Evening everyone, where to start? ai- ai-ai (throws up hands in Italian way)
barbie - echo what everyone has said, rmeove that stick you are beating yourself with and replace it with a big fatfree gold star! Like monkey - I'm almost murderous if I have rubbish sleep and shudder to think how I would have bene if DH hadn't let me catch up EVERY weekend during the dark days of Ben's nocturnal feeding.
Try upping the solids at each meal so her booby feeds become more and more just snuggle time that calorie time.
Food wise, I started with one (large Anabel Karmel) cube of either fruit or veg mixed with rice at lunch then dinner time followed by a Plum baby yoghurt. D is nearly 6 months so maybe up the ante and offer cereal for breakfast too? Your aim is to have D on 3 meals a day just like you with brekkie @ 8am, lunch @ 12pm and tea @ 5.30pm.. B squash and sweet potato always look more filling too and go nicely with pear and apple mixed in for sweet taste.
Come 6 months you can introduce protein and at this stage I made cauldrens of cheese sauce
and poured it over brocoli/cauliflower etc. Then by 7 months I introduced fish/chicken and beef in the form of cheesy fish, bolognase and chicken with stock which can be mix and matched with any of your beg choices.
Hope this helps x
mermaid - ADs be gone... They're not for everyone and really hope some tlc, reduced workload and pampering DH help you move fwd along with us Emmsy's, the gym, your sense of humour and love of throwing yokel into a sentance
.
cupcake - I bow to your DB's brains! I got the first answer correct (what letter...I only go it as one of the hints was Dorothy's dog - TOTO!). Only got one further one (the mugshots of stars from their youth!). I've boxed and wrapped up your goodies and Ben and me will post tomorrow as a dander over to our local post office, enjoy and hope they fit!
Vjay - well done you for negotating Dundee! Big
at Ajay getting his furst dressing gown and slippers. Man o man he is nearly one
!!! Here's a heave up to get you back on the diet wagon
louey and monkey - loving your Boden choices
. I had the jacket version of the velvet coat couple of years back. It was an eye watering £90 but got it in the January sale for £54 which is still a bit much but it does swing out at the back so nice
. louey - where are we with your symptom spotting? Have you caved yet? Is TEW showing her face? Have voted for your sis. Is she in America?
4ever - yay! to S sleeping through, you are one lucky lady. My neice was the same, slept throughy from 10 weeks as she was a BIG baby and just filled up her tummy before bed. She's now 9 and loves her sleep to this day
. You need to step away from your wallet now
, its soo hard when there are so many lovely things to buy. where are you thinking about re: Cyprus? I love it, been to Pathos twice and had a big 5 star fortnight there with DH the summer we conceived Isaac. Halycen days of reading, sunbathing, dinner and DTD
.
MLS - loving your website
. I'm revamping the boys playroom and quite fancy a photo of them when Ben is a little older...
We're in the middle of getting our garage converted to a dining/family room and they broke through the wall today which was sooo exciting as they have been holed up in the garage doing who knows what. The builder(Steve, 4 sugers in his tea, lots of tattoos, calls me toots
) just sawed a door shape in our hall, popped in a door and voila welcome to your new room
. DH and me are dying to play in it tonight and measure it up for possible corner sofa (we have dining furniture already as playroom was once our dining room). Standing in there earlier was like being in a new house again - man I am easily pleased these days.
Talking of which, I must go down and get my mood board started . I'm going pink floral with the curtains in my "I'm the only female in the house, I deserve a pink room" kinda way. Subtle of ourse, big swirling poppy pink with muted grey accents -
