Tried the 9am morning nap thing, one hour of crying and it didnt work, it was then time for her feed and she feel asleep in 10 mins and slept for 2.5 hours...didnt have the heart to wake her. Im going to have to toughen up if i want to follow this book!
What i dont get though, is if she misses her sleep and we have to wait until the next one, surely she will be so over tired its going to take ages for her to settle?

That confused me too. I think just now you need to concentrate on getting her less overtired then do the extnction for naps. Sleep begets sleep and all that. [hsmile] Bet it felt great when she fell asleep last night!

Good, thats what im doing thanks neeko i will just get her to sleep any which way for a min, only using that method if/ when she wakes after 45 mins and there really is no need for a fed. So which method have you gone for?

Sorry for delay just got back from work saw baby blob on screen with a heartbeat I promptly cried and now breathing several sighs of relief before ducking head back in sand back later but thank you all so much for your thoughts I really appreciate it and don't know where I would be without you all and I am so glad that I found this thread and such special ladies. Off to cry some more tears of happiness then maybe a nap as feeling like a vomiting sloth these last few days back later xxxxx

I dont know too much about your dt but i just read the newest Jodi picout book about a boy with asperges (sp?) and it talked loads about what being on the spectrum means and gave a better insight to someone as clueless as me.
