neeko Your hula hoop story was great and had both me and DH rolling about laughing - I think she may be a junk food addict!

Neeko · 08/10/2010 07:53

Hi

BQ I know I already texted but Grin Grin Grin Glad you found your way back to the greenhouse. No wobble too big here.

Moon Sorry about the BFN. Too early?

Buddha E sounds great. How often do you work?

LBM We aim to entertain Smile

Barbie think Dolly is cutting hours off your life with all her shenanigans Smile

MLS Look what I started now will you get a bloody move on!

LOL at the strings talk.Grin

Texted Gracie yesterday. She's fine but has no computer right now.

Another 2 hour wkening here last night. That's every night for almost 4 weeks. All ideas welcomed.

No nursery between now and a week on Wed due to school hols so lots of autumnal days out for us.

MummyLovesSadie · 08/10/2010 08:43

Haha you lot and your strings! Grin It's having the opposite effect though & it working as a kind of exposure therapy, see I can even say the word STRINGS without boaking! I imagine them as kind-of venetian blind adjustment strings hanging out of your fanjo, it that what they are like?

Moon sorry you had a bfn, what cd are you? How did you get on with the opk's?

Neeko how many times & how long does dd2 nap for during the day? Maybe that is the problem? If she is now eating her mince & tatties it can't be a food issue. What is she like when she's awake in the night? Crying or awake & wanting to play?

Right, going for a long walk pushing a heavy buggy with an even heavier three-year-old in it shortly so maybe that'll get things moving. Or perhaps the birthday party full of kids high on jelly-babies & fruit shoots will do it this afternoon....? Hmm

mermaidspurse · 08/10/2010 09:25

am slightly worried about venetian blinds and fangos thoughts. This is serious you have work to do come on tuck into that pineapple.

bq hope you are ok today.

gracie happy birthdaySmile

BlueMoon1981 · 08/10/2010 20:00

i'm loving the strings talk, making me :) i have no idea how the coil works though, but venetian blinds??

mls i am on cd33, i have my usual af symptoms, so she is on her way but couldnt resist a hpt just in case Blush

still Grin Grin for bq

BlueMoon1981 · 08/10/2010 20:02

oh yes sorry forgot the opk's - literally! i tested every day from about cd9 til cd 20ish with only faint lines then i must have got bored cuz i remembered about 5 days later i hadnt done any for a while Blush i either ovulated late or not at all Hmm

MummyLovesSadie · 08/10/2010 20:54

Hmmmmmmmm interesting , the best way of telling if you are ovulating or not is to do temp charting. You will get a clear raise in your temp the day after you ovulate but I don't think you want to go down that route do you? At least if you found out if you were not ovulating you would have something substantial to go to your gp with.

Well the walk & the party obviously haven't made any difference. It's just business as usual for me, ho hum .

BlueMoon1981 · 08/10/2010 21:49

mls i would walk to the moon and back if i could just get pregnant again. i will read up on temping as i have no idea about it, i always thought id have a baby by now or at least be pregnant and didnt think i would need to intervene in mother nature.

and i told you before, baby is due on the 10th Wink so just you take it easy til then please :)

bakingqueen · 08/10/2010 21:49

Hello all thank you so much for your congratulations it means so much still feeling Grin Grin but also a bit Biscuit for the next few weeks.

mls- hope that things start happening soon for you

moon- so sorry you got a bfn maybe next month its not aover until the evil one arrives
Rubbish catch up I know will try harder

Love and massive hugs to you all

xx

MummyLovesSadie · 08/10/2010 21:57

Moon sod mother nature, most of us need as much help as we can to get pregnant! Grin If it were so easy then we would all be on our third child by now! Use this website as it is quite simply genius. You get your first 30 days free but I guarantee that after 30 days you will be hooked & then after that it's really not expensive.

BQ are we allowed to ask how many weeks you are? Are you going to contact your local epu for an early scan at 7 weeks?

bakingqueen · 08/10/2010 22:24

5 weeks today know its really early days yet. Local epu last time said they would scan at 10 weeks but if normal would not scan again until 20 weeks!! Not sure what to do may see how I feel in a few weeks if everything still feels ok then may see about a private scan just to put my mind at ease

Moon I really feel for you I just hope next month is your month you really deserve to have a baby of your own and I have y fingers crossed for you xx

MummyLovesSadie · 09/10/2010 05:51

Wide awake. For the last hour.

Neeko · 09/10/2010 06:32

Morning MLS

Neeko · 09/10/2010 06:48

H woke up about 9 times between 7.30 and 9.30 last night. Really thought we were in for it. Then she slept until 6am!!! Grin Grin Grin Was that my Christmas present early?

BQ Yes it's early days but you have to start somewhere Smile Do whatever you need to do to get you through. It does get easier in about ten weeks.

Moon I had a little Smile at you forgetting to use your OPKs. I also recommend that site. It made me feel so much more proactive and somehow in control. Possibly helped by the fact that MLS and I checked up on each other's charts.

MLS Going by your own dates, the baby's not due yet is it? Remember you have the whitest of white coats. Smile H sleeps about 3 hours during the day in total. Generally 1.5 hours in the morning (2 hours after waking) and 1.5 hours in the afternoon (about 2.5-3 hours after waking from her 1st nap). I've tried limiting her morning nap to 45mins a la GF but didn't seem to help and made her really grumpy.

Mermaid is the kitten clean again?

MummyLovesSadie · 09/10/2010 07:14

Morning Neeko! Grin Hmmmmmm it's a tricky one. GF is good but she doesn't tell you how to implement her routines. Having said that I was lucky with dd as she pretty much had 45 mins in the morning & afternoon & an hour and a half at lunchtime which is what GF says to do. How about the EASY routine, will she follow that?

Going by my dates the baby is due on Monday. My next-door-neighbour is now in Bath all day (until the early hours of Sun morning) & my friend who lives up the road is now in Czech Confused! I do have the lady across the road & another good friend I can call upon if I need them today but I bet this baby is hell-bent on coming at the most inconvenient time when nobody is available!

Neeko · 09/10/2010 07:24

Hello loevely. I bet this baby is too. Smile If the worst happens your DH will need to stay with S and you'll have to cope without him. I have no worries at all in your ability to cope but hope that doesn't happen. Either that or you could stick S on a plane and send her to me Smile

Think H has read both books and has decided not to conform. At least i feel refreshed today and by lunchtime DH will be off for a week. Yay!

Neeko · 09/10/2010 07:24

My typos don't suggest that I've had sleep Blush Hmm

MummyLovesSadie · 09/10/2010 07:32

I didn't know he was having a week off. Have you got anything planned?

I do have fleeting thoughts about giving birth on my own a la Vjay, well in our Mums day they wouldn't have had our Dads with them would they? I want him to see me in pain though as it is a useful tool to be used during all types of negotiations such as which baby name to choose! Grin

VJay · 09/10/2010 09:08

mls ajays birth was so quick so there's an incentive to get you through it if you're on your own Wink.

neeko my dh is off the follwing week and I can't wait SmileSmile
