Man, not been on for ages, struggling to get puter time...
Have a great holiday Jools and love your name choice for MLS
.
MLS - am I terrible for
at falling off a bed being a baby rite-of-passage, like getting their first knee scab and nose bleed? 4ever it is awful, heart in mouth but they are very resiliant and don't fall like we would as they don't know they're going to hit a hard surface so don't seize up which is what causes most pain and harm. Its why when you fall over drunk you don't hurt as your body is relaxed. Anyhoo, we've all been there and it's one of many heart stopping moments that is parenthood!
Vjay - hope you're not all stirred up still from theother thread. sometimes its just bst to stay away.. Lovely image of you and Ajay on the train talking to a wee old Scottish lady. Did you share a scone
?
Monkey - have you made the trip with your windmill yet? I know I've said it before but always feel humbled by your amazing capacity to post here, offer advice and a kind word AND a recipe for mincemeat when your heart is still grieving so much. At the risk of sounding trite, and its maybe been mentioned before but have you looked into counselling? Just being able to talk about all these feelings your keeping locked up tight? Budha and me had some after our mcs and I founf it a relief being able to talk about my loss and hope and fears.. On a lighter note, I am so in love with mini boden this autumn, Isaac loves the skater monkey jammies, I just wish I could buy everything
mermaid - I think you were secretely in love with a Boris when you were younger
? He's popped up on every impending birth list! LOL at the 'Boden mummies' do they also carry Cath Kidtson bags?? How's the kitten, did you get the paint off?
Neeko - yay to mixed feeding going well. Just need to up the steak and pie solids!
barbie - have another gold star for being so persistent and patient with Dolly. You have one determined strong willed little lady there and you are doing a brilliant job knowing when to get tough and when to give cuddles. Glad her bowels are ok x
Buddha - lovely to hear from you honey! E is looking cuter and cuter, can you believe he is nearly a year
? Agree work is fine once you get back into it and part-time is the way to go-go!
Sabs - how did your first day back go? what a thing to spring on you just before you go back.. Keep us posted, remember I work in NHS HR so can give universal legal yeahs and no nos if you need.
LBM - did you get your car back??
Right, lunch over. All well 'chez blue'. DH and me are off Fri/Monday so going to Glasgow on Friday with boys to do a Crimbo recon and hopefully get curtain material for new room. Dying to get it kitted out and can't buy rug/candles/runner for table until I know my colour scheme...
