back, hope AF is going a bit easier on you and that you're okay today. you need a nice soak in the bath.

Strike1 - glad you had a good holiday and anniversary, ours was great too, i thinki got confused, ours was on the 5th not 6th, hope you had some great quality time. Happy 2nd year. Our first has really flown by. I spent the dayc hecking my watch and reminding DH of what we were doing a year ago at 2pm etc. wish i could do it all again, it went too fast.

Lottielou - where shall is start, i hope that you're alright, and deep down i know that you're not at all. I totally understand why you didn't let me know, and i thank you for letting us enjoy our break. But i am now VERY worried about you and will be texting you in a few minutes. I have to say although it does sound a bit suspicious that you have had clots, I too have had the same thing happen, and secretly wondered if I was pg, but it is quite possible that it is just AF being a bit mean and clearing out some of the "gunk" that we don't need to make way for our little beanies in OCTOBER. We will be fine.
Regarding vitamins and too much folic acid etc, I think you will be fine after taking too much, and I ahve read that apparently taking normal vits when you are pregnant can be a problem, so they advise you take specially designed pregnancy vitamins like pregnacare then you can continue once you are pregnant.
Missed you too matey i'm back now and not at work until Monday, so you can take over the rest of my week.

Hi to everyone else who i haven't addressed hi to Hellkat, nicmum2boys, erm and lots of other people, hope you're ok.

Petunia - i am very pleased you have got a scan booked, now don't expect to see lots, it will be tiny, but stay positive there is no reason why this pregnancy won't be successful.

auntynon · 07/09/2005 22:37

Thanks Diddle, it was today. Went to the breast clinic and was examined and was told that the lump is nothing to worry about. Dr said he thought it was an enlarged milk gland/duct and not to worry. I will be having an ultrasound and will go back for another check up in 3 months but pretty much all clear.

CD 11, BD last night, tonight and rest of week!

auntynon · 07/09/2005 22:42

I was off work today and had lots of stuff to do, saw pregnant women every where, loads of them. Also when went to hospital for breast check started crying as soon as I walked in the main entrance. Didn't occur to me before I went but the last time I was there was to have early scan at end of July. Saw heartbeat and everything was ok, 2 days later I M/c, all came back to me, my mum was with me so was ok but was really upset. Soooooo want to be pregnant.

Coathanger · 07/09/2005 23:12

LL - how are you feeling today?

Coathanger · 08/09/2005 08:01

Do you think we should start another thread - this one is very long and even my broadband connection is struggling when I click on Add Message!!!

I don't know the etiquette when it comes to these things...

And I need to ask you another question (all groan...). I want to do something fab for my DH. It can't cost too much but I want to tell DH how wonderful he is and that I appreciate him and all he does. Do you have any ideas? (clean ones please!)

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 08/09/2005 08:14

What about a night out (doesnt have to be expensive, maybe a visit to the cinema)organise a sitter and when he gets in from work run him a bath and get dressed up.Sometimes the menfolk like to be thought of as first in the household which is difficult when little ones come along!

Coathanger · 08/09/2005 08:17

Hmm, sounds good CP. Is there anything good on at cinema at mo? Don't go very often...

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 08/09/2005 08:48

me neither

soz havent a clue!!!!!!!!Try teletext I would but we have cbeebies on (again!!)

Coathanger · 08/09/2005 09:10

Will log on to local cinema website....

Well, just dropped DS3 off at nursery again. Wailing again. But just left this time - I didn't hang around. Just hope he's ok...

maddyd · 08/09/2005 09:37

Just checking in, wheres that strike gone? Have you tested???

Chocolatepeanut, i am shagged. Been doing it every morning for about 5 days now. Dp thinks its christmas. Dragged him back to bed just mins before he left for work. He had a meeting at 8 and at 7.45 i was asking for a quickie. He then left for work so i sat for 15 mins with my legs in the air. Am i desperate or what Please tell me im completeley normal, someone please???

I am reading Jules Oliver book at the moment and compared with her i am. Bless her its a great book, i didnt realise she had problems concieving.

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 08/09/2005 09:38

He will be fine.I bet as soon as you were out of sight he was playing happily with the others!!

Going off now.Back on after 7

munz · 08/09/2005 09:42

mads (((hugs)) yes u're normal, and florida for ur weddin eh - u go careful there young lady! fingers crossed for u.

Coathanger · 08/09/2005 09:51

Maddy - you are completely normal! When me and DH were trying for our first (which was for 3 years) everytime we BDed I would lay with my legs up, pillow under my bum and would stay like that for hours (well, maybe not hours but you know what I mean...) And (and yes I know this is TMI) I would only BD on my back so nothing would "run out" and be wasted!!!

strike1 · 08/09/2005 09:53

Morning.

Welcome back Diddle!!! Glad you had a good time.
BFN again this morning I did an early Response one too, so I guess it true I'm on CD 34 today and last month AF arrived on CD 35 so I'm going assume that's it and forget about it over the weekend. Lottie your cycles have been getting longer and longer aswell haven't they? Did it happen gradually or just just go up one month?

Good news about your scan Petunia, let us know how it goes.

Coathanger · 08/09/2005 10:03

Strike1 - aww sweetheart I'm really sorry about your BFN If you don't get AF tomorrow will you test again after weekend?? Never give up hope, hun. Don't any of you give up hope {{{HUGS}}}

Coathanger · 08/09/2005 10:09

Things aren't so rosey in the wardrobe today. Feeling a bit low. I am really feeling for you all today: Petunia with her scan (really hoping all is good), LL with her "AF", Strike with her BFN, auntynon and her lump, hoping maddyd's BDing pays off, those of you with long cycles, my mental health and anyone else I have failed to mention in my emotional state.

I know I'm the one (with LL) that normally makes you laugh but I really do have feelings too and I just want to get hold of you all and give you a MASSIVE {{{{{HUG}}}}} XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

Somebody cheer me up....

strike1 · 08/09/2005 10:12

Thanks CH. If af stays away then I will test after the weekend. My other worry is if I do get a bfp then how come I don't produce enough hcg to set of an early test and could that have anything to do with previous m/c? As you can see I'm a natural born worry pot (as my mum used to call me!) I really don't understand how we could have missed, we were at it like rabbits this month, oh well at least I get to do that again ! There's always an upside

cori · 08/09/2005 10:17

Hi guys, just checking in. Whats been happening here,? any one due to test?. Any one planning on joining me on the pregnancy after M/C thread soon.
Anyway, I am OK. Have had up days and down days. I have had Morning sickness most days it comes in waves. I tend to wake up in the middle of the night with it.

I have my first scan on Monday. The first hurdle to overcome.

strike1 · 08/09/2005 10:18

Awwww chin up coathanger!!! You our little ray of wardrobe sunshine. You clean out that closet, let as have all the moth balls. No bottling it up and going all tears of a clown on us. You have to let out all the sad stuff as and when you feel it. We're all here for you.
