How's that? Just hope we all haven't had the same idea and there are now 5 new Emmsys threads

Neeko · 02/08/2010 12:00

Hi

Sabs So sorry to hear of your loss.

Barbie Grinning and bearing it is hard. We were up 5x last night including a dirty nappy that seeped through nappy, babygro, sleepingbag and sheet. I was soaking it in Napisan at 3am! Hope Dolly's results come back ok.

Hi Mermaid

Adding in to the Emmsy's weigh-in

Neeko to lose: 28lbs Lost so far: 2.5lbs.
I did the same as Vjay and had lost a pound more on Friday so relaxed at the weekend. That'll teach me.

barbie1 · 02/08/2010 12:14

neeko i found the trick is to only and bear it in public, the the privacy of my own home im more like this this or this POor you and the stinky poo! I had one all over me the other day, this was after changing a dirty one and the madam refused a nappy back on...i thought oh ok you just had a poo we will have nappy no time for a while, big mistake! I wont go into details but yuk!

bluesatinsash · 02/08/2010 13:27

We post at work whilst eating my Ryvita..

barbie - you have a great weapon at your disposal - your sense of humour . It will get you through these hard days/weeks. Had to at you being in public but more in private. We need a kanckered emoticon - smiley with eyes closed a tongue hanging out?

Seriously, I do think you have the most wonderful spirited and advanced DD (standing already? !!)but as she is still so young the pay off is disrupted sleep as she teeths and grows. I have been v. v lucky so far that B seems to teeth suripticiously and it doesn't affect his sleep..

You also have the added tireness of bf. It really does knock you for six. We can't see our body makingmilk but it in itself is tiring, i always felt like my blood circulated slower when I was bf and I was just slower and more tired in general..

All you can do is hand in there and offload to us. Is there any way your Dh could give you if not the night off but at least a chunk of it to get even a 4-hour stretch? how is D at taking the bottle these days?

I hope you take 5 mins every day to give youself a big fat pat on the back for even maanging to fake tan and put a big fat on your face. Oh and I at the canvas prints with D in her fairy wings... Has given me some food for thought for xmas pressies though maybe not fairy wings - but then again...

Neeko - having seen you in the flesh I would agree with maxi dress idea. I think teaming it with a cropped cardigan would compliment the longness of it too and act as cover up when bf.. Well done on your weight loss so far but remember you're still bf too. LOL at your DD1 not needing to drop a dress size .

Vjay - have fun with your sister and well done too for the weight loss. 4ever txted me last night and is lurking on phone. She's hoping to boot up the PC this week. She sent me the piccies of S's bronze casts and they are just gorgeous .

cupcake - well done you on massive post . Awww at J lying there sucking his thumb. Bet you had to check your clock a few times to believe it was actually 7AM!!! He may just be one of these babies that sleep through early - .

MLS - I actually caught Enders on Thurs/Fri as we were at DH's cousins. I make her as we always watch Enders and Corrie when we're there and she has to put up with me asking lots of plot questions. I was at least able to know who Lucas was!

Hi Annie and go E! I'm like you re: LEGO and moving it to higher levels . Not just yet but DS1 has been warned and already knows not to put any of it on blanket on floor as that's B's territory. hope little O's op goes OK. Big strong hug for you whilst you watch him go under x

monkeybum - got my hands on the new Boden last night! Loving some of the cardigans and blouses... must get some of my stuff on e-bay to fund it all . Glad you had a lovely time with your family the other day x

Sabs - so sorry to hear about your news . Hope you're all bearing up. Saara would have provided a much needed distraction and something lovely and positive to focus on .

mermaid - sooo, what did you think of TS3?? did you redeeem yourself with your DS after your days of semi listening and "yes dear" .

Had a lovely weekend away, but boy was I glad to be back in my own bed last night . We've all decided to go to Florida in 2015 and 'do' Disney. 12 adults, 9 children - bring it on!!

Right, better shoot, lunch over, let the work recommence .

loueytbg · 02/08/2010 16:37

sabs am so sorry about DH's uncle. It must be a rough time for you all (((HUGS))) Hope you get some positive news on the job front. Did the DVD player help with calming Saara down in the car?

barbie uugghh poor you. Please don't apologise for the whinge post. Lack of sleep is a nightmare - but it does sound as though the teeth may have something to do with it. Fingers crossed they come through soon and hopefully the weaning will sort her sleep patterns out. I think blue has said some very sensible things (as always). Especially trying to get DH to help so you can have a decent chunk of sleep.

cupcake Well done to J on the sleeping!! I agree with neeko I really wouldn't worry about the weight yet. Whoever said that bf'ing makes you lose weight is talking rubbish - it had the opposite effect on me and talking to most of my NCT group - they were the same. I think in part because I was eating more because I was so hungry. My weight only started to come down once I stopped bf'ing. It is obviously coming off if you are able to fit into smaller clothes so you will get there. I reckon 9 months on and 9 months off is a good saying to have in mind. We are not all supermodels. Re cycle - if it was a breakthrough bleed it was more like a flood - more like an AF I had when I was a teenager with period pains to boot. However it may have kicked my cycles back into some kind of action. Am slightly excited as today had EWCM and a +OPK which hasn't happened since mc. Guess who is getting seduced tonight... I am charting, will try and dig out the link so you can all stalk me

vjay well done you! What a good start. You need to step off the scales in the meantime though we all fluctuate in weight from one day to the next. Now you have explained that your christmas presents have to be delivered, I will let you off the hook a little for buying them in July. Only a little mind you

Talking of early christmas shopping - those of you who frequent ELC - go and buy some little stars yoghurts. Currently they have 20% off vouchers on them. Worth it even if your LOs don't eat them. We have used them in Mothercare where there is an ELC concession too. They are valid until October so I would stock up on a few and save them to do some early Christmas shopping.

mls 30 weeks - start the count down TBH I wouldn't be worried about your weight gain - everyone varies so much. I have managed to avoid BB this year although I did watch the first night. Too much sport on this summer - world cup and we've been watching the athletics for the past week every evening.

blue loving the disney plan - and you will have more adults than children so it will be fine. We would love to do it too, especially since my two appear to be theme park junkies and DH and I love them too. We went when they were 1 and did SeaWorld and the main Disney park in Florida, but they were too young to appreciate it then. They were free though so we didn't mind and we went there for a holiday, not specifically to go to disney IYSWIM.

monkey meant to post over the weekend about the new Boden catalogue Unfortunately I'm skint but I am still hankering after a couple of things in there. May save them up until they do a discount offer and I have a bit more money (and can convince DH that I really need a new coat...)

neeko that must have been some poo. Poor H and poor you for having to deal with it in the middle of the night (sod's law I know). Hope the sleeping improves soon - she's not teething too is she?? Well done to you on losing 2.5lbs despite the full boobs. Keep that up and you will be nymph-like very soon Have fun with your sister and I hope the shopping trip goes well today.

annie well done for finding us and on the fabby weight loss, I would definitely be blowing my own trumpet . Glad the return to work is going well. Hope O's op goes ok - am sure he will bounce back very quickly. Horrible to have to watch him go under though. Hope the wedding was fun!

lbm yay for sleeping babyJ. Must have been very hard work getting them all out of the house by 8.30 for swimming lessons. It will be very nice for your older DCs to have a break away and you to have a break too.

mermaid am at you taking DS to see Toy Story. Did he/you enjoy it?? Can't wait until mine are old enough to do cinema trips. DH hates it so we hardly ever go.

jools hope you are ok. sounds like you had a rough weekend. Are you off on holiday soon?

moon how are things?

QA hope you have a very lovely and relaxing holiday

waves to lurking 4ever and anyone I've forgotten.

All is well here - went for a run last night which has de-stressed me a bit. I am going to try and run into work tomorrow (get off the tube early and run the rest of the way) otherwise I am struggling to fit it in and at least I will start the day having done some exercise. I am also feeling quite fat at the mo but a couple of weeks of running and not drinking too much will sort that out. Haven't yet organised the acupuncture appts - too busy this week again. Took the boys swimming on Saturday and Luke is now properly swimming with arm bands - so wonderful to see. He said "mummy - you're so proud of me!" Bless. Like mls I've also been de-cluttering the house now that we've moved the boys into their new room. Lots of things to go into our already full loft and to the charity shop. I am also going to attempt to sell some stuff on ebay. Any tips welcome!!

Oh and the stamps - DH inherited a large collection from his uncle a few years ago and I've been trying to catalogue them in order to sell them. Apparently there are some valuable ones in there, but nobody really knows which ones and we don't want to get ripped off. I'm up to file 30 and there is at least another 15 to go. Is quite interesting but very time consuming and I don't have a lot of time at the moment to do it.

Neeko · 02/08/2010 21:37

Hello. Me again

Barbie I second the gold star for managing to in public. Think you're a fab mum!

Louey Very excited by your +OPK! Hope this is your month. I was a bit to hear you didn't lose weight when BF. I've always been convinced that twins would make you svelt. Oh the propaganda that the NHS spouts!

Blue Glad you had a good weekend but you really can't beat your own bed. I tried on a few dresses in Monsoon today including a maxi one but I'm not sure it's for me. I did like this one and it'd be good to feed in but I'm still too lumpy and bumpy to purchase. What do you all think? Can anyone recommend a nice bf-friendly one?

Got DD1 sorted with a lovely pink dress from TKMaxx. So easy when you don't need to drop a dress size

4everhopeful · 03/08/2010 12:11

Hello everyone! Ive managed to get on the PC!

Sabs very sorry to hear about your DH uncle hon.. Sound like you have had a rough time of it lately.. Fingers crossed on the job front today.. Big kiss for Saara X

Barbie you poor soul, how is Dolly today? Did you catch all her wee & poop?! Hope the poor mite is ok and settles down so you can get some sleep again! I thik your doing fabulously, at least DH is back home now...

Mermaid my lovely, your dieting antics made me laugh! Your a gym bunny anyway so does not matter! Hope you been hanging in there sweet? Sure DS is keeping you busy entertained during the hols! Am also itching to see toy story...! x

OOOP crying bambino - one hand typing commencing whilst booby snacks occur!

Neeko have been enjoying the diet & christening chat! Well done on the few lbs dropped! When is your christening booked for? Have been loving organising Summers! Its like our wedding all over again, specially as its our same lovely vicar and church! Havent thought about clothes for me yet though its been all on the decs/partay! Yesterday went to brill party shop who did some of our wedding stuff, & ordered pink almond favours ready made with little name tags & pics, how cute! Also a personalised banner with pic, & pink table confetti, just cake & balloons to go! The venue is gorgeous set in stunning landscaped park & gardens, its a lovely room & their even throwing in the chair covers & pink bows! Have got a great deal too so v pleased with ourselves, went & paid for it on Sat and had a yummy dinner at the restaurant!

MLS wow 30 weeks! The time is just flying! You must be in full on nesting mode now! Another fan of Enders and BB here! Agree the ignore the obvious task was best ever!

Louey in awe of you juggling everything with twins! Running/swimming/de cluttering/stamps ect! Most importantly though, yay for the opk, pom poms are out! We need more BFPs!

Monkey lovely, hope you are doing ok too? Think of you often.. Are you back home now after visit to family? I must check out this boden cat your all talking about!

Big hugs & babydust to our lurkers Jools and Moon, not forgetting Bq.. x x x

Vjay you are not alone, I also have a few bits for christmas put away as also have an abundance of neices nephews & friends kids to buy for, as well as a load of Ils!
Hope your having a great time with ya sis & pats on backs for the weight loss!

Blue hows work? So mad your back! Seems only the other day you had B! Takes me back seeing your sneaky posts from your desk! I popped in my work yesterday again with S! Theres only about 10 left on my floor out of the prev 80 now redundant, v wierd.. So glad im out,one day in many years time(!)when if i ever return to work, i thought of admin for nhs as i felt so part of our hosp over last few years figured i may as well work there!!

Lovely to see your post Annie, another case of flying time.. bless poor lil O, hope all goes well with the op, what a heartbreaker for you, however routine, jabs were bad enough! heres a hand to squeeze...

LBM sounds like you have military operation in your house! Glad J is getting more settled and the poo issue is slowly resolving itself! Be nice to have a break for you all..

Lastly never leastly, my fellow mummy buddy cupcake we have been so on the same road! Was also 10stone before preg (9stone before mc ) but now stuck at 12stone, although lost half a stone in last few weeks! We also seem very blessed to have such chilled babies S has also slept through for a few nights, but only wakes once if not after about 6/7 hrs, she also loves long lie ins with mummy after she does have early morning feed! She has dozed off on booby as we speak.. Also really hope your not affected by prolapse, turns out that was prob causing most of my discomfort going to the loo rather than the piles (tmi ) as its the rear wall of my fanjo Im now doing 100's of pelvic floor exercises, tons of fruit & stool softeners . Luckily for us sex isnt affected and they reckon future pregs wont be either.. As you said they do the op after your done having babies so doesnt reoccur as is mainly caused by long labour, difficult birth, forceps & episiotomy.. Im still going back to docs on thurs tho to ask for a referral just to deal with it as well as I possibly can tho!

PHEW! Mammoth one handed post! Hopefully redeemed myself for shameful lack of posting lately! Have been so busy! Hardly at home! Visited 82yr old Nan & 88yr old gt aunt, getting christening sorted, got some proffessional pics of S done at mothercare last week (one of those visiting stalls) that was fun! Also DH grandads 84th birthday on fri! DH on lates, just juggling really! Been great though but time is going to fast! S is 10 wks tomorrow! She is a real dream though, was fab after jabs, just slept it off.. She is getting so big, 11lb14oz had to go through some of her vests & babygro's that no longer fit and shes also too big for her moses now, we ordered a crib cos her cot is just too big & looks lovley in her room, but its been in the hall for 2wks as cant bear the idea of putting the moses away! Poor things head an toes touch the ends! She really is a constant joy though, grinning & laughing, cooing & gurgling trying to talk to us always pushing herself up, we call her meercat! If we hold her up she does walking motions & she has to have her playtime on her activity mat which she loves, she trys to grab things, but has also discovered how effective kicking everything is & is extremely pleased & excited when she moves things and grins way to herself! I could just play & watch her all day!

Anyway, no doubt have missed some of you, forgotten things, and x posted, also have numb arm & heavy sleeping babe on lap! I will be back sooner than prev, but as always will be lurking from phone!

I have posted some new pics on updated profile (finally), inc the amazing bronze casts of her hands and feet done t 6wks, we collected them last week and shes grown more already!

monkeybumsmum · 03/08/2010 14:38

Just a hurried one from me - SIL was due to arrive 20 mins ago, and no sign of her yet so thought I'd quickly catch up while we're waiting!

Sabs I'm so sorry to hear about your dh's uncle. Am thinking of you all and your extended family.
Have you heard anything about your job yet? I hope they can tell you something positive. It must be horrible not knowing what's going to happen.

4ever Lovely long post! Wonderful to read about S - with all the description of her I can almost imagine I'm in the same room She is one lucky girl having such a doting mum, and I'm so glad her jabs went well!
Yes, am back home now, and am v happy to be getting on with organising my cellars Am slowly working my way through the whole house which is great!
Deffo look at the lovely clothes from Boden!!!! Mind you, veeeerrry dangerous so beware!
ps Beautiful casts - you can cherish them forever, what a fab idea

Barbie You are doing sooooo well, just as others have said. It must be incredibly tough for you on so little sleep, and you must feel like you're going mad by now. Poor Dolly not feeling too good. I really hope she feels better soon, and that she settles down more at night. You really are a wondermum to be able to keep going, let alone managing to put smiles on all our faces when we read your posts (apart from the crying bits obv). You'll get there lovely xxx

Louey Wow, lovely long post from you too I don't know how you manage to find time to do all these things with twins to run round after! What coats do you like from Boden? I quite fancy the long purply one, can't remember the name/fabric! Only just managed to stop myself going on there the other day - had the corners turned down on relevant pages and everything!

Blue at you and your Ryvita, mind you it is rather tasty! How exciting planning a trip to Florida! Is it family members you're going with? That'll be amazing! Also, it's enough time to plan and save up (and anticipate) - am v envious!
What is it you're planning on getting from Boden? There's a gorgeous green and black dress that I would love. Shame my b'day's so far away! Is it easy to sell stuff on eBay btw? Have always wondered, it seems a great idea!

Neeko Lovely dress - are you sure you wouldn't be able to wear it? The best dresses I have seen were all in Monsoon, just about all of them are gorgeous! I thought maxi's weren't me either, but ended up feeling v glam when I wore it. We must just get used to rushing round after little ones whilst wearing just about anything we've managed to pull on (in my case anyway )

Think SIL's here as dogs have just raced out - sorry to rush off ut will come back tomorrow!
Love to all and big waves to those I haven't mentioned! xxx

VJay · 03/08/2010 18:26

Evening

4ever I echo what monkey said, I felt like I was sitting next to you looking at your gorgeous girl, and those photos are so lovely, I love her hair The bronze cast is fab. I'm glad you're enjoying being a SAHM, I love it too, to be honest I don't know where I would fit in work!

louey yay to the positive OPK, hope all was successful last night

blue oh wise and wonderful one, your posts are amazing, I was going to write one after you but just couldn't follow Amazing words to barbie
Your trip to Florida sounds fab, it's something we want to do too, and you have plenty of time to save and make it the best trip ever

barbie I am thinking of you, sleep deprivation is sooooo hard, and was at your doctors bill. Dolly is very active and I can't believe she is standing, that is quick She could be very hungry. Remember when Ajay started walking and then waking 2/3 times in the night, I think it was 4ever that pointed out he could be hungry from all the extra energy he is using. I did up his portion size then and that has seemed to work. I maybe clutching at straws for you

monkey glad you had a fab time back in the uk, now back to your cellars

neeko fellow dieter, I wish there was somewhere we could enter our details, like our height, weight and body shape and then a cyber version of yourself would appear and we could try dresses on it to save all the trying on in shops. I hate trying on lots of clothes and don't have the time. I like that monsoon dress, did you try it on?

I have looked after my 2 lovely nieces today, they are 5 and 2, while my sis and BIL went out for a jolly. Had a lovely time with them, but it was too much for DS1, he ended up sitting in his room for the last hour or so, he needed some down time. Am shattered now, so am going to get ds1 off to bed then but my feet up

OP posts:
littlebellsmum · 03/08/2010 23:23

Hiya
4ever I love those photos of Summer - she is just lovely and what mad hair! Got to be space for clips in that already!

neeko I love that dress - get some magic pants and buy it anyway, it's lovely

Vjay Sounds like you had your hands full in the nicest possible way - enjoy the rest

monkey good to here from you - enjoy time with your SIL

We have a houseful at the moment - DH's best friend is here with his 2 dc's. The 4 oldest play really well together and so, my only job is really to feed them all and look after babyJ. Bit sad today as DD foud out that she needs to wear glasses - she's really excited but we're a bit sad for her - having worn them myself, they can be a real pain, but luckily she has no idea and is just excited that she gets to choose glasses.

BabyJ is lovely and smiley too and e seem to have our evenings back - she's been going down at 7pm, being woken at 11 for a bottle and then waking at 5am for a feed. Not bad for a tiddler of just 9.5lb's
We're off on holiday with MIl from tomorrow - well two days in cambridge, then a week in the workshire dales. Will be back in touch when we return - hope everyone has a good week or so

ThePFJ · 04/08/2010 08:30

Hi everyone!!!

Hope you are all doing ok! I have brownies again, so help yourselves.

Well, its been 3 1/2 weeks since my miscarriage, and I am feeling VERY sick. And I do not usually get this sick unless I am PG.
o.O
I'll give it a couple of weeks and if no AF turns up then I'll take a PG test. Just thought I'd fill you girls in. To be very honest with you I don't want to be PG again this early yet, its too soon. Me and DH have been doing it... erm...'externally' in the bedroom for a while... well as much as we could bear... TMI I know I am sorry..... So I think the sickness could be me being a bit mental :P
Who knows hey?

Oh well.... we'll see I suppose.

Love to all. xxx

cupcakefairy · 04/08/2010 13:57

Hello lovelies; have a mental couple of days coming up so thought I'd better catch up now!

4ever gorgeous pics! Love the smily one she looks so beautiful! Jude will be weighed tomo at his medical but 2 weeks ago (when he was 6.5 weeks old) he was 11lbs 2oz so he is a porker too!! (LBM can't believe how diddy babyJ is!) he hasn't slept through again but is sleeping 8 hours now (8pm to 4am) so I'm thinking if I do a dream feed when I go to bed he should go til morning but I'm too scared to try one incase he wakes up too much and won't go back down! May brave it tonight. At the mo I'm waking up every morning drenched have taken to stuffing a muslin down my top to go to sleep and every morning it's soaked through with milk...lovely!
He also seems too big for his moses now & keeps hitting the sides in his sleep...seems too soon to put him in the cot though

PFJ hello you sound very upbeat. Don't forget we are always here if you wobble but glad to see you still have your sense of humour

Aw, LBM bless your dd needing glasses. I'm the only one of my siblings to wear them- I too LOVED it when I first needed them (about 11) and now find it an absolute pain not being able to see but at least I have cool designer frames!

louey hooray for charting and I like the 9 months to get the weight off principle

MLS are you there?

Neeko I was doing the napisan soak at 4am J seems to be particularly leaky at the mo...he needs to move into size 3 nappies I think. Does anyone know if what I eat directly affects him...as in, I'm eating so much dried fruit etc for my bowels but will that make him, yknow, softer too?

barbie I watched that Can't Sleep Kids show last night and it made me cry seeing those poor mums at the end of their tethers with their kids...made me feel massive sympathy for you. How was Dolly last night?

Right..off to finish lunch...how many points is a muller rice?

barbie1 · 04/08/2010 15:11

im here, lurking....just so you dont think i have deserted you all.

Still waiting on test results, no more sleep but we have teething powders to try tonight

littlebellsmum · 04/08/2010 16:06

cupcake try the dream feed. works really well for baby j - she goes back down really easily

good luck too barbie - repeat after me - the powders will work, the powders are magic...

barbie1 · 04/08/2010 17:57

The powders are magic!!!!!
She hasnt woken up for 2 hours!!!!
believe me, that is great!!!
Im happy
didnt have to stuff the whole plate of dinner in my mouth in one go!
Managed to have a shower
talk to my hubby
stroke the dog

Slowly slowly but if she can even cut out one wake up a night in about 8 nights i might be back to normal......

oh i lurve the white powder

barbie1 · 04/08/2010 18:00

cupcake i managed to watch the tv show you were on about and i cried too while watching the monitor and hoping she would sleep longer than 45 mins....
I think the softly softly one worked better because the little boy could sleep anywhere....

Right hopefully ill be back posting more soon, fingers crossed for me tonight!

mermaidspurse · 04/08/2010 18:02

barbie, that is fab that you managed to talk to dh and pat the dog.

oops gotta go bbq in a force 8! xx

bluesatinsash · 04/08/2010 20:44

Super quickie from me - spending all available time cooking and freezing food in kitchen but its ironing night tonight - rawk and roll.

barbie - praying the white powder is indeed a miracle in a packet/jar whatever it comes in xx

4ever - at Summer photos and you're descriptions of her. I will think of her whenever I see a meerkat .

neeko - really like the dress , that one I would team with long cardigen to offset legnth?

monkey - will do a couple of links to my fav Boden stuff when I have more than 2 mins.

lbm - sounds like you've turned a corner with babyJ

cupcake - waterproof pj's for you Mrs!

pfj - welcome back

Vjay - happy days with your sis

Calling all bf Mums - I have two very nice bf tops that are going a-begging. Size 10-12 from Blooming Marvellous. One is pink with tie at front and one it double layered navy caridegen with white t-shirt inside... Email if you're interested..

Note to all new Mums - the new Jo Jo Mama Bebe catalogue is out and it has gorgeous baby clothes... You get a discount if you order from here...

Gotta go, chores are a calling x

ThePFJ · 05/08/2010 08:31

Morning girls. Well DH hasn't been paid yet (It's very late...), so I have buggered up the rent and had to go cap in hand this morning to my family until we get paid. I so LOVE to to do that. >.<

I have to go to the pharmacy later to pick up all little Jack's presriptions, and he's seeing the head consultant/surgeon for chesterfield next week to see whether there will be an operation for him on the cards this year or not to correct his urethrea urethea er... his wee-wee tube between his kidney and his bladder. (It's too early to spell today)

I'll put the kettle on so help yourselves to tea and coffees. Much love to you girls. xXx

ThePFJ · 05/08/2010 08:33

Barbie - so glad you are getting somewhere!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. xxx

Neeko · 05/08/2010 09:35

Morning.

Another pretty good night here although I have been awake since 4.30...

PFJ Sorry to hear about the rent. Us control freaks hate it when things like that happen. Will Jack definitely need an op? How's the sick feeling today?

Bluethedomesticgoddess Hi lovely. I'd love to take you up on the feeding tops but couldn't squeeeze my (.)(.) into them. By the time I've dieted that small I should have stopped feeding. Hadn't thought of a cardigan - thanks

Mermaid How was the BBQ? Did you blow away?

Barbie Glad the powders are helping. Once Dolly's running she should settle down Just a thought, know it's hot there but what does Dolly wear to sleep? Is the air con possibly too cold for her. M always needed to be warmer than recommended to sleep well. Maybe worth a try. I love gro-bags.

Barbie/cupcake That programme had me in tears too. I couldn't do the hardcore version and think it would be really cruel under a year old.

LBM Hope you have a nice break. Bless to DD1 needing glasses. I got mine at 10 and i hated them but things got much better when I was finally allowed contacts and most people don't know I need them now. Not brave enough for the op though. You get lots of gorgeous glasses now. Have a nice break.

Cupcake at the milk-soaked muslin! Hope your supply settles soon.

4ever Glad things are going well. S is beautiful. H has lots of hair like that but curly. How often is S BF now. Is it mostly for comfort?

Monkey Did try the dress on and it was nice. I'm hoping wrongly that I'll be ale to buy it a size smaller, although I may see something I like better.

Thanks for all your comments re the dress. I'm not normally so unsure about clothes but I'm not normally so wobbly hipped either

hello

one handed typing so cant stay long...

Dolly is standing up to the side of me and breast feeding, her preferred method at the moment!.

She slept til 9.30pm, quick feed right back to bed until......2.30am in fact both dh and i were awake waiting for her to wake.

Fed....and back to sleep til 5am, very quick comfort fed and another hour sleep til 6am.... please, please let this be the corner that we need to turn!

neeko well done on little H sleeping, the dress is lovely and a cardi is a fab idea....Dolly hates, hate, hats her grow bag, much to restricted for her. The ac is on 25, the top temp recommended for here. 21 being the lowest, she never seems cold but you might be onto something, ill pay closer attention tonight.

pfj i cant have one of your brownies, im dieting ... oh ok then, just the one glad you are back, boo hiss about dh wages, hope they come through soon

right off to mothercare, the bra's and babygro's were all the wrong size when i got home and opened them there is no way these boobies are squeezing into a b cup!!!

Do actually have a few mins today after all...meant to say VJay there is somewhere you can get style tips for your body shape-
here it's Gok Wan's site - you choose the size of your different body features and it comes up with loads of clothes to suit you. Once you get to the end you click the different tabs for dresses, skirts etc and there are links to a whole load of suggested items. I've used it before to find dresses that suit me without having to trawl the shops (it tells you which shops they're in etc) and I've used it to buy clothes as presents for friends...it's great

neeko it's only at night my boobs go mental when J goes longer without feeding. Thankfully during the day my supply is settled.. in the first couple of weeks I couldn't feed in public as we both ended up looking like we'd been swimming not a great look!

Tried dream feed last night at 11 and he went back down fine but the problem is nappies! I'm sure he'd have gone through til 7 but I woke up to hear him filling his nappy at about 3 and had to change it as he's been doing such massive nappies recently (!) and then he needed a quick feed to settle back down... might try again tonight and see what happens.

Got jabs this afternoon

Hello all! Sorry for going AWOL.... Finding it hard to find time to get online!

cupcake I did have epistiotomy .... V similar to you! I could do without the stiches, but to be honest was just so glad to escape an em cs and that she got out safely that I wasn't too bothered... But sitting g down for the first week was not easy!

barbie glad the powders are working!

I really need to catch up properly, will try asap.

Little piglet is very good, although has been cluster feeding all eve since 5pm, so am ready for her to stop that now

Hi

Barbie Hope the heat thing is the reason. then I could call myself a sleep guru

Cupcake Hope the dream feed goes better tonight. Lol at the swimming - you were clearly born to feed!

I bought a dress for the christening today from a little shop in my hometown. It's a Frank Lyman dress. Tried to find it on the web but it's part of a new collection so not on yet. It's Cadbury chocolate purple with capped sleeves, key hole back and is BF friendly. It cost way more than I meant to spend but is a classic and makes me feel good. It should look even better as i lose weight.
