opk's & pre-seed Smile

ThePFJ · 06/09/2010 08:48

Ooooooooooooooooooooooh. Wow, I never saw that preseed product before. What a good idea!!

Thank you wise owl :)

xxxx

MummyLovesSadie · 06/09/2010 11:51

Pre-seed is really good stuff, I've heard loads of reports of women getting pregnant after using it as it actually encourages sperm to swim to where it's needed. It worked for me! You only need to use a little bit at a time though as it's very runny!

I was awake half the night with really bad heartburn & ended up going downstairs at 5am to get some Gaviscon - I must be having a very hairy baby! Grin

Where is everyone? Hmm

loueytbg · 06/09/2010 12:27

I'm here - CD1 Sad and feeling sorry for myself. AF had the cheek to appear at 3am!!! Not a good nights sleep.

mls am feeling nostalgic about your apple
and blackberry crumble. Yum.

pfj hope you get some resolution either way

Waves to everyone else.

MummyLovesSadie · 06/09/2010 12:51

Oh Louey bugger bugger bugger Angry.

mermaidspurse · 06/09/2010 17:11

louey I will just stock the greenhouse up then. Kick the water butt it helps.x

qa you poor woman I am sorry that you have such a waiting game through the next few months, thinking of you.

pfj fingers crossed for you a lot.x

moon strokes chin thoughtfully and had better cross everything.x

back at school Confused up early even moreConfused rain, some more rain and then a bit more rain. Went to the gym and then had to eat a massive ham tomato and cheese toastie thought of vjay and neeko* whilst doing this.

blue how is ds1 settling into nursery and how is ds2s ear? Hope you are all ok.

monkey please update us on your poor dog too.

right sun is out so I am going to ring the washing out which is on the lineSmile

loueytbg · 06/09/2010 18:03

qa I don't think I posted to you in my self-indulgent angst - but really I'm sorry you have been so poorly again. Really hope the op comes through quickly and it sorts things out. Charting in the meantime is a good plan I think and there are lots of experts on here who can help (disclaimer - not me, my charts are decidedly NOT textbook).

mermaid thank you my lovely. I heard the horrible weather was coming our way. Tube strike here tomorrow and I am planning on running into the office from the train (assuming I can get on it). I'm going to be soaked! Well done you on going to the gym - a toastie is just what you need after that Grin

mls damn heartburn. I expect your baby will be bald after all this!

Right, looking on the bright side:

  1. I do not have to lie to PILs about why I'm not drinking when we go and see them in a couple of weeks

  2. I can now play in the charity football tournament on weds night (and enjoy a few beers afterwards)

  3. I am going to sign up for the 10k race I did last year and see if I can beat my time (its in 3 weeks).

  4. This cycle was more like my pre-mc ones (at least in length).

  5. A June baby would be lovely Grin

Right - got to go and pick up DCs from the childminder.

BlueMoon1981 · 06/09/2010 19:14

louey cd 1 for me as well :( funnily enough as i marked it off in my diary, i also thought a june baby would be nice :)

QuestionsAgain · 06/09/2010 19:57

Thanks for all your messages Smile

MLSwiseowl your crumble sounds delicious, hope it wasn't that that caused your hearburn!

moon Not much comfort, but at least now its CD1 you know you won't have a really long cycle, sometimes the waiting is the worse bit. Funny how you and Louey are on the same cycle, perhaps this is a sign?! Grin

louey your, 'on the bright side' list sounds good and definitely worth doing. I keep trying to look on the bright side, sometimes it even works Hmm One thing i keep thinking is that it means I can enjoy DS on his own for a little longer and the bigger age gap will make it easier if I do ever have another.

PFJ Sorry your cycle is still messing you around Sad I had a really good feeling that you would have had your BFP or be having it soon, am still keeping my fingers crossed.

mermaid I'm impressed that you made it to the gym, even if you did have a toastie afterwards Grin Love toasties, did you see Heston Blumenthal make an enormous one in one of his recent programmes

I am charting on Fertility friend, I am struggling with the BBT though as the time I take it on a morning varies so wildly, don't know how much of an effect it has? I seem to like all the graphs Blush At least on this thread I know am not alone!

monkeybumsmum · 06/09/2010 21:15

Louey and Moon Damn AF Angry. Big (((hugs)))

Dashing on as absolutely exhausted and off to bed. I only got in from first day back at work at 9pm, having left this morning at half six. I ache all over, tis such a shock to the system!

Thanks so much for all the doggy well wishes. As we thought, it's probably cancer Sad DH took her to a cancer specialist this morning and she's got to go back in for a biopsy and tests to see how far advanced it is, and whether she might be able to tolerate chemo. I can't believe this is happening to our precious little love. I brought her with me as a puppy when I moved here, and the thought of being without her, well, I just can't imagine it. Left untreated she's got 4-6 wks Sad

Sorry about the purely me post, but my eyes are blurring now (contact lenses Angry) so must go to bed. Up at half five again tomorrow!

Hope you all okay, and will catch up properly when the madness has calmed down.xxx

bluesatinsash · 06/09/2010 21:22

monkey - honey huge, huge {{{{{{HUG}}}} Dogs are so part of the family, its just heartbreaking when their health starts to fail.. Really hope there is something that they can do xxx

Had a worrying afternoon/evening as Benny's rash came out again so we've been to hospital twice and just back in from out of hours. He may be allerrgic to anti-b's but nothing to worry about - I am so relieved...

Will be back on tomorrow for proper catch up as DH is away to Scotland game (the fool!) but just wanted to give all our small panters a big re-boot hug, wipe down, straighten of the shoulders and onwards and upwards to next month! Oh and June is a lovely time of year to have a baby Smile. Go go September conceptions!!

Right jammies on and cuppa me thinks x

mermaidspurse · 06/09/2010 21:27

monkey oh lovely, spect you are in bed sipping hot choc but I so hope the vet can do something for her.

blue poor wee b. Huge big cuddly for the both of you.x

MummyLovesSadie · 06/09/2010 21:52

What a stressful & worrying day on the thread today.

Blue what can I say, every Mother's nightmare is a skin rash - we automatically think the worst. I'm sure you did the glass test but still you always think if it's not that then it's going to be something equally as bad. So glad it's nothing to worry about. Hows your extra room looking?

Monkey your poor little doggy, it never rains but it pours hey? Really hoping for a positive outcome for you.

QA I used to keep my thermometer under my pillow & used to take my temp whenever I woke, even if it was in the middle of the night. I'd sometimes end up taking my temp three times before the morning! I used to do that because I never had a regular waking up time & dd would often wake me up & I'd have to run straight into her room.

Moon & Louey, loving your positive attitudes at least you have synched your cycles now so are comrades in ttc.

Mermaid this is the first time in ummmmm 26 years that the new school term has had a direct affect on me & I have to say I like it Smile. Bring on gymnastics & ballet classes & pre-school & let me put my feet up! Wish I could say I'd been to the gym like you but just getting my bum off the sofa is enough of a work-out for me at the moment! Grin

Right I've had enough of this family gap-year nonsense - bunch of bloody idiots, I'm off to bed with a bottle of Gaviscon.

cupcakefairy · 06/09/2010 22:13

Hello loves.
monkey soooo so sorry about your poor wee doggy. Such an emotional connection for you too that you brought her over there with you as a pup :( really hope she will pull through.

QA I have the same problem with the temping now I have ds (wow, think that's the first time I've called him that, so weird!) cos you're meant to have been asleep for 3 hours at least before taking it. At the mo he's waking at 3 then 6 so I'm just about ok but over the last few weeks it's been all over the place. I think as long as you've been asleep a little while an you take it as soon as you wake up then it's fine.

Louey Angry to af! loving your list. I remember writing one pretty much with the same things on it last year, about 2 months before we conceived. :)

moon :( for you too... but as QA said, at least you won't have the long confusing cycle. I can personally testify to you and Louey that June babies are just the best :) lovely lovely time of year with long evenings and being able to go to the park. Massively praying for the both of you that this is the first day of your pregnancies.

mermaid I have just eaten massive doorstop of dh's lemon drizzle cake Grin so I'm doing as well as you! Although I am now back in my 'everyday' jeans, hooraaaay!

MLS lol at the family gap yaaaah program :) I meant to watch the BB winners Come Dine With Me but completely forgot! Meh. Loving Ultimate BB at the mo; will be gutted when it finishes!

blue what a relief that B is ok, poor soul.

Waves to neeko, vjay, 4ever, curly, iggy and all our lurkers xxx

cupcakefairy · 06/09/2010 22:16

Ooh forgot a quick update on me... I made babycake laugh for the first time today!! It was just an amazing little giggle & I could have cried! (And no I didn't do it by singing 'Baby Got Back' Grin)

QuestionsAgain · 06/09/2010 22:27

blue Bet you are worn out this evening after such a stressful day, glad your DS is ok.

monkey so sorry about your poor dog, they really are part of the family and it can be so distressing to see them suffer. Sad Hope the specialist can help.

MLS thanks for the tip. Smile I will probably get more obsessed in to it when it actually worth it iyswim. Make good use of that sofa over the next few weeks, while you can Grin Hope you have a better nights sleep.

QuestionsAgain · 06/09/2010 22:30

Xposted cupcake Lol at baby got back, i love that friends scene where Rachel is so pleased to have found a way to make her DD laugh. Pleased you got babycake to laugh, however you manged it! Grin It is a really special moment when they 1st laugh.

QuestionsAgain · 06/09/2010 22:31

manged= managed Blush

Need to be in bed now!

cupcakefairy · 06/09/2010 22:48

I absolutely love that episode too QA, especially the end "Rachel please! That is so inappropriate!" Grin

I only did it by playing peek-a-boo with a muslin square Hmm my son is abviously easily pleased!

4everhopeful · 07/09/2010 06:32

Im still here! Just had massive catch up as not even managed much lurking of late, busy busy! All good stuff though, including taking Summer to brighton on sat for first time at the seaside! Grin I have missed u all though and need to do a big post, but not now as dh just gone to work after having yesterday off and im going back to sleep!

Just had to pop onto say Sad and huge hugs tea and sympathy to moon qa louey and pfj about damn af arrival.. I really hoped i may of come back on here to some good news and was so disappointed, not a patch on how you all obviously feel, but take heed from blues words, onwards and upwards to next month.. Law of averages means it has to be soon girls... Bring on bfps!

Monkey so sad and sorry to hear about your poor doggy... Sad I really hope they can do something. I lost my 2 childhood doggys to cancer too 9yrs ago this month. They were mum & daughter and got it at the same time, absolutely heartbreaking, i feel for you sweetie x

Blue Shock poor baby benny! Jeez i bet your heart was in your mouth? Thank god he is ok but what a horrid scary day i bet you had.. Tummy tickles for him and large glass of rose for you! (Though feels a bit wrong to write that at 6am!) Grin

Mermaid lovely lady with the wise and understanding words, hope you are doing ok?

Mls i lived on gaviscon in last few weeks too to hopefully you will get your hairy baby! Crumble sounds yum, dh and i did an apple one last week too with stolen apples from neighbours tree at end of our garden! Blush Grin

Cupcake bless our in sync babas! Dd Grin also laughed for the first time on bank hol! Grin Dh was doing aeroplanes and crashing her into my face which she found hilarious! What a magical sound! Grin Another proud parent moment, on sunday she worked out how to pull her chime on her bouncer chair and did it over and over with such a look of serious concentration on her face! So glad dh had a few days off and seen her little milestones too! Grin

4everhopeful · 07/09/2010 06:59

Ooh just taken back to top of thread and seen actually no af after all for you pfj! Can i be a bit excited? Biscuit When i logged on i so hoped id see some bfp news!

Qa forgive me too please for scan reading and not actually realising where you are in your cycle? That will teach me for trying to catch up whilst half asleep!

Will be back later, so much for going straight back to sleep when dh left! Luckily biscuit loves lie ins so i have til about 10am still! Grin She falls asleep downstairs at 8pmish, bring her up when we go to bed about 10pm and give bot bot or boobys, then sparko in crib til 5am when dh gets up! In bed with me for booby snacks, then nice lie in til 10am! Grin We are very very very lucky! This i know! Must be hereditary! Grin Zzzzz

VJay · 07/09/2010 07:34

loueytbg · 07/09/2010 15:51

monkey so sorry about your dog, big ((((hugs))) from me.

4ever and cupcake at laughing babies. Its lovely isn't it.

4ever 10 am lie-in sounds like bliss to me. We used to give DTs a feed at 6ish and then go back to bed until the 10 am feed. It was lovely. It seems like a long time ago now!

cupcake yay for being back in everyday jeans!! It doesn't seem that long ago that you said you could just get into your feeling-fat-day jeans so you must be dropping weight pretty quickly. Am hoping my list has the same effect as yours did Wink

blue how is baby B today? Rashes can be so scary - I remember doing the glass test for meningitis at one point, it was horrible.

vjay how is the cycling going?

mls must be lovely to have a break just at the moment with DD at pre-school. Is the gaviscon helping at all? Is there anything you can change in your diet which might make a difference?

qa yes agree, bigger age gap will help. Re charting - I'm not sure that taking it at a different time makes a massive difference to my temps. What does make a difference is drinking as I always have higher temps after I have drunk the night before. Also disturbed sleep can upset the temps. I think as long as you mark on the chart when you took it and whether you had a bad nights sleep then it is fine to take it at different times. You may see a pattern after a while, or you may find it makes no difference.

moonmycomradeinttc [TM mls] double bugger. OPKs at the ready....

pfj Biscuit

part 1 of run into work completed. Gridlock on the roads here today and had to dodge an awful lot of pedestrians....

Running back to the station is going to be hard tonight cos I'm now knackered so I'm scoffing a flapjack - purely for energy purposes you understand Grin

DTs back at nursery tomorrow and I had thought it was Thursday they started (oops) Cue panic and lots of ironing in labels tonight when I eventually stagger get home.

Waves to everyone! Hope you are all ok out there...

loueytbg · 07/09/2010 15:54

Also to add to my list, I will now be able to wear this dress currently somewhere in transit to me Grin (I didn't pay full price, 20% off voucher used last week - not sure how I'm going to explain to DH though...)

monkey got a boden email earlier today with 15% off and I'm trying to resist...

QuestionsAgain · 07/09/2010 19:17

cupcake 'tis the simplest things that make them laugh, though you have disappointed me, was hoping for a 'I like big butts and I can not lie...' moment Grin

4ever Envy at your lie ins. Don't worry about the cycle confusion, I am not really on the small pant bench yet as can't begin ttc until I am better and have had surgery Sad Though i am right in the middle of my cycle and all the signs seem to be pointing towards ovulation now or next day or 2 and it is soooo frustrating that I can't take advantage of it. Summer sounds like she is doing so well and you have taken to motherhood like a duck to water Smile

Vjay Just had a nosy at your photos, your boys are so gorgeous, love the recent photos of Ajay. How is the diet going?

Louey Love that dress! Hope your DT's settle back in to nursery ok tomorrow. Thanks for the temping advice, will have to see whether drinking makes a difference on the odd occasion I have a bottle glass of wine Grin

MLS did you sleep any better last night?

Might go and have a glass of wine, purely for scientific purposes of course, to er,, evaluate whether wine consumption effects temperature Wink The things I have to do...
